Cansema

I have suffered from Basel cell carcinomas for more than 20 years. Blond, fair skin, painting and boat building industry and many years in the sun. I have tried nearly every natural remedy, apple cider vinegar, ozone, aloe with colloidal silver, baking soda, milkweed, coconut oil, hydrogen peroxide but none of them gave a complete result except for Deep tissue Cansema from alphaomegalabs. Once, I got lazy as my source for cansema stopped using it because of pharmaceutical intimidation. So my Dr prescribed aldara cream.

What a mistake that was, a week later I spent 2 weeks on life support at an Auckland hospital. Suffice to say Deep tissue cansema delivers perfect results at a very inexpensive cost, about 50 cents per carcinoma. Yes it leaves a hole and can hurt during the process which takes 12 to 18 days, but fill it with aloe vera gel and a few weeks later, done and dusted never to come back. Much better than life support in hospital.

I use magnabloc magnets to control any pain. There are many counterfeit cansemas on the market so beware.

As a follow up, I think the punch biopsy took a core out of the BCC which helped the VCO/BS do its work more quickly. It was also easier to apply as it could easily remain on the top my head. Photo record available. Still no recurrence after 3 years. Thank you EC and all your contributors!

I had a bcc on my scalp. Had surgery but it came back with a leison that grew larger. I researched and found a lady who had cured her mother's bcc in the same spot as mine with baking soda and coconut oil. She gave a pictorial ongoing account so I tried it and put it on every day and cleaned it at night. It was tender but gradually came off a little at a time. After several weeks the last part came off today. My scalp is red but I am going to put aloe vera on it. Now I'm hoping my hair will grow back there. Not sure if there is any of it remaining under my scalp but guess I'll find out.

I have had basal cells, dark black spots as large as a dime in my hairline around my face. Last week I started taping sliced, fresh garlic over them overnight and sometimes for 24 hours.

Tonight I used tweezers (My fingernails too short) and removed the most prominent ones.

Was using essential oils before the garlic and was slowly fading them.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide
Posted by Nanowriter (Hotspot, Texas) on 08/11/2015

Hi Denise, often the lesion will look bigger because it will get inflamed and swell. If this is the case, it should get smaller with time. It's my belief that the cancer cells get the signal to die when they are treated and then the body has to work to get rid of all the dead cells. so the lesion swells up with lymph and white blood cells, etc. It is normal for it to look worse before it gets better.

I'm seeing this so late as I search for help with my BCC on my nose and here is what I found with Hydrogen Peroxide. Use Essential Oxygen brand 3% Food Grade HP ONLY!! The cheap brown plastic bottles found everywhere are from China and have been found to contain very high levels of toxic metals. If you don't have a very good small organic market near you, iHerb and Vitacost used to sell it with iHerb being the least costly. You can also purchase direct from manufacturers website. It is much more expensive $10+ for a bottle but if you restrict it only for medicinal use it pays for itself. I use the cheap stuff only to clean my toilet etc.

I was just diagnosed with basal cell on the tip of my nose. I used a paste of coconut oil and baking soda (1 tsp of each) as often as I could. I also first swabbed the area with apple cider vinegar. I am happy to say after about 6 weeks, I am free of any cancer on my nose. It works and looks completely normal.

I am a 63 year old male, this is my 1st post here. I have had a small scab slightly above and at the end of my right eyebrow for about 3 or 4 months. The scab had some raised tissue surrounding the scab. My 1st thought was BCC, so I started to look for alternative treatment since even my doctor said nothing about it while I was having a general checkup a few months back. I came across this web site and decided to try the H2O2 and ACV treatments.

On the 21st of august I started to apply 3% H2O2 to the area with a Q-tip. I was very careful to only apply H2O2 to the scab and raised tissue area. I would apply H2O2 every hour and the H2O2 created a small depressed area in the skin about 3/8in in diameter all the scab was removed as well as the raised tissue that surrounded the scab.

I then applied a paste of baking soda and allowed it to dry. I covered the soda with a small band-aid. The area was very pink and the applications did sting a little. for the next 2 days I would apply H2O2 3 or 4 times a day, covering the area with baking soda and a band-aid.

On the 4 day I decided to intoduce ACV to the white scab that was about 3/8in diameter. The ACV turned the area black and apeared to dissolve part of the blackened area. I continued to apply ACV every cpl of hours on days 4 thru 6. After the dark scab was completely removed, I then kept applying baking soda paste on days 4,5,6,7,8

The baking soda seemed to assist with generating pink normal skin cells. On days 9 and 10 I left the area open to promote healing with the addition of a small amount of ointment to assist the healing process.

It is now day 11 and the 3/8in area is still slightly depressed but no scab exists or any raised tissue that formally surrounded the scab area. I do keep the 3/8in area covered with a very small band-aid and a tiny bit of ointment to keep the area soft. I am very encouraged by these results in only 11 days. There is still a slight depression of the 3/8in area but I am optimistic that this will slowly return to normal appearance in time.

I will continue to report any changes to the area that has been treated.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Donna, You need to be aggressive with the H2O2. I rub vigorously with a q-tip turning the bad skin white and/or eventually breaking the skin and getting it to bleed. I do not let it recover and stay with it, attacking it 2 or 3 times a day. When I'm eventually satisfied that I have perhaps finished it off, I let the scab form, stop with the h2O2, and put some iodine on it once or twice or three times over the next days, to soak down beneath the scab to help the new skin form.

Sometimes I have to go back at it again, if the skin does not look completely normal, as the skin surrounding it. I am not afraid to make it bleed, because that is part of the attack and the eventual cure, I believe. Sometimes it does not want to bleed but if I'm convinced I do not have it all, I keep digging until it does. Sometimes I'm not sure after the scab has come off, but the test is more h2o2 to see if any of the skin still turns white. If so, then I go back on the attack. I had to learn to not be afraid to dig in, and sometimes over and over, 2 or 3 or even 4 times, but each time I knew I was getting closer. I don't let those around me persuade me to stop when I have it on the run. The process can take weeks and even months.

BCC on Face

With home treatments apple cider vinegar or baking soda in coconut oil how to treat and when to stop are imprecise. Will the lesion heal while being treated? Do you treat until there is no or little reaction from the tissues? Is the opening up and bleeding a normal part of the process?

Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda and Coconut Oil:

Have used the described protocol several times now on small BCCs, for 7 days of treatment. It's worked each time.

To reduce the pain, try earthing:

  • Attach an earthing pad to the skin near the treatment area. or put the treated body part on an earthing pad.
For earthing equipment and how to earth: https://betterearthing.com.au/
  • Make sure that the contact of your skin with the earthing pad is firm.
E.g. when treating your left shin, lie on your left side with the left leg on the earthing pad and put your right leg onto your left leg for extra weight (the weight of the left leg on the earthing pad by itself wasn't enough for me to take the pain away).

I discovered this by chance. It's cut down half an hour of intense sting from ACV to just 5 minutes, and helped me with the baking soda and H2O2 treatments, too.

@Patches; I remember reading an article from a retired 70 year old dermatologist that said to use the following:

8oz pure water

1 tablespoon sea salt

3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Use this solution as a compress on the skin for cancerous lesions at niight before bed. Do it for 10-22 days.

Seemed to open and was a lot more than what I thought. So repeating….Less lesion, but still there. Repeating the process. I did about 14 days and then let it dry. I am repeating at present. I will try the recommendation. Thanks again. I wonder if I will will know if the root is gone like the person below asked. Time will tell as I keep at it.

And also I have info that samples sent to normal lab coming positive for cancer get also sent to one of the 2 USA labs that test for fungus, those same cancer samples come back as fungus. So yes, your hunch seems right.

Hi I used Curaderm for a BCC near my eye, which had previously been excised 3 times yet still returned over a 6 year period. A surgeon offered mohs treatment once the third excision had failed to remove it completely. This involved two invasive operations, the first the mohs procedure followed the following day by facial reconstruction. The whole procedure sounded horrific and I decided to go down the alternative route. Curaderm was very painful yet effective for a while. However it reappeared again within 2 years. This was when I found this forum and have and I am still treating it with a combination of Diluted ACV, Hydrogen Peroxide, Vitamin E Oil and just now the baking soda an vco. As this site in the corner of my eye is already scar tissued after 3 exisions, it is taking a while to heal and look red and angry and bleeds occasionally. I am not giving up, but I am realistic that as I have had this BCC reoccuring on and off for 12 years it may take a while of treating with these combinations before a real effective sign of complete healing appear.

Reply to Terrie (re:BCC 07/15/2019).

Just sent an update on my treatment.

To answer your question, I left OCV/BS on for most of the day. Made a paste of about half each initially and spread it over my forehead after ACV dressing came off. When face gets hot and oil begins to melt somewhat I used tissues to blot my face. Need to find balance to have just enough VCO to be able to spread BS without starting to drip. Midday I would with great delight wash it all off, applied some aloe vera gel or echinacea cream to give my skin some rest and then applied VCO/BS again and left it on till bedtime. Hope this helps.

Blessings of good health to you.

Nodula basal cell carcinoma

A dermatologist diagnosed my spot next to my nose (quite close to my eye). I decided not to see a surgeon but to try something natural. I googled Black salve and decided to give it a go. It's not available in shops but I managed to find someone who makes it locally.

I first used a buffpuff to roughen up the area on my nose and then applied the Black salve covered with a plaster. The spot was average size but raised. I covered more of my nose than just the spot. Within 24 hours it was bubbling yellow liquid out. I thought well this is good. When I removed the plaster the area was very sensitive. I didn't get a nice neat eschar like I had seen on someone elses post but instead when the yellow crust had been washed off gradually (when the area was not very sore anymore) I had quite a scar.

Well I thought, at least I got it all out.

Now around the scar I have a couple of tiny spots and a larger one on top area. Does this mean it's back? I don't want to use Black salve again in case my scar splits open. As a side note I also had a sore inside my nose slightly lower down from the original spot. This would gather mucous and it was sticky. I wonder if this is connected?

My main question is should I now do the Apple cider vinegar. What can I expect? Must I soak cotton on it or can I just dab?

I'm a 60 year young, white female, 130 pounds, living in the U.S.A., with basal cell carcinoma on the right side of my nose. A blackhead is what I thought it was and had gone to have a different non bcc spot checked on my left cheek. Biopsy was July 28,2015.

I started August 4th using organic apple cider vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide as a paste, alternating with fresh cut aloe vera (using the inside of the leaf) at night...securing either solution with a band aide. My nose looks horrible, due to the fact of more bcc there than what I'd hoped for. The area is puffy, red and just really looks bad. I believe I had read where it will get worse before it gets better. I'd love to post pictures of this process for two reasons, informative and feedback. Thank you for allowing me to join this discussion.

I believe the thistle you are referring to is actually the Common Sow Thistle (Sonchus Oleraceus).

The sap is white but quickly turns brown on exposure to the air. I too have used it for many years to treat minor skin cancers and sun spots and know it to be safe and effective.

Wet Table Salt
Posted by Sherri (PNW) on 11/15/2024

Hi Rob,

Thank you for sharing this post, very interesting research regarding salt and skin cancer.

Years ago I developed a sarcoma on my left medial ankle bone, extremely painful. At the time, I did not know it was cancer, I thought it was maybe fungal. So, I applied a salt pack several times daily which resolved the lesion. I was surprised.

Fast forward, a year or two later the sarcoma reappeared and became aggressive and began to extend up my calf. Amputation was suggested (absolutely not). I forgot about the salt (and did not know it addressed cancer). I came up with other remedies that resolved the cancer (essential oils - the main treatment, various supplements, diet, prayer). The doctors were more than surprised and even upset!

I wonder what would have happened if I had incorporated the salt packs.

A Naturopath tested the calf/ankle area and discovered that a couple of parasitic infections (picked up in Japan, Maui and Arizona) caused the lesion in addition to fungus. Some of the treatments I used also addressed these conditions.

Of interest, salt treatments have historically been used to address various parasitic issues.

There is a couple that have a website where they post their successful treatment of Lyme & co-infections (including parasites) with what they call the "Salt & Vitamin C Remedy":

~1/4 tsp of salt (purified) + 3 grams L-ascorbic acid + 1 cup water, 4X/day. Or, 1 gram of salt/10 pounds of body weight, 18-20 grams of salt/day, minimum 8 grams/day, maximum 24 grams/day. Considering that the half life of Vitamin C is around 2 hours, it is actually best to take smaller doses more often throughout the day say, 1/16 - 1/8 tsp salt with 1-2 gram Vit C, 8X/day. They note one can take it with food if needed.

It is very important to be very hydrated during treatment; and, to know that many salt sources are contaminated with mold, mycotoxins and even heavy metals such as lead, so only use a safe source of salt.

They had many herxheimer reactions which occurred in cycles during the 1.5 - 2 year treatment. They noted many different types of parasites, worms and mites came out of the stool, urine, skin, nose and eyes and they posted the photos (lymephotos.com).

Warm regards,

Sherri

Hi Lanl

I have used petty spurge for many years for skin cancer. I was advised initially only to use one drop and let it do its work and not to apply any more than that. You don't think that small amount is going to do anything but in a few hours the redness and itching begins. It is very potent.

After letting it run its course, you can repeat the process if it hasn't totally gone. The itching, redness and swelling are all normal. After a few days, it dries up, peels off and new skin is left.

By using multiple drops, you cause more unnecessary irritation.

Claire from London:

If you can't treat it from outside, try the inside. Reduce intake of sugars to NIL (incl honey, syrups and alternative sweeteners).

Take Vitamin C powder mixed with water, baking soda and lemon juice. (Vitamin C powder Must be L-ascorbic acid as it is the best closest to natural. (2-3 teaspoons VitC, 1/2 teas soda and juice half lemon daily). You may need to start small and build up tolerance to Vit C (can trigger diarrhea). Can also drink Apple Cider vinegar (again start small). Or use it as a dressing for salads with lemon juice. What you are doing is changing gut bacteria through your digestive system and there's Internet info on Healing your Gut.

I'm progressing from this treatment to the treatments outlined here. So thank you folks!

Best wishes for speedy recoveries.

I was diagnosed with BCC August 2013 via biopsy of pearly bump on upper forehead. Dermo DR recommended Mohs surgery ASAP. The biopsy removed half of the bump, I still had a small bump remaining after biopsy scar cured. I said 'wait, I'm going backpacking for 2 weeks - not a good time to be out in the woods with stitches. And 2 - what's the cost as I have a $5k deductible' (he said that I would probably use it up). After my trip, I found EC and read all the info.

Decided on hydrogen peroxide (standard 3%) applied 2x daily with strong scrub using a peroxide-soaked q-tip for one month, starting Nov. 2013. It stung but I would not say 'painful'. Small bump area was irritated (YES, peroxide is doing its thing). Eventually saw significant reduction in size of remaining bump but also no more signs of irritation.

Then I moved on to organic Apple Cider Vinegar Treatment using same 2x/day application with q-tip. this did not have same sting but caused a more general red rash area across my forehead but I did this for almost a month as well.

In both Treatment modes I left the area open (no bandages). In Jan. 2014 I returned to peroxide Treatment but there didn't seem to be any reaction thus stopped.

Today Feb. 4, 2014 I visited a NEW Dermo DR asking for a full skin scan (I'm 50 YO female, fair-haired, fair-skinned caucasian with lots of hours outdoors). NEW DR gave me full exam and declared that there were no concerns with my skin (any of it). I then told NEW DR of BCC Dx in August.... he rubbed my forehead with alcohol-soaked gauze and examined thru his 10x polar-light magnifier and declared 'yes, he could see a small pink bump (MINISCULE) in the scar tissue. and then he 'lawyered' up and agreed that the 'STANDARD of CARE' is Moh's surgery for this.

After he left, his assistant (who was there for the whole thing) said that I could wait until I got medicare insurance to cover the cost of surgery. So, I will NOT be getting Moh's surgery, I will be monitoring my skin for pearly bumps and other strange things. For pearly bumps I will invoke the peroxide Treatment (seemed more effective and makes sense when I think of my mom putting it on cuts and scrapes when I was a kid-'get rid of the bad stuff'); for other things I will go back to NEW DR for exam and Diagnosis.

It has been a year since my original post and thought I'd give an update on my status. The original bump on my forehead remains NOTHING but the scar from the biopsy - the remaining 'half-bump' has been gone since before I went to 2nd dermo DR. In March 2014 I realized that a 'bump' on my right cheek was not just a pimple. I applied the peroxide Tx for a month but it didn't seem to do much, then I applied the ACV (apple cider vinegar) Tx sporadically for a month and it didn't really do anything either. I got busy with summer fun and forgot about it. Since late winter to now I've been doing a mix between peroxide and ACV Tx and today I feel I've finally gotten somewhere because the area opened and bled without my coaxing (no real squeezing or scratching). Now I'm applying ACV Tx frequently to really get at the thing (same 'scrubbing wet q-tip' thing). In summary - I think I've learned that WHERE you get the BCC impacts how easy it is to cure. My forehead is thin skin and things progressed in a reasonable timeframe; this new 'bump' on my cheek is in the fleshy/puffy area and I think that is what is making it harder to cure - but I think I've had a literal 'break through' today.

for sure: no MOHs for me!

Veronica: this is late - but I use either peroxide OR apple cider vinegar.

all: I'm not sure that MOHs or peroxide or ACV Tx will cause further episodes. I believe that once we get it - we are prone to get it again. lucky thing is - it is slow growing.... Regarding eggplant cream and questionable websites - I think you're dealing with snake oil sales-sites - I prefer to stick to the basics. EC does not like 'naming names' but the ACV that I use starts with 'b' and is headquartered in California.

Has anyone else had a basal cell cancer that keeps coming back, and tried something else that worked? I would appreciate any advice.

Hi. Thanks for sharing your story. How is your bcc now? Did it completely go away? I have a small one on my eyelid and did try Apple Cider Vinegar but it kept pussing and no healing. I'm now using CBD oil and it seems to be drying out and has 2 raised bumps around the area of the 3 mm biopsy. I'm hoping this will work because the idea of having my eyelid cut out is very scary!

It might not be a bad thing to see it grow larger when you start using the topical treatments [peroxide, apple cider vinegar, iodine, and I would add TEA TREE OIL as an option] - these irritate the cancer cells, which is what we want. The ointments might also be irritating the healthy tissues, but they are not being killed like the cancer is.

But yes, it could be cause for concern. Mine got a bit painful, but that is okay in this case. Use your intuition, talk to your skin, ask and await an answer [this is difficult to teach].

CherryJoy, Of course it will help any stage of BCC. Use organic raw apple cider vinegar and after generously wiping with a Cotton ball & allowing to dry apply baking soda & coconut oil. You should see results after 3 to 4 weeks. Stay away from chemical sunscreens and wear a large brimmed hat.

HI U MIKE 62 DENVER, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Fellow, you don't listen. I've told this story a jullion times. I worked for 8 major paper companies in my career and all sent me to charm school of which I flunked. I's smart , jus not delightful. Messin with you.

The best thing that has come on EC in awhile is the lady who revealed how she got her mother through Alzheimer's . That's a biggie. The U of Calif, Erving did a study on rats with Alzheimers some 5 years ago and the Niacianamide cured them all . Their next move was to test on humans. That never happened and never will. It's a money thing. I have been taking niacianamide since that study but have not done the other stuff the Asheville lady recommended. Now I will.

My ole boss is close to being educated, but he insists that every thing go through a double blind test. When these tests end then everyone will be dead. He poo poos the recent EDTA Chelation test. I am the only person he has talked to who has done 60 + EDTA Chelations. Everyone else has not done one, and he listens to them. I have talked to hundreds of people in my Chelation sessions. They all are just glad to be alive after by-passes, stints , statins etc. None would ever go back to a cardiologist. That is a death sentence if you do what they say.

EC is blazing a trail. Yep, there are folks who need to be listening instead of talking and yep some of the guru's don't know stuff they talk about. Myself, I love Russ Limbaugh, but Russ knows nothing about nutrition, exercise, the medical field, but he does know politics. When he gets out of his expertise then I want to slap him up side his head. That is the way I feel about some EC folks. But overall, this site is doing a service to mankind.

Bloodroot
Posted by Nanowriter (Hotspot, Texas) on 10/26/2013

I had bcc diagnosed and biopsies roughly a year ago and have done a fair amount of reading since. One book that is very good is "Cancer Salves" which goes into detail about various anti cancer salves. Bloodroot is usually mixed with other ingredients and is effective, but can be a bit of a runaway train. You can search on YouTube and find videos of people who have used it.

A topical that I used on my nodular bcc was vitamin C, which I purchased in powder form, mixed with water and applied as continuously as I could stand. It was slow and fairly painful, but the growth dissolved and the C began dissolving the "fingers" that extended out from it.

As to the swelling you have, the way that many topicals supposedly work is that they remove the protective covering that keeps your immune system from realizing the cancer is there. So as your immune system is discovering the cancer, you are experiencing what would happen if your body fought a bacterial infection--swelling, pain, redness, etc. As to what lies beneath, even conventional treatments can miss part of the cancer and it will simply grow back.

Along these lines, if you do treat topically, extend the margins of treatment beyond what you see on the skin's surface by 1/2 inch or so in order to catch the "satellite cells" that are likely underneath.

Dear Brooke,

We have used the Vitamin C treatment for my husband who had a flaking growth on his ear several years ago. It appeared to be pre-cancerous Squamous Cell Carcinoma. We used Vitamin C crystals (Ascorbic Acid). We put 1 part vitamin C and 8 parts water in a little glass bowl and applied it with a q-tip twice a day. (You make a new batch each day. ) Sometimes we forgot to treat it. 3x a day would have been better and covering it with a bandaid was recommended but we didn't do that. It was on his ear. We did this pretty faithfully for maybe a month or more. It did cure it and it hasn't come back. That was all we did. We read about this in the book, Cancer, Step Outside the Box. The author said with would work for BCC or SCC. He also recommended Colloidal Silver, but didn't give much information about how often to use it.

I think any treatment would work better if you worked on getting your body ph where it should be. There is tons of information on this site about that. Also, since cancer loves sugar, keeping that to a minimum would be ideal.

Please let us know what helps you!

I would suggest castor oil for your lip. It works well for the skin. I have used it to soften my heels. It comes in a roll on formula now at a major retail store. It does work as a laxative. But in such a small quantity as a lip salve, I doubt that would be an issue.

I have not tried this personally. But, I would try it if I had that problem.

Another thought would be coconut oil. Both of these are anti fungal and there are researchers out there who believe cancers have a fungal basis.

Best of luck!

I had a feeling I couldn't have treated my spot enough in my first post but because of work I let it go on for months since it wasn't too noticeable, less than 1mm and flat but then it got a little bloody one day so this is what I did. First, I'm not advising anyone to do this, I'm a DIY junkie. It matched the description for BCC but I didn't have a biopsy (my Dad is always having them burned off). The first day I cleaned it with H2O2 and put a paste of ascorbic acid. This makes the surrounding tissue very red so the second night I switched to Sodium ascorbate. After my showers I also used H202. By the 4th night I had like a raised white scab thing and I was to work on the 6th day so I quit putting vit c on. I used h202 but I didn't try to pull the white scab off because I was afraid it would look worse at work. It was an ugly blemish on the side of my nose.

By the 7th night after work the crust was real hard and I tried to pull it but it started to bleed from under it. The bleeding stopped when I washed it with H202 and I nervously went to bed (what have I done now! ?). On day 8 I took a steamy shower which softened the white dead skin and applying peroxide with an eye dropper I easily debrided the white skin leaving a clean red mark. After that I used peroxide acouple times a day which caused less and less of white exudate and now day 10 I have a non reactive spot of skin that looks pretty fabulous. You can just barely see a slightly redder color of skin where it used to be like a healed scab. I really can't believe it so I will follow up on this post periodically to say whether it comes back.

I also couldn't maintain the vegan diet from last post and had started eating dairy. I did go vegan for 10 days right before I started this treatment again but got too tired at my job and ate some cheese. (lactovegetaian 30 years). I'm gonna attempt to keep the dairy at a minimum. I must say I'm gonna feel relieved at work today that it appears I have not just made something worse! Last time I used Vit C I didn't use peroxide at all so maybe that's the key. You have to get that white bubbly growth of exudate, I don't know unfortunately, I'm just saying so far this is less painful than going to the Dr! Oh yeah, and cost less than a couple bucks. Sodium ascorbate powder is expensive but my jar was like 4 yrs old so I'm not sure it was active but it didn't look oxidized

COCONUT OIL, MELATONIN FOR AK, BCC. O.K. It must be about day 30 after treating 24/7 for 10 days and then at least at night. There is no root visible and my skin is not tender. I have a pea sized area of pinker skin which is a scar from the effudex but it's not very visible and I don't need makeup. I've been messing with this spot for 2 yrs! Just wish I had a biopsy before to know if it was bcc or just ak. Highly recommend this!

I have had a basil cell carcenoma on my back for about a year.

It got a little bigger and I decided to get rid of it.

I have been using food grade h2o2 Hydrogen Peroxide (25-35%)

It burns but works great. Just use a cue tip dip it into the h2o2 and it burns the top layers of over a few weeks. It's better than the doctor and cost's about $1.00 worth of the food grade peroxide.

I will tolerate a little pain, no pain no gain.

Yes, the question is does it get to the root of it and make it go away. I have 3 places, two on my left leg and 1 small one on my right leg. One on my left leg was just biopsy and it is BCC. So I have been dabbing on ACV several times a day. It seemed at first make a difference and started to turn white and look like it was going away but now is red and irritated. I will keep up maybe adding the hydrogen peroxide and continuing the application. I have a bump on my right shoulder where my bra and purse irritate it. It went away but now is back. Hello Susi,

I'm in a similar situation, with an eyelid BCC diagnosed a few months back (although I've been having it for several years before its proper diagnosis). I suggest that you look into DMSO and also CBD oil as potential treatments (or aids in the overall scheme, which may include diet, detox, sports etc.). It seems we should aim at healing from within and not only target topical applications.

Hi,

Has anyone successfully used oil of oregano on a basal cell carcinoma? I noticed a red spot on my thigh and thought it was an insect bite (though no pain or itching.) For the past few days, I've applied oregano oil on it and covered it with a band-aid, once a day. It seems to be changing — maybe a bit less red — but today I googled skin cancer and saw photos that made it clear that it is basal cell carcinoma.

My impulse was to make an appointment with my dermatologist, but after reading about BCC on earth clinic, I am thinking Curaderm might be a wise move first, right? But I'm curious as to whether anyone has used oregano oil, and if it was effective.

Thank you!

MARIA,,,,,,, glad blood root worked for you and it does eat cancer. I aborted my use of it once because I got spooked. An Integrative doctor in Atlanta told me that he misused it in addressing cancer and it ate a hole in his back. Maybe that is a small price to pay for eliminating cancer. I would just be cautious.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but blood root is a very strong remedy. Right now, I have a spot near my right eye that I am addressing with Cureaderm. Maybe, I should let my Dermatologist address this problem. A short while ago I took off a spot on my shoulder with Cureaderm. If it is not cancer, it will not affect your skin. You do not have to get a biopsies, because the treatment will tell you. Basel Cell is one thing, but Squamous Cell is another. Both are skin cancers, but not equal.

I wish you well. ====ORH==

Petty Spurge
Posted by Ianl (Australia) on 05/05/2016 7 posts

Mmsg,

I think the herb has varying degrees of effectiveness for each user. In a survey they conducted in Australia using ingenol mebutate (produced by Petty Spurge) to treat non-melanoma skin cancers, they had an 85% success rate. That's pretty impressive but still means 15% of users found it to be ineffective. For myself, a 3 day application was ample. I never went beyond that schedule as I didn't need to. If you say it didn't work for you then I guess you might be in that 15% category, but since you had the expected reaction to the initial treatment it does seem strange that you didn't get the desired result.

Maybe someone reading this forum can answer that as I'm a little lost as to why it didn't work for you.

Petty Spurge
Posted by Jim (Frostburg) on 05/07/2016

Hi IanI,

The fresh dark-red sap from the bloodroot plant is comparatively much weaker than the petty spurge, requiring several applications over the day. The bloodroot sap can be evaporated down to a tar, applied as a blob, then covered by a bandaid to help its effectiveness; or the tar can be combined with glycerine and a skin-softening adjunct, such as zinc chloride, to help its attack against the skin malady. DMSO is added by some who make their own salve. The belief is that DMSO helps the destructive agents penetrate to the 'root' of the nasty. Most formulators buy the dried bloodroot powdered; then add water and the other agents, gently cooking it all down to a 'mud'. Again, you put on a blob and cover it with a bandaid and within about 12 hours you feel the dull but increasing ache of the resultant skin-necrosis. Within a day or so the site of the problem looks so amazingly bad that anyone seeing it will tell you to get to the hospital. But the 'mud' has done it's work and all that redness and hurt will slowly go away as the good surrounding skin expels the necrosis.

Some claim bloodroot will only kill bad skin. It does destry weaker skin first; but given enough time it will also attack 'good' skin.

It is typical to develop actinic or other skin damage spots on the nose. I would advise one never apply a bloodroot salve to the nose, as the actual skin layer is so very thin that the resulting necrosis can produce an actual hole into your nasal cavity. Instead, I use a single drop of petty spurge which will destroy only the outer skin-layer. If the nasty returns, again use only the single application of the spurge. Applying the sap three times in three days can result in a hole, also. One has more 'surgical' control with the spurge.

If you have plenty of Greater Celandine growing nearby then a similarly effective concoction can be gleaned through trial-and-error. The orange sap of the greater celandine contains the same destructive alkaloid as bloodroot.

The dandelion and common milkweed plants (of the USA) also have a caustic effect on damaged skin, but are so much weaker when pitted against that tiny droplet of petty spurge.

I've read where the Picato gel costs nearly $600 in the US.

Preventing BCC

Just diagnosed with BCC on the area in between my eyes, just above the bridge of the nose. Its is very small and has been there for about 25 years!! It has not grown bigger and in fact has gotten smaller since applying Vitamin C serum to my face for wrinkles. My concern is that it is nodular BCC and they say that this type of cancer goes deeper and grows roots. If I can use these natural remedies to remove the exposed area, how do I know if the roots are gone? Are there tests that docs can do to see inside??

Hi Jake, I was very interested in how you are getting rid of the skin cancers you have. I have been dealing with a large growth on my upper stomach about the size of a nickel for a while now. I have used hydrogen peroxide on it but not as often as you. Lately I have been applying 2% iodine tincture to it about once a day. Occasionally it will crust up and a layer of skin will flake off, but I haven't had any bleeding or reduction in size. I was wondering if you might be a little more specific about how you apply the hydrogen peroxide (do you dab it on or soak a cotton ball and tape it to your skin). I would really appreciate any additional information because I am really tired of dealing with this thing. Thank you for your time.

Treasaj, surgeries often leave scars. Scars are not seemly, and they also block free flow of lymph, that keeps body/skin healthy. When body heals the problem spots with these natural tools it seems to create a better, smoother inside and outside tissues. It may take a bit longer, than surgeon cutting it out, but it seems to come back much less often, since the body healed it. That is what I know about why so many prefer not to have their nose cut splayed open, and dug through in layers of tissues.

The one on my ear is crusty and itchy. I've started to put 1 drop of 12% food grade H2O2 on each spot 1-2x a day. It burns + hurts about 20 minutes and then it's okay. It was described as skin keratosis. Another formed on the opposite eye. I ended up pincering it off with my fingernails. There is another one beginning to grow a few mm's from the last. It was visible at the time when I excised that second one. I'm assuming it is also keratosis, so not BCC. I post this to show not all growths are cancerous.

Hi Ben,

Saw your post of 2016. So you say the eggplant BEC treatment is pretty good, and safer. I've been reading how aggressive the black salve can be.

I came across mixing vitamin c and dmso. I understand that dmso becomes a transporter for other things, and that one has to take precaution using it, since it opens up the area to which one applies it to, but also very effective. When I read this I became a bit scared to use it. I just received some in the mail along with my vitamin order, and only did a skin patch test. I can tell it's rather strong, because the arm I did the test on, I could feel my elbow itching and tingling later on. Did you use vitamin c with the dmso? O.K., thank you for the information shared.

It is so good to read others experiences using different protocols.

Margeaux

Question.... treating a spot on my nose with a combo of both ACV and hydrogen peroxide. Spot turns white after soaking with a Cotton ball and then skin around is red. Is this part of the normal process? Thanks for help.

Cancer is not just a surface problem. I wish everyone could heal as easily as a little Apple Cider Vinegar or hydrogen peroxide. Some must go deeper. By that I mean treating what caused the cancer in the first place.

Baking Soda and Coconut Oil

I have just been diagnosed with a BCC on my nose, after being told last year it was just a scratch by a GP and had it zapped with the dry ice thing :( After the skin cancer doctor doing 3 biopsies and freaking me out, he says it's around $5000 up front, which I don't have, even if I wanted the surgery straight away. I'm glad I've seen this page and that people seem to have success with the ACV, baking soda and coconut oil. They are all things I already have, so I will start today and see what happens... It's good to see so many people here who have been through it before. I've not really been around anyone with this problem before, and the doctor scared the heck out of me :)

Dear Mmsg,

I would consider trying frankincense essential oil. It is wonderful for skin issues and lots of other issues. It is gentle and can be used "neat" (without diluting.) Since it is for a delicate skin area and near the eyes, you could dilute it one to one with a carrier oil, perhaps coconut.

Frankincense is a pretty expensive essential oil, but would be cheaper than surgery. Look for a high quality oil. Heritage Essential Oils in TX, USA has excellent quality, but not sure if they ship to Europe.

Another thing to try would be castor oil. You could do both; castor at night and frankincense in the morning.

Please keep us posted!

Hello Mmsg,

You might also try mixing DMSO with broken caps of "pancreatin" and applying topically. Try twice a day for two weeks and see if the condition reduces. Pancreatic enzymes were the big "go to" in Dr Kelley's anti cancer program and is used extensively by Dr Nick Gonzales on New York to treat cancer. (There is MUCH more to Dr Gonzales' program than enzymes.)

How does one know when to stop or what to look for to stop the ACV and peroxide treatments?
