I have also been taking acv (apple cider vinegar) and discovered if I put 1 Tblspn in 4oz water and put in a dropper full of stevia extract, it is much easier to drink. In 2 weeks my fasting glucose went from 115 to 92 and after meals from 163 to <120.

I struggled to drink ACV as a hot drink until I added a drop of lime juice. Now I can drink gallons of the stuff. Give it a try. Very refeshing.

I only drink Organic ACV because it is raw and unfiltered. It has a recipe on the bottle for ACV Bracer to start the day with a wake -up vinegar bracer. 1-2tsp of ACV, 1tsp of honey, water' but never hot water because hot water de-activates enzymes. Some one posted a recipe using ACV with warm water. Who is correct "Solana Gold posted oVirtues of Vinegar or the reader feedback posted on 08/30/2007? I personally takes the Bracer recipe with no water, and it is truly a pick-me-upper with no jitters. ERC of Wichta, Kansas.

I like to use stevia to sweeten my ACV drink. It can be purchaced in many different flavors but a few drops of valencia orange works for me. I'm on a no sugar program so honey is out of the question.

One of the best remedies for colds, and to boost your immune system is apple cider vinegar, chopped garlic, honey, and warm water. Mix all the these ingredients together and drink it. Instantly you will feel better. This recipe is from my Serbian grandmother. I have been drinking since I can remember, and I have never taken any medication for colds.

Hey Maree!!! I also drink the apple vinegar with apple juice, however, regular apple juice has a good 42 g of sugar!! Even if you go with "lite", which has splenda added, uh oh.. thats not good either. Soo...I buy Gerber's Baby Apple Juice which has only 13 g of sugar. This is the best route so far!

Hi I have just begun to use ACV for weightloss and thought I would share this delicious tip. I mix the 2 tablespoons og ACV with raspberry tea and add raspberry seltzer water. The taste is delicious and is much like a no calorie wine spritzer.

I just mixed:
* a cup of hot water
* two tablespoons of ACV
* a little cinnamon
* a little honey
then drank it like a tea, and it tastes great-- (i also tried maple syrup, which works okay, but i don't think it's as effective as the honey.)

I take apple cider vinegar as a digestive aid (with EXCELLENT results). I mix 2 TBLS of Raw Organic ACV with 4oz of Unfiltered Organic Apple Juice and 4 oz of pure bottled water. To avoid DENTAL problems, I simply drink the ACV with a STRAW. To restore the ph in my mouth, I rinse and/or brush with baking soda and water.

I have been doing this for about a month now and I love it. It has increased my energy and helped my mood. I feel much more pep when I use it. I have found the perfect formula for me:, it tastes like an apple soda.
Stella's Formula
8oz Water
2 Tbsp ACV
1/4 Tsp baking soda
1 Pack stevia
In case you are not familiar with stevia, it is a natural herb sweetner. It makes the Apple Cider Vinegar taste delicous and it does not add any calories! It readily dissolves in water and is much more healthy then chemical sweetners, you know the ones.. We are not allowed to market stevia as a sweetner in this country because the power that be would prefer us to keep using those chemical sweetners that are so profitable for them. But it can be sold as a supplement. You will find it in health food stores. It does not work great for coffee but works wonderfully for cold drinks and tea.

I just wanted to comment that if you take 4 tablespoons for honey on a daily basis, you may end up with a candida overgrowth (especially considering that most of us have a yeast overgrowth in the first place, at least to some extent). Candida overgrowth is a serious problem and will be exceptionally hard to rid off. The same is true about molases and apple juice. I think it is safer to stick with water when mixing ACV.

I have used apple cider vinegar for many years and it has to be the most universal natural remedy on Earth. I have found that adding 2 tbs of ACV to an 8 ounce glass of apple juice makes a much more palatable drink. It tastes similar to apple cider.

Here's a suggestion for convenience in using the ACV/honey remedy. Start with 1 quart ACV and 1 quart good quality local natural unpasturized honey (preferrably in glass jar) and a clean glass quart jar. Pour half the honey into the quart jar. Pour half the ACV into each jar half filled with honey. Replace lids and agitate until honey and ACV are thoroughly combined. Then pour mixture into empty vinegar bottle for easier pouring and refrigerate. If you wish to add 1 tbsp. ACV and 1 tbsp. honey to a glass of water, just add 2 tbsps. ACV/honey mixture. This mixture combines easily with water of any temperature. This saves me so much time that I actually stick with the plan.
