Apple Cider Vinegar, H2O2
Posted by Zeriva (Upminster, Essex, Uk) on 02/15/2011

Hi everyone
I love this site, it is very reassuring to see that a lot of people take their health seriously out of the hands of doctors! I like to ask a question. Is it possible to do a H202 cure and take the cider vinegar also? can we do both together?
A hospital should also have a recovery room adjoining the cashier's office.

I need to find out for all the different remedies, what time-frame are we looking at; do I just continue the ACV, BSM, and water forever, how about the LemonLime Baking Soda cure, or the cure for Systemic Candida are they and all other treatments to be ongoing forever as a regular part of your daily diet, just need a little clarification on this thanks. This is one FANTASTIC site, keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm confused about one thing however. I thought vitamin C would deactivate iodine, or am I thinking of something else?

Hi Mike... For answers to any of your remedy combination questions, just check Ted's list of safe and unsafe combinations here at this link:

https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/remedy-combinations.html#TED

Ted from Bangkok always advises taking ACV in combination with Sodium Bicarbonate or Baking Soda in water because ACV is acidic and has to first be neutralized by your digestion before it is absorbed (Arm and Hammer BS brand is fine to use here). By neutralizing the acid in ACV first before consumption, this helps to preserve the body's bicarbonates, which helps to further alakalize your body as well as to aid and improve digestion.

Here is what Ted says concerning your questions:

"Borax and hydrogen peroxide and any alkalizing remedy can be combined without problems. "

I always take Lugols Iodine on it's own with water because iodine is so reactive. Never combine Lugol's Iodine with Hydrogen Peroxide. The only thing I would combine with iodine is Vitamin C in a water solution as ascorbate, because this makes the Vitamin C even more beneficial.

If there are unsafe combinations, just take the two separate and conflicting remedies at least an hour apart and nowhere near mealtimes. I've been taking alkalizing remedies, including the ones you are thinking of taking, for nearly 5 years now without any problems.

I've been reading this site for days now. I've decided there are a handful of things I would like to try, but don't feel I have a good handle on how some of these things interact with each other. I would like to try Borax and Iodine treatments for Fluoride and Heavy Metal detox as well as maintenance supplementation. In addition, I would also like to try the ACV and H2O2 therapies. From one of Teds posts, I know not to combine the ACV and H2O2. Here are my remaining questions:

Would a reasonable protocol be to simply alternate these therapies every other day?

Can Borax and Iodine be combined with either of these therapies?

Using Teds ACV advice, could I make a daily tonic of ACV, Baking Soda, Iodine and Borax? Perhaps start the day with a shot of H2O2 and drink the tonic throughout the day?

Any advice on combining these would be appreciated.

I hope you get your specific questions answered, but I wanted to mention the importance of nutritional support to heal your leaky gut, as well as the approaches that help destroy pathogens that are compromising it and avoiding the foods that aggravate it. Making home-made broths from organic bones from beef or chicken, or from fish (especially good if you include the heads) provide super proteins that are perfect for rebuilding our bodies when we don't have the digestive strength for many other foods. Plus, bone broths are hydrophilic, like the juices from freshly squeezed fruits and veggies. Another healing food is pretty much any version of Bieler's broth, which is pretty easy to find online. Hope you are doing better soon!!

Actually, consider taking the vitamin C and baking soda at different times. I have read some saying the baking soda can destroy the vitamin C. Perhaps this is less so with the more alkaline form of vitamin C sodium ascorbate? Also if you take a lot of baking soda, I also read it might deplete B vitamins (especially Folic acid) so make sure to get enough B's or supplement.

Posted by Self (Ny) on 09/30/2010

EDTA & Green tea (probably same for tannin acid, which is in Green tea) are ok, as even Lipton Iced does so

Ted already said, Hydrogen Peroxide, Sea Salt and borax were ok. I think somewhere Ted said Green Tea and Borax might cancel each other out in some way (GT contains fluoride and Borax removes that and there might be more too it). Maybe Tannic acid and borax might be ok?

Ted sometimes says to add Baking Soda to a more acid form of EDTA, so salt is probably fine too (at worst, I think it might just give a laxative effect). I believe mixing Green Tea or Tannic acid is ok to combine with H202. I did see a study where they combined Tannins and H2O2 so I would guess its fine. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1858719

People also mix H202 with milk and juices and I read "It is used in aseptic packaging, such as milk cartons, fruit juices and foods" http://www.tuberose.com/Hydrogen_Peroxide.html

But Ted did say not to take H2O2 with Apple Cider Vinegar (unless its only 2-7 drops H2O2 but I think he said it will cancel out the Vitamin C content of ACV, so not to take it with Vitamin C, & also not with sodium thiosulfate for other reasons. *BTW, Ted did once write of using ACV_H2O2 as an acidic remedy for a sore throat but H2O@ only in the small amounts listed above, otherwise it could become "Peracetic acid" which would be too strong. It has been used in water purification but in extremely small amounts.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/664914

When Ted talked about the ACV alkalizing remedy (best morning and maybe night, depending on urine pH, if its not the ideal 7 on an accurate test meter. The pH strips he wrote in the past aren't the most accurate), I believe he wrote to do the H202 (capful H202/liter drinking water) drinking water therapy six hours later.

"Hydrogen peroxide oxidises sodium thiosulfate to sulfuric acid."
http://www.practicalchemistry.org/experiments/catalysis-of-the-reaction-between-sodium-thiosulfate-and-hydrogen-peroxide,110,EX.html

I think you're fine to mix all of them, except I'd use tannic acid instead of green tea.

Additional Remedy Combining

Red, Bill, EC, anyone please, Is it safe to mix small doses of Tetrasodium EDTA, Tannic acid (or green tea), H202, Sea Salt & Borax in 1 liter all together & drink throughout day?

Just so many remedies the body could use daily but how to fit them all in when many require to be mixed with a liter of water. God Bless. Thank you!

Hello Ted.

I found your reviews very interesting and helpful.

I have started to take the following:

10 drops of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 4 times a day
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider VINEGAR in a cup with 1/4 cup of water 2 times a day.

Just by taking the ACV I have had a complete change in how I feel!!!! :)

So my questions are:
- how long should I continue this
- what other supplements should I take?
I currently take a
-prenatal vitamin (because of vitamins, not because I am looking to get pregnant)
-milk thistle x1 daily

What else should I take?
What should I be monitoring? (ex urine ph?)

Thank you so much, words cannot describe how I am feeling right now. What a difference this has made.

Regards

Question about Apple Cider Vinegar consumption...

I make two power protein shakes every day with 120g whey protein, 2 tbsps BioNatures Flax Seed Oil, 15g Glutamine and was going to add 2Tbsps of ACV but I wanted to check first to see if by mixing it with the other products and using a blender it would take away the actualy positive effects of taking ACV.

With flaxseed for example it can't be cooked at all and loses it's value, but in a blender it doesn't.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions ahead of time.

Everyday Remedies for Optimal Health
Posted by Lori (Delta, Co) on 04/15/2010

I have taken remedies posted on ec for about a year straight. The sea salt, bs molasses, lemon or lime/baking soda, borax, h202, granulated lecithin 2x aday, mag citrate, sodium ascorbate. in taking the bsmolasses I still have lots of new gray hair growing in. mag citrate I swear constipates me. Am I missing something for an optimal health? the lecithin did get my liver enzymes down to normal in a matter of months:)i'm concerned about the sea salt drying my kidneys up? I'm pretty healthy, past the menopause,

my question is what do you take as remedies for an everyday regiment and for how long have you done this?

Hi Joe...Your remedy combination shouldn't cause problems and shouldn't minimize it's effects -- but don't forget to take a "rest" from taking the water remedy for a couple of days every week.

Also, the only reason I use Epsom Salts in my water remedy is that this is the only one available and easy to buy in the Philippines where I live. Epsom salts is better used for Transdermal Magnesium Therapy. The best forms of magnesium to supplement are mag chloride, mag citrate and mag gluconate. Magnesium Chloride seems to be the best all-round form of magnesium to take as a supplement in solution -- because it simply has more beneficial properties than any other form of magnesium salt (because of the Chloride part of the molecule).

Would premixing 1 liter jars of water with Borax, Hp, Sea salt,& Epsom salt for the week be OK. I'm trying to make this convenient for my father. I didn't want minimize the effects ?

EDTA, Borax, H2O2
Posted by Bill (San Fernando, Luzon, Philippines) on 03/26/2010

Hi Joe...I myself use 1/4 tspn borax, a capful of hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 tspn sea salt and 1/2 tspn Epsom salts(Magnesium sulphate) in a litre of water as a daily drink. This combination is safe according to Ted's Remedy Combinations. See this link and read Ted's safe lists:

https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/remedy-combinations.html#TED

I don't use the EDTA therapy but there is a therapy called Chelox Therapy that combines taking hydrogen peroxide and EDTA by IV. The HP gets rid the arterial plaque from the large arteries and the EDTA gets rid of the plaque from the smaller capillaries. But I would be wary of taking EDTA and HP together or combined, since HP is a strong pro-oxidant and therefore quite reactive.

Bill, just wondering if H202, Borax, Edta can be mixed together in 1 liter water to drink thr-out the day ? Can these be made for the week in advance or will it lose its properties?

Is it ok to mix EDTA in the 1 liter of water with the 1/4 tsp Borax or will the EDTA make the Borax useless by chelating it?

Is it ok to add H202 to the 1 liter of water with the EDTA too?

Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Molasses, Coconut Oil
Posted by Sue M. (Worden, Il, Usa) on 03/21/2010

Not sure about combinations I'm using

I added some daily routines to my health regime after reading the benefits about them. I do ACV w/honey (1tbs. of each 2x daily), 2tbs. of blackstrap molasses 2x daily (1tbs. of a morning and the other 1tbs. at night)and finally 2tbs of VCO...once of a morning and then again at lunchtime. I have been doing this since the first part of December. I eat clean and exercise 6 days a week and am 60 yrs. of age. But, what is bothering me and would really appreciate some input and help is to help me figure out why 2 to 3 days out of the week I become so tired. I feel just worn out. I'm still working full-time. My eyes feel having that burning feeling when I close them and I just feel blah. The closest I can describe it is how you feel when you're trying to catch a "bug". Could it be the VCO, ACV or BSM? A combo of the three? When I did start taking the VCO, I felt terrible for about a month and I thought it was my body trying to rid itself of toxins. I started feeling better after that, but the past three weeks, the old symptoms have returned. Any insight would be appreciated.

Borax, Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda

Please help me. Yesterday I suddenly vomited twice, which is rare for me as I have a stomach of steel. Here is what I am doing, am generally healthy but could lose 50 pounds to be the weight I was in high school long ago. I have 1/8 tsp. of baking soda in a 12 oz glass of water 2 times a day. I have a 1/2 gallon jug of water I put 1/8 tsp. of borax in and I drink from the jug all day long. I also put 1/2 lemon in a 12 oz. glass of hot water with 2 TB ACV and chug the glass down as I do not like the taste. Did I upset my stomach from the ACV drinking too fast, or did I have a reaction to the borax, or is there a vomit side effect from all 3 items? I have been doing this for 3 weeks with no effects. Today nothing as I am afraid to do anything. Help would be greatly appreciated as it sounds like this should be helpful to any body. Thank you, Celia

Hydrogen peroxide to the ACV and baking soda solution.

If Ted could take a look at this section and clarify it for some people that would be great. in his list he does NOT mention the combinination of Apple Cider Vinegar, with baking soda and HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, I found it in another section and placed it copied it.

ADD HYDROGEN PEROXIDE?
02/08/2007: Fran from Houston, TX writes: "Can I add few drops of good grade hydrogen peroxide to the ACV and baking soda solution, twice a day? Thanks"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "No. Hydrogen peroxide will neutralize the vitamin C and other organic compounds in the apple cider vinegar. It is best taken for hydrogen peroxide with water alone, or at least 6 hours apart.

The reason is simple, hydrogen peroxide is an oxidant, while apple cider vinegar and baking soda is an antioxidant.

You can however, mix drops of hydrogen peroxide with baking soda in a drinking water. It creates a more alkaline form of peroxides which can also detoxify the body of accumulated poisons built up in the liver.

ACV, Turmeric, Oil Pulling
Posted by Jeanie (Burlington, Nc) on 02/13/2010

I have read so many great things about apple cider vinegar, turmeric and oil pulling on this site that I just have to try why not what do I have to lose?! But, I have a few questions that I can't seem to find an answer to on this site and I am hoping someone can enlighten me on this subject. Can you take a combination of the three remedies? Would you even want to do that or is it redundant? Do you take these remedies as a lifetime maintenance program or use them as needed? Thank you in advance for your help.

This is just to let everyone know what I have found out using Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and blackstrap molasses to my health routine. I started out with VCO first and used wayy too much. Start small....about 1/2 tsp or so and then increase over time. It detoxed my body too quickly and I felt terrible for over a month. After reading this website, I tried melting my VCO first and adding it with food...worked great!! I'm up to 2tbs. a day and it's fantastic. More energy, skin feels great and stomach doesn't get upset with anything I eat. When I found this website, I started using ACV....found out to start small with that, too. I started with 2tbs. twice a day and should of started with 2 to 3x tsps. a day.Kinda felt bad with that, too at first, so I cut back. Then I read about the blackstrap molasses and tried too much of that, too. Just doing 1 tbs. with 2tbs. of ACV and 1/8tsp. of baking soda at night does wonders for my skin and keeping me regular. When I did the VCO, my skin had alot breakouts, but I perserved and realized that it was detoxing the way it was suppose to. The ACV is great for removing moles....just like everybody said. My best recommendation is to start small and then increase. I love this website.....thank you!!!

H2O2 stays in the body for about maximum of 50 minutes. Hence, if CoQ10 is taken after an hour or so. The H2O2 should not interfere with CoQ10 when it is taken using this schedule. It helps to take vitamin C now and then after H2O2 therapy is finished.

NEED CONFIRMATION ON HOW MANY OF TED'S REMEDIES I CAN TAKE

Hi Ted, I am a 48yr old woman with several health issues. I have had CFS for approx 15 years. However, my biggest problem is Candida and all that comes with that for example:- Leaky gut, chemical sensitivities, chronic hayfever, chronic constipation, thrush, thinning hair, numerous food sensitivities, poor sleep and undigested food.

I have been reading a lot of the information that you have written and am really delighted that someone is willing to give up sooo much of their time to help other people.

Could you please verify if I am on the right track with the remedies that I am currently taking. I have scanned a lot of your information and have tried to use this in improving my own health.

1. I no longer eat wheat, dairy, potatoes, mushrooms, fruit, yeast, peanuts and sugar.

2. I am consuming 2 x Tblspn fresh lime juice with 1/2 tspn bicarb soda first thing every morning & last thing at night.

3. 1/4tspn sea salt in 1 litre of drinking water.

4. Vitamin B 5days on 2 days off. Vitamin C every 2nd day. 1 tbspn of lecithen before meals 3times a day and evening primrose & flaxseed capsules daily, 1 x digestive enzyme with each meal.

However, I am still a little constipated and need to know if I can use a few of your remedies at the one time, for example can I continue to use the lime & bicarb soda remedy (above) and also the leaky gut remedy that would be an extra 1/2tspn bicarb soda morning and night all in the one day????

Also should i take the lime & bicarb remedy for a while than change over to the 1/4 tspn bicarb soda & 1/4 tspn potassium citrate after a few weeks????? I was taking the ACV and bicarb soda but became really constipated. Ted lastly can you tell me what the maintenance dose should be that I can take for the rest of my life???? I read that you have taken the bicarb for the last 35years. Do you think that I will ever be able to take the ACV and bicarb again once my constipation is sorted out????

Many thanks
Debbie

P.S. I have purchased some magnesium chloride and wondered what quantity should I take.

Sodium and Potassium Citrate, Sodium and Potassium Carbonate
Posted by Kathy (Dubois, Pa) on 09/18/2009

OK...if I've got my science right, an oxide is a mineral bound with oxygen, like Magnesium Oxide, or Calcium Oxide, etc, and they have a high pH (are bases i.e. are alkaline). A citrate, like Magnesium Citrate or Calcium Citrate are esters formed by the partial neutralization of an oxide with citric acid, e.g. Magnesium Oxide plus Citric Acid forms Magnsium Citrate. The problem with the oxide form of minerals is that they are not very bioavailable and that they neutralize the very stomach acid that is needed to digest them. But a citrate, like Magnesium Citrate, on the other hand, is "pre-acidified" and much better absorbed by the body. Sodium bicarbonate is sodium bound to carbon...two carbon atoms (bi-carbonate) for every atom of sodium. Sodium Citrate is just another name for Citric Acid. Your question is a very good one, and hopefully someone else out there can help elaborate on an answer to it.
