The Stupid:
Last night I cooked dinner for my husband and I. One of the chicken breasts was significantly thicker, and even after putting it back in the oven briefly, it seemed a bit questionable. Stupidly, as I was starving, I decided it was
fiiiiine, and gave my husband the well-cooked breast.
I took one bite of mine, and the slightly rubbery texture was enough to have me spitting it back out and deciding to forgo the rest.
The Pain:
Regardless, I woke up at 3 am with sharp pains in my stomach, and an extremely active digestive system. Gurgles, rumbling, and diarrhea. Looks like one nibble was enough bacteria to get me down. (Great.)
Tried to get back to sleep, but my constantly active/upset stomach left me googling for any solutions. Most traditional medical sites said "keep hydrated, it'll resolve in 4-7 days." (Again. Great.)
The Game-Changer:
But THEN I stumbled across suggestions of Apple Cider Vinegar, which I just happened to have on hand as a podcast recommended it for a variety of uses. (Always listen to your podcasts, kids.)
I drank 2 tablespoons of ACV in a glass of cool water (surprised at how easy it was to drink, as I'm a picky person and my stomach was not well...) and felt my stomach quiet before I finished the glass. Placebo effect, I wondered? I fell into an easy sleep (finally). When I woke up in the morning, my stomach/digestive system was quiet, and I felt fairly normal.
I still have a touch of diarrhea, but the other unpleasant symptoms have definitely died down. I started this morning with another glass of water with ACV, and intend to take it today before I eat and if and when symptoms act up.
THRILLED with my new miracle cure! :D

I ate some chicken that had stayed out too long. The next morning I had a head ache, dizziness, and later nausea. I felt tired and laid down for several hours. I suffered the day then in the early evening, I found this site on the internet. I tried two spoonfuls of ACV to a half glass of water. It didn't work immediately. so after a few minutes, I tried 4 spoons to a half glass of water. I was expecting to vomit right away. After sitting down for a few minutes I decided to walk around. That helped and I vomited a second time. After that, the head ache, nausea, and dizziness subsided but did not go away, but the ACV did help within minutes.

I've found that when I have vomiting due to food poisoning, a tsp of apple cider vinegar in ginger ale stops it almost right away. Sometimes I have to take it a couple of times but it works amazingly.

4 hours after eating, I had sudden nausea and cramping. Upon finding this website, I took a shot glass full of ACV and was relieved of the contents of my stomach about 10 minutes later. Feeling much better now. Thanks to ACV!

2 Tbspoon Organic ACV as soon as you feel trouble in tummy from food poisoning than another teaspoon 3-4 hours later should do the trick. I get frequent problems with food (I travel a lot) so I must eat out a lot and I carry a bottle with me where ever I go now. I also carry cloves, comes in very handy as a mouth freshener after eating meals. Fresh cilantro also is good towards killing food poisoning bacteria but you have to eat a good handful of this herb.

I started to get food poisoning symptoms about 2 hours after eating at a restaurant last night. Stomach cramps and nausea. I found your remedy for apple cider vinegar and drank about 2 teaspoons straight right away. Felt better 10 minutes later, thank God. In the middle of the night, I felt the symptoms returning, but mild and drank a small glass of apple cider vinegar in water. Again the symptoms stopped in 10 minutes. Today I drank from my sports bottle a more diluted solution all day. Back to normal plus I feel very energized.

Started using ACV & honey (1 tbs Apple Cider Vinegar +1tsp wild honey) 2 x daily for acid reflux. 2 weeks later reflux gone. Got off my regimen and 2 months later got salmonella, more than likely from contact with my rabbits, ducks, or chickens. 2 days of misery and 15 lbs lighter, I remembered the ACV & honey. Within 20 minutes I was feeling better, 4 hours later I still had gas, but safe to pass! Now I take my medicine every morning and my BM's are regular, strain free, and so non messy? that it only requires 1 piece of paper to do my "paperwork" I now give the ACV to my critters daily too. (Sorry guys, no honey) Wonder if others have had similar results. Thanks for your most helpful site.

Tonight I think some meat was bad that I cooked. Within a couple hours I felt like death. I wasn't sure whether to sit on the toilet or lean over it, if you know what I mean. I just felt like I needed to puke it up but couldn't. Luckily I had just bought some raw organic apple cider vinegar. I drank 2 Tbs with water and literally within minutes I puked all of my contaminated dinner up and I now feel so relieved I could run a marathon. I believe Apple Cider Vinegar does just what your body needs it to do. Seriously a miracle cure right here.

Apple-Cider vinegar did work for food poisoning! My stomach pains went from a level 10 to a level 4 in about 10 minutes. I diluted two tablespoons in warm water and put a little honey in it. I was able to sleep during the night and woke up with no pain at all.

My wife was writhing on the bathroom floor in agony with food poisoning when I got home last night - 10 pm. Huge debilitating stomach cramps, eventual vomiting, cold/hot sweats and tingling hands. Slippery elm and psyllium husks precipitated vomiting, which was cleansing, but the excruciating pain and cramping did not settle until two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar had been ingested. Second vomit was nearly dry retching, so stomach was virtually emptied. This was followed by another two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. Now nearly midnight - she settled and slept with a full recovery by morning. Thank you apple cider vinegar and all those who led me to the remedy.

My friend called to say her sister was vomiting and may have food poisoning, she also said that ACV was a way to help fix it but it was late and the pharmacy was closed and she had no money, she was at the hospital, waiting to be seen by a doctor and I was dubious about ACV but I found your site and thought it must work so I raced down to the hospital and took her some ACV and she felt better within minutes of drinking 2 table spoons ACV diluted with cold water, it is best to get it into your stomach as fast as you can to prevent the bacteria from multiplying, that's what the acetic acid does. the bacterium produce poison that your body detects and forces out of your body by causing vomiting. thanks for confirming the value of traditional home remedies. I theorized that the acid was stopping bacteria from breeding which would help get rid of the bugs, I found a study that confirms that acetic acid retards the growth of some strains of bacteria but not all, here's the link:

I got really
bad food poisoning on a Friday evening, didn't sleep much that night with stomach cramps and felt bloated and as if I have a huge rock on my stomach. I could only sit or barely stand a couple hours after I ate the bad food. The pain and discomfort, which I won't go into details, lasted for about three days. I was exhausted and had little energy to get around. Just before I was about to call my Doctor to get antibiotics, I went online to read about food poisoning, came across this site remedies, read them, and decided to give ACV a try. I had nothing to lose and it is a very inexpensive trial. I took two gulps of the ACV. I know most of the testimonies suggest one tablespoon full, but I figure I was in a lot of pain, so went for it. The first gulp was like taking a shot of tequila; it burned some but it also felt good at the same time. Then waited a few seconds and took the second gulp; that one went smooth. I did feel the effect of the acid working its way into my stomach and intestines. I then had a different sensation in addition to my pain. Ten minutes later, I drank some water since I took more than recommended dose, and went about my routine. I can't figure out the exact time it took to stop all my pain, but I think it may have been about ten minutes or so total. The pain was gone. My intestines were a bit sore since I have been in pain for about three days. Next morning I woke up feeling well. I took two tablespoons full just to be sure I have killed the bacteria. I now feel very alert, with energy, so excited I discovered this website. I have been sharing my experience with everyone I know and care about. One more note, since ACV did the trick, I wonder what else I could use it for, so I decided to use it as a mouthwash after I brushed my teeth. It left my teeth and gums cleaned.
Thank you to whomever came up with this remedy. I am back to normal again.

This really worked for me. Thank you so much. After ingesting some rancid fish oil I experienced terrible stomach cramps, chills and diarrhea. My wife gave me Bway's recipe
Drank about 2-3 oz diluted by about 6oz of water (Diluted until it was just tolerable to drink).
and within about 20 min the cramps and chills were gone and diarrhea reduced to where I can rest now.
