Hydrogen Peroxide

Have you ever known somebody with bad breath? Here is the cure.

1-Do gargles with hydrogen peroxide. All the bacteria accumulated by years will be killed and your breath will be as fresh as it can be.

2-Do the same once a week or maybe once a month. If you still have any problem, that I doubt it, probiotics will be the solution for getting rid of bad breath if it is accompanied by body odor.

But the first step is the gargles.

How should the Apple Cider Vinegar be prepared as a mouthwash? How long should I gargle? Once I finish gargling should I just swallow it since ACV is great for the body?

Hydrogen Peroxide

I've used hydrogen peroxide, 3% pharmacy grade cut 50% with water, to rinse my mouth before brushing, which has been a great help with eliminating bad breath and plaque. But here's a remedy that no one may have thought - a treatment for "tinea cruris" commonly known as jock itch. I had an issue with this for several months and during this period, several times a week, I used Curex and other over-the-counter options to eliminate it, spending $20.00 to $30.00 to no avail. I knew hydrogen peroxide was effective in killing bacteria, so, as a last resort, I cut the pharamcy 3% grade 50%, just like the mouth wash, and used it-in 2 days!!! the itch and soreness was gone! No joke. Total cost 20 cents!

Just wondering if you have heard of the healing capabilities of Cream of Tartar? It was suggested on an Alternative Health Message Board. Since trying it I haven't suffered bad breath anymore..its meant to get rid of candida out of the body and the brain. Alot of people use it to stop smoking. There isn't alot of info on the web about it.

3% hydrogen peroxide cures halitosis, instantly. Excellent remedy for halitosis or sulphur smell when some one sneezes. This is not the masking agent like mouth freshener but it takes care of the problem and whitens the teeth.

Hydrogen Peroxide

I have read all the articles of all those people who have used hydrogen peroxide and it worked, my fear is that it might be harmful if taken undilluted, can you please give me the exact measurement to use when I gargle, or should I use straight HP, please help me get rid of my horrible breath...

Margarine / vegetable oil for breath gargle (yes, sounds disgusting but Canola oil is actually kind of sweet) cures bad breath by dissolving and stabilizing the pathology of volatile sulphur compounds in the mouth and throat.

I started putting HP on my tongue and letting it sit there without swallowing it for 5 minutes. (before I put the HP on i brushed and flossed my teeth first thing in the morning). After the five minutes were up, my tongue was thick and gooey with bacteria. After that I scraped my tongue with a spoon. It was gross but my gums no longer bled when I brush them and also my energy levels are up!

After reading that Hydrogen peroxide kills breath odor. I decided to do some reasearch before I tried it. What I was basically trying to find was information that would convince me that peroxide wasn't going to poison me. Well I was convinced and decided to try. I've been rinsing my mouth with diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide for the past 3 days and it worked...I had horrible bad breath it was horrible but now it's gone. I'm even having my boyfriend do the same. I'm so happy I tried this. I highly recommend it!!!!!

I suffered from halitosis for many years. It is embarrassing. When I talk to people they keep a distance or cover their nose when I get close. This is my second day of trying the hydrogen peroxide. I hope it will work. I have faith. Thank you for this website.

I had a problem of Bad breath for many years now. I had mints all over the place to make sure I had them all the time. I brushed my teeth after every meal and yet within an hour the bad breath was back. Then I came across Sharon's advice last week. Tried it and it WORKED!!! No bad breath from then on. Amazing! I rinsed my mouth in ordinary peroxide for about 2 minutes. Yes, my tongue was a bit sore. I rinsed after lunch and didn't have dinner-- I wasn't hungry, just so very happy. Next day my tongue was back to normal. Thank you very much, Sharon! It has changed my life. A question: Do you think it is okay to have a quick peroxide rinse everyday morning? Does it harm the teeth enamel in any way?

EC: We read somewhere on the internet a few months ago that hydrogen peroxide can potentially wear down dental fillings, but is fine for dental enamel (it's what they use in teeth whitening formulas). We rinse with it every few days and have NOT noticed any fillings deteriorate!

Hydrogen Peroxide

I don't know how else to post on this thread so I am sub posting. I developed bad breath right around 18 when I started eating meat again. I've been to many dentists all who said I have PERFECT teeth. Well Ive tried so many things and the only thing that is working now is lemon juice in my water bottle. I add about 1 tbsp to a normal sized water bottle and I have one daily. Another person I know is successfully using digestive enzymes also. I can attribute my bad breath to my diet but I don't know what specifically is causing it. Even though this is helping I still don't know what is the root cause for my BB.

I think that Chlorella helps with deodorizing.... maybe you could look into that? It seems to help not only for bad breath but also transpiration smell.

Tongue Scrape

This truly works! It is much better than all the products advertised by the media--which claim to heal "foul-smelling breath." I used to go through the embarrassment of having "bad breath" even a little while after brushing my teeth thoroughly and meticulously. A friend told me to scrape my tongue with either a "plastic spoon" or a "separate hard toothbrush." I opted for the second option.

This is how to do it: Brush your tongue repeatedly in all areas, especially as much inside the throat as possible--even if it causes a small regurgitative spasm. Before you rinse the brush, smell the bristles to see if the foul smell is still there. Repeat this process a few times; of course, keep on rinsing the toothbrush, and stop after the bristles have no bad odor whatsoever.

It is important to remember, "not to use the same toothbrush that you use for your teeth." I do this in the morning before I go to work, after meals and before I go to sleep. It is a fantastic natural cure. I really thank God that I am free from fetor ex ore!

P.S.: To gargle with concentrated salt water once or twice a week is also a very good idea. This enhances the process explained above by getting rid of build up in the tongue, which harbors foul-smelling microorganisms.

Baking Soda

For almost two years, I have been self-conscious about my bad breath. I always kept myself at least a meter away from my friends, not to mention about girls. I visited several dentists, but none couldn't tell any concrete solution. Recently, a dentist told me to wash my mouth, especially back of my tongue with a BAKING SODA before going to sleep and to take a pill, called Flunol. I washed my mouth with baking soda, but did not take the pill, as it was expensive. To my great surprise, it was enough to get rid of the bad breath. Within ten days, it is almost gone. I still can't believe it and just before writing this message, I checked it, putting my finger in the back of my tongue. it's gone. I know there are many people with the same problem and i want to say those people not to spend much money on those expensive pills and liquids. Instead, look for a cheap, home remedy. And if you really want to get rid of your bad breath and believe in that, you will do it. If anyone of you know how to get rid of black spots, natural moles on the face, please share it with me. Thanks.

Hi Dilshod, Thanks for the info on baking soda. I will share a secret for moles/skin tags. Use ACV!!! Put it on a cotton ball and leave it on the tag for at least 10 min. Then start to wipe it back and forth and in circles. You will notice it get ligther, smaller and disappear except for a clear sac. I then cut it off with sterilized scissors. It was painless except for a little tingle while rubbing it. Try it! I loved it and highly recommend it for getting fast results and hardly any pain!

I used a strong hydrogen peroxide to rid a mole on my face. It's bought at health food stores but not all carry it. Just a tiny drop on the mole (it does sting for a min. But then stops stinging) then in a few days it falls off. Apply again if not totally gone. Do not use if mole is closer than 1/2 an inch.

Avoid Sweeteners
Posted by Sharon (Boston) on 03/31/2006

I got a huge pot of organic spun honey from the farmer's market last month. It was delicious, but after a couple of weeks, I noticed a huge buildup of dead cells on my tongue towards the back. It was pretty gross. I also felt my metabolism slowing down and I gained a couple of pounds even though I was eating very healthily. I bought regular honey at Whole Foods last weekend and after 3 days my tongue is back to normal and I am starting to lose those 2 pounds! Interesting, eh?!
