Boron

Boron helps certain types of arthritic joint pain. I take 3mg once or twice a day in pill form, along with Magnesium 400mg / D3 at 5,000 IU / and some Calcium (as I don't eat dairy). I know that taking CA is under dispute by some - but I find that I get muscle aches when I don't take it for a few days, so I must need it to some degree. I try to take less CA than I do MG however.
Boron is the key to relieving joint pain though - It is nothing short of amazing.
Google "Boron and Arthritis" to read about it. Lots of info here on EC too.

Chicken Cartilage
Posted by John (Auckland, 0626) on 10/21/2011
Hi, I was sharing the Cherry cure for arthritis I shared on here previously with someone and they told me about a doctor who did a trial and found that chicken cartilage cured arthritis in people who were in such a bad state some were schedualed to have limbs amputated, in just weeks they were playing sports!
While looking for info online I found this which I suspect is a different study but might be the same one:
Harvard medical school did an experiment on 29 people, giving them a tablespoon full of chicken cartilage a day. After 10 days all of the patients had relief of pain and swelling, after 30 days the patients could use joints with no problems and after 90 days 28 of the 29 patients were clinically cured. But what gets to me on this, Harvard said that the "drug" was beneficial. How is chicken cartilage a drug??
BTW I also heard from someone else that reported that fruits that start with P are great for helping breathing problems for what it's worth.

A short term remedy to help the pain is castor oil with DMSO. That means one part castor oil and one part DMSO, for simplicity. Applied to her leg it will relieve pain in minutes, if not then she needs allopurinol 100 mg x 3 times a day. A long term treatment is needed, but we'll discuss later. The energy is required CoQ10 300 mg to have any effect.

Devils Claw

I have been on devils claw now for around 3 to 4 weeks. I take 1200mg ( 2 capsules) morning and night. Since being on the medication my pain is still there but much less. It is definitely worth giving it a try. It is widely used in Germany and France and has undergone clinical trials.

Pectin

For the past 6 months I've had throbbing knee pain, especially when I lay down to sleep at night. I had heard about C_____, or fruit pectin (used to make jellies and jams) can be purchased in any supermarket, stopped one individual from having a knee operation. I've been taking one tablespoon mixed with any fruit drink (you can mix it with anything really) at night and it seems to be working!! Certainly worth a try, especially since I know I don't have much fruit in my diet. Will keep you posted.

I had chronic neck pain and a "knot" in my neck. I ate some coconut frozen yogurt with fresh coconut on it and the knot is gone as well as most of the pain!

Sara has your mom tired apple cider vinegar for her arthritis. If you look at the arthritis remedies page on this website many people have cured their arthritis by drinking ACV with honey and bicarb of soda.
Also for the deep muscle pain, magnesium oil rubbed in the area should help with that or magnesium chloride in bath water or even epson salts would help, although magnesium chloride is better and longer lasting.

Yesterday, I bought a "Heat Wrap" for my mom who is 76 years old. This Heat Wraps is for powerful pain relief and deep muscle relaxation. She is pretty much healthy, but she suffers from Arthritis on her back and both knees. As soon as she put the wrap on her back the heat wrap started getting warm, and she could not stand it for more than 45 minutes. She had to remove the wrap, and she felt a burning sensation on her the bases of her both feet. Now, she suffers from a great amount of pain and she does not have any energy at all. I called to take her to her doctor, but he is on leave till next week. What do you think is the problem and what natural remedy will be helpful in her case?
Glyconutrients, Omega 3

I had arthritis in my fingers, painful, red, swollen. I started taking glyconutrients and a very pure Omega 3 twice a day and within two weeks I was pain free up until now. I started using these products May 2010 and my whole life changed for the better. Hot flushes gone, skin like a baby, no more flu and just feeling vibrantly healthy everyday. Will never go without it.
Borax

Hi Everyone... Here is a research paper by Dr Rex Newham, an Australian botanist and his own quest to discover the cure for his own arthritis at age 35 in the 70s and 80s. This is a demographic nutritional study, worldwide, which contains some very interesting facts and statistics about the demographic distribution of borax or boron in the soil. He also allays any poison fears about borax. He also gives good reasons why most modern soils today lack boron or borax in the food chain.

Golden Grapes Soaked in Gin

Hi, I hope this remedy is posted, even though it requires Gin (alcohol). I have researched this and recently tried it myself.
Soak a cup or more of yellow/golden/white raisins in about 1/2 cup of Gin. Make sure it's not the least expensive gin, or the most expensive. It is suppose to have something to do with the Juniper berries used to make the gin. Anyway you soak the raisin in a tightly covered container for at least a week. Then you take 9 a day, 3 in the morning, 3 mid day, 3 in the evening.
I have been bothered by arthritis pain not only in my right knee, but had tennis elbow or tendonitis in my left elbow. Also since my arthritis was very painful, I began walking strangely. After seeing my own MD then a sports medicine specialist, who wanted to 'inject' the site. I went to my holistic acupuncturist. After his treatment my knee felt much better, but my calf muscles began to hurt tremendously. My good friend and massage therapist said she thought it might be a ripped/torn calf muscle. It felt like a very tight charlie horse anytime weight was put on it.
My boss had been telling me about the gin soaked raisins, but I never bought the ingredients to make it up. After this July 4th holiday weekend, she brought me in a cured bottle. After just 2 days of 9 raisins, both my calf and elbow feel so much better. I will continue to use what she gave me and then replenish as necessary.
I do hope this gets posted. It works!
Thanks so much for this site.. Because of ACV I have not been sick in almost 3 years, or had a headache in the same time frame. Thanks to all!!

Cinnamon and Honey

My husband began taking 1 tablespoon of Really Raw Honey and 1 teaspoon of ceylon (sweet) cinnamon about 5-6 weeks ago for his arthritis in his knees. He takes this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and does not eat for at least an hour afterward. He could see a definite improvement after the first week and every week since. He now has no pain in his knees at all, unless he stands up too long at one time. Before, his knees were always in pain.
Turmeric

★★★☆☆BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS
Yes, I agree, tumeric is the go to but I was advised to take 900 mg a day. This dosage works wonders but be prepared not to sleep at night. It works like an over the counter diet pill. Your brain never shuts down. I am still trying to figure out another dosage that will let me sleep plus work on the pain.
Poke Berries

To Kathryn in Tulsa-- you are absolutely right about it being the wrong time for Poke Berries. There will probably not be any in the wild until mid to late summer. My late husband knew what Poke Salad (as he called it) was. I was a bit reluctant to eat something growing in the wild, especially if you had to boil it 3 times to get it tamed down enough to eat. I like my boiled Poke Salad best scrambled with eggs! It tastes much like strong spinach.
His father was born in the Oklahoma Territory and that is who he learned about Poke Salad from.
We lived in the country near Baton Rouge, LA when my husband spotted some growing wild behind the house. I live in Waco, TX now and there was some growing on a vacant lot down the street from me last summer so it grows quite prolifically in the central US for sure. Perhaps you can find some seeds online and plant them for plants and berries this summer.
If the powers that be have their way we will have laws passed banning all except very weak prescription vitamins (Codex Ailamentarium). We are going to have to learn how to survive with what we know about medicines from Mother Nature. People survived before synthetic drugs came on the scene, we may have to go back to natural cures.
I found this reference online"This plant contains chemicals called the "pokeweed mitogens" that are being studied for use in treatments of autoimmune diseases including AIDS and rheumatoid arthritis". Another site mentions using the pokeberry dye in their solar power units. Another site mentions making pokeberry wine for arthritis. I did not find any mention of seeds for sale but the best site I did find is by a herbalist and has a lot of comments from other people that use the berries for gout, children's medicine made as a tincture for a cold, assorted other things. That site was www.wisewomantradition.com/about.html. Google said there was over 50, 000 references to poke berries so you may find seeds online with some reading. Good luck in your quest.
Poke Berries
Posted by Kathryn (Tulsa, Ok ) on 03/03/2011
Hello! My dad called me the other day to ask me to check online for poke berries to help him with severe arthritus pain he's been suffering with even with medication. I had never heard of such a thing being taken for that. And, like most everyone else, we had always been taught that they were poisonus! So, I started digging and came across this page. In my search I noticed that, even though it is available in the wild, no one mentioned where it might be purchased. Since we are not currently in a growing season, where might one PURCHASE poke berries to take till he can harvest his own? Alos, are there any pointers on harvesting?
Thank you so much for offering this thread and opportunity to reply!

Hi thanks so much for all the info you've researched and shared its making what I think is a big difference as a someone only recently diagnosed with RA.
My query is I am taking along with probiotics vit k2 vit d3 and borax with magnesium tablets as well. The magnesium supplement is a mag calcium complex with the ingredients as mag. As oxide citrate. Is this right as I am worried that taking calcium as bottle label suggests is interfering with the healing process.
Many thanks Chris

I started Honey and Cinnamon a month ago, and the pain in my knees stopped bothering me after two weeks, but not all the way. At four weeks, no pain. I tried stopping the Hon & Cin, and after one week, the pain was back. Does this mean, I have to take it for life? I'm 69, and plan to live another 33 years. Thank You...
