T: I would suggest using the word "Sodium Chlorite" not MMS in your search as MMS is simply a brand or logo for "Chlorine Dioxide", which is derived from adding Citric Acid. Technically you cannot buy ready made MMS as it does not keep in containers. You must make it yourself and use it right away. But there may be some venders who sell "Sodium Chlorite" as MMS liquid drops.

Hi Timh, Well, just maybe low levels of chlorine bleach [ MMS ] can kill off said pathogens. But I would never say it is safe. Chlorine bleach kills ALL living cells including all human tissues. You have stated you have ongoing health issues including hepatitis C. My point being: If this MMS is so good at killing pathogens why do you still have hepatitis C ? And why all these other health issues ? The BHT will NOT work if you take MMS. I do see we have an entirely different take on all this. Dear Timh, Well, I do NOT in any way pretend to be a person who knows much or anything about so called MMS. But it does seem to be the same thing I buy called chlorine bleach [ sodium hypochlorite ]. This stuff is so powerful I use it around my property to destroy large ant colonies. Hills of ants about 3 feet or more in diameter and about 1 foot high. I simply take a spade shovel and dig out a shovel full of the ant hill, then pour in 1 gallon of the chlorine bleach in and replace the dirt. That colony of ants is dead. I do not know how deep these ants dig in. Without a doubt this stuff will kill just about anything. Plants will not grow on an area so treated for about 1 year. A great, the best, way of dealing with large ant infestations. A local farmer told me about this. So it is great for killing ants. So I do NOT see how such a deadly compound can be safe to ingest. This stuff costs about one dollar a gallon at THE DOLLAR STORE....Oscar

For about 30 years of my 40 years in the paper industry I enhaled ClO2 which is a solution used to bleach pulp to 90 brightness. For you old dogs from the 40's the brightest paper was less than 80. Newsprint is in the mid 70's because Hypo was the best bleach we had in those days.
ClO2 is the latest rage in killing pathogens. You know it as MMS. My question to you wormy folks. Was this good for me or bad? I now think it was good. This gas can kill you just as Chlorine can. Is life interesting or what?

Not going to rain on Jim Hubbles parade because he found a way to get around our government's control of compounds that can keep you healthy. That compound is Chlorine Dioxide. When I started school in the 40's we had tablets which had a paper brightness of about 70. Now students write on paper in the 90's. Why is that? Well back in Paw Paw's day the paper industry had 3 chemicals to bleach pulp with. That was Chlorine , Sodium Hydroxide and Hypochlorite. That was it. In the early 50's the paper industry came up with Chlorine Dioxide and now folks would not accept less.
Let me draw this out a little . Before the Sulfate Process to dissolve lignin and make paper there was the sulfite process. It was an acid process and one paper mill could produce enough vanilla to supply the world. It never did because it would destroy all the folks making vanilla. One pulp mill today could make enough Chlorine Dioxide to supply the world and solve most of the world's health problems. Why is this not done? First, Big Pharma will not allow this to happen and neither will the AMA. Second behind Energy, is health in our economics. You cure health problems and you destroy our economy. That will not be allowed. Hey, Chlorine Dioxide would also be the end of supplements. Now you are between a rock and a hard place. You have just killed medicine and now you kill Earth Clinic. Yep it's that critical. But never fear, this will never be done. We will always need EC. Everyone looks at the little picture, this is the big picture.
Understand that this is radical, but hope it makes you think. Like I told my buddy Mike 62 in Denver. I am smart, but not so delightful.

Activating MMS with citric acid or lime juice should result in the same chemical formula that does the job. I am not able to understand why lime juice would have less side effects than citric acid... The only thing I can think of is if it is not activating the MMS properly and therefore, less effective, leading to reduced side effects?

I've read that the amount of water doesn't have an affect on the MMS / medicinal dose. You could put the number of activated drops in any amount of water you're comfortable drinking at one time. It doesn't taste the best, so sufficient dilution helps get it down, but not so much water it's a total chore to drink it all at once. I had read if using drops in your bath water that the effectiveness of the MMS is not reduced by having a large tub / more water. Hope that helps.

I am just going to pray that somehow that this desperate letter has a chance to cross your way. I have been desperately seeking info on the caustic efects of mixing a stabilized oxygen supplement consisting of sodium chloride, ozone, traceminerals, and distilled water with a pasturized, fortified from concentrate orange juice (vit d and calcium too. ) No one in the world can answer this question. However it is spoken of even on my supplement.
When it comes to MMS, everyone knows not to mix it with orange juice. Yet no one will say why? If I am starting with a ultra-concentrated stabilized oxygen otc solution consisting only of the things listed above- then what possible reactions could be occuring when 1 1/2 droppers full get mixed with the orange juice? I am very confused. It was accidental that it was mixed with o.j. But either way it has been consumed and 6 days have passed, I cannot sleep for I remain unanswered.
My son is here, but he is not anyone that I recognize. Some type of mineral reaction must have occured. Mentally he is like a bomb expert working with absolute knowledge. Physically he is very weak and tired. His face not only lost all of its color and animation, but his pupils have remained huge no matter the time of day. 6 days solid. I am wondering about alcohol poisonings ethyl, methyl, is that something you can help me figure out? I thought maybe hypoglecemic, but blood suga is fine. Bp is fine too. I looked up herx.. That don't seem fit eithr. Maybe you know something im mising. Pls help. I miss my son.

How old is your son? The symptoms you discussed are consistant with some types of drug use. Such as speed or cocaine. There is no reason to not at least ask him about this. A lot of people, especially young people like to take such drugs. And what is MMS?
Of course I have no way of knowing if he is taking such drugs. It is worth looking into if he is a teenager or young adult. And if he is freaking out is not going to help him or you. Many parents have to deal with this situation. It is all too common and can be resolved.
Heck, when I was growing up it seemed to me most of my friends were playing around with such drugs. Most of them got over it on their own after a few years....Oscar

The orange jucie vitimin C nutrilizes the MMS. Use a small amout of apple juice that has no significant C. The 100% Vitimin C is just a preservative for juices. Do not use that.

I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I do, however, have serious concerns about mms, that I think EC readers would as well. Especially after the FDA's latest warning. When mixed according to package directions, it becomes a potent bleaching agent with many industrial uses. Anyone considering mms, please read the FDA's warnings about the dangers of mms. They advise to stop taking immediately.

Hi EC readers, I to was interested in MMS for Hiv/Aids, and other illnesses(prostatitis included). But after talking to 4 different friends who bought this product, and used it for a month, or more, said they all got sick from it, and MMS did nothing for there other health issues either. In fact all 4 of my friends said there T-Cells and Viral loads were worse than they were before they started this toxic drug. So I would not take it, and advise anyone to do your research as Ellie said! Google it and make your own intelligent decisions. Everyone has different opinions regarding this MMS, and what works for some might not work for others.
I have also tried 5 or more other so called Hiv/Aids treatments/supplements that did nothing to help me either. So I am about to just give up and keep taking the dreaded pills that I have loathed for the last 20 years of this disease! At least I am still alive from taking all of these pills prescribed by a doctor, 20 years later. But that does not mean I like it! I just received my product and am excited to try and see if something can finally help my chronic sinus infections. The pain and pressure in my head is awful. I read his suggested protocol for inhalation, but my nose is so stuffed I cannot breathe through it. Will taking it orally help or does anyone have any other suggestions? The spray MMS is mixed at 10 drops MMS and 10 drops 50% citric acid, wait 5 minutes and add 1 ounce water. If you have a 6 ounces spray bottle then mix 6x10 = 60/60 drops, wait 20 sec. and add the 6 ounces water.
You can leave this on your skin, you can also spray on teeth, in mouth, inhale, etc.
The type that needs rinsed of within 2 minutes is just putting the MMS on by itself for bad burns.

Put 2 drops mms and 2 drops citric acid in a glass and mix together for twenty seconds. It produces a mist (best way I can describe it) that you inhale through your nose and throat. You won't see the mist.
Take it slow, just sniff until you feel a biting sensation in your nose or throat and stop, once only. It's sort of like getting a whiff of ammonia if you have ever experienced that sensation.
I use it daily for my lungs and a sore throat and it has worked to alleviate a sore throat.
I am new on this board so I may not be available for questions yet.
One note you cannot use this with any liquid with vitamin C.

Robertson, from Columbus - what is Herxheimer pains? I have gotten up to 4 drops for 6 days and have diarrhea (5x times in the morning) and then have different types of pains going on in my stomach. Each time I get up to 4 drops for a few days, I get this diarrhea/pain schedule. I have stopped it for the last 2 days and am afraid to go back on it, even though on 1 and 2 drops I feel fantastic. I have been told by a few practitioners that I have overgrowth of bacteria, some parasites and a worm infection. I really want to stay on this stuff, but I could use all the support I can get right now, I feel pretty bad in the bathroom department (lots of intestinal gas, too) although I have great energy otherwise. My son used to suffer from epilepsy. It was corrected completely with Empower Plus from the company Truehope.
We take MMS. We have had excellent results on other health problems. I had a bladder issue (for 4 years) that is 100% cured now. My husband had a lump in one of his testicles, now is gone. My son takes it when he gets a cold or the flu and it dissapears very quick. We put 3 MMS drops and the citric acid solution drops in a veg capsule, close it and swallow it with 4 oz of water every hour. My husband and I have been doing this protocol for 5 weeks now and want to keep doing it for three months. We would like to see his diabetes and my scalp condition gone.
I get all the side effects, but I know they are part of the cleanse, so I don't make a big deal about it.

High folks; In the book called "Zn and Other Micronutrients", the author (either Dr. Passwater or Dr. Pfifer(sp?) found that epilepsy was caused by a Zinc deficiency. You can run a hair sample from a lab and they can tell you what the situation is and what you need to fix it. I have had good results with them over the years on more than one problem.

Forestnfama; I very much agree with you on why people would comment badly toward MMS. I would say it's because they are not educated properly in the use of it. All the information necessary for the proper usage of MMS is found at Jim Humbles site. He has everything there one needs to know about MMS1 and MMS2. MMS is exactly what it stands for MIRACLE MINERAL SOLUTION. It is a GOD send! People have been 'stuped' for so long by the fluoridation, hormones, pesticides, chemicals and soy in our foods, water and air that they haven't the 'sense' enough anymore to make the right decisions. This is exactly what Big Pharma wants. They need us stupid so we will follow their dogma like sheep. This gives them power over us,telling us how to live our lives, making up laws to suit their pocket books etc.! We need to wake up! Anyway, back to MMS :-)

Forestnfama You are a really negative person in that you believe what you want and cut people down who disagree with you. I tried MSM for several weeks (and yes I followed the directions) to cure a UTI infection that didn't want to go away. It did not make me sick, nor did it have any terrible side effects. But it didn't help me at all either. I tried it for a couple of weeks and then finally quit because I was tired of being sick. SO I was put on antibiotics and that cured it right up. MSM couldn't even get rid of the thrush the antibiotics gave me. And now I have an ear infection that is taking months to go away. I have been on MSM again for a couple of weeks and so far nothing. I am open or I wouldn't be trying it again. But so far nada.

Jenny do you know what test one would request to test for HSV viral load? The medical community is soooo confused even still all these years. Every year I get the hushed phone call “you have Herpes”. No, I have anti bodies. IGG. I have never actually had an outbreak in 20+ years so there is no lesion to test. I've read the western blot was the only accurate test but I can't even find anyone who knows what it is or how to do it. It seems every doctor in this area is medically inept and I am very against western medicine.

MMS is sodium hypo chloride, 2.85 mg in the human body, primarily in the cerbro spinal fluid.It may be injected into the blood . Bleach is sodium hypo chlorite, cannot be injected, poison.
MMS is not particularly good for allergies because allergies are a reaction to undigested food proteins that have hit the histamine producing mast cells in a cell membrane. Most allergenic people are hypo chlorhydric. Improving digestion is most important.
Digestive enzymes with HCL work better for allergies in most people.

MMS works best on an empty stomach, so I'd suggest to wait about 2 hours after your last meal before drinking mms, or do it first thing in the morning as I do. From my experience it takes about 15minutes for mms to reach the bloodstream (I feel like someone turned up the heat inside my body by a few degree, which lasts about 30min). So, I assume to start eating or drinking whatever you want should be ok after an hour or so. Ever since I take mms, I have not been sick whatsoever... fingers crossed :)

I just wanted to ad that these Protocols are a guide. A person should use common sense and their own feeling as to what is working and good for them and what not. The main idea is to have MMS going through your body in some regularity so that it will be able to pick, kill and eliminate patogens on it's way. However, different people have different ways of doing things, different habbits and therefore they will have to adjust to a new addition - MMS. I believe that you know best for yourself how much and when to take MMS as long as you try to do it in some kind of regularity. Hope this helps.

MMS is the one product I would want with me should I need to go abroad or camping locally. I must confess it does scare the heck out of me, I don't like to feel off kilter in any way. And it can make you feel real "off" when you take a drop too many. I have used it on occasion to significantly reduce illness time. I noticed how when the whole family got Rotavirus, I dosed everyone , kids included with mms - except my husband. We all had a day of discomfort. He spent five days between bed and the toilet. Admittedly, it was very unnerving to watch my baby projectile vomit and go limp during one particularly bad flu episode. I wondered how I would explain to the emergency unit that I had poisoned my child with mms. But within a few minutes, the same child brightened up - viola- illness over. Just lately I went to get another bottle at my local health shop. (They didn't know what it was when I bought my first bottle). They said that the supplier recently went cold. A few phone calls later, it became evident that the local producer had vanished without a trace. What is with that? Horrific timing I might add. Our once in a lifetime family holiday consisted of nursing sick kids and enduring anxiety attacks froom dodgey cough meds and well intentioned doctor's treatments. I don't wish to be caught without it again. The side effects of OTC, antibiotics, cortisone etc, are too horrendous for words.
Recently I recommended my mother try hydrogen peroxide, which she did , with amazing results. I wish more true healers with scientific knowledge would get involved. MMS is great but something does feel a bit dodge. I have wondered about the possibility of a lowered immunity when taking it over time for every sniffle. It doesn't help either that one in every ten comments is from a nay sayer. The stuff clearly has no competition. More forums are needed and more studies - lab rats anyone?

I've tried MMS for 2 weeks before I stopped, here are my findings that will help you shine some light on many of the issues you're seeing..
Some background: I have been studying herbal supplements for over 10 years, and have tested over 300 different supplements personally. So I'm very in tune on how something effects my body.
1) I would not recommend taking MMS unless it's for a serious condition, just taking it as a "cleanse" is overkill, it's very strong stuff. From my experience, it feels like a light chemotherapy, I don't think it'll do long term damage in most cases, but you do need to have a good reason for taking it.
2) The biggest problem with MMS is dosage, the suggested dosage is extremely off. Even 1 drop a day is way too much for most people. Start off with 1/10 - 1/20th of a drop, once per day, see how you react.
How do you take 1/10th of a drop? Put 1 drop in a glass/bottle, mix well, then only drink 1/10th of the glass/bottle. Pour out the rest as it's no good after it sits.
Sure, it's possible I'm too sensitive to MMS, but if you notice a reaction from 1/10th of a drop, then it's a significant dosage. If you don't notice any type of reaction, increase dosage slowly. 1/5th of a drop, 1/4rd of a drop, etc. This stuff is extremely powerful. Don't let the small "drop" size fool you.
Dosing this way may take a bit longer to cure something, but I believe slow and steady is the safer way with MMS. Whether its a toxin cleansing reaction, or something caused directly by MMS, intense intestinal pain cannot be healthy for you.
My body didn't react well even to the extreme low dosages. There wasn't any serious reactions at the low dose, but ongoing tireless and strong allergic reactions persisted. I'm pretty healthy, so after 2 weeks, if it was the herx reaction, it should have long been gone, or at least getting better, but it wasn't.
So dosage is the key, and obviously it effects everyone very differently, some very badly, so only take MMS if you're positive you need it. After all, a bit of stomache pain and naseau is much better than some diseases out there. Just remember it's not as safe as taking vitamins.

How would I use the straight stuff and for what reason? It is the most powerful bleach there is and is explosive. What can it do for your health? It can kill you if you breath enough of it.

I have read several directions for using the MMS 1000 protocol. My understanding is that the maximum dose is 3 drops. The protocol I have reviewed is that you take it every hour for 8 hours. Not to take it all at once or and one or two doses throughout the day. Perhaps if you do it this way it will be easier than to try and take so much in one dose. It's meant to be diluted similar to homeopathy starting with a quarter of a drop and then working your way up to three drops over a period of a week. Unfortunately as with many things there is not consistency in the use of protocol. But I do believe strongly in Homeopathy and used it to treat my lyme disease. I am now starting the protocol and following the quarter of a drop dose every hour for 8 hours and then working my way up slowly.

I was premixing mine with distilled water first thing in the morning and sealing in a kerr quart jar. I would build upon the mixture every day I was tolerating it without any side effects, and luckily for me I seem to tolerate it very well, with no side effects, which is great because I'm trying to kill fungus and candida and immobilize heavy metals like mercury and lead. I would sip the mixture 4 different times from morning until early evening. I've managed to work up to 11 drops, but were I to take 3 drops every hour that would take me well beyond the 12 drops I'm @ now. I do however like the idea of taking 3 drops either every hour or every few hours in order to build up to one's daily maximum dose. I'm not too sure if it is potent enough to store the mixture like I've been doing, but is sure as heck convenient for being on the road. Thanks!

A new remedy for me, MMS, (tell your search engine to look for "Jim Humble MMS" or "Miracle Mineral Supplement"). It's chlorine dioxide, used by municipalities for water purification. Used as directed by Jim Humble's protocol, it is said to kill viruses, bacteria, funguses, and parasites in your body without harming good bacterias in the gut or harming healthy tissue. Think a moment, how many diseases involve virus, bacteria, fungus, or parasite?
In just two days of using a very dilute solution of it as a mouthwash, my gums are healthy. Wow!
I'll let y'all know in a few weeks if it gets rid of my perpetual athlete's foot and my pre-cancer, etc. (Some are saying cancer is a by-product of a fungus. Kill the fungus, the cancer cells die.)

Power of Positive Thinking
I did a lot of research on MMS before I ordered a bottle. I worked my way up to 15 drops and began feeling the brief nausea that the website describes.
Other than the nausea, there was no effect of any kind during the week I took it.
Common sense dictates that the "nausea" one experiences isn't an indication that the product is working, but an indication that chlorine is a poisonous substance and the body will try to expel the stuff to protect itself.
I don't deny the positive experiences others have had, but I would associate these with the power of positive thinking - after all, the basis for the whole process is that "the body heals itself".
But if taking MMS gives you the proper mindset to jumpstart your immune system, by all means, do whatever works.
Just be careful.

@ Ron Hamer and Dave mms (Chlorine Dioxide) is not Chlorine. Sodium Chlorite activated 5 to 1 with citric acid of 10% strengh, creating Chlorine Dioxide.
The voltage it works at is said to be 0.93v (aprox) as opposed to oxygen at 1.20v and ozone at 2.03v (aprox)
Now common sence to me says if oxygen dose not damage healthy cells, chlorine dioxide will not.
If anything, high blood pressure should be looked for whilst at high doses or even low i guess just to be on the safe side whilst more is confirmed. Watching salt intake would help.
It cannot choose between healthy and unhealthy cells.
It leaves residuals in your body making you smell like chlorox bottle.
Theses are the only potential areas i have found for problems both phyisically and in "debates" for and against.
If anyone has any other valid points for or against please post.

I do think that H202 will not harm normal cells because they have a protective enzyme. This would make sense, since the body uses HP to kill pathogens.
I am not qualified in any way, but would think it much wiser to try HP first, before MMS. HP does not cause a 'poison' reaction at theraputic doses. HP is very very cheap - no one is making vast profits here.
The Pharmaceutical industry makes vast mind-boggling profit. Jim Humble is still making a lot of profit.

A friend (in her 40's) was very ill for a couple of weeks, and was even hospitalized for a few days. Dr.didn't know what she had. They sent her home, but after another week, was not getting any better, but could only sit in the chair for 15 min., otherwise lie in bed. Then results came back for Mono. She took MMS (Miracle Mineral Solution, 1-2 drops every hour the first day for a few hours. By the next morning she was feeling better. After a couple of days she dropped down to twice a day. A week later she is in town shopping. Doesn't have to lie down at all during the day, just sit and rest occasionally. For MS go to youtube and search Dr. Terry Wahls. She cured her MS by changing to a paleo diet. No meat and no dairy. She eats a huge amount of raw vegetables every day. I think you could get a quicker response by taking (organic) raw vegetables in juices every day. Diet is the key. MS is caused by a nutritional deficiency as are most diseases. She went from a inclined wheelchair to riding in a bike marathon in a very short period of time.

Also start taking right away (during water fast also) slippery elm powder 3 times a day (1 tsp stirred into warm water - sprinkle into water while you are stirring so it doesn't clump up then let it sit for 10 minutes before drinking); drink aloe juice, and acidophilus. I had two broken molars both of which were partially under the gum line which led to almost daily bleeding. It was almost 2 months before I could get to see a surgeon (my dentist wouldn't even attempt extraction) and after seeing the surgeon I had to wait 3 weeks for the appointment for the extractions.
For the months before I saw the surgeon I used 10 drops in 2 ounces of clean (non-tap) water which stopped the bleeding within minutes. After I had my consult the surgeon advised he could go ahead with the surgery as long as I didn't get an infection prior. I told him infection wasn't an issue and assured him I would be ready for my appointment, which I was. So not only did the MMS stop the bleeding, it prevented any infection (or pathogens) entering and making a home in my mouth. This MMS is a Godsend!

I agree with you ORH. MMS is too harsh and prefer CDS. I too prefer following Andreas Kalcker Universal Antidote and his book, protocols etc. I know it seems much simpler to just use drops and mix but not a good outcome in my experience. Thx for your knowledge and time.

Hi I have had chronic Lyme for years and yesterday I tried MMS for the first time I did one drop of MMS and one drop of citric acid mixed it in pomegranite juice and only drank about 1/4 of the fluid. Within a minute or so after taking it I strated feeling this heat going down my throat and felt very axious and tired at the same time. It scared me and maybe will not take again due to my reaction. Has anyone out there had the same or similar experience?
