I notice that people post information on your site and other people ask them for clarification and get no answers most of the time. I am wondering if you could incorporate a way to let the original poster know someone has responded to their comments, so they can get back to the website and answer the question. I know it's possible because this option is available on other websites.

I feel bad for everyone going unheard, but if the original poster doesn't know someone responded, they can't help. People don't just keep checking to see if someone has responded to their original post.

Thanks for listening. I love Earth Clinic and refer people to it all the time. Thanks.

EC: Hi Rita, thanks for the great feedback and ideas. For the past few years, if you have an Earth Clinic account, you have the option to be notified when someone responds to a post. We can make this automatic. However, many contributors choose not include an email address when they submit a post, so we have no way notifying them. We'll talk to the programmer about an automatic notification. It's a great idea!

Hi everyone!

After months and months of careful planning, we're excited to announce that Earth Clinic is now a responsive site! This means it will automatically resize according to the screen you are viewing it on. Mobile users will no longer be directed to a smaller mobile site.

Because our programmer and designer changed a lot of the files, please make sure your browser is loading the newest files on Earth Clinic by doing the following. This can often help with pages that aren't displaying correctly:

Windows: click ctrl + F5 at the same time
Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
Linux: F5

One of the first things you'll notice on your desktop computer is that the width of the site has increased quite a bit!

WOW have I been wrong? I was certain I read two TBSP ACV to sixteen oz. of water somewhere here on EC. I've been using the ACV with the mother...the brand begins with an "H". Am I allowed to give the name now? I've been here almost two years. PLEASE ADVISE

Thanks so much.

EC: Hi Kt, Our revision to this remedy is as follows:

2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar
16 ounces of water
Sip, don't chug!

We now suggest 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in 16 ounces of water that you'll sip throughout the day, rather than drinking the whole concoction at once 3 times a day. You will be keeping your pH in a constant, alkalized state by sipping this highly diluted dosage. Usually one tall glass of the concoction is all you'll need each day.

All is not lost. If the "ingredient" or "remedy" is sold as a product like nutritional supplement, there are proper or recommended doses labeled and usually to take w/ or without food. If remedy is raw form you can still find recommended quantities easily on the internet; many natural (educational or retail) medicine websites.

The login blank is changed. I never trusted this format but cannot bring up the former that I always signed in on. It used to be a drop-down blank on the right side of the page. Now it is on the left side and does not drop down. Please advise.

EC: Hi KT, please click on the words "LOGIN" at the top and it will work. We'll have the programmer remove the little red arrow so it's not confusing. We removed the drop down box and turned it into a simple link that takes you to a secure login page.

I don't know where to look to find Teds remedies all in one place. Is there such a spot? And Bill's as well would be really helpful!!! Thank you. Mary

EC: Hi Mary! Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, having all of Ted's remedies in one place would be a great idea. Same with Bill's remedies. What we have started to do is create sub-pages within the ailments sections. So if you click on Ted's Remedies on the Degenerative Disc Disease page, it will now take you to a new page called: https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/teds-remedies-for-degnerative-disc-disease.html. We'll also start to move Ted's responses in the Q&A section onto the new sub-pages too. Then once we have a few more of these pages done, we can create a new index page for Ted with a list of all the links. However, we have some urgent matters that take precedence at the moment (like making the web site mobile responsive), so it will take time to get Ted's project done.

To Deborah,

Riverview Florida...

Deborah...you are fantastic. Just to be mentioned in the same sentence as the brilliant Bill (Thompson) and Ted...my goodness. You made my YEAR.

The truth is; I sit at the feet of Ted and Bill and six or seven others that regularly write on EC. You know, like you, I love reading EC because I learn so much. This site prompts me to study; to read and ask questions...I love when people cite a good web site and I find myself going to those sites and reading in areas I never might have seen. I read the one you posted. Quite fascinating.

I do love to read what people around the world are doing by way of "folk remedies." Earth Clinic is a blessing to the world.

Bless you again, Deborah. Really. This has been a hard week. A hard year. Your kind words are so much appreciated.

Dave, Bill, Ted, and all of you, I love you for helping me.

You are all such wonderful people for helping people. I have learned so much from you. I've known for a long time when Doctors are taught by drug companies, you won't get well, just need more drugs for the side effects.

I saw something today and now I understand why we need the GMO food, the FDA is making GMO people! Yes! So after they kill all of us, Monsanto will sell their GMO food to the GMO people. http://www.anh-usa.org/now-a-living-gmo-organism-with-artificial-dna/

I remember reading a post from EC staff that said EC was trying to make submitting a remedy more obvious because some people have trouble figuring out how. Why not just put a button next to the ailment title? For example, if I wanted to submit a remedy for women's hair loss, then right next to the bolded title, there could be a button that says something like "submit a remedy." Then when clicking on the button, it would automatically fill the subject with "Hair Loss in Women." Then there could be another box or menu to input the specific remedy, and you could keep the drop-down menu for user rating as well as the message box.

I was just thinking that this would be a more convenient way of doing things, so I hope you take my thoughts into consideration. I know there have been several remedies that I just haven't got around to submitting, and I probably would have already submitted them had the submission method been a little more in-your-face! I hope this helps.

EC: Another fantastic request, thank you Misty! Yes, we are trying to improve user experience every day. Not everything we do works, but we're willing to try. After 15 years, Earth Clinic has so much information, it's rather overwhelming for people who are new to the site. Thanks again and have a wonderful holiday weekend!

It would be really cool if you could put the number of yeas vs nays (or a green & red bar) right next to the remedies in the table of contents so that I don't have to scroll down and read every individual remedy. For some of the popular ailments, it takes way too much time going through all the remedies to even get to them all!

EC: Hi Misty, What a fantastic idea, thank you so much!! We'll add it to our programmer's "to do" list and see how it turns out.

I can't see where to add a new post either.

EC: We were calling it "Contact" on the navigation bar, but we just changed the wording to "Add New Post". Hopefully that will help!

I have been going to this site (? at least I think it was this site) for many years. No registering was ever needed. Where are the sharings of everyday folks about their health ailments and solutions? Must I now pay? Will you be sending emails if I register? Thanks for your attention. AH

EC: Hi AH, no you don't need to sign up in order to submit a post. Everything is still free and located in the same place. We did just refresh our web design, which was long overdue! You can sign up for a free account if you wish to save certain posts or submit posts faster. You can also sign up to receive newsletters, which is the only time you will receive emails from us.

Hello,

Today I have been trying to access links and I get error 404 - page not found. eg https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/supplements-for-adrenal-fatigue.html

EC: Hi Linda, sorry about that! We fixed the link so it redirects to the right page.

Hi!

I tried control plus F5. Then I signed in. I was not able to reply to this post. (Received the same error.)

I signed out and was able to fill in the blanks manually. If this comes through, it means that I was able to post by filling in the blanks manually, while not signed in.

Thanks!

I'm trying to post a reply, but the screen keeps reloading, saying I need to fix the errors (fill in Location); but my location is already filled in and correct. This does not occur when posting a fresh post of my own, only happens when replying to someone else.

EC: Thank you so much for letting us know. Mama to Many was having the same issue.

Our programmer just told us he fixed the issue. Can you both try again and see if you are having the same issue?

If you want to make sure your browser is loading the newest files on Earth Clinic (which we are constantly updating), please do the following to reload your browser. This can often help with pages that aren't displaying correctly:

Windows: ctrl + F5
Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R

Hi Everyone!

We're very excited to let you know that our talented programmer, Tomer, has just redesigned our ailments index list A-Z for desktop computers so you can now see the total number of posts per ailment and the number of cures reported. We think it's a major improvement and hope you will too!

Here it is: https://www.earthclinic.com/ailments.html.

Sorry, mobile viewers won't see this unless they switch to the desktop view. We're working on that!

Simply click on the Submit Post link at the top or the Contact Us button. All posts use the same form.

Website Not Working Properly. I cannot access A - Z ailments. Cannot access remedies.

EC: Hi Anne,

Yes we are getting a few complaints that people are being blocked from accessing Earth Clinic. Can you please try clearing your history/cache and trying again? Hopefully this will work.

If anyone else is having this issue, please let us know what browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc). This might help us pinpoint what's causing the problem. Thank you so much!

About Ted

We need Ted back, what can we do to help?

EC: Hi Viperron, Ted is back but he's extremely busy treating clients in a clinic in Thailand and we don't hear much from him. He answers a few questions each month, but that's about it.
