The 2 oz lemon and 2 oz olive oil works. I tried it 2 hours ago and captured the stones just now. No pain.
I took some lemon with water the first night after the excrutiating pain without knowing what it was and I was well the whole day. The second night I tried the lemon but went to the ER. They gave me a lot of pain medication, idetified the size (4 mm) and sent me to the urologist. He recommended the ESWL treatment and I did it. I would have preffered to do the lemon and olive oil treatment first. I use to sell chemicals to prevent calcium oxalate deposits in paper mills and citric acid (a component of lemon juice) was used very often. There is science behind it.

6mm stone and I couldn't believe that this really worked on it. I went to the hospital 2:00PM yesterday they did a CAT scan and told my I had a 6mm (1/4") kidney stone. Felt like I was having labor pains & sick to my stomach couldn't keep anything down, one minute I would be sweating the next I would be freezing, absolutely could not be still, excruciating pain, it started about 6:00AM that morning in my lower left back moving around to my left side then to left front then it just stopped. I had one about 3 years ago a 2mm one, so I figured that I knew what it was. When it didn't move for 4 hours I went to the hospital, they put an IV in gave me some pain & nausea meds. did the CAT scan and sent me home with my little screen pan to tinkle in and watch for stone. They said I might pass it and I might not since it was that large. I had to take pain meds. every 3 hours to keep the pain down. I saw this web site this evening and mixed me up 2oz lemon juice and 2 oz olive oil (gross), I had to hold my nose to drink it, I also drank 4-10oz glasses of water right after. Within 2 hours I passed the stone it was 1/4 inch oval. YEA! Thank you so much for this web site I'll be back and I'll tell all my friends about it.

My adult son was suffering from a kidney stone causing blockage resulting in continual pain and difficult and painful urination. Due to a job change and some paper work mix up he is temporarily (we hope) without health insurance and I think he would be close to death before he would get medical attention. Anyway, I discovered your web site and encouraged him to try the lemon juice/olive oil remedy. He took two ounces of lemon juice with two ounces of olive oil two or three times about eight hours apart. About 24 hours after the first dose something changed a bit and although there was still pain, he was able to urinate more freely. After two days, he could tell that the stone had moved a couple inches and on the third day he passed the stone without further pain. Of course we are not completely sure that this was the result of the remedy, but I will surely try it myself if the need arises. Myself and three chidren have all had kidney stones in the past and had them removed by doctors. Those removal procedures were very painful themselves and I will avoid them if possible

I've been using Lemon Juice/Olive Oil combo for 2 months now and was sad to see my x-ray this past Monday reveal the stone has not moved in over a month! It has reached only about 1/4 of the way down my left ureter, and just seems to be stuck. It is less than 5mm but it won't go! My urine specimen revealed NO blood cells, and I have had only a little bit of pain every so often. I've had stones before this, but this is a very strange time. I've ordered some Chanca Piedra tincture and plan to try that... who knows. I am very discouraged. I'm self-employed, and having had stones before, I am in a PRE-EXISTING, EXCLUSIONARY STATUS according to my health Insurance company. So ANYTHING I do, whether diagnostically or procedurally I have absolutely no coverage. My Urologist told me the other day that he would give me 3 months to see if anything passes, and after that he recommends doing a cystoscope/laser removal, leaving me with a stent for a while... "because since you have no insurance, that's the cheapest alternative to ESWL"... what a guy!

I used the lemon juice/olive oil remedy for kidney stones. An hour or so after the pain set in I drank a mixture of 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cheap lemon juice concentrate (the kind tht comes in the plastic bottle shaped like a lemon). I had to add 1/4 cup of orange juice to balance the acidity (it was too much even with my nose plugged) and 2 ice cubes because the lukewarm temperature was distasteful to me. I followed this with about 16 ounces of purified water (reverse osmosis). The pain resumed. About 2 hours later I did the "bump exercise" from this website. http://www.jumpandbump.com/
I followed the directions and after about the 10th set of "bumps" I immediately felt relief and the urge to urinate. I passed a small, soft, almost mucousy mass about the size of an eraser and then more smaller pieces the next time I urinated. I have felt perfectly normal since. I think that maybe the oo/lemon juice mixture worked on breaking down the stone and then the exercise helped move it down more quickly? I don't know for sure but I felt like I was in active labor, with pain wrapping from my kidney to my abdomen and within hours of ingesting the remedy and moments of completing the instructions on the previously mentioned website I was finally able to release a respectable amount of pee and have felt perfectly normal ever since!!!

will olive oil/lemon juice mix help kidney stones that are still in kidneys? I've read many of the YEAS for the olive oil and lemon juice remedy for kidney stones, but they all seem to discuss starting the remedy after the stone starts to work its way down the ureter.
I passed a small stone a few weeks ago with excruciating pain. I continued to have discomfort in my left kidney area so I went to get it checked out and they found I have one stone in each kidney, 2-3mm each. So far they're not trying to get out, but I sure would like to get rid of them!
My question is, if I start with the 2 oz each olive oil/lemon juice remedy now, is it likely to help move them from the kidneys or do I need to wait until I feel the pain symptom of one starting down the pipe, so to speak, before I start drinking the concoction?

Lemon + olive oil = Its works
Yea... I woke up on 13/7/09 and felt severe pain at my left lower back. I was on my way to exercise and had to return home because of the pain. At midnight the pain became unbearable and I went to the A&E. They tested my urine and suspected me of having kidney stones. I was then sent home and given two boxes of pain relief and asked to see a specialist ..appt fixed at two weeks later.
Because of the long queue , i couldn't wait any more, I was in deep pain. I saw a private specialist the next day, and was given a x ray and CT scan immediately. That cause me s$500. The urologist confirmed from the scan that I had a 3mm stone causing me the pain.
I was asked to go back and drink a lot of water and continued with the pain killers and wait for the stone to pass out..
I am at a loss..don't know what to do... medically it doesn't seem to help me...I was also worried about the high cost of surgery. I search the web for information. I came to this site, and tried out the lemon juice and olive oil cocktail.
After taking a few doses (once a day) .... the pain is greatly reduced... few days later the pain is gone.I also drink apple juice to soften the stones.
I did pass out some sandy particles and feel that my urine flow is much stronger and light coloured now. I begin to increase my intake of water daily and now feel so much better. I already stop all the medication.
A very sincere thanks to you guys and gals for sharing such a valuable information.
Try the lemon juice and olive oil cocktail if you have kidney stones...If u are afraid at least try one OZ lemon and one OZ olive oil ...just try out..
May all sentient beings be free from pain and suffering....

My wife started to have exscrutiating pains and having gone the the hospital for a severe UTI ten days earlier just to have the same terrible reoccurring pains after finishing her anti biotic.
Second trip to the ER and an appointment with a urologist later it was determined by a ct scan that a 5mm stone was making its way down the left uteror. Was prescribed Flowmax and still had hydrocodone from the uti.
The hydrocodone did little to nothing for this pain, she was writhing and pacing our hall for relief, it was abundantly clear further doctors visits wouldn't yield anything but a pat on the head and a hope it will pass in time.
There had to be relief somewhere, found this site and the ingenious feedback for different tinctures and remedy's.
this being day 5 of this fiasco I am happy to report that taking 2oz lemon juice concentrate and 2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil with nose pinched has stopped her pain completely.
She did throw up the contents of her stomach... We tried coke, Heineken, watermelon, tonnes of water, but it ended up with her vomiting cause the pain wouldn't subside.
Just to be safe after throwing up I gave her an table spoon of lemon juice concentrate on her emptied stomach and since she kept that down for an hour loaded her into a hot bathtub and gave her a pain pill.
The pain pill relaxed her enough to sleep in the tub for awhile but... this was about hour three since taking the tincture and an hour after vomiting, the contents didn't look oily oddly enough it looks as if she absorbed enough of the lemon juice to do the magic as this morning shes utterly pain free... just tired.
Gave her a shot glass of the tincture (1 oz each) shes kept it down, which is easier today since theres no pain (duh) lol.
So far. So good. Hoping to see the stone very soon but the RELIEF she experienced this morning is the first relief in days and if your going crazy with this sort of pain do anything.. ANYTHING to take this and keep it down and get comfortable.

lemon/olive oil cure
Woke up last week and discovered blood in my urine. No pain but the copious blood was startling. Two days later woke up with severe pain in left lower back. Found myself hyperventilating and exhibiting diaphoresis. At this point knew I had a stone, the pain was similar to what I experienced before passing a stone in 1989. The pain was unbearable, I resorted to drinking several litres of purified water, but only passed blood tinged liquid.
Finally I passed two rice sized particles, did not think they were stones since they did not look at all like what I excreted in 1989. Immediately felt better but was still passing lots of blood urinating. Woke up on day three of this ordeal with serious back pain and the inability to void. Desperate, went to this site and started taking the olive oil/lemon juice concoction. Retired to the bed for two and a half hours, felt a "kick" in my lower back. Went to the toilet and voided three more rice size particles. Pain returned, unfortunately, and tried another four ounces of the "cure". Had to urinate an hour later and passed two more rice sized granules. This time, however, there was no blood in the urine! Felt immediate relief which has lasted until today - a week later. Still voiding normally and am optimistic that I've dodged another bullet, or at least a stone! Good luck to my fellow sufferers, give this remedy a try, I'll be eternally grateful I looked up this site on the internet.

My husband was recently suffering from a kidney stone. The doctor said it was 5mm and needed to be removed via surgery. It had been stuck between his kidney and bladder for two weeks. He only suffered pain on two of those days, but when he did it was very intense.
In an effort to avoid sugery, and the cost associated with it, we turned to home remedies. First we tried the 2 oz. olive oil with 2 oz. lime juice. He took this about 3 or 4 times a day for two days. On the third day we added a mixture of 2 tbls. of olive oil, the juice of a 1 inch piece of fresh aloe, and 4 or 5 chunks of fresh pineapple. We blended it together and he drank it twice a day. This is a remedy his mother suggested that is used in her native country, El Salvador.
On the third day of using the olive oil and lime juice, and just one day after starting the Salvadorean home remedy, my husband passed his stone without pain. It was just like the other people on this website reported. We couldn't be happier with the outcome!

I have been suffering from kidney stones for 14 years! My first one occurred while I was pregnant with my first child, and then more came thereafter. I take Magnesium daily and my urologist prescribed another medication, but I still have stones in my kidneys. One stone on my left side decided to make a move. So, here I am several months later. The past week the pain has been pretty bad, along with spasms. The stone has made its way down to the opening of my urethra, but will not come out! I decided to try the two most popular remedies from this site when I found it. I first tried the apple cider vinegar, because I didn't have any olive oil. Nothing really happened with it, except for a severe tummy ache! The second day my wonderful husband got some olive oil and I drank that concoction (I must say it went down a whole lot smoother than the ACV!). I'm still having a little bit of discomfort and spasms in my kidney. Third day....another dose of olive oil and lemon juice. I can feel the stone wanting to come out! I'm wondering if it will with it being so low? Will the olive oil and lemon juice still work on it? Help! I'm almost ready to go to the doctor....

I learned a long time ago from Lee DuBelle that you must drink a lot of apple juice to soften stones before you try to pass them. If you have an active infection from the stone, you should take Vitamin C to bowel tollerance or enough to create a fever in order to fight off the infection as well. The apple juice softens the stones to cotton batton like consistency and they pass easily that way. I went to the emergency room once with a kidney stone and after that I researched natural ways to pass the stones. Whenever I feel one coming on, I simply drink as much unsweetened apple juice as I can (organic raw is best but any works) until the stone and gracel from forming stones pass.

I ended up in my urologist's office the next day. I could no longer stand the pain. I have always passed all of my stones (several, I might add). This one was lodged in my ureter and it was the size of a small butterbean(1.5 cm). I went in for lithotripsy the next day. I was in horrific pain immediately following the procedure, but I am much better now. I will probably try the lemon juice and olive oil remedy again, but will only do it if I feel pain in my kidney.

Yea! This is the second time I have had to use the lemon juice/olive oil mixture. I used ita couple of years ago and passed several stones. I started having problems a few weeks ago with stones and started using the mixture again. I think I have passes 4 or 5 stones this time on my right side. I must be getting used to the pain because it doesn't hut as bad as my first one more than 15 years ago. It seems like I have a problem about every two years or so. I am going to drink a mixture of the lemon juice/olive oil once a week just to keep myself cleaned out.

I have been wondering this very same thing: since I know I have numerous stones in each kidney, I am contemplating trying to purge all of them with this method if possible. When you say you passed several stones using this, was it painful? Did you need pain meds? Did it take longer to pass stones that were still in your kidney than ones that had already dropped down? Couldn't they get stuck, block each other, coming down the ureter?

Found out I had a small stone in each kidney 1 1/2 weeks ago (4-5mm). I 've had them before over the last 10 years or so... even to the point of 3 lithotripsies. It seems that each time I have a stone I look online to see if there is anything new. I've fallen for a couple of miracle treatments that supposedly "DISSOLVE STONES INSTANTLY"!. I prefer using a natural means of dealing with them, all in an effort to avoid another lithtripsy (or worse). I hear so many conflicting remedies, and am hoping to someday find the one that works for me. My doctor wants me back in for an x-ray in about 3 weeks or so to see what and where. I decided to try the lemon juice/olive oil (only have evoo right now) and can't say that there's been any change yet. I have some pain and darkened urine at times, but... I plan to stay with it at least until the doctor's visit. I'm also doing a mixture of unfiltered organic apple juice/hydrangea root, marchmallow root, ginger root, uva ursa, which I drink about a cup of 4 times a day (along with a lot of water). Seems to make me feel better and definitely keeps urine flowing . Last night before bed I gulped down about 2 ounces each freshly squeezed lemon juice/evoo and this morning I woke up not feeling that great. Strained my urine and found what looked like mucous of some kind, not a stone?! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and what it might be.

Olive Oil & Lemon Juice for kidney stones: A resounding Yea for this remedy. I woke up early 4th of July morning with excruciating pain in my right side and my back. I knew it was a kidney stone passing because I had them twice before. Waited until 6am to wake my husband up and take me to the ER. They took CT scan and confirmed 3mm kidney stone at the edge of my bladder (and another one in the kidney). They gave me IV pain meds in the ER and Flomax to open the uriter (tube leading into bladder). They gave me a prescription for oxycodone for pain. When I went home I waited until 3pm to take the oxy. but mistakenly took the Flomax again (its supposed to be only once a day). Realized this at 4pm when the pain was not subsiding at all. Took the oxycodone but then went to the web to see if there was anything I could take to help this all along as long as I had overmedicated on the Flomax. I saw the olive oil and lemon juice and decided to try it. My husband mixed 2 oz. light olive oil (not EVOO) with 2 oz. freshly-squeezed lemon juice and put it in a small jar. That was good so I could remix it before I took each sip. Finished that (held my breath while drinking) and then drank 10 oz. of purified bottled water (which I got from a health food store). I laid down and went to sleep until 6pm. I woke up, went downstairs, smiled at my husband for the first time since this episode started and then had a sudden urge to urinate. I saved my urine so I could strain it. It came out really fast, hard and a lot (not like the little bits from earlier in the day). When I strained it, lo and behold my kidney stone was in the bottom of the strainer. Oh happy day!! So bottom line, it took 1 1/2 hours to pass the stone after drinking the olive oil and lemon juice. Now keep in mind, the stone was just at the edge of the bladder so all it needed was a "push." I firmly believe this remedy is what did that. This is my third stone. The first one passed in about 5 hours and the second one took 5 days. So all in all, this one passed pretty quickly. P.S. The stone was the size of a beebee and had a pointy hook on it. Big yea for this remedy. Thank you all. I will definitely use this when the next one pops out (ugh!)

I finished reading your comments and mixed up the 2 ounces of extra virgin olive oil and the Lemon Juice...it went down so smoothly. I don't know if this will work, but I am willing to give it a try...I got the diagnosis of a kidney stone on June 30th and I have not been able to move it...I figure, what hurt can I do with the olive oil and lemonjuice...I just pray that it leaves...I will let you know what happens.
