General Feedback
Posted by Jim (Cypress, Tx) on 10/22/2012

I would like feedback on what viewers consider the 3-4 most important daily natural routines they are doing. I am currently oil pulling with sunflower oil in the morning. I follow with 2 teaspoonfuls of in the mother ACV with 4 oz. of Aloe Vera. I cook with and add coconut oil on bread and just ingest some throughout the day. All this is used as a preventative. Any help on routines with quantities would be most appreciated.

I was just diagnosed with a hiatal hernia, acid reflux and gastritis. Waiting on biopsy results. Saw on this site the Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda regimen to use for acid reflux and I want to try it but I will be starting Aciphex tonight. Can I do the regimen WITH being on the meds?

Apple Cider Vinegar and Medication
Posted by Sunny (Sarasota, Florida) on 09/20/2012

Some years ago I read a book written by a Vermont Dr. Jarvis. I followed the instructions to drink a mixture of apple cider, and water with my meals to help lose weight. I was very happy with the success I had.

But I have gained weight again in the past few years, and would like to try this diet again. However.. due to a heart problem, I have had surgery to place a stent in my heart, and must take Plavix (blood thinner) as well as 1 aspirin per day.

What I would like to know is if including the ACV back into my diet be safe along with the plavix, and asprin?

Thank You. With much appreciation, Sunny

What a wonderful site!!! Just starting having pain in knee (symptoms indicate athiritis) so have started taking ACV (Today). I also take hypertension tablets (enalapril and bendrofluthiazide) and take bisoprolol as apparently I have a diastolic dysfunction. Does anyone know if there are any contraindications of taking ACV with the tablets I am on? Rather not see Dr about knee pain as suspect will then be on jabs of some sort or other and tired of Hospitals!!

Borax, Lemon Water
Posted by Emmet (Alice, Tx) on 08/31/2012

Hi Ted, I was just wondering can I mix the borax with my litre of lemon-water? I was afraid it may interact with it. The lemon water is supposed to be alkalizing and it would make it both easier to drink and allow me to do two things at once. I usually drink lemon-water throughout the day anyway.

Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil
Posted by Susan (Sarnia, Ontario Canada) on 08/05/2012
★★★★★

Take them separately, as they compete with one another for absorption. My nutritionist told me to take them at least an hour apart. I do use them both for their respective benefits, first the coconut oil in my morning coffee and then the aloe vera gel about an hour later. Hope this helps.

I have had chronic herpes for over 12 years and have tried so many treatments. Today I take 2 x 200mg Acyclovil everyday. I am now going to try Red Algae. My question is "should I continue with Acyclovil as well?" peace

Sodium Thiosulfate
Posted by Anonymous (Anonymous) on 08/01/2012

I made some 10% sodium thiosulfate in a glass eye dropper bottle, after six months, the solution got cloudy and oily feeling, is this natural?

Also to purify water is it ok to mix 10% ST, borax AND hydrogen peroxide? I want to remove the impurities, esp chlorine and fluoride.

Or would ST and borax be enough or is H2O2 enough?

And if we need so much iodine can we just use that in drinking water all day? Or it is too bad tasting? Thank you.

Fulvic Acid, H2O2, Baking Soda
Posted by Stella (New York) on 07/26/2012

I read a post where someone questioned the combination of fulvic acid, H2O2 and baking soda. Apparently Ted supports this combination but I cant find the info anywhere on EC after tons of searching. Im already doing the baking soda and water remedy to alkalize. I've recently started the fulvic acid and it causes my ph to dip to 5 whereas the baking soda and water keep it around 7, sometimes 8. My fulvic acid comes in drops, from a reputable organic creator. I take 7-12 drops in 16oz of water. I have intestinal issues and feel the oxygen, alkaline and fulvic would be great.

Does anyone have any info on how to combine these 3 things and still reap the benefits of all? How many days a week should they be taken? How many days off? I intend to alternate days with borax and oil pulling for hormonal balance and toxin removal...

Any suggestions?....

Soaking in hydrogen peroxide and water would accomplish the same thing and be MUCH safer than bleach! Bleach is very dangerous and should never touch your skin, because that is similar to drinking it.

Chlorella, Urine Therapy
Posted by Coffee (Oaxaca, Mexico) on 06/18/2012

Hello, I have been taking chlorella for 4 months now and I used to smoke. No more than 5 or 6 cigarettes a day for five years for two periods of my life. 18-23 and 28-33. I have quit and am curious, as chorella is meant to rid the body of the heavy metals contained in cigarettes. I can't ask earthclinic to verify the claims that chlorella is useful for that purpose but assuming it is, would urine therapy be safe during the time I am consuming chlorella? I am taking about 30 grams of chlorella daily and was drinking my urine quite regularly til about midday and just wanted to be sure. Thank you kindly for your help, Coffee

H2O2, Juices
Posted by Michal (Winfield, Il) on 06/15/2012

Hi, I believe I have systemic candida b/c I have (coated tongue, numerous yeast infections etc. ) and had some dental implants and was prescribed antibiotics. What juices, aside from Aloe Vera, can be mixed with H202. There seems to be vitamin C in most juices. I have a wheatgrass juicer that also juices vegetables and I've done carrot juice with it but I avoided wheatgrass w/H2O2 b/c of Vitamin C. I also put it in coconut water.

Home Remedy Combinations
Posted by Maggie (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) on 05/29/2012

Hi. I just started a couple of remedies that were recommended to me. Yesterday I took super Lysine extract (few drops in water) for fibromylagia as well as receding gums; took 3 mg boron tablet this morning due to fluoride and chlorine in water; also applied clove oil on toenails for fungus issue (2 days). Also note I have switched from a calcium-magnesium liquid to just taking liquid magnesium (the last couple of days) because of concerns of too much calcium in my diet. Could any or a combination of these result in a sudden onset of aching muscles in arms and legs as this feeling started today and has persisted all day.

DMSO, Vitamin D
Posted by Colleen (Minneapolis, Minnesota) on 05/24/2012

I have heard of people taking DMSO with Vitamin B12. How about with Vit D? I know it's a fat soluble vitamin, but I'm very low on it and my liver can't take very high doses, so I was hoping dmso would be a help in this area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know if this will help totally, but I put in a scoop of Stevia in ACV /BS mix, it then taste like honey?? I don't know why. But Stevia is an alkaline so it shouldn't mess up the mix. And have you tried the borax treatment as well, it is to be sipped, about 1/8 tsp borax in 1 liter of water, through out the day, that should help the burn, at least it does me. don't give up.

You can use tea tree oil on feet for athletics foot also- if you don't like the bleach idea... Vinegar may also work I know for cleaning it cleans as well as bleach without being a poison... For that you would have to check with someone else...

Hi Surulere (what a pretty name :-)),

3 or 5mg Melatonin alone will put me to sleep without all the other stuff mentioned.

As I read your posts, I am thinking "her nervous sustem sounds exhausted". I do not know if that is true for you, but it has been true for me and here is what worked the best for me:

2 raw egg yolks, either buried in a smoothie where you can't taste them or- what I do- is thoroughly wet both hands, gently pour the unbroken yolk from the shell into my wet fingers, very carefully roll them from hand to hand (with cracked fingers letting the water run through and away) to rinse the clear white off and let the white go on down the drain, gently pick the whitish yolk strings off each end with my fingernails, then swallow the unbroken yolk down in one fell swoop without breaking it. A Kung Fu Black Belt taught me this technique many years ago.

Once I have swallowed it, I can feel the difference in my nerves within seconds, everything 'resets' to a very restful internal calm. Among many other valuable nutrients, egg yolks contain very assimilable Lecithin which is almost a perfect food for the nervous system, including Myelin Sheath, according to the late great Healer, Hanna Kroeger. Cooked eggs will not do this, it must be the yolk only, and it must be raw.

If you can't stand the idea of the egg yolks, you could acquire non-GMO Lecithin *granules* (the softgels of liquid lecithin won't do the same thing), which I like to dissolve into not-from-concentrate apple juice or fresh pressed cider and drink. It takes maybe 3 minutes for the granules to dissolve totally, and tastes like a very tasty combination of apple and vanilla.

Hi Mike, I have read in several places on the www that Vitamin C *decolorizes* Lugol's Iodine solution, but does not deactivate it. I do not remember the exact chemical change which occurs, but I do know that Bangkok Ted has spelled it out in one of his EC posts.

I add Lugol's to the last few tablespoons of my morning coffee, works great and lessens the chemical taste.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice Timh... I'm actually allergic to dandelions, so I assume drinking the tea won't do me too many favors. Any other suggestions for this? I don't have the luxury of choosing what I eat on the road, here, and artichokes are definitely never on the menu.

Tourmama, Liver /Gallbladder problems are quite often the cause of chronic psoriasis. All the tummy trouble and constipation also indicates the L/G as bile is the bodies natural acid reducer and laxative (your passage is severely slowed). I suffered the same symptoms as you for many yrs until a chiropractor diagnosed me using reflexology; so I finally cleaned my gb and started Milk Thistle Seed, Dandelion, Artichoke and other good liver herbs. Drink two cups of strong Dandelion Tea (a few hrs apart) and you should have immediate results on the top and bottom end; if so, then the aforementioned is correct for you.

Hi Tourmama, As you will be away and won't want any possible detox reactions maybe lower all your doses. I think 2 Tbs of ACV is not a low starting dose and would start with only 1 teaspoon in water and maybe do it twice a day. It may be worth having the EVCO with your meals although that may not be practical whilst traveling. Have a good trip.

Apple Cider Vinegar Combinations
Posted by Tourmama (Everywhere, All Over, The Place) on 02/06/2012

Hi Gertrude, I know I should cut coffee out, but it's a necessary evil in my line of work. During my off time, I try to limit my intake of it, but on the road, I would be a mess without it. Which I why I was so excited about the ACV remedy. Anything to reduce the harm all of the antacids have caused over the years. Since posting earlier today, I have been sipping the ACV remedy rather than "shooting" it. It is definitely, not a pleasant taste, so I was trying to get it down as quick as possible. Now, I have been nursing my second dose of it, and the pain has subsided.

However... Now it seems my psoriasis is flaring up. Does anyone know if the ACV could be cancelling out the good of the hemp oil and EVCO? Or does anyone have any suggestions on a healthy balance and prefered times of the day/evening? I'm leaving in less than 2 days for a one month tour (different city/country everyday, on my feet for 16 hour a day, no days off, lots of stress, eat what you're served kind of thing). Any advice would be extremely helpful. I don't want to pack things that are harming me and definitely cannot afford to get sick in any way while on the road.

I'm sorry to hear about your sour stomach. I also have acid reflux. You should defintely cut coffee out of your diet (I had to do it too, I know how hard it is) but coffee is straight acid.

Apple Cider Vinegar Combinations
Posted by Tourmama (Everywhere, All Over, The Place) on 02/06/2012

Hello, First of all, thank you for this website. It has consumed many hours of many days in the past 2 weeks, informing me of some healthier options for my ailments. With that said, I'm afraid I may have overdone it.

I suffer from severe psoriasis, severe acid reflux, occasional breakouts, acid or sour stomach most of the time, regular bouts of constipation, and night sweats. I got so excited after reading all of the possible healthy benefits of the three products mentioned above (coconut oil, hemp seed oil, apple cider vinegar), that I am now taking all three.

The first product I purchased, was the hemp oil. I have been taking 2 TBSP per day, straight off the spoon, in the morning on an empty stomach. This combined with some Hemp Seed Body Butter and organic avocado oil, seemed to have been helping a bit. Then I found some EVCO. I decided to start off slow with this, as I was already taking the hemp oil internally. I take one teaspoon in the morning and one at night, right off the spoon, or in my morning coffee or smoothie. This is where the stomach discomfort started, and almost immediately, my acid reflux started acting up BAD.

Onto Ted's recipe for apple cider vinegar. As per his warning, and everyone else's, I started off slow, with 250 ml of cold water, 2 TBSP of ACV (with the "mother"), and 1/4 tsp of baking soda. I took this for the first time yesterday evening, on an empty stomach. I felt relief from the acid reflux, and my stomach bloating immediately went down. I decided to take another dose before bed (since it is suggested 3 times per day, and I hadn't started until the evening, before dinner). It filled me up like a balloon. It felt like there was some sort of war going on inside my stomach. It subsided after about 30 minutes.

This morning, I woke up and took the ACV recipe first thing in the morning. Instant burning of what felt like the lining of my stomach. It's almost as if I could feel the acid churning around in there. I waited for it to pass, but it didn't. It subsided, mildly. I definitely lost any feeling of hunger, so I really understand how this is a good weight loss trick. I then moved onto my tsp of EVCO in my morning coffee. Still, the burning of the lining of my stomach. I had my morning smoothie (babana, hemp seeds, rolled oats, oat milk, Icelandic yogurt) and started getting bad stomach pains. I waited a bit, then followed with my 2 TBSP hemp oil. As of now, I'm still nauseous, have zero appetite, and feel like my stomach is on fire, with some acid sneaking up my esophagus.

So here's the good news... Psoriasis seems to be fading. I still have a couple of white spots, and it varies throughout the day depending on the temperature I'm in from red, to very faint pink, but it is a huge improvement. My face has cleared up significantly, and it's that fun mid-cycle time when I usually start to breakout. I noticed a couple coming in last night, popped some hemp oil on them, and today, they are signnificantly reduced.

The bad news is, my stomach feels like it has some sort of fire war happening inside of it Granted, everything seems a bit looser, which is nice, becasue I also suffer from extreme bouts of constipation, but the fire, or burning sensation is not pleasant.

So my question is, after all of this info, am I overdoing it? Did I get too excited about the promise of all of these miracle cures and mix them too much? Or is this the war going on inside my body, that is killing all the bad stuff? Could I be "too acidic"?
