Avoiding Caffeinated Drinks

Hi,cSorry to say its the coffee- as you know. Try sniffing it instead. Why spend money on other supplements if all you have to do is give up the coffee! Start limiting your consumption until its just a treat you have out of the home once a week then stop that too. Your vitamin and mineral status will be much better for it.. I appreciate its a challenge but you'll get used to it. Vitamin e helps veins and also you can rub neat ACV on them. Good luck.

It sounds like you may need mineral salts, possibly because of the diuretic action of coffee/caffine stripping you of minerals (which you are obvioulsy getting from the celery, romaine etc) . In homeopathy, they are known as "tissue salts" (and relatively cheap at many natural health stores). You can buy the salts separately for targeted uses, or in a combo called "Bio-Plasma". Search/google "tissue salts:, or use this link schuessler-cell-salts.com: it explains more extensively (in laymans terms), and provides info on which salt to use for what symptoms, etc.. There are several other makers of tissue salts as well; health stores often carry several brands, most of which have websites with info.
Obviously the best remedy would be to stop the caffeine, and start juicing veggies and fruits, of course! A great way to wean off coffee is to start substituting some chicory for your coffee, or switch to the the coffee/chicory blend known as Cafe Du Monde (French coffee blend from New Orleans, in the bright orangyellow can). Or start adding or drinking carob to your coffee routine instead. WARNING: It's best to wean off coffee slowly over a few months, to prevent headaches/migraines. You also want to start strengthening your capillary walls by supplementing your diet with rose hips. many Vit C supplements added rose hips, so be sure to buy a brand that has them added, because they can be hard to find on their own.
Good Luck & Best Wishes!

Sounds like you simply are magnesium deficient! You would need to take magnesium daily or apply it via the transdermal method for about 2-3 months to restore your magnesium levels as I understand it.

Here's separating the truth from myths in the post:
Truth:
Leg pain at night: This can be a symptom of superficial vein thrombosis (blood clots in near-surface veins).
Varicose veins: These can worsen leg pain and swelling.
Swelling improves with elevation: This is a common sign of leg swelling due to various reasons, including vein issues.
Certain foods might help: While not a proven treatment, staying hydrated and eating a healthy diet with fruits and vegetables can be beneficial for circulation.
Smoking cessation: Quitting smoking is always a good idea for overall health, including circulation.
Myth:
Aspirin and coffee cause superficial vein clots: There's no direct link between occasional aspirin and coffee consumption causing clots. However, long-term high doses of aspirin can increase bleeding risk.
Birth control causes superficial vein clots: Certain birth control pills can increase the risk, but it's a small increase for most healthy women.
Lack of bicarbonates causes superficial vein clots: There's no evidence to support this.
Psyllium fiber with baking soda is a fix: While psyllium fiber can promote gut health, there's no scientific proof it directly addresses superficial clots. Mixing it with baking soda might not be the most pleasant solution either.
Uncertain:
Coffee causing leg pain: While not a direct cause of clots, caffeine can be a vasoconstrictor, meaning it narrows blood vessels. This might theoretically worsen leg pain in some individuals, but more research is needed.
Horse Chestnut
★★★★★
For many years I gave my mother the substance "Horse Chestnut" to alleviate the pain of varicose veins. She also had MS and her legs would ache and that problem was different from the varicose vein issue. For that MS aching problem AEP was very effective. (Calcium AEP) I never had any circulation problem or issue with veins. But a few years ago I noticed an aching going down my right leg, especially bad if I had to drive in my car a great distance. It is a deep aching pain. There is a weakening of the muscle deep in my leg...going high toward the groin area. I assumed this problem was sciatic nerve. But the low back was not hurting. I found if I would lie on my side and have my wife apply weight on my leg (heal of her foot)....not rubbing but applying specific weight with her heal into the inside of my leg, that running down my leg it was very sore. Her application of weight was helpful. But it did not cure me.
THEN, it occurred to me that this might not be so much sciatic as a VEIN problem. The cure for that I already knew....Horse Chestnut. Well, I had a bottle right among my many herbals and so I started on three capsules a day. OK.....almost immediately, the pain has gone. Gone. After a year or longer of suffering I tried something I already knew about and had seen my mother use successfully. Which is yet another life lesson....the cure may not be something new you learn, but using what you already know.
