After getting the cure for my daughter's bad cough and cold from this site, I came back for a cure for my 11 yr old son's food poisoning he got from eating McDonald's. He was sick in bed and I gave him 2 tablespoon of Heinz apple cider vinegar I had gotten from the grocery store earlier for my daughter's cough. After taking it, my son went fast to sleep and didn't even throw up. The next morning when he woke up, he was fine and ate breakfast without any other problems, now that's a miracle cure. He had food poisoning before and was throwing up constantly and up all night. Thanks to everyone involved at this site for being a blessing to us all. May god bless you!

Two hours after eating a chicken sandwich I came down with Food Poisoning. After vomiting for nearly an hour, I decided to research the web for a cure. I came across this site. Feeling the way I did I was willing to try almost anything. I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar. It burned going down! However, it was nothing a person could not handle. I felt bad for another 1 1/2 hours, but no more vomiting I was ready to try another dose, but decided to eat some crackers instead. I have to say I am feeling much better, not perfect, but better. I will definitely use this remedy again should food poisoning strike!

A couple of years ago, around the holiday season, I ate out in several restaurants within a week's time. So it's hard to pinpoint just which one caused my two months of diarrhea, and what sure looked like (yuck!) worms in the stools. Dumb me should have taken ACV along with me, but I hadn't done so. I saw a doc, and it wasn't the more serious worm/parasite infection (sigh of relief), and they prescribed some kind of medicine. In addition to the medicine, I also took apple cider vinegar. I had remembered the "Folk Remedies" book by Dr. Jarvis, and re-read it the part about food poisoning. After a while, things got back to normal. If I had taken it straight, it might have worked faster... never thought to do this. Since then, I diligently tote a small bottle of water and vinegar with me, and swill it down before attacking a restaurant meal. Friends expect it of me (they should do the same!). I'll be going to a 50th H.S. reunion in a few weeks, and wish there were ACV tablets I could carry with me on the plane. No such animal, though, right -- tablets, I mean? To lug bottles of vinegar with me might not be easy, but I'll try to figure out something. Can't live without it now.

I had diarrhea ( including blood ) almost constantly for 8 1/2 weeks after a " holiday " party at work. I received the advice of 6 MD's, 1 nurse practitioner,& several public health nurses. I had lab tests done. Besides all that , I am a registered nurse. No one knew what was wrong with me ( and yet they wanted to do even more expensive and invasive tests ). I could eat only certain things. When I would take prescription medication - I had to keep taking it. Over the counter medication stopped the diarrhea but left me in constant pain and drowsiness. This week I was blessed to remember something I heard a long time ago about apple cider vinegar. So I tried a few mouthfuls. I had already had about 6 bowel movements that day. I didn't have any more problems that day ( to my surprise ) even though I had eaten alot. My only problem now is to figure out what should I eat first...a pizza ?, chocolate malt ?, grilled cheese with tomato ? I am very grateful to the Almighty for creating such a thing as apple cider vinegar.

I was on a trip and got what appeared to be food poisoning. I was sick for over a week and was down to puking up bile and was very weak. I could not hold down water even. I went to the emergency room at my local hospital and they could not find anything wrong with me other than that I was dehydrated, of course. They gave me some rehydrating solutions intravenously and sent me home and told me to try to drink some soup bland food. I threw that up. Not to mention they charged me $100 dollars for doing nothing. I finally called a friend of mine that was an alternative practitioner (why did I not turn to him before I have asked myself) He told me I was too acidic and that my Hiatal Hernia was popped up. I was to take a few spoonfuls of Vinegar and push my Hiatel Hernia back down. I was literally well in about 15 minutes. It was possibly the only miracle I have ever really experienced in my life. I have been a believer in vinegar ever since.

I took a shot's worth of straight apple cider vinegar the moment I got home from a restaurant and felt a queasy stomach from the chicken I had eaten. I usually dilute apple cider vinegar in water, but knew this time it had to go down straight if it was to work fast. Remarkably, it stopped my queasy stomach within 5 minutes. I am certain I did not get food poisoning because the apple cider vinegar quickly destroyed the bacteria in my colon and stomach. Amazing!

I came to this site after being released from the hospital. I had been hospitalized from 2 days because of bacterial gastroenteritis (food poisoning) and severe dehydration that resulted. Needless to say, I was depleted, weak and tired the day I got out. After reading about Apple Cider Vinegar that first day out, I decided to give it a try and drank 1 tbsp straight. Within an hour or two I was bouncing around the house! I left, went shopping for hours, came home and did chores, started calling up friends... it was really amazing!

Same goes for me. Geez I was feeling dizzy the movement I woke up still went to the gym figured just over slept. Oh boy then I had lunch and wam. Had the runs felt like puking but couldn't. I took oil of oregano first that didn't do anything. Then I googled and found this. Had some at home. Within 10 mins of taking I threw up a lot and I mean a lot. I still got the chills and a mild fever but seems to be getting better. Don't trust lukewarm food. Well done from now on.

Thanks for the info. I think I undercooked my chicken last night. Not quite sure if the inside reached 165. Within a few hours my husband and I had sore throats and my stomach was ever so slightly irritated as well. At first I drank some diluted organic ACV, then had some liquid cal-mag-zinc, but then after reading that the acid kills the bacteria, and knowing calcium is a buffer, I downed more diluted ACV passed the moment it made me feel like gagging. The stomach ache was different now. I think I drank too much ACV, but at least it probably killed most of the bacteria to bring it to a safe level.

I made some salmon for dinner around 7pm, and it seemed underdone when I was eating it but I didn't care (I was hungry! ). I'm not going to make that mistake again. I woke up at 5:00 with my stomach in a knot and I knew what was going to happen. I first threw up at 6, then felt much better, but about 30 minutes later I started feeling sock again. While I was sitting/laying on the bathroom floor waiting for the inevitable.
I did a quick search and found this site on my phone. I have to say that I was pretty skeptical about Apple Cider Vinegar but when I looked at all the success stories I thought I should give it a shot. I took two swigs from the bottle and thought I was going to vomit, but I didn't. In about 10 minutes I could feel my stomach starting to feel better. It's been 2 hours now and I just took one more swig, for good measure, and I'm slowly eating some wheat toast and sipping water on the couch in confidence. Thank you all for posting, this remedy is truly remarkable.

It's possible that it was a placebo effect, or it's also possible that maybe the ACV that you had drank earlier started to take effect right around the same time that you decided to pour it on your stomach, so it seemed like pouring it on your stomach is what helped.
I could be wrong and maybe it did really work by taking it externally but it's hard to believe and it doesn't make sense as to how that could be.

My grandma just contracted food poisioning and she is 92 and unable to drink the Apple Cider Vinegar (which we all swear by) so instead I went to the health food store and purchased the ACV capsules, I just thought that this would help anyone that is disgusted by the flavor or smell...since it is in a powdered form inside of a capsule.

last night around midnight, a few hours after dinner (we had shrimp, spicey ahi tuna wraps, ahi poke and seared ahi poke (the seared was leftovers from Friday) i woke up to severe cramps. what followed was a very long night of cramps and going to the toilet. i knew enough that everytime i went, to follow up with some water to keep hydrated. however it was still a very long night. then about 7 in the morning, it got worse, now i was sitting on the toilet and needing a place to throw up, well i leaned to the tub..wasn't a pretty picture.
anyway, i had to go to work, is the nature of my job unfortunatley. so i get there, still misrable. i then think, maybe i can find a cure. so then i found this site. i took the first dose about an hour ago. the frequency of the cramps died down, but i was still getting them. i also have went to the bathroom once since taking it. however i am feeling better, just very tired.
next time i will have this on hand as i think that if taken right away, you get better results.
aloha and mahalo for your posts!

UPDATE: it is now Friday around noon and i am all better. the ACV didn't totaly get rid of the food poisoning, so it is not a "miricle cure". what it did do was make it bearable. it reduced the cramps in frequency, duration and intensity. The cramps lasted so many days, up till yesterday even (got sick 1:00am monday morning, still had cramps thursday morning) but each time they would get bad again, i just would take another shot of ACV. before i took it, i couldn't sleep. but then, take a shot and crapms would be reduced enough to sleep for awile. I strongly belive it helped ALOT and if i had taken when i first got the symptoms, it might have been a "miricle" cure.
mahalo again to everyione that posted.

Just wanted to say thank you for posting the apple cider vinegar cure for food poisoning...I took one tablespoon and began to feel better within the hour but I would like to add that a piece of burnt toast helps to take the cramps away almost instantly.

I've been up since 2 am...it's now 5!...just plastered to the toilet, must have been the chicken I had for lunch. This is all very new for me, I've never had food poisoning...but this has got to be it. I have had the worse diarrhea and cramps.. oh the cramps.. you've got to be kidding me! and I cannot miss my class in the morning, so i've been curled in a ball going back and forth to the bathroom, when i jumped online to see if there was anything I could do, and i found the acv suggestion. I crawled downstairs and took 2 tbs w/ in about 5 min of eachother..in about 30 min the cramps started to ease up, my stomach is still queasy, but i can handle that, it was the gut wrenching cramps, oh thank you for the tip! Seriously...thanks!

Food Poisoning: My wife Melissa had a severe case of food poisoning today and ACV fixed everything! When she woke up this morning she was feeling very queasy and had diarrhea right before she started throwing up. We had to be out the door early this morning - I was taking her to an office meeting while I went to the mall. She was so sick she couldn't even smoke a cigarette (she's a pack a day smoker), and she didn't want a coffee... or even water for that matter... We have about a 30 minute drive to her work and she never lets me drive but she was so sick she pulled over and threw up then told me to drive. In the hour and a half she was at work she threw up 4 more times. We headed home and we had to pull over twice because she couldn't even make the last few blocks to the house. We tried gravol earlier but she threw it up. I bought some chewable gravol (upon the advice of the pharmacist because she couldn't keep water down) and then she threw that up too. I put her to bed and went to the store for ACV after reading these reviews. I came home and she was throwing up and heaving again! About 30 seconds after she finished throwing up I made her take the ACV and the nausea INSTANTLY subsided. She then slept for 2 hours and when she got up to have a soak in the bath she said "I can't believe it! I don't know what's in that stuff but I feel 100% better!!!" (still a little sore, of course, from the retching). We'll keep ACV in the house from now on for emergencies like this and I think this will be our new sworn remedy for food poisoning!!

I had been a bit drained and tired all day. About an hour ago I was shakey, a bit nauseous and weak. I sent my bf out to get me some apple juice. The moment I had 1 cup of apple juice and 2 TBL spoons of ACV, i felt INSTANT relief. I was definitely not expecting it. My bf had food poisoning or some kind of stomach bug over the past day and I was scared I might get it too. I went ahead and took the concoction and I feel fine besides the heartburn which will reside in a few minutes. I dont have as much gas in my stomach and my shakiness has lessened. :) I hope I had enough liquid with the ACV since this is my first time trying it.
