Wounds

★☆☆☆☆
Please do not advise hydrogen peroxide for wound care. I am a wound care registered nurse and highly advise against using it for this reason. It is drying to the wound and delays wound healing. Wounds need a balance of moisture to heal.

Hello I was wanting to know if HP still has positive effects on the body if you put seven drops into a gallon of distilled water? Reason Im asking is because the doctors have said my mother is not getting enough oxygen to her heart. She's too lazy to do the drops three times a day and watch out when she eats. She wants everything easy and wants people to take care of her. Shes 55. Would it still make her sick if she has food in her stomach? Can you add more than seven drops? Possibly add ACV to it too for flavor? I appreciate any advice. I love my mom I already know how she is. She likes to be difficult. Thanks!

Hi Crissy, I'm putting 10 drops of 35% HP on 1.5L of water. And slowly sip on it the whole day before. Since I'm a bit lazy myself and don't want to wake up early. Lol. So, what I'm doing now is I put 10 drops into an 8oz container at night before bed and keep the stuff beside me at night. When I wake up around 5am to relieve myself, that is when I take it and I go back to bed. For the rest of the day, I bring along a concoction of ACV BS BSM fulvic acid with me to sip the whole day. I believe that would make it easier for me to manage. My mom also drinks 10drops of HP every morning, once a day and it seems to have a positive effect on her. Hope that helps.

Hi I'm Crissy ,
I'm on the fifteen drops of hp. I have no known illness I'm just tired all the time. I started taking hp to prove to my ill mother that it would not kill her. Lol! She has heart problems, anemia and diabetes. Is there a special way she should take hp? Since she's on meds. I take my doses at 5am, go back to sleep, wake up at 8am take another dose and eat at nine. Three hours later I take my final dose. Is there problem with not eating in-between doses? I also have not gotten this energy everyones talking about. I had also seen on another sight that I needed to start taking vitamin E and that ingredient that's in yogurt (sorry cant remember at the moment). So I've been eating yogurt 2x a day and taking the vitamin. I've also been drinking allot of water, avoiding caffeine, and eating healthier. Any advice? I'm using distilled water. Thanks for your time!

Just a update I'm also noticing my skin seems pale. I can see the blue veins in my feet and pelvic area. Is this normal? I an now noticing some energy mentally. I also would like to know if any one has ever dosed a child before? Obviously I believe they would be smaller doses. My four year old had a benign tumor removed from the left side of his brain when he was three. There is a small piece left. The chances of it growing back are small. He's on anti-seizure medication, which I would like him to be off of. I was thinking to give the rest of my family the inhalation type of hp. Thanks for your time, hope to hear from someone soon.

I bought a pint sized bottle of 35%. I put that in an empty gallon jug and added 3 pints of distilled water to it. I then poured the rest of the left over distilled water in to which made it a whole gallon. I take 1 teaspoon of that mixture and put it in a gallon of distilled water and drink a glass whenever I am thirsty throughout the day. Do you think this is the right recipe? Also if I wanted to add the baking soda how much would I add? Would I add the baking soda into my jug I am using throughout the day?

Tonight I started looking for a reason why my local drug stores had no inventory of hydrogen peroxide. Both are major drugist suppliers in a large metro region; between both, there was 1 bottle.
In my search, the following web page came up. You may want to share the article with your readership'

So, I've read that hydrogen peroxide should be taken no sooner than three hours after eating and one hour before eating.
I'm curious how closely people follow this advice and if they've noticed a difference in when they take it in relation to when they eat their food? I'm trying to take HP three times a day, but it is rather difficult. I'm hardly pigging out all day, but I'm not really planning my day around hydrogen peroxide consumption, either.

H2O2 and Medications

I am thinking about starting H2O2 therapy. I do not have any major health issues; however, I do have high cholesterol. I have to take Lipitor 10mg. I tried to change my diet and still my cholesterol goes up if I stop taking Lipitor. I do not want to stay on medication for whole life (at least that is the motivation for me to go through H2O2 therapy)
I purchased 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, and also downloaded some instruction on dosage and process for the therapy.
My questions:
1) Do I still continue to take Lipitor while I am on cleansing process of therapy?
2) Do I continue to take other supplements like Slow release Niacin, multi vitamins, Omega-3 etc, while I am on cleansing process of therapy and after?
3) What is the effect on heart? Do I continue with regular workout? And if yes, do I have to wait for any time before or after drinking water with H2O2?
Thanks.

Can you both post more details. There should be no reason you cannot take H2O2, you really should be looking at Vitamin C, L-Lysine though for your Heart Disease.

i had a hip replment (titainium) 6 weeks ago. I also have neuropathic pain, fybromyalgia, arthritis(osteo) I am also on oxycodoene slow release(which give me terrible calf pains,) and oynorm instantainious release. I am also taking alpha lipolic acid, 300 mg's 2 times a day b1(belmofontaine) 2 times a day, organic cracked wall chorella, 5 tabs 2 times a day, and a organic vit and mineral with food and subtilingual b12. I drink distilled water, eat organic produce, was also taking b100 complex, but stopped as the amount of methyl colbamaine(vit b 12) would have been too high. The pain meds give me constipation and annal fissures, haemeroids, and splits up my butt crack. The doc gave me latoloose for the constipation and cream and suppositories for fissures and piles but the pain when I open my bowels and bleeding is agony! I also have asthma and want to try nebulising the food grade h202 in distilled water, but am freaked out that the meds, and supplements may be too much, and the h202 may effect my hip replacement! I also have thrush, but don't want to use a fungicide on top of every thing else! I'M also worried that I may be doing more harm than good taking all the other stuff. Please can Ted or anyone help me out? thanks x x x

I wonder if you or any of your readers know if food grain hydrogen peroxide will interfere with any medications for diabetics. My husband is diabetic and takes metformin and actos and now recently started taking food grain hydrogen peroxide. Will that affect his diabetic medication?

Although this is quite a bit out of date, I will respond for the benefit of others.
It seems that HP can help regulate blood sugar levels, so for those on oral medication it may help to make the medication more effective, reduce the level of the dose or even remove the need for it completely.
Just keep monitoring the blood sugar levels, eat generally low-carb for good health anyway, and you might over time just find that you are no longer classed as diabetic!

Hi Ted,
I have read a lot on Earth Clinic about Hydrogen peroxide and am keen to use it as a detox for my system, however I take Dexamphetamine which is prescribed by my doctor for ADHD. I want to know if this will cause a problem for me if I start to do detoxing or alkalizing my system? Do you have any suggestions for me? I have been dropping weight rapidly and have had low blood pressure with dizzy spells. I also have been having random bouts of diarrhoea which I'm told is just my way of handling the medication.
Regards, Pet

Hello: Since hearing about H202 therapy, I have been unable to learn what must be monitored while taking the therapy--separating fact from hype (or fear mongering by the pharmaceutical industries).
For example, one source suggested that there is a well-known though uncommon potential risk of this treatment called "hemolysis, " the destruction of red blood cells that can lead to potentially life-threatening anemia. " Therefore, the report states that a patient's hemoglobin and hematocrit values should be taken before and during treatment.
In any event, if there are real downsides, I'd like to know what they are.

Espirit..... I took hydrogen peroxide food grade for 4 months. I diluted 35 per cent food grade into 175ml of water, 3 to 4 drops once a day.. In the morning only... It worked out to be 0. 04 strength... At the start I was feeling energetic but in the 4th month my immune system virtually shut down... I got a really bad viral infection that had me coughing.... Phlegm.. Etc... I have had this infection for more than 3 months and only now my cough has just started to subside... But still bringing up phlegm..... I have never had such a bad viral infection in my life and I am certain the HP lowered my immune system..... Trust me... I purchased many books and read them all on HP and thought this would be beneficial to me..... Unfortunately it wasn't..... I believe now it definitely lowers your immune system and causes free radicals...... I just hope I have not done permanent damage to my body....
