Let me start with the story.
160 years ago a Hindu Saint gave an Herbal Medicine Formula to Philanthropist in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India, with the promise that he can administer the medicine to others only at free of cost.
Since, then the Bathini Goud Family(the original philanthropist) administer the Bathini Mrugasira Fish medicine to the people of India and all over the world for free for nearly 160 years from the year 1845.
The uniqueness of this medicine is the herbal paste is kept in the mouth of the baby Murrel Fish and given to the patient. The patient has to swallow the whole medicine along with live tiny Fish.
Bathini Fish Medicine is served and administered on a specific day called "Mrigishira Karthi", which is fixed each year by astrologers and normally coincides with the arrival of monsoon rains, the first or second week of June. Bathini Fish Medicine is given on Mrigishira Karti Nakshatra. Three doses of the extra medicine is also provided to patients, which is to be taken on three successive kartis: Arudra Karthi, Punnavasu Karthi and Pushymi Karti, these days being spaced each fifteen days, making a total of 45 days. After taking Bathini Fish Medicine the patient has to be under strict diet control for 45 days.
Indian herbal medicines (siddha, ayurvedha) is more potent on a particular date based on the planets, moons and stars. It is because of the Planets and stars centrepetal force, gravitiy that resonates the energies of the herb on that particular date providing maximum therapeutic value, which modern science has never even thought of.
This Fish Medicine camp is conducted only once a year. 24 hours non stop to serve nearly 50000 people. People from 6 months to 80 years are benefited from this medicine.
