Cold, Wet Compress

This works, only we have always placed it on our foreheads. This has been used for generations in my family. A cold wet wash rag placed across the forehead. There's something about it cooling your body and settling the stomach. Done at the first sign of nausea it will often pass, or at least make it less frequent. Usually for us though it passes, except in the worst cases. I've used this with both of my kids dozens of times. It is my first line of defense when nausea strikes.

A cold, wet compress layed across the throat will dramatically reduce or eliminate nausea. It might even keep you from vomiting if you're on the edge.
