This recipe worked for me to dissolve a large kidney stone stuck in the right ureter just above the bladder and allowed me to avoid surgery:
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- 2 cans (14. 5 oz each) cut asparagus rinsed in colander to remove canning salt
- 2 cups real lemon juice
- Sweetener to taste
Puree all ingredients in blender until liquified.
Drink the entire contents through a straw as soon as possible.

Hey Paul: That's a good recipe for knocking out the kidney stones... The key is the lemon juice and I like your addition of asperagus. Probably the asperagus is helpful because it becomes very slick when wet so as the "slick" part is going thru the kidney and the acid from the lemon is cutting the edges of the stone, the stone is then able to move. Similar is a recipe that uses Lemon juice with olive oil. Same idea.
I've used just the lemon juice (six a day, spread thru the day) one half lemon in glass of water/meaning you drink 12 glasses of water with one half lemon juice in each glass. That is repeated over ten to fourteen days. My stones usually pass in two to four days. I use fresh lemons by the way but once when I didn't have access used lime juice in a plastic container in the frig. That works too.
But I like the idea of adding a "slickening" agent; oil or asperagus.

I think I'd rather have a little salt than sweetener. I don't sugar my veggies. 👍🏻

I want to puree asparagus to aid in kidney stones. Cooked or uncooked? With lemon juice?
