Nambudrad's Allergy elimination technique, NAET, is good! It helped me a lot. You can have odd allergies, like to cold wind, and calcium as I had. I had to go 8 hours to get it though, and I haven't been back after the 2nd, week long visit where I was treated for several days per week. It helped me though.

Nebulizing liquid Glutathione that you get from a compounding pharmacy (need a prescription) has stopped asthma in a few people I know.

Nasal Saline Irrigation (Neti Pot) for Asthma:
A neti pot has CURED my asthma attacks. Make sure you know how to properly use the device or it won't be effective. I wasn't able to breathe out of my nose, I was a HEAVY mouth breather. After using this, immediately I could breathe better and now I'm breathing through my nose.
I also did a mouthwash with warm water and salt, there may be a link with oral hygeine and asthma. Using a peppermint toothpaste also helps open passages.

When one of my children was 11 or 12, he began to have trouble with asthma. It would flare up after a cold or due to seasonal allergies. It was bad enough that he needed steroid inhalers a couple of times. His doctor wanted him to take over the counter allergy medicine all the time. I did not want to go that route!
I started to give him nettle leaf powder in capsules. He took 4 nettle leaf capsules, twice a day. He also took 2 quercetin capsules twice a day. If he started sneezing from allergies during the day, he took another dose mid-day. He took these things for at least a year, maybe longer. Not only did this control his asthma, over time it seemed to completely heal it. Nettles is great for allergies and it also is a blood purifier. I wonder if it healed whatever was going on that was causing him to be asthmatic in the first place.
This did not work as well for my daughter. It took a lot more trial and error for her. Milk Kefir seems to be the cure for her.
Interestingly, the son who had asthma problems also had terrible, terrible reactions to poison ivy. We used to say he could just look at a picture of it and get it. He would get a little bit and it would spread terribly, it seemed to go systemic on him. Once he had it on his tongue. He took steroids for this a number of times. Anyway, he no longer gets severe poison ivy reactions. He gets a bit of poison ivy here and there but I know he is around it and "should" be getting it severely. It never even warrants treatment in his mind, and he used to be almost bedridden with it at times! (Recently, he was even with the brother who was weed wacking and got some poison ivy on his arms that I mention in another post! )
Nettles is so safe and gentle to use internally. I am amazed at how healing it can be!

Nose breathing reduced my asthma-like symptoms considerably. About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with allergy related asthma. I ignored the symptoms for about 6 years as they were mild. They worsened, and I had to use an inhaler every day to control the coughing. This year, I noticed that when I laughed, sang, yelled or became stressed, talked too much (I am a teacher), I would cough. I knew my doctor would just give me more asthma drugs, so I began to research alternative treatments on the internet. I came up with the Buyteko program which requires an hour a day of breathing exercises and changing to nose breathing from mouth breathing. As I do not have an hour a day to practice specialized breathing exercises, I utilized what I could: In June of this year (2007), I became a nose breather. It was tricky at first. I had to learn to shorten my sentences and inhale only through my nose. I naturally exhale through my mouth slowly as I speak. This is okay. No deep breathes in or out through the mouth. No deep breathes in through the nose either. To prevent mouth breathing at night, in accordance with the Buyteko program, I tape my mouth with cheap masking tape. It took 3 months, but I have no asthma-like symptoms. I can laugh, shout, get excited or stresed and sing.
It has been over a months since I have used an inhaler.

I'm been doing oil pulling ( oil and 3 drop Thyme oil mixed in) for few days, my breathing is better. Now I'm thinking that since all root canals leak infection supposedly. Perhaps the shortness of breath is due to this issue. I'm seeing a holistic dentist next week to discuss having them removed and redone the correct way.

Oil Pulling is helping to cure my asthma. Previous to OP I was unable to run without tight congestion in my chest. The OP in my opinion is curing my asthma and I am now able to run without or very little asthma symptoms. I also noticed healthier gums, and whiter teeth! Thank You!

About two weeks ago I was taking my inhaler about twice a day (two puffs total since I don't like using the inhaler in the first place). Then I started Oil-Pulling. You can draw your own conclusions. But all I can say is that the very next day I stopped having to use my inhaler. I didn't experience an immediate throwing-up of mucus. But what I did experience is a gradual coughing-up of mucus all throughout the day. Another thing that I've experienced at least twice is what happens if my chest becomes tight. Usually when my chest tightens it'll stay that way and gradually get worse until I take my inhaler.
What I'm seeing is that when my chest tightens , I'll go through maybe a three hour period where I'll slowly begin to cough-up mucus until my chest is clear again. I have NEVER experienced my chest clearing-up all by itself after it has tightened. I've ALWAYS had to take medicine in order to get relief. During that time, my nose was stuffed a lot of the time. Since I've been OP-ing, it hasn't been. I can only conclude that it must due to the Oil-Pulling.

This winter my asthma came back - but not quite as badly as last year. I came back to your site and found oil pulling. What an amazing thig! I was waking up each night needing to cough - but the oil pulling allowed me to cough up mucus in a gentle way - I have been doing the oil for 3-4 weeks and the progress has been steady. Interestingly, I felt the oil pulling clear my sinuses fist - and I didn't think I really had a problem with that. The lungs have been more gradual - but there is definite progress and I don't need the inhaler unless I exercise too hard. The oil pulling was creating such a cleanse in me that in the first week i was feeling very tired and out of sorts. The I decided to do ACV -that was like a miracle - I was no longer tired. My feeling is that the oil pulling pulls toxins out from deeply stored areas of the body - but once the toxins are circulating - the ACV helps to flush them out. The same thing thing happened for my daughter... A side benefit of the ACV is that my blood pressure went down more than 20 points. I do think the ACV is also helpful for the asthma - I also find it very hlpful to take 1 teaspoon of turmeric in a bit of hot water or coffee each morning - with milk and honey to taste - this also helps the asthma very much - and I hope it will help create a longer ter cure.

Please post this where asthma sufferers can view it, this is important because I had a hard time finding a cure for asthma on your site but thank God I did. I began a regimen of
oil pulling shortly after a lingering cold went to my lungs, I just couldn't get rid of the mucus. I prayed for relief. It got even worse after a chemical pesticide was sprayed in my home for pest control. The next day after the extermination I had the worst attack of my life, I couldn't stand it anymore, so after 10 years of not having to put any poison into my lungs I had to once again use an inhaler to control the attacks. After the second night of waking up feeling side effects of nervousness anxiety and panic I decided enough was enough. I went to the computer in the middle of the night and began hours of research to find a natural cure. That's how I found this miracle of a web site. The next day I went out a purchased some sesame oil and took one table spoon 3x a day at the onset of my asthma attack and Immediately after the very first dose the mucus expelled out of my longs, and within 10 minutes what had plagued me for over 10 years was no more. Since then If I have any tightening in my chest or shortness of breath I IMMEDIATELY do the oil pulling and the problem subsides in 10 minutes or less. ~~~Oh I'd be remiss if I did not mention the side effect, I took oil pulling for Bronchial Asthma but as a result I got a dazzling white smile, sinus relief, not to mention it remarkably helped to subside my symptoms PMS all unexpected but welcomed side effects. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! P.S. thanks my husband thanks you too, lol.

Hi! My 9 year old had a terrible asthma attack last night. She coughed and wheezed all night. By morning, the coughing was non-stop. All night I tried remedy after remedy and nothing was working. (She had this trouble a year ago and we found a number of natural solutions for her. Then she only had a little trouble every so often, easily treatable with nettles and quercetin.) Anyway, I was reading through all the asthma stuff here on earth clinic and trying what I had on hand. ACV didn't work. Essential Oils didn't work. Lobelia tincture didn't work. And Epsom Salt bath didn't work. Green tea didn't work. Coffee didn't work. Herbal steam didn't work and nettles and quercetin didn't work. ) Previously, many of these things had worked for her, so I was really baffled.
Finally, I called a friend (when the hour was decent) to ask her about a remedy she had once used on her son who has bad asthma. It was an "Onion Poultice." I sauteed about 1/4 cup of onion in coconut oil until it was soft. I put it on a cloth. I added a lot of salt. (at least 1/4 cup. ) I wrapped it in the cloth and when it was no longer too hot (test on forearm) I put in on her chest (which had some oil as a barrier on it, so the onion wouldn't burn. ) In a few minutes she stopped coughing and slept with not a single cough for almost 2 hours. She was still wheezing but not coughing. When she woke up, I gave her 4 nettles capsules and 2 quercetin capsules. When I checked her breathing with a stethoscope 30 minutes later, her lungs sounded almost normal.
By the way, if you have a stethoscope, here is a great website to know what you are hearing. I found it very helpful.
http://www.easyauscultation.com/lung-sounds.aspx
She may have a little cold that brought this one and perhaps ate something yesterday at a pot luck that didn't agree with her (she went to bed with a migraine.)
I was thinking we might end up in the ER and was so grateful that we didn't have to do that. Thank God for onion.
I hope that helps another mom one of these nights when you are searching and searching for what will help you child!

I was born with asthma even died a couple of times as a child, my mother had to give adrenaline shots till I was 19 years old. We moved out of the San Francisco house into a brand new house in Pacifica. My asthma improved immensely. I believe the San Francisco house was filled with mold and the new house wasn't. Then when I was about 19 years old I got it and supplements and herbs and improve my diet.
Over the years it would get better with diet and then get worse with diet. This past spring was one of the most intense experiences. I was on too many medications and I was not on the right foods in my diet, my asthma really bad.
In the early morning hours searching on Earthclinic.com I found a comment that asthma was fungus based. The recommendation was to take oil of oregano 2 to 4 dropper full‘s per day! I had some in the cabinet so I started taking it and sure enough, I started getting better and getting relief with my asthma.
I went down the rabbit hole Searching for anti-fungal diet and supplements. I found Doug Kaufman wrote a bunch of books on it has a TV show podcast Facebook podcast community for support.
Then I took a prescription drug called NyStaten to kill the fungus even stronger along with herbal remedies and diet But the detox was too strong and I ended up with extremely itchy scalp so I stopped taking the NyStaten and I am back onto the antifungal diet with oil of oregano and olive leaf.
I am posting that asthma and allergies can be illuminated, reduced and healed. All from oil of oregano and olive leaf with an antifungal diet which means no carbs no sugar's no alcohol. Asthma and allergies are fungal yeast or mold based.
Many diseases are fungus yeast mold parasites causing diabetes cancer and a whole other list of conditions. It is upsetting that our medical system has us on all these drugs that were making me angry depressed crazy and not healing my condition or educating me that my foods were feeding the fungus.
I could barely walk up a flight of stairs over this past winter and spring. Once getting on the antifungal diet and taking the oil of oregano I was able to almost run up a flight of steps for the first time in years easily. Now I'm starting all over again to regain that and improve it more and more.
I hope this post of information will help you as well.

Oregano oil for bronchitis and asthma:
After trying EVERYTHING I read about I came across a book by Dr. Cass Ingram in which she describes how wild oregano can be used in the treatment of different diseases. I started using the oil and a supplement with oregano and other spices and after a week I'm so much better, I rarely use my inhaler anymore. Amazing!
