Last nite I cut my foot on a nail sticking out of my carpet and came straight to this website. The cayenne had lots of Yeas so it caught my attention. I cleaned the wound which was bleeding profusely with some ACV, but it still bled. So I figured why not? Stuck some cayenne and it worked like styptic powder to stop the bleeding. It was impressive to watch and I was surprised that it did not hurt/burn like I expected. It stings a bit, but very tolerable. My only mistake was removing it too early. I would say make sure you keep it on even after the bleeding stops and bandage it.

My Mother was up for a bypass about 20 years ago. She's been taking cayenne pepper for years, and she swears it's kept her alive this whole time. She has hardening of the arteries, aswell. You can use EXTRA hot or african bird pepper too, although it may kill your stomach you need to take milk or cheese with it, to coat your stomach. She eats alot of dairy and butter in her diet, and she doesn't have the healthiest diet in the world but the cayenne pepper has done wonders for her.

I just wanted to comment that I know a great way of getting the cayenne down; pour it on cottage cheese. It goes down very easily with very little burn at all! I also add chopped eggs to it sometimes just to oomph it up a bit. I guess you could also chase it with water since this seems to be the rule here.

Cayenne pepper effects on heart racing and arrythmia...

I have been using cayenne pepper for several months for racing heart and arrythmia. Within less than a minute my heart is back to normal!! I use 1/2 teaspoon in warm water, less than a cup, one teaspoon in 8oz is recommended, but I get the results from 1/2 tsp., also I use cayenne pepper liberally on most of my food, like salads, baked potato, omlets, etc.. I have tried MANY natural cures, but never had one work so fast. The Phamaceutical companies will probably try to get this miracle cure declared illegal! If people could try it, doctors and drugs would lose billions! I don't mind the heat at all for the results I get. It IS a good idea to have some food in your stomach, though. Wonderful site, Earth Clinic!!

Mood Enhancer

I was feeling down and a little depressed. I was eating lunch, and put a little too much cayenne pepper on my lasagne (more than usual). After about 5 minutes, I was feeling so much better ! My depression just seem to "go away" and I had a jolt of sustained energy. By the way, I was drinking orange juice at the time. It is said that the folic acid in orange juice will enhance any mood enhancing (anti-depressant) substance. I definitely will be eating more cayenne pepper.

I had a horrible sore throat and read on EC about using cayenne pepper. I actually had some of the full peppers. I got of cup of water, 3 chicken boullion cubes, and a couple of the peppers and heated it up in the microwave and drank this. It gave me immediate relief. Tasted like chicken soup (HOT!!) It did burn a little but a soothing kind of burn. I have told everybody about this. I know you can use Hot sauce, but I wanted to use the pepper pods. Thanks to EC and everyone that is trying to use herbal, natural remedies.

To: Better But Not Cured (and I'll add...yet!)

I'm not sure if this will help but I notice that when I use a Netti Pot with Sea Salt (must be sea salt, not regular salt) for my sinuses it opens up my ears as well. Also, at this site for cancer: http://www.curenaturalicancro.com/ one person wrote: "I've got a lump about the size of a quarter in the back of my neck. It's been there 2 years. It seems to be located at the bottom of my ear canal. I've been putting sodium bicarbonate mixed with water down my ear canal for a few days and the lump is shrinking. The doctors I went to wanted to cut it out and biopsy it. I said no thank you, I don't want it to spread. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work. S. M." I've learned that are bodies need to be the proper pH. Perhaps this will help you. Good luck. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful benefits of cayenne that I'm just learning about. :)

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Cayenne Pepper Information Needed: I have been drinking a tonic of 2 tsp raw acv and 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper in 16oz of water and sipping throughout the day. It is fabulous. I am 65 (almost 66) and it really revs up gives my metabolism and mental focus. The only problem I have is that it slightly burns my throat after about 8 oz. I always swish with plain water after sipping to protect my tooth enamel and then swallow. This cools my throat somewhat. Is there a problem with it burning? I don't really mind it as I love the increase in the body and mind. But, is there a potential problem? Am I doing damage to my throat?

Cayenne Pepper is the man!!!!!!!!! I love it. I drink it as a tea on a daily basis. When I have sore throat, I mixed it with H2O2 and salt and gargle with it. It kills anything that is not supposed to be there. I've got so used to it that I can actually placed it on my tongue and swallow it like candy powder. ( Don't try this with large amounts at first, you'll get a good burn) It is awesome.

Twice a day I drink oj with pulp with 1 tbsp of acv and 1 tsp of powdered ginger (makes me feel and look great!)- I use straw so my mouth is not burnt at all - I feel it only at the back of it. Yesterday I got cayenne pepper (to increase my circulation) and came here to find hows and how much. Thanks to your post I decided just to add it to my drink! Half teaspoon, in the begining anyway.

Cayenne Tamed Symptoms from Inner Ear Infection:

I have been suffering with an inner ear infection/disorder for the past six months - vestibular neuritis - and if you've ever had to deal with this or viral labyrinthitis then u know it is incredibly debilitating. I have brain fog, vertigo (my sense of movement/motion feels like I'm walking on a rocking boat all day), joint/muscle/nerve pain, weakened vision....and the list goes on. About 3 months ago, I started noticing how my heart was racing and that sometimes I'd experience this incredible head pressure (it felt like someone put a vice on my head!) - when I took my BP - my reading was 145/96! I'm only 30 and my pressure has never been this high. Well, I happened upon earthclinic one night and was amazed by all the testimonies from people praising how cayenne helped lower their pressure. Seeing as I've been trying everything under the clear blue sky to not only get rid of this devilish infection but bring my pressure back to normal - I tried the recommendation of 1 teaspoon to a cup of hot water. Not knowing if it'd work - I was floored when I realized how immediate it did!! The head pressure went away almost instantly and my heart rate normalized! Before cayenne - BPM was 91 - after: BPM 73!! I will never stop this remedy!

Other benefits from drinking it initially at 2x/day - regular bowel movements, reduction in joint/muscle pain, ear congestion went away, vision got better (only slightly) and lymph node under my right jaw (right ear is infected) began to slowly shrink. Granted I take a lot of antioxidants so I don't know if the synergistic effect plays a role. Only thing now is - the infection is still there - I still suffer w/ the vertigo and am mainly managing my symptoms until I can get more conclusive answers. Last Ear doc I went to told me there was nothing he could do for me. How depressing.....any advice on how to get rid of this "thing"? A co-worker recommended colloidal silver. If I could just get my balance back........I'd be ecstatic!! Your thoughts are appreciated! Great site this is! :0)

In order to avoid severe coughing while gargling with cayenne pepper (red pepper) in tempered water you need to breath deeply, hold your breath, take a sip of cayenne pepper, gargle, spit the mix and breath normal.

Gargling this way you avoid breathing through your mouth when you are sipping the mix and the dry cayenne powder doesn't get into your through.

Also, when the throat and larynx are irritated it is better not to swallow a lot of the mix so just swallow what is left in your spit after spitting the mix. It has worked wonderfully for me!

One week before I turned 40 I became very ill- flue like symptoms. Docter told me I had prostrate problems. Since then, urinating wasn't what it use to be! 2 years ago I met this friend who only took natural medicines, and she recommended Cayenne Pepper. I've been taking it in powder form -3x per day with luke warm water- and I can honestly say i pee like a 30 year old!

God Created Cayenne Pepper for our health, along with other herbs. I have been an avid user of CP for 20 years. I make my own tincture of 2 oz. cayenne pepper powder and one pint vodka. Mix on new moon and keep covered for 14 days. invert bottle twice a day to mix. Strain through cheese cloth. Keep in a dark glass bottle or out of direct light. Will keep for evvvver, it seems.

I put tincture on an incision after bladder surgery in 1995. I applied once daily with a Q tip. When I went to get my stitches removed 10 days later, the Dr. was astonished to see how well I healed. I have NO SCAR at all. He said he had NEVER seen anyone heal that well or fast.

I used to be a dog handler and have been bitten on my hands several times, some very deep and to the bone. You will find no scars, tho some of the bites were evtremely severe. I never had stitches once or even went to a Doctor for the bites.I let the wound bleed and did not wash it. The bleeding was the cleanser of the wound. I then applied cayenne powder directly to the open wound and held it in place with a butterfly tape or two. Bleeding stopped instantly, with absolutely no burning sensation. AND no scarring. Healed each time in days.

I firmly believe that all military should and must carry a supply of CP in their first aid kits. It would save many many lives due to traumatic open wounds of all kinds. Cayenne pepper should be administered both topically and internally, if possible, in severe bleeding cases. Internally will almost always prevent shockin those cases.

A tea of 1 tsp CP and a cup of hot water 3 times daily prevented a friend from having to undergo a second baloon surgery for his heart. His Drs. did not believe his "cure" but him and I know what cured him.

I bought Cayenne Pepper because I read in a health magizene that peppers when heating up the body, will help the body to burn fat. So I thought i'd try it. I took 3 capsules of it.

Now, I was tired because I didn't get any sleep that day, but after the pepper started to digest, I noticed my energy levels went up. I felt clean inside, like I washed myself out with a hose. On the drive to work tonight, I noticed my night vision was clearer, my brain was more alert, though I was tired and my sight, to brain, to react responces were more alert and quick I actually suprised myself.

I can only contribute this to the pepper as it never happened before, and the day I take the pepper, BAM! I feel clean, full of energy, life, I feel good, my mental mood is good, as if the pepper blocks bad emotions.

When flossing my teeth, I noticed my body was numb, as if I had taken pain killers. I didn't take any medications, just the pepper, and some zinc. And it felt like I was on some serious asprin or something. I've only been using on it for less then 12 hours now and I can see a serious difference in my body for the better. I can't wait to see what this wonder plant has in store for me.

Neutropenia

Dear All,

Most of us only believe something if it's happened to us or we 'saw' it with our own eyes. Cayenne Pepper helps me with my neutropenia condition (low white cell count) in that, it doesn't raise the count but keeps bacteria away and stops food bacteria from making me sick. I got those empty gel capsules from most health shops and shake a small amount in a dish and then fill about 1/2 the capsule with it and then close capsule and swallow with juice. Always after eating a meal, and it never burns and stops your food bacteria in it's tracks if you have been out for a meal and come home and your tummy is churning and you know whats going to happen!! Take a capsule as above and it won't get to the vomit stage if you take within 1/2 hour of feeling unwell. Only make as you need not storing them. Keep cayenne in it's packet till you need to make up a capsule.(Caps size vary, get small ones).

Also my husband cut himself deep on his hand and was bleeding bad, I said "at last we can see if that cayenne works"!

Wow we covered it and it was all red and like a crust, left it on for about 1/2 hour then cleaned and re-applied then covered with bandaid and within a few weeks he just has a thin line like a faint scratch. I swear by cayenne but even that amazed me, he said it didn't hurt but just felt warm.

Famous saying: Above many graves grow the herbs that could have cured those that lay below them.

How true.

Cayenne: I just found your site and am responding to a message from 2006 about cayenne for the sinus. I have chronic sinus problems, it got so bad once that I was desperate. I usually put 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a large glass of warm water and snuff it up my nose. Well, I added a pinch of cayenne to the saline. I snuffed it up my nose, and it burned for about two seconds, then the burning quickly subsided. Yes, it stopped what I suppose was a sinus infection. Any way I felt better for a long time. Gary
