Flax Seed Oil

I find that taking Flax Seed Oil (a few teaspoons a day, spread throughout the course of the day) radically helps the symptoms of my PMS. Also a calcium/magnesium liquid supplementation helps me a lot as well. Oh yes, also exercise! Can't believe I almost forgot about that. If I don't exercise regularly towards the onset of my period, I get foul tempered, especially when I drive.

After my last period ended, I decided to try flax seed oil (highest lignan count that you can buy) for PMS symptoms. At the very start of my cycle, I started to take 1 tablespoon of flax in cottage cheese once, then twice a day after my system got used to it. I found that my stools were loose if 1 tablespoon of flax in anything other than cottage cheese. A week later I ran out of whole milk cottage cheese and opted for low fat cottage cheese. Low fat and flax oil was harder to digest and my stools became loose again. Make sure you take flax oil with whole milk, organic cottage cheese if possible! At any rate (and the main point of this story), hardly any PMS symptoms appeared! Mood was much more even keeled throughout the month and no breast tenderness whatsoever. In January I had tried ACV and Lugol's iodine with some success, but the flax has been the best remedy so far for PMS.

I totally cured my PMS, as I used to have severe anxiety, temper flare ups and acne. I paint myself with 2% tincture of iodine every AM & PM. Noticed the change within 2 days! Also, my allergies went away, my teeth weren't sensitive anymore.

Recipe: Paint about a 2" X 2" area on your stomach area, always moving the spot around to different locations (or the skin gets dried out and itchy). Just two days ago I forgot to paint in the morning, by evening I had a acne starting to form on my chin, I quickly painted my tummy, and when I awoke the next day it was gone!

If your paintings don't absorb then you can put off painting, maybe every other day. It means your iodine level is okay, maybe you really don't need any. However, I read that 80% of Americans are iodine defficient. They used to put iodine in all of our flour products (before 1966), then they discovered bromide, it is easier, cheaper, less messy and makes ingredients mix well, so it's in all of our bread, flour products (except "sprouted grain" breads/products & 100% organic) cakes, even Gatorade and Mountain Dew (it was found in Dansani water too)!

Fluoride, chlorine, bromide & iodine are all halogens, their atomic weight determines which one deletes the other, fluoride being the winner (doesn't that make you happy). Iodine is the loser, so all three delete iodine. That's why we are all deficient, we cannot escape fluoride, chlorine and bromide! So, paint paint paint, you only absorb what you need!

My girlfriend suffers from bipolar mania and PMS, and I've tried hard to figure out why she can be the most perfect, wonderful, loving girlfriend for months, then turn into a mean, vicious, heartless, remorseless monster and kick me out of the house. Then she started taking an herb called fenugreek to increase milk production while breastfeeding. Within less than two weeks she transformed back into the wonderful, loving woman I fell in love with and it was better than ever! After doing more research I determined that the culprit was a neuropeptide hormone called oxytocin, the love hormone. It's responsible for milk production, bonding, trust, openness, reduction in stress/anxiety, and to some extent libido. It was a beautiful transformation! Apparently there was an intranasal form of oxytocin available previously, but now you have to get it custom made, but fenugreek seems to promote its production. I guess the key is to make sure that she takes it regularly while her oxytocin levels are high and she's still reasonable! Otherwise the bad version of her may refuse to take it!

Lately, I have been turning into a WITCH with PMS. I just can´t seem to control myself and my emotions---the frustration and anger. My mom`s been having me take 2 valerian root capsuls every several hours, and it is the only thing that calms me right down. It´s wonderful! I am so thankful to have found this website. For years I have had terrible PMS with severe breast pain, depression, etc. for two weeks each month and also terrible cramps during my period. I started taking a combination of 1 TBSP molasses and 2 TBSP ACV in water twice daily about one week ago (two days before my period). I was very pleasantly surprised to find that my flow was cut in half. I was disappointed, however, after everything I've read here, that my cramps were as awful as they normally are. I will keep taking the mixture twice a day in the hopes it will lessen my breast pain and cramps in the future.

I take ACV 2TBS in 8oz water taking sips all through the day. I was bloated all month and had water retention 10 days before my period. I started taking ACV about 3 weeks ago after finding this awesome website. This month, I had a short, productive period minus cramps, bloating, lethargy and moodiness!!! Hallelujah!! Also no more mood swings during the rest of the month. Been quite happy, actually, no negative thoughts or despair at all. I attribute this with the ACV. I started taking the apple cider vinegar to lose weight. And accidentally discovered it cures PMS too! Usually I feel lousy the week before my period with bloating, acne break outs and a really bad mood. I used to count down the days to my period, becaus I knew then I would feel some relief. The past couple months my period has snuck up on me because I didn't have any of the usual symptoms. I feel like a normal person again. I wanted to share this info with other PMS sufferers. The formula that works for me is:

2 tbsp ACV
1/4 tsp baking soda

Ok it just keeps getting better.I have been on the acv for 3 months now for arthrtis pain with awesome results.However I have found that my PMS symptoms have gone also.My periods have come with no warning because of no bloating,iratability,or crazy cravings,not even fatigue.Acv is a miracle in a bottle. I take 2 tablespoons twice a day in juice or sprite even water,drink it with a straw so it does not really get on your teeth. Sweet Blessings.

i have to say that the most amazing experience i had with apple cider vinegar was when i used it on my swollen breast. sometimes my breasts swell a bit with pms, but this time my left breast swelled and continued to swell over the course of 3 months. it was weird and painful. after reading on the internet that acv helps with swelling, soaked a washcloth in diluted acv and secured it with a piece of plastic and a sports bra and slept with it on. the next morning the swelling was completely gone, it didn't hurt anymore, and never happened again since. horray!

I stopped and started using ACV again, I noticed that when my monthy cycle came, it was lighter than usual, no PMS either, I was pleasantly surprised, no cramping, nothing. I am hoping that since I have started back on the ACV my blood pressure will be regulated again, and my heart palpitations will disappear.

I started doing the acv rtreatment 4 days ago after finding your site. I wasn't doing it for anything specific, I just thought I'd try it and see what happened.

Today (day 4), I noticed that my period zits have nearly completely disappeared. My regular unexplained stomach/bowel bloating has nearly completely gone. Anything I eat doesn't hurt me anymore, but I have kept to my modified Atkins for weight loss. My skin is usually pretty good, but it's just lovely today. And the stubborn blackheads on my cheeks and nose area are much reduced already. Various scrubs and masks have failed to clear them in the past. I've been exercising every day for the past 4 weeks and I'm already losing weight and size, but I want to see after about a week if the acv pushes things faster along. I found acv with honey in the same bottle at my local supermarket and I'm drinking that. Then I bought just plain acv to use as a toner to help my skin from the inside and out.

As for the tooth enamel issues, I have a simple remedy. I take 3 tablespoons 3 times a day without fail (it's also helped with no more cravings and in between meal munchies - all gone). I bend my tongue so it has a well shaped indentation in it, pour the acv onto that and flick it down my throat without anything having touched my teeth. But afterwards, I rinse with my mouth with water just to be safe. For the lunch time dose when I'm at work, I put the acv in about a cup of water in a water bottle and use a straw to drink it down as quickly as possible, then I rinse my mouth with plain water again. So far no enamel issues and I'm not expecting any. I hope this has helped somebody and I will post again in about a week's time with any more results. For those people who haven't had any success with anything, keep trying, up your dosage, watch what you eat, be honest with yourself about what you put in your mouth, and give yourself some time. It's not an instant cure and everyone is different. If it's not working for you, then you may just be more resistant than most. Keep trying and don't lose hope. It will work. You might just need to give yourself 4 or 5 weeks, instead of just one, especially if your diet is normally a nutritional nightmare. Good luck.
