Hi maybe I'm not doing this right, I have organic acv,,and was taking 2 teaspoons alone before meals, didn't lose weight. But I don't do it faithfully. My question is this ??? there's a few recipes here, what's the best most effective one? Is it best to make a large amount, like a quart and 1 cup of acv and drink throughout the day or to take 1/2 acv in 1/2 cup, and is honey necessary or just for taste? PLEASE HELP ME HERE. I WANT TO TRY IT FAITHFULLY AND SEE RESULTS LIKE YOU ALL DID.. WHAT SHOULD I DO, WANT TO LOSE THE 20 LBS I GAINED,,,, AS FAST AS POSSIBE. THANKS

ACV for weight loss: I have been drinking apple cider vinegar (1/2 cup in quart water and honey) for a fortnight now. I am 47 and would like to shift 3 or 4 pounds. Nothing has happened, not an ounce of difference. I am watching what I eat, have cut out carbonated drinks and am exercising (zen chi machine). Sorry folks, not a success story but I have acquired a taste for ACV and honey.

I notice that many of the naysayers are drinking their ACV with HONEY and I'm wondering if this SUGAR is keeping them from losing the weight due to SUGAR'S deleterious affect on glucose utilization for some people. Most people think sugars such as honey and even pure maple syrup are okay because they're natural sugars. The first time I tried the acv with 1 tsp of honey I got extremely dizzy - way too much sugar. I would suggust that those who use honey with ACV, and show no weight loss, stop using it.

I tried ACV, 2 Tbl in juice, plus 1 Tbl honey. I did this 3X a day. I did it for a whole month. It didn't help allergies, overall energy or weight loss. It also did nothing for my kids' health. It may have improved my complexion. I do use it externally on my face as well, and that does seem to help some. It may help keep me somewhat healthier as far as communicable diseases go. I haven't caught the kids' myriad colds, flu, etc. But that may be due to echinacea, oil pulling, cold showers, or healthier eating!

fatigue--I struggle daily with lupus and fibromyalgia. Both these things come with a host of problems--IBS, migraines, fatigue, UTI, blah, blah, blah. One of my biggest problems is weight gain (every time I'm on antibiotics I gain and losing it is like climbing Everest). I can take no pain medications because of allergies and nothing for lupus because my liver is not healthy (though I'm not a drinker). I also stay sick to my stomach. Wake up sick every day. Just before Thanksgiving, I started drinking vinegar at night before bed (I've tried all kinds of diets and supplements but thought something had to work). I was only having one dose (tastes good to me), lost five pounds, felt like a real person. and wasn't sick. I got a UTI but the pain was minimal (the dr. said the acid was helping to kill the bacteria). I gained no weight taking the meds or over Christmas. Forgot to buy more and after three days feel absolutely awful. Now I know to increase my intake and I have hope. Thank you.

I did "the cleanse" lemonade: ACV, lemons, maple syrup, Cayenne Pepper. I did lose weight, about 5-7 lbs. I believe it was a combination of not eating and the ACV lemonade. I am really watching what I eat and have started to exercise to maintain the weight loss. Although it was "very" difficult the first three days, it was a good jump start before the holidays. I would not advise this for anyone with a health problem unless you are use to fasting.

I started taking Apple cider vinegar after seeing all the wonderful feedback on your site. But it didn't work for me. Instead of losing the few unwanted pounds, I think I have gained 5 lbs over the past few days despite having more of fruits and vegetables. I have been taking 2 tsps of it 3 times everyday an hour before food. But I have not experienced any of the benefits listed. Maybe its not for .me. Good luck to all the others out there.

Hey, was just wondering what 'recipe' of ACV you used to get your results? Like how much ACV per water and how many times a day! Thanks so much!

I started taking 4tbls. of acv with 1/4 cup of o.j. before meals and have felt less hungry. My clothes fit better and my family has noticed that I have lost weight. They also have begun doing the diet. Does anybody know of any hazards to taking acv?

i have a problem of irregular periods and due that my weight is increasing, i suffer from acidity also. but after drinking it for regular 5-6 days with 2 spoons of ACV in warm water and 3 times a day, there is no effect. But in fact my acidity became severe. i just want to know was it the wrong dose i was taking, has it really worked for weight loss, if yes then why not for me. I really need some good suggestions.

cider vinegar and honey was very helpful with arthritis. I think this is helping after only a month, BUT I have put on 6 lbs. I have been on holiday eating pasta but don't generally put on weight. Is it likely this is caused by the cider vinegar treatment?

I have been on this site. sounds wonderful that people are losing weight, so i also tried it but i had no success in it. Do you have to have a low-fat diet when taking the Apple Cider vinegar to work, and is it before meals or after. Thanks Great Site keep it up!

As far as the fat burning (weight loss) properties ACV supposedly has, I must say yet again it falls well short of expectations. Having been a personal trainer now for about 10 years, I carefully monitored my weight and body fat percentage during the intake of this remedy. After checking both before, during, and after the intake of this remedy, I can say without question that it has no fat-burning properties whatsoever. If anyone had experienced weight-loss from this product, it was merely that they were filling up on this calorie-free liquid rather than other things they'd be eating at the time. However, it has no fat-burning properties whatsoever.

Apple Cider Vinegar is curing my appetite for fatty foods. It's helping with my appetite so I eat smaller meals and am not hungry at all. I am losing weight. That's what I wanted along with exercising. I have diabetes so I am experiencing lower blood levels when I test my blood sugars. My girl-friend lost 10 lbs already within one month's time.

I too tried the ACV and have been using it for the past nine days. I use the tablets and not the liquid. I usually forget to take them during the day, but I am faithful about taking them at night and first thing in the morning. I can't believe the difference!! I honestly feel more "right." It sounds strange to say that, I know. I have energy, I'm alert, and I sleep better at night. I have lost nine inches in nine days without trying. That isn't to say everyone should run out and take ACV for quick weight loss. The focus should be on a proper diet, plenty of water and exercise. I truly believe the ACV does help to digest food properly. The difference is amazing. It's such a simple thing, but it really works.

I love ACV! More energy, and I just FEEL better. At first the taste was awful, but now I've gotten used to it. I haven't officially checked by means of a scale, but I feel like I have been losing weight. Everyone should try ACV!

After discovering this website and reading all the benefits that Apple Cider Vinegar has. I've been taken apple cider vinegar for about 3 weeks now (3 tbls. with 8 ounces of water three times a day) and I have noticed that it has kept my sugar and my blood pressure in normal ranges, it has also lowered my body fat percentage, I'm losing weight and it has also cured my sore throat and I feel more energetic. I love your website. Keep up the good work.
