Why is it that when I search for an adult remedy all that comes up is childs? Really really annoying.

EC: Hi Michael, sorry you are having a problem searching on Earth Clinic. Are you searching with a desktop computer or a mobile device? Please let us know and we'll have the programmers look into it. If you can also provide the phrase you are searching, we'd appreciate it.

Anyone experiencing this issue? We have mostly adult remedies on EC, so this shouldn't be the case.

This has worked for me. 1-2 Tablespoons in a bit of water, morning and evening, or as needed. What I found was that after a while, it had a reverse effect, so I discontinued using it for several months. When the HF became severe again, I gave up and tried it again. IT WORKED... AGAIN. SO, my theory is that you have to listen to your body. Take as much as you need to minimize or eliminate the HF, and then discontinue if they come raging back after being cured for a while. Keep a diary/log of what you take and when, and LISTEN to your body. It's your best teacher. To your health!!! :)

EC: Hello, can you please provide the remedy name and ailment? Thank you!

I preferred your old web layout. Sometimes an ailment could be mentoned under another title which was easy to spot. Not anymore :(

EC: Thank you, Lucienne. Yes, we are working on that issue.

I liked your other format for looking things up much better. I also don't like the fact that you leave the dates out of posts.

EC: Thanks for the feedback. Please continue to send comments and critiques. Our new mobile site is a giant work in progress!

Mobile users, welcome to the new mobile version of Earth Clinic! If you are accessing EC from a smartphone, you should see our new mobile layout automatically. It's a big change, but we think the new mobile-only design will offer you a much more readable, easy-to-access experience.

Please note, tablet users will still see the desktop site design (and nothing is changing for those of you who access our website via your computer).

For those of you checking out the new smartphone website, please let us know what you think!

When I login to EC I read a little, run around doing housework, reply to some, go to the bathroom or just walk around I have to keep signing in because I get logged out. How can I stay logged in?

EC: Hi Kathy, we have requested our programmers take a look at this issue. However, we are soon to launch the mobile version of Earth Clinic so they might not have time to look into it for another week or two.

Hi, Is there a section on EC that lists brand names which have been endorsed by many readers? I believe there was talk of this in the past. It would be helpful to know, for example, if there is a glycerin-sulfate-flouride free toothpaste that works, skin care products, etc. Thank you, Sue

EC: Hi Sue, we have a "Best" page, where we allow frequent contributors to post their favorite supplements and remedies: https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/best.html

I have read the Guidelines and Tips two more times but do not see the explanation for the icon next to some posts. Maybe it's worded in a way I don't understand but I notice some posts have a small square with a plus sign in it. Kindly tell me what this means. I am sorry I don't understand. :(

EC: Hi Kathy, the + icon you are referring to only appears on the Latest Posts section -- Latest Posts, Latest Pets, and Latest Questions & Answers. Clicking on the + icon opens the thread and the - icon closes a thread, revealing what we call "parent" and "child" posts, i.e., the initial post and all the responses that follow. We have this feature on the Latest Posts section so readers don't have to click through to inside pages in order to read the whole sequence of posts. Hope this helps!

Hi earth clinic, I am a huge fan of this site. It is my Go To place for any kind of info I might need. I have one request. I would like to see a favorites section for just the individual that wishes to save certain information. Several times I have wanted to save something to refer back later but can't locate where I was at the time. It can take quite a while to go through different categories. Thank you.

EC: Hi Bev, Thanks so much for your message! Happily, I think we have the solution you need.

I take it you aren't a registered member of the website? Most people aren't, but there are some real benefits. The best one is the ability to "Watch Posts". If you become a registered member of Earth Clinic, you will see a little eyeball below all of our threaded conversations on the site. Anything you would like to keep track of, you can simply click that eye and it will be recorded in your account. You can also receive email notification anytime someone sends a new response to that post, if you like.

It sounds like that's what you were looking, for, no? I hope so!

This site needs to encourage less use of abreviations of ailments, supplements, etc. without at least once fully indicating the word. Many of us have no idea what certain abeviations stand for in postings.

Hello: How do I quickly find posts on any subject written only by Ted? I am only interested in Ted's responses. Thank you.

EC: Ted's most recent answers can be found on our Latest Questions page: https://www.earthclinic.com/latest_questions.html. He doesn't post regularly, so do check this section from time to time. Otherwise, you can check the Table of Contents on every page for "Ted's Remedies" and the tab at the top of the Table of Contents called "Questions & Answers".

I still haven't learned to navigate well on this site but I am looking for a reply from "Jennifer" who asked about my gelatin capsule posting. She asked a question on 3/16 and I replied to her the next day and then to "Deidre" but cannot locate a reply from them and don't know if they read my reply. I don't know if they replied and it is posted somewhere else but I feel it is important to get my answer to them. I noticed the "eye" to watch for any posting is not available after some. One person who replied to me long ago expressed how she could not find all of her postings after she left them. I guess it takes awhile to learn how to navigate here and I am still confused. Please direct me to where I may get better informed. Thanks for your patience! Kathy

EC: Hi Kathy, you must be logged into your account in order to watch a post via the "eye" icon. If you are not logged in, you will not see the "eye" icon or the "flag this post as inappropriate" icon. All of your posts are saved in the "My Feedback" section of your account. Each post is linked to a page on Earth Clinic, so you can click through and read responses to your posts.
