I took Tigger to the vet and found out he had struvite cystals - this meant he needed Cranberry juice. Was administering 3ml of undiluted cranberry juice to him every hour, and as he couldn't pee much initially, by the evening (after many hours), he could pee. He was peeing significant puddles :)
I urge you to find out exactly what type of crystals your cat has and then administer the proper treatment! Hope this helps.
My cat had blockages at three years old and the vet wanted to operate. They couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't come back. I did some research and found out that vitamin C and cranberry got rid of the two kinds of crystals. I started giving my cat vitamin C capsules that I was able to open up and cranberry pills that I was able to open and mix the power to with the vitamin c. One year later I went back to the vet and they said that he had no crystals or blockages. He never had a problem again and live to 19 years old. I also gave him cat food for cats with urinary problems and distilled water because the town I am in has a lot of problems with the water. I dont even drink it. I had four cats. I gave them 500 milligrams of C and 450 of cranberry. When he was the only one left because he lived the longest, I gave him 100 of C and 100 cranberry. If you give them too much vitamin C you'll know because you get diarrhea from taking to much. It may take a month to see the results.
