Asthma and Vocal Cord Dysfunction

Last year, I found a lot of very valuable information on your site, and as a result took several steps to improve my health. I had asthma as a child, and it still occurs occasionally when triggered by outdoor allergies. Last year I had major asthma problems all year, which was uncharacteristic for me. Allergy/asthma medications did not help - in fact I got progressively worse. After being diagnosed with reflux (which I now believe was caused by these medications), I tried reflux medicines, and again, continued to get worse. After viewing your site, I managed to get off of all the asthma and reflux medications, and have used ACV with good results. However, this year, I began experiencing asthma again, and have since learned about Vocal Cord Dysfunction (also called Paradoxical Vocal Cord Movement). I think your readers would benefit from considering this as a possible cause of their breathing difficulties. I've been told that it is actually rather common, and while there are specialists who know about it, it is not yet well known by the medical profession.
