My 7 yo Cavapoo developed a histiocytoma-looking growth on her leg. It began irritating her after a month, because she gnawed it to the point I took her to the vet. Vet gave an antibiotic, did two separate wait-and-sees. I began applying castor oil at night, covering with thin gauze. Another drop during the day leaving it uncovered. Growth greatly reduced after 1 week. Gone by 3.5 weeks. I'm very pleased with the results and wished I'd done it from the start.

Hello,

I have a 16 year old Maine coon cat that I acquired for my sister which now has a cancerous tumor on his front leg. After visiting with the vet, he said it was too big to remove there wasn't enough skin to put it back together so he told me to take them home and let him live his life out.

So now I'm looking for remedies holistically I came across castor oil so I've been rubbing that on his leg for two days now and it seems to be shrinking. But what am I to expect to happen? Will the tumor burst, or will the tumor shrink, or are there any other remedies I should use? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

My dog Shylo was diagnosed with a tumor on his hind leg that the vet suggested we have removed before it got any bigger to the tune of $700.00. I applied warm compresses first then the Castor Oil. Held it on him for a couple minutes. Twice a day for a couple weeks and it is gone.

I read this page and used castor oil on a tumor on the neck of one of my cats. This tumor had been on his neck for years but it had recently started to grow. I could not afford surgery so I tried the castor oil on his tumor twice a day. After ten days the thing disappeared within two days. Fascinating. It has not returned. It was not an abscess. It has been on his neck, on the underside of it, for years... Miracle.

Update on "Tumor" with Castor oil treatment:

I had a veterinarian inspect the flattened, bumpy spot that was left after the castor oil ruptured the large growth, and the vet said that it is/was a WART.

So, apparently, castor oil is very activating to tumors and dissolves them. Now that I think that it's a wart, I think that I will use ACV to clear it up.

Thank you to everyone who posts here. This is the greatest resource on the internet and has helped me and my family very much.

Castor Oil is working to shrink my dog's tumor. I have a 17 year old Shih Tzu. She has a benign malinoma tumor on the pad of her front foot. In 2008 she had a major operation to remove it. This included the amputation of one toe so that the skin could be used to build back the large walking pad. The tumor came back 2 more times and was removed using a local anethesia. The last time it came back it could not be removed because there wasn't enough skin left. Since she is 17 we thought that she would pass before the tumor got too large. WRONG. The tumor grew and grew. It was about the size of 3 pencil erasers. A second tumor started on the same pad just about the first tumor and a third one had developed just below the pad in the wrist area. It became infected 5 weeks ago and she is now taking an antibiotic.

I found this site and began applying castor oil 5 weeks ago. I started by simply putting some on my finger and spreading it on the open, bleeding large tumor and covering it with a little pink sock. I would apply the Oil 6 times a day. I did this for 3 weeks. The tumor started to grow, which I expected because I understood it had to grow before breaking down. At this point I cut up a cotton shirt and applied lots of castor oil to all of the tumors then I wrapped it in the cotton, followed by adhesive pet bandage, followed by a fake fur, homemade mitten. I do this 2 to 4 times a day. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now. The large tumor is gone and healed. I have continued the treatment to get rid of the other 2 tumors and today I noticed that the small tumor is starting to shrink and the large one in the wrist is softer and smaller. I have taken pictures so I actually have proof that this works. I wanted to share this because I am so grateful for finding this cure. I would like to thank all of you who sung the praises of Castor Oil and took the time to write down your stories. I hope that this can help to give someone the hope that I needed and received.

Update on my dog with cyst on neck that slightly burst after 2-3 weeks of castor oil. The original 3"lump turned into the size of my hand overnight. Slight opening of skin occured but no real expulsion of pus. Brought him to vet and excision of huge neck bulge resulted in massive pus/infection. Dog put on mega antibiotics, etc. Almost 2 weeks has passed and original lump is now gone too.... He has another checkup this week. Incision was kept open and cleaned 2-3 x daily to expell infection and cleaned with water under pressure and expelled as well. He was put on Clavamox, Zeniquin, Benadryl and Cimetidine. He weighs 112# Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is excellent and improved after 1-2 day of mega antibiotics.

I can only assume that the castor oil prompted the cyst to progress that had been lying under his skin for a long time.

Vet was puzzled that she thought he had been bitten by a snake. I assured her that he had NOT......no snakes in my yard. I repeatedly told her it probably was the castor oil........she doubted that is what caused the progress in the abcess.

EC: Thank you for the update, Dee!

This worked. I applied it several (3 ) times a day and thank God, it worked. I truly don't have words to express the gratitude I feel for this site. My Sadiebelle was miserable and had already went to the vet for this and endured a painful procedure that left me in tears. The thought of having to return for another procedure when I noticed it growing back was devasting for my husband and I. But then I checked this site and sure enough, earthclinic cured my girl. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

Hi,

I have an adopted black lab, age 15, "Lady", with a large tumor that appeared on her right leg joint (started as elbow callus appearance). The Vet stated that I would probably have to "put her down" soon because she will stop walking due to leg discomfort. He did not recommend surgery or chemo; she does have an obstructed nasal passage since someone probably kicked and crushed her face at some point in her life. She often gets antibiotics for her nasal infections - we have to carefully feed her to keep food out of her nose.

I am writing to say thank you for your directions and the Castor Oil... it's been nothing less than amazing!

I began treatment a week ago as you directed and the large, mushy mass is now 1/3 the original size, no edema. She is walking around and even rolling in the grass. I will continue all phases of her treatment and wish to say thanks on our behalf, she feels very good, frisky and most importantly, she is able to truly enjoy her days more.

I read about castor oil removing tumors for pets so I put castor oil and a bandaid on a tumor on my chihuahua's back leg. It did make it go away. I left it on for a couple of weeks changing the bandaid every two or three days and putting more castor oil on it. Yea for Castor Oil.

I wanted to share my experience with castor oil. One week ago I discovered a large lump on the throat of my dog, the size of a golf ball. Remembering I had found info about castor on your site, I quickly started aggressively applying it to the tumor. I personally have been brewing and drinking essiac tea for years. I keep the left over sludge and started putting that in my dogs food. Remarkably, the tumor is now gone. A little of a week has passed and after applying the castor oil almost 5 times a day. Thank you so much. On a side note, I have been using the oil on my face for beautiful skin, on my strained veins on my legs, which have been disppearing, and my mother in law's dog with tumors also as well as an enlarged liver, has been applying it to her dogs tumors and liver area, after a visit to the vet, the second tests showed the liver had shrunk to normal.

Castor oil cured a tumor on my dog. My dog had a tumor on his chest, about as big as a nickel and raised about an eighth of an inch. It was progressively getting larger and since it was on his chest was getting rubbed a lot from laying down. The result was a big, dry, cracked and oozing tumor- disgusting!! I read about the castor oil cure for tumors on pets and tried it. Twice a day I applied castor oil to the tumor and covered it with a band aid. Within one week the tumor was completely gone!! all that there is now is soft pink skin- Hooray!! I probably saved a few hundred bucks.

i am not sure if i read this cure from this site or not but if i did i want to thank whoever it was that posted castor oil as a substance to shrink tumors in dogs. it really really worked! my vet told me that the lump on my dog's paw was a non-cancerous tumor and that it should be removed because there is not enough skin on the paw to stretch for the growth of the tumor. i decided to see if there was any way i could shrink it before i decided to put him under for surgery. and so i tried the castor oil twice a day for three days and and the tumor is gone, with the exception of just a little left over skin that stretched from the growth of the tumor, its completely gone!!!! i spent $2.59 on castor oil instead of $200 for surgery. plus i saved my 10 year old boxer from having to go under for surgery.
