For Cold Sores, try BHT.. butyl hydroxy toluene..... Has to be mixed with a fat of some kind to break it down and have it stored in the lymphs it worked for me at the first signs and in less than a day, next day I had the slightest of a skin scab where the blister was then gone my dose was 1/8 teaspoon on a piece of buttered toast twice a day the tingling cold sore stopped tingling within a few hours... BTH is used for the preservation of food stuffs and other more exotic things. Let me know if you try it and if it works for you please.
