Moringa oil for Cellulitis?

My wife recently had edema and injured her left foot causing Cellultis. She is presently in the hospital undergoing treatment. Cellutis is not considered curably Allopathic means. It does seem to be treatable my natural and herbal methods although Moringa Oil does not appear to have been used here. I would appreciate any information or success that anyone has had using Moringa Oil for this. I plan to experiment by applying the oil to portions of her legs. I will post any success that I have here, both edema as well as Cellulitis.

My son is diagnosed with Down Syndrome too. The boils showing up in the groin, or on the chest etc. is fairly common. Another option for you is Desitin or any cream that has 40% zinc in it. Keep applying daily, twice a day is fine. No bandaging needed. We've found (and so have our friends) that the boils go away. Yay!

I'd suggest checking into taking NAC (N Acetyl Cysteine) to boost immunity. And then employing some of the other wonderful suggestions here.

I was going to do the povidone iodine on just one ankle - where it soaked right in and disappeared but as soon as I did it, the other one started itching so I put it on both, LOL! So much for my experiment...

@TINA, I've used a number of poultices in my life (so useful! ) and can tell you that one of the easiest ways to keep them on a large body part like a foot or hand is plastic wrap. I like to add the poultice to the area, wrap it gently in plastic wrap like a plaster cast for broken bones. Then I'll put my whole foot/hand in a bag (bread bags work fantastically! ) and secure the whole thing by wearing an extra large tube sock pulled all the way up. If you fear that the liquid will come out of the top, you can secure the top even more with an ace bandage. (If you can't buy/find/afford ace bandages, cut up an old clean t-shirt or a pair of leggings into 3 inch wide strips of fabric for a thrifty alternative to a medical wrap. I secure mine with safety pins.). Just be sure not to cut off your circulation! Everything should be slightly loose to allow blood flow.

Hi Jazz A

Look on youtube for Barbra O Neil, she is a naturalist from Australia. One of her videos talks about bee stings and any swollen joint to get a small potato and grate on a small cloth and put on area and it will drain out the inflammation. It really works. I have done it.

All the best

Dear Jazz,

Thanks for these remedies! I have never used an onion for infection, just inflammation. (Wonderful for bruises! ) So, this is great to know.

When we have dealt with Staph/Cellulitis, we have used turmeric internally. Also, I find it helpful to avoid sugar and dairy (except for milk kefir or yogurt with L. Caseii, which is very helpful.)

Frankincense essential oil is a helpful topical for staph infections as well.

Epsom Salt baths may be useful. 1 1/2 cups per bath.

Keep us posted on your progress!

Jazz A,

I often use colloidal silver (CS) for such purposes because it has anti inflammatory effects, acts as a potent topical antibiotic and it helps wounds heal faster as discussed here :

https://www.dovepress.com/anti-inflammatory-potential-of-green-synthesized-silver-nanoparticles--peer-reviewed-fulltext-article-IJN#:~:text=Silver nanoparticles also exhibited potent, 44 and wound healing properties.

With CS, I have found that the wound dressing needs to remain wet for best effect. I do this by taking an old cotton t-shirt and cutting a piece that when folded four or more times is large enough to fully cover the wound and slightly more area around the wound. I fully wet this folded cloth (not dripping wet) and place it on the wound and then secure it in place with an elastic ACE wrap. The wrap holds it in place and helps the dressing to stay wet for a much longer period of time. I leave it on for at least 3 hours, remove and let the area fully dry for at least an hour and then repeat as necessary.

I accidentally disturbed a nest of yellow jackets on my front porch and was swarmed. I escaped with only 2 of them getting me. One caught me above the ankle and another right above the thigh, on my backend. The one above my thigh stung me repetitively, at least 4 times. After I used a different remedy to bring that down, life went back to normal...or so I thought.

Exactly 1 week later, they started to itch again, and swelled back up like the day I got them. I had no fever, so I did what my grandmother would have done: I rubbed a little oil on my skin (cold-pressed sunflower) and strapped a yellow onion slice to it.

I've had it on for at least 12 hours and the heat is entirely gone. The swelling is still there, but the redness has been cut in half. It also doesn't itch! Although I do smell like an onion...

I have been changing out the onion slices every time they wilt up too much and look like the juices are used up.

I'm also applying an ice pack because it's 80 degrees and I work at a desk. I'm elevating the ankle too. I need to keep the areas cool and irritation free.

My family is prone to getting mild cases of cellulitis with bug bites. Normally, there is a wound that pusses and that's easily treated with powdered turmeric right on top (then slap a bandaid on top to trap it). If it's really nasty, I'll add some cayenne powder and garlic powder to the mix. But since this cellulitis is under the skin, I knew I needed a poultice to draw it out and onions are specifically killers of staph bacteria (scientifically proven).

I came here to see if there were any tips and tricks I can do on the side to speed the healing, and I'm definitely going to tackle this internally to boost my immune system too.

Thank you Earth Clinic and all you lovelies who share your amazing remedies. I hope I helped someone else out! And I hope you were lucky enough not to be stung on the bum like me.

Hi Art,

Thanks so much for mentioning EC's colloidal silver. We've paused our colloidal gold and silver production for a move to VA this month. However, we still have CS available at our Amazon shop until it sells out. Two sizes are still in stock.

Crew,

The colloidal silver (CS) is effective at shortening wound healing time while being able to fight a multitude of pathogens that might be present in the wound.

For me, I have found it important to keep the CS dressing wet with CS to get the best effect. I usually take a clean piece of cotton cloth and fold it so it is at least 4 layers thick and slightly larger than the area to be treated.

I fully wet the folded cloth with the CS that is at least 20 ppm and apply it to the affected area and then wrap an ACE elastic bandage around it several times to hold the moisture in and then leave on for two hours at a time followed by a drying out period. Once the skin is very dry again, I apply a new clean piece of cloth and wrap again for another two hours and so on.

I'm not recommending this, just saying what has worked for me in the past.

I know EC was selling the 20 ppm yellow CS, but I don't see it on their homepage anymore so I am not sure if they are still selling it. You can ask Deirdre to find out.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you decide to do and how it works out for you!

For Cellulitis, Which Type Of Silver Works Best?

In the article "Natural Treatments For Cellulitis, " colloidal silver was mentioned as one of the treatments that's helpful for it.

While the article appears to refer to the liquid form of colloidal silver, there are "homeopathic silver gels" available on the market. So which might be more effective for conditions like cellulitis, "liquid colloidal silver" or "homeopathic silver gel?"

Hi KG, I read your email and the only reason I am replying to it, is because it is more up to date and this might also help others with Cellulitis.

On 4/23/22 KG from Charlotte, NC wrote: "Just diagnosed with cellulitis yesterday. It's spreading. Washing clothes in hot water, no detergent. Prescribed antibiotic. 500 mg 4/d, 10 days. Is it safe to take colloidal silver orally as well? Spraying CS all over the areas...worried that it is spreading and don't want to go to er."

Although you are probably cured by now? But this might help in the future. I rarely find any alternative stuff never does anything for me, Manuka Honey doesn't do a thing, etc.etc. But 3 weeks ago I woke up to the most painful very inflamed burning and swollen left foot.

I went online and I believed it was Cellulitis. Although these symptoms can fit many foot problems? My son took one look when he came down and said "For God's sake mum, call 111", which is our London Hospitals for emergencies. I was given a very dangerous antibiotic which I then found out other countries are refusing to give it to anyone FLUCLOXACILLIN which I couldnt or wouldnt use anyway, and a penicillin cream which I am seriously allergic to. My son rushed all the way over to an all night chemist and brought it down for me. He knew in his heart I wouldn't touch it and he was right!

I decided to try activated charcoal to which I had in powdered form. It was the best thing I could ever have bought!

I mixed the powdered charcoal just a teaspoon with a teaspoon of organic golden flaxseed powder granules. I added a little water, and i applied it to my very hot swollen and painful foot. I soaked a little cloth (the pack of ten cleaning cloths you can buy for the kitchen) and after soaking the cloth, I wrang it out and laid it over the very thick charcoal and flaxseed. I placed a little white wound pad over it and used a plastic bag with little handles that you can buy from lidls store in a blue box. They fitted my foot perfectly. I added an extra one and I just about did them up which was perfect. I went to bed, woke up the next morning. My foot was absolutely normal!!! I phoned my son and he couldn't believe it! I have had no trouble since, but do seem to have a bit of a limp and when going out have worn slippers, but my foot is completely normal.

So please anyone, do try this!! it simply cured my foot overnight!! Of course, doctors won't tell you that, they don't want to know about alternative medicine. So I wrote this for anyone who is using alternative medicines and taking maybe four days to a week to work.

I slept with the above remedy in bed. During the day I used a little ice cold pack for 30 minutes a few times a day, and rubbed coconut oil or olive oil or aloe vera gel to keep foot nice. It would be my number one recipe for cellulitis, something the medical profession cannot do! heal a very serious infection that could take your life, cured it in a matter of 12 hours!! Simply unbelievable.

That is awesome that such a simple remedy worked to clear the cellulitis up. I learnt recently that cellulitis is a staph infection and that they had found something natural that killed it 100%. They found that if it wasn't killed 100%, it would regenerate its numbers in 3 weeks. What killed it was hydrogen peroxide 3% and blue light therapy. I am using these to fight a staph infection in the lung and kidney but I need to be more consistent. When I do them, I get great relief but I have to make a point of doing it every day to clear it I think.

Bread and Milk Poultice for Cellulitis

I got an infection in my left foot. Didn't realize it was cellulitis at first. Treated with hot compresses, betadine, garlic and honey. It continued to get worse. I then got it in my right foot and found out it was cellulitis. I can't take antibiotics so started searching for ideas. I remembered a poultice that helped with a spider bite that was potato based and searched for poultices. I ran across the bread and milk poultice and it just seemed worth a try. I packed both feet overnight with the bread and milk poultice and saw 80% improvement overnight. The right foot which had just became infected resolved in 2 days. The left foot took about 4 days of the poultice every night but has resolved completely. My wife who is an RN who has treated many patients with cellulitis was amazed at the results. You warm milk up to below scalding then add white bread to make the poultice.

Hi Sammie,

THANK YOU for sharing this! I will be giving this a try today! I was in the ER 3 days ago for severe breast cellulitis (reconstruction implant / breast cancer). I had IV antibiotics on Sunday and am taking high dose meds along with applying coconut oil, eating tons of garlic and fresh turmeric... I am also doing HBOT therapy for 90 minutes daily.

I hope this is what will kick it over the edge on healing!

My mom has knee replacement surgery. I stopped by her house to visit her and the home health nurse was there. Mom said her knee was swollen and red with heat coming off it. I looked at it and immediately knew it was, “Cellulitis”. The home nurse said she would call in an order for antibiotics from the doctor and they should be in in a few days… really? Days?... So I told mom I would mix up a salve to put on her knee and she will be right as rain by tomorrow. Well, the nurse didn't like that. She argued with me over putting anything on my mother's knee that was not doctor approved. “Oh hell no you just did not tell me what I was going to do to my own mother?! ” I won't write what happened next but, the nurse ears are still bleeding from the biblical cursing I gave her!

Anyway, back to mom. I made a salve using this formula:

  • 1oz coconut oil-base
  • 50 drops thieves oil blend = 2% dilution ratio per each essential oil in this blend
  • 30 drops tea tree oil = 5% dilution ratio
  • 30 drops lavender oil = 5% dilution ratio

Mixed it up and told her to apply this to her knee and any area that was red and radiating heat. She applied it 4x daily or more. The cellulitis was gone in two days. Smoke that home health nurse!

What did you do with the coconut oil, did you apply topically? I saw the coconut oil recommended for mono which is a virus it said to take two tablespoons every 8 hours for 4 days. 35 people were cured on the Earth Clinic. I was the 36th. I was absolutely fine after 4 days of two tablespoons of coconut oil every 8 hours I ate it you can put it inside of a smoothie coffee ice cream put it on your salad whatever you want to do I just ate it straight and I was absolutely fine after ingesting two tablespoons. I read about Dr. E G N I N for Malaysia who studies coconut oil and she says the coconut oil gets in the body and the virus uses the body parts to build a lipid wall sack. The coconut oil when it's ingested, is in the body makeup, and therefore the coconut oil is in the Matrix of the lipid wall sack, but it rinses out easily and forms a hole in the lipid ball sack, and therefore the virus dies praise the Lord he anoints my head with oil my cup runs over.

We took it straight to the first person we knew that had Corona and in a day and a half, he was fine. Called back and said thank you very much I feel great. They have taken this off the internet everywhere maybe they won't take it off here at Earth Clinic.

KG,

I have had the best luck with topical colloidal silver when I have kept it wet as opposed to spraying and letting dry. I have managed to keep it wet by taking a cotton cloth such as an old t-shirt that I have folded it into layers, saturated with colloidal silver and placed over the area I want to treat so that it covers beyond the area I wish to treat and then wrapped an ACE elastic wrap around it to keep it in place and then I check hourly to make sure it is still wet. I have never used it for cellulitis, so I don't know if it works for that, but cellulitis is a bacterial infection and colloidal silver seems to be a potent antibacterial.

I had cellulitis on my neck. It was right over my spine and brain stem so it was really scary. It felt like someone had stabbed my neck with a hot iron. I had been on different antibiotics and none of them had done anything. I drew the line when I started breaking out in a rash and hives all over my body from the horrible antibiotics. That's when I decided to check out Earth Clinic. Thank goodness I did. Garlic! I crushed the garlic with a spoon then put it on the wound and had it on there all night. The next morning it had drained and I felt amazing. First time in a week. Thank you for posting this healing method, otherwise I'd still be in agonizing pain. It's sucked all the infection right out. No more cellulitis. Keep putting the garlic on the infection until it's healed. It pulls all the bad stuff right out. Good luck to you all. Cellulitis is no joke. Healing energies to you.

Aja,

I forgot to mention that it is possible for hydrogen peroxide and AgNPs to breakdown biofilms, so they are both important and alternating days maybe a way to be able to use both effectively. If you want to increase the effectiveness of the AgNPs, you can dissolve xylitol in it to increase its biofilm busting ability, moisturize the skin and give it an anti irritant effect to the skin.

Along this same line of thinking, if you can tolerate N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) it is also useful as a biofilm buster. Biofilms may be the reason that you say it is harder to eradicate the cellulitis this time.

Good luck!

Aja,

If you are using a true colloidal silver, the 3% hydrogen peroxide will cause the silver to fall out of suspension and become ineffective. Colloidal silver (AgNPs) works best if it can stay wet such as applying a washcloth that is wet with AgNPs while lying down.

AgNPs will agglomerate in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. If you want to use both, it might be more useful to alternate days of use with HP one day and AgNPs the next day.

Avocado & Garlic

Something bit me on my forearm, and 2 days later some 30% of my entire forearm was red and swollen. This is something you'd normally go to A&E for to get IV antibiotics. But I wanted antibiotics to be a last resort, something I would use if I had fever indicating sepsis and/or compartment syndrome. I read somewhere that someone tried avocado for something similar and it worked almost miraculously overnight, and they tried it on a relative and it worked again. I had an avocado in my fridge so I thought I'd give it ago. Like the guy recommended, I simply squashed up some avocado flesh and applied it, not just on the bite mark, but all over the forearm where it was red and swollen. At first there was a stinging sensation, as though the avocado was reacting with the venom or bacteria in and around the bite mark. Then my arm felt calm, the pain and throbbing had stopped.

I applied the avocado before bed, and when I woke up, the arm felt and looked a LOT better. But as soon as I washed the avocado off, it felt like the redness and swelling was quickly coming back. So I quickly put more avocado on and the arm calmed down again.

Then on that day I learned about another person's experience with GARLIC for a similar problem. So that night I decided to apply grated garlic over the avocado. Garlic being alkaline, made my arm sting all over at first.

When I woke up the next morning, almost ALL the swelling and redness was gone! In fact, the only redness that remained was the occasional small blister caused by alkaline burns from the garlic, so you need to be careful with this one. I don't know which was the greater help, but I know both avocado and garlic helped me to cure some seriously severe cellulitis on my arm, and did so within just 2 days, something even IV antibiotics would have taken at LEAST 3-4 days to get rid of.

And all without any systemic side-effects. No gut trouble, no building up antibiotic resistance. I think it's important to also combine this topical approach with a systemic approach.

I was sure to avoid all grain-based carbs and sugars, I drank ACV diluted with water (I really think this helped), and I took a high dose of turmeric capsules.

Hi William,

I would like to know a little more, what was the strength of the peroxide? We use 3% on a regular basis, it starts out as 35% food grade peroxide. It is however broken down with distilled water on a 11 to 1 ratio from 35% food grade which will give a severe burn if used anywhere near that strength. Or maybe a link to the article.

She used Ted's mange cure which is one 16 oz bottle of peroxide two 16 oz bottles of water and a tablespoon of borax the peroxide is neutralized by The Borax and the and the peroxide causes the borax to penetrate into the skin and kill the infection within one month for her.

Many other people on The Forum used it also to stop the itching that was caused from something from dogs and cats and squirrels some sort of bug.

Dog bite & terrible infection wouldn't heal even after 6 days in hospital & on 3 antibiotics by IV.

At home, it took a month still on antibiotics, skin was literally rotting. Each day new rot would form under & around a 1/4 inch humongous scab. Smelled like green rotten meat. Cellulitus/staph arm 3 times swollen.

I minced a couple of cloves of garlic placed it on wound AND OVERNIGHT IT KILLED THE INFECTION NEXT DAY I KEPT PLACING FRESH MINCED GARLIC. KNOCKED IT ALL OUT!!!!!!!

U can place minced FRESH garlic any place on your body, open wound or not. It will absorb thru skin.

Hi Lon! Not sure if you'll end up even seeing my message in reply to your post but I just wanted to reach out and say THANKYOU for sharing your and your son's experience with all of this. I must say I find it super weird and so so interesting in some of the similarities we share. I have cellulitis right now on my shin and have been choosing to treat it with turmeric tree tea oil garlic echinacea goldenseal and also some calendula cream and soap also starting zinc and vitamin c tomorrow. However the most interesting things that have stood out to me thus far, would be the fact that my 9 year old little brother (I'm 25 myself, ) also has Downsyndrome, and just like your son was also born with hirschsprungs. Which I don't hear of very often from other people who too have it. The other strange things that caught my eye we're the facts that you yourself are from Stanhope, NJ. My fiance is from New Brunswick, born and raised, but has moved around and lived in many different cities from North to south end of the shore. And our anniversary date is May 18th 2014 . I noticed you posted on Feb 18.....ever since we got together the number 18 seems to follow us like a creepy stalker! LOL! Not too mention the fact his birthday is on August 18th, AND the bus I rode to and from school for over 5 years was bus #18! Sounds silly almost stupid when I say it outloud, but Oh well, just one of the sweet memories from when we met and realized ALL of these strange coincidences. (I also had the stone peridot in my ear piercing which just So happens to be the birthstone for the month of august.) So again, just another strange tribute to our now lucky number 18....there were just WAY TOO MANY things that stuck out to me about your post that I felt compelled to reach out and comment. Hope you and you're son are both doing well now, and hopefully the cellulitis has been kept at bay for everybody's sanity and comfort. If nothing else, being a loved one of a homie with an extra chromie always makes me feel connected to other parents, caretakers, siblings etc. So God bless you and yours. We're a pretty special Group of peeps if I do say so myself. 😊 Sending lots of peace, Love and good health your way from the west coast, jah bless!

Thank you for posting the bee treatment, I'm going to check into it, it sounds amazing. I just want to point out in the story above, the woman says, "Because of the severity of his cellulitis I still gave him the antibiotic, BUT CUT THE TREATMENT TIME IN HALF...." It is extremely dangerous to start antibiotics and not finish all of them. This is because the antibiotics in less than the full course won't kill all the bacteria. The surviving bacteria are then immune to that antibiotic and all their descendants are immune as well. This plays a big part in creating the "superbugs" we see now that are very resistant to treatment. This puts all of us at risk. IF YOU START ANTIBIOTICS, FINISH ALL OF THEM!

Jenn, this is something I would use Medicinal Clay and/or Activated Charcoal poultices on.

Colloidal Silver

Hi and hello!

It has been awhile since I have posted but have tried wherever possible to put into practice what other posters have given me in the past... So here I am again seeking some help..

4 months ago my bite ( wolf spider) broke out in a painful ulcer, due in part to my immune system which doesn't work too good since I have been sick ( to counteract this I have taken large doses of Vit C, Oregano Oil, filtered water with a tad of ACV to alkaline my body, Kyolic garlic and Pau D'Arco., .. All over a period of 16 months) Then a month ago it got very very sore and horrible looking with lots of biofilm over it so I went to the doctor and she told me I had 2 very bad infections from swabs done way back in August ( so no one notified me?) MRSA and pseudomonas A and that I had to go straight to the hospital where they would put me into ICU for a few weeks..

So I went home and went up the next day, saw a doctor who advised me to go home and take Bactrim DS and use Fucidin Cream ( Fucidic acid ). This cream ranges in price up to $20 for 15 gr depending on where you get it., so I used it once a day instead of the recommended 3x.

Yesterday I had my long awaited appointment to see the specialist and he told me that the Bactrim is only for the MRSA and the recommended treatment for the rest is to be debrided under general anesthetic and have a vacuum put on my leg for a few months to assist the fluid. So has anyone had this done? It sounds painful.. He asked what I use on my legs and I told him I spray my legs with CS after I wash them because it takes the sting out. I wash my legs in separate buckets using either a small amount of Dettol disinfectant ( which kills the germs in the wash so I also use it as a final rinse when washing dressings etc) or I use a very weak solution, the horizontal length of Condy's Crystals on the edge of a matchstick. Any bigger amount and it really burns. Missionaries in tropical areas used to use Condy's Crystals for purifying water and to treat ALL infections.. However they didn't have superbugs in those days!

Anyway, sorry I have wandered... The Doc has been a specialist for 35 yrs and so he has kept an open mind on ulcers and CS. He advised me to use a stronger solution of CS between 16-30 ppm.. So I am onto my second lot of Bactrim 10 day treatment and my cellulitis ulcer on the other leg is nearly cleared up after 4 yrs.!! I'm also drinking a litre a day of filtered water with a teaspoon of ACV in it to make my body more alkaline.

So my question is this .... How long do you leave the generator on for to make a solution of say 20 ppm initially? I have a large Maxwell House coffee jar that holds just over a litre in solution when made. I also have a Silverwell machine so rather that guessing I'm asking for help based on those items used with Noble's water. A water meter that I bought from the U.S. and used very few times completely went haywire and never worked again... Sorry it's a bit all over the place but read it through and tell me what you reckon...

Thanks in advance... Jenn xxx

You can get rod of candida if you get serious about eating right. You will have a good clue that it is gone when your tongue no longer has a white coating, along with your other symptoms. Your gut contols about 80% of your health. You eat garbage and you won't be well.

For cellulitis, I began showering my body with Zest bar soap. I would leave the foam on the infected cellulitis areas for a few minutes, rinse and repeat five more times. This helped dry out the skin from the outside. I cut out all sugar from my diet. It FEEDS of sugar. You need to cut it out!! I mean everything including fruits, bread, pasta, starch vegetables everything!! Every morning I would drink a green smoothie consisting of red chard, spinach and dandelions. I also took two garlic capsules, B vitamin and folic acid capsules every day. Within 4 months my skin was healing and my body was EXPELLING the bacteria from my body!!! I have been suffering from this for 8 years and after so much trial and error I finally found my cure.

CELLULITIS: I recently developed cellulitis in my feet and ankles for the second time in my life. The first time my ankles swelled up like an elephant's after my cousin's cat rubbed up against my bare legs and I went to the emergency room (I was only 23). They pumped me full of high dose IV antibiotics and after a few days it went away.

This last time I developed the same problem again 15 years later after rubbing a dog with my bare feet. My ankles again swelled up and I realized it was cellulitis exactly as I had years ago. This time, however, I didn't want to go through with the antibiotics again since the first time they messed up my digestion bad and it never fully recovered. So I tried to go the natural route with oral colloidal silver (1100ppm), GSE, olive leaf, etc. This seemed to keep it from spreading for a few days but it wouldn't heal. Then I got a colloidal silver topical first aid gel which you can buy in any Vitamin Shoppe or major vitamin webseller. I applied it, let it dry for a few hours, rinsed my feet off then applied it again, for a total of about 4x/day. The silver gel combined with the oral stuff reversed the infection on the tops of my feet and shins dramatically, but though it was receding it was very slow and stubborn in my ankles and heels.

So I began researching online again and found a medical paper from a hospital that showed that giving cellulitis patients 400mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours for 10 days together with antibiotics resulted in much faster healing than with antibiotics alone. I had my wife pick up a bottle of ibuprofen at the drug store and began taking it. By that night with the silver gel, oral silver, GSE, olive leaf, myrrh and a few other basic things (vit C, echinacea, etc.), the cellulitis was 80-90% gone. I also took proteolytic enzymes which may have helped too.

After the second full day of the above regimen, including the ibuprofen, the cellulitis was basically healed. Oh and one more crucial thing if you're dealing with cellulitis of the legs or feet: ELEVATE THEM!!! They will not heal if you don't keep them elevated, HIGH! I sat on a lounge chair with my feet high on the wall for almost three days straight. Take breaks and walk around every hour or so but try to keep them elevated for the whole day. Sounds crazy but I was not going to get those IV antibiotics which destroyed my gut again if I could help it.

In sum what I did was this:

  • Oral colloidal silver 1100 ppm, 3 droppers a day
  • Silver gel applied 4-5x a day
  • Oral GSE, olive leaf, myrrh, and some other immune boosting supplements
  • Ibuprofen 400mg every six hours
  • Keep feet elevated

Jerome

*UPDATE*

July 04, 2018: I had a recurrence of the cellulitis and hit upon something that worked brilliantly: BETADINE. I applied straight Betadine to my feet and ankles with a cotton ball every few hours for a couple days and kept my feet elevated. Worked like a charm. I recommend trying Betadine as soon as the signs of cellulitis rear their head.

How do I use the turmeric and garlic together? I've been taking raw garlic and it has helped some but I need something else to help with it. I have some organic turmeric powder.

Hi. I never knew what cellulitis was until I got it. It took over my entire front and lower part of my left leg.

The pain and swelling was incredible and I have a fever of 40 and my blood pressure dropped very low. I didn't even know anything was wrong with my leg until I got to the hospital by ambulance and the nurses were taking my vital signs every 5 minutes. They put me on oral and IV antibiotics. They didn't work and my leg just kept getting worse. Finally after the 3rd day a different Doctor switched my antibiotics and it finally showed signs of improvement. That was April 19th of this year. I was off work for over two months and my leg went from a pink rash to looked like someone had BBQd it to cracking and all of the skin cracked and fell off over a few weeks. Now we are in August and I still have to be careful not to over do it and elevate my leg when ever I can. My ankle still swells.

This is extremely serious stuff and don't try to treat yourself. I was fortunate to be seen by the Infectious Disease specialist who after seeing my leg and the swelling and a rash over my entire back, put me on a plane and took me off the other antibiotics that had been given to me and told me to wear compression socks as soon as I could to work the swelling out of the leg, I finally made a lot of progress. But I was in the hospital my daily for IV antibiotics for three straight weeks. This is horrible stuff!

Cellulitis:

Thank you to everyone who has tried & had results, this site is a great help. I regularly fast, sometimes for days at a time, this has not helped, I have had this severe condition for 13 weeks and was getting worse to the point I couldn't walk on the foot at all, currently on cleocin antibiotics, from 1 every 4 hrs 2 wks ago upped to 2 tablets 3x a day, tea tree oil has halved the stinging burning pain that is worse than child birth. the only way to describe the pain is like being burnt badly while cooking 1st degree burn, that is the closest pain that comes close, followed by contractions in the area ( mine is in the little toe I cut nail too short)

I have changed my diet: Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tbl spoons in a glass of water I sip all day, & drink 2 ltrs or more of water room temp, Echinacea & berry tea & green tea. dandelion tea. Turmeric, Curcumin & black pepper about 2 tbl spoons of each & fresh garlic cloves I put all over my salad & I eat for lunch: tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber & carrots, capsicum, green apples for lunch with salad oil dressing to help spread the turmeric into every cell of my body and the bone marrow, I found having tomato on buttered (has oil in it) toast with pepper & turmeric helps the stinging/swelling calm down first thing in morning. I have tried sucking a raw young lemon or add to water also.

I'm on day 2 of this, and pain has halved, I can finally sleep with out being woken by crippling pain, and I can walk with out a cane. the toe is not dark purple now its going pink, red & skin colour, I wipe tea tree oil around the area not on the sore itself, as they removed the nail & sliced into area to squeeze out infection twice, it's covered all the time, dressing changed every 2 days. The antibiotic not working so I had to try everything I can find on the net & combine it into 1, I'm about to get the manuka honey to add this too. It's very slow healing but its progress considering what pain I'm in & keeping the toe.

Researching it has shown me, smoking, eating sugary stuff, fasting too much (malnutrition) & little exercise is stopping it from getting better.

1) It's important to get 10+ min exercise in so the oxygen & blood flow gets to the area.

2) Turmeric & black pepper & the Tea tree oil halve the pain & swelling,

3) Water fluids flushes toxins out. So go pee pee pee.

4) Warmth helps the pain, the cold make it hurt more.

5) Keep foot raised at all times possible. even when sleeping rest it on a pillow.

I hope this helps someone.

The type of pain you are having is an easy one to fix if you apply the correct drug. Antibiotics treat bacteria not virus and not mycoplasma. You could use a truckload of antibiotics and find they have zero effect. Meanwhile they create unwanted side effects and wreak havoc on the intestinal bacteria.

A better way of treating your condition is to use something that is easy on your body but kills organisms that antibiotics cant touch. The best thing found is either gallium nitrate or a new version of gallium called gallium maltolate. This stuff is available as a skin cream you can apply to your face. Other people been there and done that with your type of trouble and found gallium works when other things dont

Here is a little info on gallium maltolate http://www.painmed.org/2013posters/poster110.pdf.

Now certain class bugs such as mycoplasma attack the pancreas too and gallium will help to get rid of them. A little research might help prevent more severe pancreas troubles.

Alexandria, I am so sorry to hear of your plight - unfortunately, you are not feeling well so, I will give you a couple very specific things to do to feel better. This is a regimine I use to boost my immune system when my body is compromised with infection. Start taking 1,000 mg (1 gram) of Vit c every hour. Take with a cracker or piece small piece of bread to protect stomach. Look up Dr. Andrew Saul on the net - learn how to use Vit c - it's cheap. For now, use any kind. Vit C is very, very safe in high doses. I personally have taken up to 15 grams in one day - fought off pneumonia in 2 days....lowered the dose to 10 grams then now take 2 grams (2000 mg) daily for prevention.

Secondly, spray your legs with colloidal silver 2x a day to prevent infection. Follow the colloidal silver threads here on earth clinic. You live in CA, there are vitamin shops everywhere.

Lastly, No junk food. Period. Healthy, non- processed food if you can manage it! Eat some fermented foods to start rebuilding your gut bacteria. Flood yourself with vitamin rich fresh juice daily - mostly veggies!

Keep asking questions, talk through this. You will get better if you research and figure out what works. You can do it!!!!

I am a long time painfully chronicle facial cellulitis victim. To some bad cuts that originally happened years ago.

I went through many antibiotics clindamycin citronella k ed flex bactrim....I became more immune and had to visit hospital to recover iv antibiotics vancomycin, cubucin, the big guns of antibiotics, only to learn the last 6-7 yrs antibiotics has destroyed not only my immune system but my pancreas. I'm living with pancreatitis, normal pancreas range is 8-19. I was just hospitalized at 600..now one month later it's 200.

So I am fighting for my life here and can't have another antibiotic n my life, yet just off antibiotics. My cellulitis is back less than 2 weeks out of the hospital. My God, BE CAREFUL WITH ANTIBIOTICS! I was so naive..

I'm praying turmeric, cayenne, and goldenseal, echinacia will work. For some reason I also I get a sore throat with it! I believe my immune systems is so low from antibiotics that an opportunistic infection sneaks in there.

With much love n compassion to you all. Alexandra from Los Angeles

Delia,

am wondering if you are meaning " cellulitis" or " cellulite " ??

Cellulitis is a staph infection in the cells which can cause major damage to your body.....whereas, Cellulite is skin that is dimpled and is more of a cosmetic problem than anything else!

Hi, I wanted to share that you can easily make propolis tincture. Just let the propolis sit in alcohol for a couple of weeks. It will dissolve and keep fresh. It is an amazing medicine. Use it straight, by the dropperful, or add to water or juice.

Soap, Iodine, Fasting

Dear Raychil,

Great job! And thanks for sharing!

We have also found hot/cold therapy to be very helpful for cellulitis.

The fasting we have not tried, because I have only dealt with it in children. But an observation I made with one child was that it always looked better first thing in the morning (all night fasting! ) and much worse in the evening (when he had eaten all day.) It seemed especially bad when his diet was particularly high in sugar because we were out of town at Grandma's. :)

Thanks for taking time to post!
