Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar works. Back in 2005 I developed Plantar Fasciitis. For over a year I hobbled along in pain. Finally a doctor took pity on me and showed me my x-ray. He showed me my "heel spurr" and explained it was calcium. He explained that when you do damage to your bones the body sends calcium to help heal it. A light bulb went off on my head... clearly if I could get the calcium to disperse, I could get rid of the spurr. Reading here I decided to try ACV. A small amount in water (taken via straw to protect my teeth). Within 2 weeks.. TWO WEEKS.. something that had plagued me for a year went away. Later that same year, I developed pain in my hip bone. Once again, ACV worked within a week. 10 years later I developed pain in my heel again -- this time in the other foot. I tried ACV and again, it went away within a week. I am not sure the exact mechanism but it seems that your body does the right thing by sending calcium to heal damage but then the calcium somehow gets stuck. ACV breaks it up and allows the calcium to clear.

One year ago I was supposedly diagnosed with heal spurs and plantar fasciitis. Doc did not want to acknowledge the symptoms of migrating pain and twitching up the leg and into the body. I would at times catch a cold, and would feel it go into my heel, which would then swell so I could not walk. One day out of desperation, I rubbed GSE on it. The next day the pain was gone. A week later, I felt the pain and swelling come back. Again, over night with the GSE say 12 drops on the bottom of the foot, and it was gone the next morning. Simply amazing. I had not considered GSE but had tried: Iodine, DMSO, H2O2, other essential oils, colloidal silver, heating foot packs, magnesium oil rubs and soaks; some of which helped a small bit, but nothing like the GSE. So take it for what it's worth. And thanks Ted.

I want to thank this community for the information provided on the use of the Borax soaks for heel spur pain.
I went through 9 months of plantar fasciatis generated from heel spurs as it turns out. I tried orthotics, heel cups, new shoes, ibuprofen, ice, heat, pulse massager, and copius amounts of beer (beer not necessary, I know).
Untill one day when I read this board and said, "what could I possibly lose". I bought borax, powdered 20 mule team, poured warm water into a container and plenty of powder. never measured, I was just not hesitant to add.
24 hours later, I was better. 2-3 days into it I could feel something happenning as my foot soaked. I was so far gone that it's taken 9 - 10 days of soaking but i'm finally awaking pain free and I feel but a little sting every now and then.
I will continue to wrap and cushion my arch and my heel, as well as soak until it's all gone. Happy soaking all!!

I had been waking every morning for a few months with terrible pain in my heels and the bottom of my feet. My left foot was more painful. Sometimes after prolonged sitting at work my feet would hurt when I would stand.
I have been drinking organic "with the mother" ACV - approximately 1-2 tablespoons in 12ish ounces of water and a dash of cayenne pepper for about one week. No more pain in my feet.

THANK YOU SO MUCH--I almost can't believe my results!! I found the ACV suggestion two nights ago and am already feeling relief from the plantar fascitis I've had for 4 months. I use raw organic apple cider vinegar, adding 2 ounces to my pineapple/banana/strawberry yogurt smoothie every morning. I would say my symptoms are at least 50% reduced already and I have hope it'll keep going!

Recently I started taking Lysine as an immune booster because I have severe allergies. I have had plantar fasciitis since January 2011. It has gotten to the point where my foot feels broken the first few minutes I get up in the morning. After that it mostly feels like a severe stone bruise most of the day. If I sit for awhile and then get up, then I have to stretch it back out again to be able to walk.
Well the day after taking Lysine I got up that morning and was not crippled. It just felt like the stone bruise. I have been taking Lysine for a week now and my foot is feeling 90% better! I'm not sure if it is the Lysine but it's the only thing I am doing differently. I thought I would pass it along so someone else could try it.

Thank you, Priscilla and others who posted their lysine plantar fasciitis healing accounts! I wish I could give you each a huge hug and high five! I had never heard of plantar fasciitis until recently I felt like I bruised the sole of my heal and it was worsening by the day. I'm fairly sure it happened when I started walking miles in new shoes. By yesterday, three weeks into this, I really couldn't walk at all without a fairly high level of pain. So, I came to Earth Clinic to see what I could find. After reading through all the different suggestions, I noticed that lysine was the only remedy offered where each person who reviewed it gave it 5 stars. I had it at home and immediately took 4,000 mg. This morning when I woke up all the pain was gone! I find myself still walking gingerly and then realize I don't have to! I will continue taking lysine for the next several days and if there is any change in symptoms, I will return and post. This is a miracle treatment! Thank you and bless you Earth Clinic! You always come through, changing lives and healing people!

Zinc Chewables Helping Plantar Fasciitis
I've been experiencing mild to severe pain in my right heel and arch consistently for the past 4 months. Stretching helped but only slightly and temporarily. Mornings were extremely painful and walking any time of day was painful. When I stretched I experienced shooting pain but it provided temporary relief. I was stretching often throughout the day and in the night while sleeping hoping I'd be a bit more limber when I woke up but any relief was temporary… A few minutes or maybe an hour.
About 2 weeks ago I started taking zinc chewable supplements to boost my immune system (because Covid is increasing here) and I FELT NO PAIN ALL DAY in my foot!! I didn't even realize it until the second day when I didn't take zinc and the pain returned… so the third day I went back to the tablets every 3-4 hours and again I experienced NO FOOT PAIN! AT ALL!
I've been taking the zinc chewables regularly (11mg 3-4x a day) and I have SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the pain to nothing or just a mild discomfort in my foot. When I feel any discomfort it's mild and usually after a long day. It does NOT hurt to get out of bed in the morning. Stretching my foot doesn't create sharp shooting pains either! Am I crazy?!? This feels like a wonder drug / miracle!
(note: there are other inactive ingredients in the brand I'm taking; Ascorbic acid, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, sorbitol, starch, sucralose. I want to try a pill form (not chewable) but haven't yet.)

Thanks for your tip regarding using Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. I found your comment 2 weeks ago and passed this along to a fellow athlete that has had Plantar Fasciitis for months and months and it wasn't getting any better. He has been taking it now for 2 weeks and emailed me to say his foot has made a rapid improvement and has been able to go walking again. Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES CURE PLANTAR FASCIITIS!
When I was working as a food demonstrator in a large Texas grocery store, I developed Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot. It became steadily more painful, and I tried EVERYTHING to relieve it...ACV, Orthopedic inserts of all kinds, Wrapping my foot tightly with an Ace bandage, Rubbing in Arnica, Triflora, and other suggested salves, and NOTHING worked! My store director told me to get $800 orthotics like his...HA! That was sweet of him, but not at all practical! At the time, I was 67 and collecting SSI and a small paycheck each week.
FINALLY I searched the internet for "homeopathy for Plantar Fasciitis" and landed on my favorite homeopath's site!
https://joettecalabrese.com/blog/homeopathy-plantar-fasciitis/
I just happened to have Symphytum Officinale 200c and Rhus Tox 30c and I took 5 tiny sugar pellets of each under my tongue in order for the remedies to enter my system sublingually as they melted, away from food or menthol products. I repeated this dosage morning and night for about 4 days, and on the 5th day, I awakened and gingerly stepped onto my painful foot, and THERE WAS ZERO PAIN! I thought I was still dreaming, and I tried stepping on it at every angle my foot could turn, and by golly, there was no pain!!!
That was my best day ever, and after TWO YEARS, the pain has not returned, and as directed by homeopaths, I stopped taking the remedies that morning. I can't believe I waited so long, about 30 days, to even search for a homeopathic cure. Oh well, it is what it is!
I hope I didn't break any rules by posting the link to Joette's article on her blog. I just HAD to let all sufferers know that THERE IS A CURE, AND IT IS SOOO QUICK AND EASY! I used the brand "Boiron", which Joette likes to recommend, and it is quite easy to find on the internet. It is cheap, don't pay more than $10.00 for a tube, and both have zero side effects or restrictions. TRY THEM!! YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!

Re: Cure a Heel Spur. As recommended by the late Dr. Jarvis, I've used apple cider vinegar to good effect. For instance, I started drinking 2 capfuls a day of ORGANIC apple cider vinegar in an 8 oz glass daily and felt relief from plantar fasciitis in both heels within a few days. It's possible that the potassium in apple cider vinegar is the active/effective ingredient (as Jarvis suggests)? But I've tried taking potassium tablets alone and did not get the same results, so there must be something intrinsic to organic apple cider vinegar that causes the healing effect? Also, it seems to be important that the apple cider vinegar be organic, because "regular" apple cider might actually be white vinegar in disguise and/or they've filtered out all the beneficial qualities from the "regular" vinegar?

I had crippling facciitis. I did the shots (worthless... The shots hurt more than the faciitis and only gave minimal relief) I have a drawer full of every orthotic known to man (none of which took away the pain in my facciia or my heel) I ended up tearing it doing stretches that were recommended and in the end after 2 doctor recommendations had surgery to repair the faciia. 2 years later my foot is still jacked up and I began having the same issue with my other foot. One day I saw a guy actually running barefoot on the street. I did some research to find out what damage I was sure he was doing to his feet and after reading about these "barefooters" I started going barefoot whenever possible. My good foot no longer has any pain at all and my foot that had the surgery has improved dramatically. All the orthotics were doing is holding the facciia in a shortened position which is the problem in the first place.... When I started going barefoot, it was able to stretch naturally. Pain is almost completely gone! Anyone looking for an orthotic collection?? LOL

Hi all,
Just to let you know. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for a while however, for about a month now I have been taking 10mg Zinc tablets and the pain is almost gone. I wanted to check if it was the Zinc or not so I stopped taking it for a couple of days and the pain was back so since continuing with zinc the pain again is 95% gone.

Plantar Fasciitis is a low thyroid symptom. There are at least 300 low thyroid symptoms. That was one of mine. I did yeast cleansing/leaky gut healing. At the end of the 6 months, my big symptoms went away, they were caused by leakage impacting and inflaming the thyroid. My biggest symptom was anxiety, general and OCD. I think yeast overgrowth happened when I had colic as a baby. I also did Iodine Fulfillment Therapy for 3 months using Lugals 5%. My memory and brain activity improved drastically by the end of the first week on iodine.

SAUERKRAUT Healed My Feet
I injured my feet about 5 years ago (I fell getting out of the way of a bicyclist). They became very swollen and I felt like I was walking on railroad spikes (not pins and needles). I went to the doctor who said they didn't appear to be broken (I knew that). I walked around, painfully, for months until one day I decided that I needed to eat the sauerkraut in the fridge before it spoiled. The swelling was gone the next morning and about 75% of the blunt/sharp stabbing in the feet was gone, too. My feet aren't 100% and never will be. I'm a walker but I can't walk more than 3-4 miles a day now. They now get really really fatigued and become painful if I try to walk too much. But...sauerkraut gave me back my feet...who knew??? :)
Our bodies are supposed to heal themselves but it doesn't always work, especially when your'e older (I'm 64 now). You've heard, "Feed the gut, feed the brain"? Well, I say, 'Feed the gut, feed the whole body'.

I definitely feel a big improvement with my Plantar Fasciitis. Started drinking 2 cap full of Organic Apple Cider mixed with a bit of juice every day for the past two weeks. I also drink Ginger tea, taking Turmeric tablets.
It seems to help reduce the pain by 70% so far. I can sleep at night and do not need to take Ibuprofen.

I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis since Nov. 2022. This past Monday evening I felt a fever blister developing on my lip so I took 3,000 mg. of Lysine at bedtime. The next morning I was amazed to find the pain in both feet reduced by 95%!!! I have been taking 2,000 mg. of Lysine 3 times a days for the past 4 days and feel I will be completely healed in the 2 or 3 days. Once I am healed I plan to slowly reduce my dosage down to 1,000 mg. once a day so I will never have to deal with this painful condition again. I am so glad my fever blister led to this simple miracle cure! Everyone, please try this remedy and pass it on to everyone you know.
