This is in response to the lady who used HP--50/50 in her nebulizer machine & not the food grade either--the first time I read this I was having a hard time breathing that night from a cold and I have asthma & COPD so I tried what she suggested and I had to call an ambulance less than an hour later---it burned my lungs badly and I couldn't breathe--felt like I could get no air in my lungs--thought I was going to die--ambulance finally came and I was treated & ok now but don't believe everything other people have tried will work on you--in my case it had disastrous results!

Hi my name is Janna and I'm greatly concerned about my children.

My children are 2 and 3 years old, that broke out in rashes on back above the buttocks. They both have severe food allergies to dairy, wheat, and sugar. (which this is how they break out when those foods are eaten). I'm trying to cleanse their bodies. Is it true this is a "die off" side effect, how long will this last? Also if I am feeling fatigued and yeast symptoms appearing after drinking 12 drops of h202, should I increase as to say it is cleansing the body? Thank you for any answers you have for our family. My hope is to cleanse, then build up with probiotics, and of course change diet to more of a plant based diet.

Thanks, Janna

Janna, a good book to read is by Dr. Natasha McBride, called "The Gut & Psychology Syndrome". To heal the food allergies, you will need to heal their guts first and then gradually put back in those foods.

She has some youtube videos as well you can research. I would not be giving my children anything that I am not sure of the effects of. Fine to give it to yourself but not small children (my opinion anyway).

The author talks about starting with homemade chicken broths (which contains all of vitamins and minerals (and is gentle on the stomach) and then moving on to other things. Just purging their stomachs is not going to help - and you have to be careful about them losing too many electrolytes which can be dangerous.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hi. I have been taking h202 for a little under a year. my eyebrow (related to spleen, kidney) doesn't hurt as much and I dont feel that thud of pain on my lower back where liver kidney is.

I did the 21 days up and then ramp down to 3 drops of 35% solution. currently I'm on maintenance where I take it but I stop over the weekend as Ted suggested to give a break.

However this month I noticed that sometimes I get tingling .. Like electricity shocks inside my body. Is this related to h202 or something else? I haven't changed my diet (except that I"m accumulating money to fix my back). I don't usually get this at all.

i used hydrogen peroxide, 35% with 8 oz. of distilled water to drink for theraputic benefits. I started with 4 drops hp in water twice daily;increasing by 1 drop daily until I reached 11 drops. (then I stopped because of nausea). I used the hp full strength in the water because thats how I understood it to be used. Since I did this, my joints (shoulders, lower back, pelvis and knees)ache daily. What did I do wrong and can something be done to correct this?

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I am doing the HP oral therapy and did great--more energy, less pain, mental clarity--until I reached 21 drops 3x daily of 12% food grade, in distilled water. Then the horrible esophageal burning started! So I added 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in distilled water, directly after the HP. It helps some, but still the burning. Is there anything else I can do to rememdy this?

PLEASE NOTE: I had this same burning before starting the HP if I tried to eat fresh fruits/vegetables. Also, I have some fear that the HP will burn a hole in my stomach/esophagus. Any info would be much appreciated.

UPDATE: Day 13 and still hanging in there! Up to 11 drops 35% food grade H2O2 plus 1/4 - 1/2 tsp baking soda, 3x daily. For the most part, feeling GREAT!! I've had a few die-off effects, but not bad. The biggest problem is my blood sugar. I'm hypoglycemic and my blood sugar starts dropping about an hour before I can eat again :( There's just no getting around it, so I'm trying to work through it. I couldn't do it if I was working. But let me tell ya, my mind hasn't been this clear for as long as I can remember! AND very little, if any, pain! Woo hoo!! The other night, I was watching TV, and all of a sudden, my sinuses just opened up! I didn't even know they were blocked--never knew I coudn't take a deep breath! Pretty cool when it helps with problems you never even knew you had :) My husband is up to 15 drops 35% food grade H2O2, 3x daily, and doing GREAT!

UPDATE: My husband and I are on Day 21 and doing GREAT! I'm up to 20 drops, 3x daily, 35% Food Grade H2O2 in distilled water, he's on 23 drops of the same. My blood sugar is much better--really loading up on protein and restricting carbs almost completely. Not using as much baking soda now--don't use it every time I take the drops. Looking forward to making it to the 25-drop mark so we can start tapering down to the maintenance level. I get a lump in my throat every time I think about drinking this stuff, but it is SO worth it! This therapy has made a world of difference in our lives--both have a lot more energy and endurance for life. My husband used to be tired all the time, and now doesn't fall asleep on the couch every evening. Really enjoying the extra energy, mental clarity, and freedom from constant PAIN and depression!

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hi. I just read an Earth Clinic report on your site (dated 11/21/2006) that casts doubt on whether H2O2 therapy might cause gastrointestinal problems. I just wanted to give you some feedback on the subject, based on personal experience. I've been on H2O2 therapy for a few weeks - long enough to see a few subtle changes for the better - but one down-side that I've also noticed is that I get very severe reflux as a result. My better half started the therapy at the same time as me, and he takes the same dose of H2O2 as me, but he hasn't had any reflux problems.

There's one main difference between the two of us however - I had a pretty nasty gastric reflux problem to start with (had it for years) whereas he doesn't have a pre-existing condition of this kind. So while I'm not saying that H2O2 actually causes gastric problems, I am saying that it might irritate pre-existing problems of that type in some people - particularly if the problem is already fairly severe to start with. I find it helps if I take my reflux medication during or before taking my daily H2O2 dose, and I also get better results if I don't let my stomach stay empty for too long after ingesting H2O2. It doesn't stop the reflux completely, unfortunately, but it seems to reduce the severity quite a bit.

This is the exact same scenario with me and my husband. Have you tried taking 1/4 tsp baking soda with your H2O2? I had the same issue until I started doing that. So are you saying you don't wait the full 3 hours after you take the H2O2, before you eat? I'm thinking of trying that--maybe wait 2.5 hours, to see how I do...

I began my H2O2 therapy three days ago, diluted 10 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide in 200 ml. of mineral water. I noticed a feeling of cut skin on the palm of my hands, one of them being an actual cut. Has anyone heard of this being a side effect?

Dear fxgirl, in reply to your feeling of cut hands. I think you may have dropped some undiluted H2O2 onto your hands, even as little sprinkles. This will cause stinging and white skin patches, that feel like cuts. I have done this to myself! Just try not to spill, and wash hands after using H2O2 just in case.

Hi Michelle, thank you for your answer. Actually, I know very well how to handle H2O2 because I've always used it externally, so spilling it is not an option. Maybe some other thing is wrong...

Dear FXGirl, looks like I'm the clumsy one! I hope you find out what it is, because I keep recommending H2O2 to people, and also this fantastic Earth Clinic. Please let us know if you uncover the cause. My gratitude to everyone who posts on this site, especially the founders, and regular stellar advisors.

Hopefully! This cut skin feeling has appeared in my lower eyelid, where the veins are now more visible. Wherever it appears, the veins are more visible.

I started taking H2O2 (35% food grade) 3 drops in 4-6 oz water 3x per day and increased 1 drop per day (I had to increase water amount too) to 14 drops. I have stayed on 14 drops 3x per day for 2 weeks (plan is 3 weeks then decrease back down to 3 drops 3x per day)I have started having pain in my lower abdomen that has gotten to be quite painful. I actually took a day off today as the pain is really concerning me. The only thing I can compare it to is when I had a colonoscopy 4 years and they removed a polyp or 2, I could feel a minor pain then and this current pain is in that area and much more panful than when they removed the polyps. Can anyone (Ted) advise what to do fo this pain? Thanks for your help. I have been reading many things on this site and am amazed at some of the testimonials.

I have the same problem--colon spasms, when I drink anything with caffeine. If you're drinking caffeine as well as doing the H2O2 therapy, you may want to cut down on the caffeine. I can't use apple cider vinegar for the same reason--it's a simulant :(

Caution drinking Hydrogen Peroxide: I tried drinking less than a quarter capful of Rite Aid brand 3% hydrogen peroxide this morning in a 12 oz glass of water. I immediately felt my body tingling and I drank another glass of water to dilute the effect. Within minutes I felt a weird sensation and had to rush to the bathroom. I have been rushing to the bathroom practically all morning. I did not know whether to laugh or cry because I suffer from chronic constipation and I thought I welcome the frequent bathroom visits but not due to an upset stomach. I drank another glass of water and continued feeling funny. I went to Rite Aid and spoke to the pharmacist who told me I should be okay. I felt better after having a late breakfast. I have a sensitive stomach and I was told the HP may have been too much of an irritant for it. Just a word of caution if you are going to use 3% like I did for the first time, maybe you should start with one drop and see the effect or diarrhea and a racing pulse may be the side effect for a while. It is now about five hours later and I feel almost normal.

Hi, I wanted to warn people of one potential side effect of hydrogen peroxide therapy. I took it internally as directed on this website and started having palpitations about a week later. These were premature ventricular contractions and progressed to happen in a bigeminal pattern (every other beat) for about a third of every day. I have no prior cardiac history and am a generally health 36 year-old man. I stopped the hydrogen peroxide and they went away. I restarted it after a week of no palpitations to test the theory that it may be due to the hydrogen peroxide and they came back. Stopped it again, and they went away. Premature ventricular contractions are not usually harmful, but are disturbing and it also sent me on a wild cardiac goose chase (including a $2500 echocardiogram) because I didn't consider that it could be related to the hydrogen peroxide therapy.

Hello, everytime I take hydrogenperoxde by drinking 1-3 35% drops in a glass of tapwater or gargling, I get stings in my heart afterwards. What is the reason for this? I think about stopping hydrogen peroxide. Thank you

Hi, I inhaled some hydrogen peroxide 3% from the chemist using a nasal spray into my mouth 4 days ago. I did about 4 pumps 4 times about every 2 hours.

Since then I have a burning sensation in my chest, is this normal or should I seek medical advice?

Lemon and BS With HBP

I have had HBP for many years, and finally gave in to the doctors and started on BP meds. I was taking the meds for about one year and then I found earth clinic. I started off taking the lemon juice/baking soda 2-3 times a day and I started to wean off the BP meds. I couldn't find any info on how to get off the meds so I took a pill every other day , then 1/2 pill for three days, then stopped all together. I checked my presure 3-4 times per day and it was 125/65 or close to that most of the time. I was very happy because I hate taking the meds...after nine days off the meds and nice low bBP readings, yesterday turned into a nightmare!

I woke up in the morning with my head spinning, the room was spinning and I was very dizzy, I had shortness of breath and I was very scared. My BP was very high. My husband came home and rushed me to the doctor. He was very upset that I stopped the meds and said I was lucky I didn't have a stroke. He said I had a rebound reaction and my BP was very high, with racing heart. I am back on the meds and wondering what happened. The doctor said NEVER take baking soda when you have high pressure! The lemon or ACV does not balance the sodium with potassium. I love natural cures, so now I will have to try to find another way to not have an acid PH. The doc says I will always have to take BP meds the rest of my life( I'm 55) Does any body out there know what happened? I still feel a little dizzy today, and am discouraged. I don't want anyone else to go through what I just did.

Hello all. Yesterday I juiced a half lemon and added a small spoonful of Baking Soda to my filtered water. Started sipping it while doing other things. Noticed I started to feel agitated and hyper. Almost a jumpy feeling. Felt like I had Caffeine in me.

My daughter commented that I needed to calm down and I realized it was the drink. I had only consumed a small amount from the glass.

I was diagnosed with Mild Mitral and Tricuspid Regurgitation last year. I cannot consume any caffeine due to this. Has anyone had this happen to them or any advice regarding this? I am ok with ACV as I add it to my water sometimes or my smoothies with no problem. I will never again drink Baking Soda.

I also had a "caffeinated" reaction to the lemon juice and baking soda. I can't handle any amount of caffeine at all, my heart acts up and I feel a horrible sense of dread. My heart was "heavy" feeling and I felt panicky and apprehensive. My husband asked if I had ingested caffeine. I said no, but then realized that last night after taking the lemon juice and baking soda, I couldn't sleep for hours. This makes me sad because it made the pain in my leg, from what Im thinking is another DVT forming, go away in two hours.

Hello,

I am trying the lemon bicarbonate cure for a week now: one lemon squeezed adding 1/2 teaspoon and adding water to one glass. I have beginning rosacea and found out my ph urine levels were under 6. But after taking it one quarter of an hour later I get this headache every time. Can anyone please tell me what this means? Maybe it is not good for me

Thank you, Janice
