Well, I think it was probably the magnesium that rid me of my (undiagnosed) endomitriosis symptoms.

I'd like to add my qualified 'yea' to this method. Eating Jalfrezi Curry which contains these two ingredients makes me feel much better, for a little while. When I'm suffering pain from a cyst it's hard to find foods that won't increase my discomfort, so it's nice to know there's a food that will ease it a bit.

Hey Marina,

TVCO can mean Tropical Virgin Coconut Oil and

EVCO can mean Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Does that fit the context?

Dear Pradeep,

I read a book by Dr. John Lee called Hormone Balance Made Simple (available on Amazon) that details how hormone imbalance can cause the problems your wife is experiencing, as well as many others. He recommends first doing a saliva test to test the level of hormones. Then adjusting accordingly through bio-identical hormones which do not cause breast cancer and other cancers as synthetic hormones do. That book will provide so much information to help your wife bring her hormones into balance and regain her life. And she will be able to have the children you both desire!

Thanks - that's really useful information.

I've got endometriosis which has blocked both my tubes.

I've been trying bee pollen, royal jelly, and bee propolis. I mixed these with honey and take one tablespoon first thing in the morning and one before going to bed. I also drink water with lemon and ginger. My past two periods have been almost pain free and my spotting has significantly decreased. I've been trying castor oil as well. Will keep you updated with what happens

You did not mention iodine. Read http://www.jcrows.com/hypothyroidism.html for a further clue to fixing your thyroid - it is very likely not genetic. Then I'd suggest reading the rest of their iodine info on that site. Also read iodine under remedies here on earth clinic. That should help you a ton with balancing hormones, thus losing puffy water retention weight, and losing solid fat weight over time. Hope this helps.

Iodine Deficiency

I have suffered from endometriosis for many years. I also have hypothyroid and wonder if the iodine deficiency mentioned in Ted's educational posting could be related to both?

I would try Lugol's solution; Potassium Iodine/Iodide solution in water; available since 1829 and prescribed by every physician prior to the 1940's & 50's. Since Iodine is stored for our health in our brain, thyroid gland, breasts, ovaries and prostate and utilized by every cell in the body it can do no harm. In fact doctors used to learn a rhyme about it that goes like this; 'If ye don't know what when or why, prescribe ye then K and I. ' Which is Potassium Iodide. Since Fluorine, Chlorine & Bromine is used in our water supply, pesticides, hot tubs etc, these halogens compete for storage in the body with Iodine and flush it out of our system and block it's return. High levels B vitamins, Selenium, Vit. C is required to re-absorb iodine into the body. Have a look for a book by Dr. Brownstein called Iodine; why you need it, why you can't live without it.

Sea Moss, Burdock Root
Posted by Henrietta (South Carolina ) on 03/12/2023

Hi! I am an Endometriosis sufferer as well. I have totally stopped the Depo Provera shot I have been on since about 2005 (this one is different from the 1st one I was on from 2001 till then) and am wondering how the sea moss gel is made. Does anyone know? Also, I really believe this shot has given me Fibromyalgia too and I am also dealing with that pain. Any advice would be appreciated.

Lycopene

Lycopene may be best obtained from "Tomato Paste" as the condensation process increases Lycopene from it's source Tomato.

Thanks Timh, that's really helpful. I think if someone tried making a smoothie with Kale and tomato, a couple tsp of tomato paste, a tsp of ACV and some fruit like watermelon to help with the taste. They could probably drink this throughout the day :)

Supplements
Posted by KENENA (NANAKULI, HAWAII) on 07/07/2009

I've purchased most of the supplements/vitamins recommended for the reduction of cysts & for treating endometriosis, however have run into a view obstacles. i just need clarification on a few matters.

my first question is on alkalization. if i have a water ionizer which produces alkaline water at selected ph levels, could that be used instead of the baking soda & water combination or in conjunction with it?

i also noticed that among the list of supplements are magnesium & magnesium citrate or magnesium chloride. does this mean that both magnesium & citrate or chloride needs to be taken? would it be enough to take the magnesium citrate or chloride?

how about niacin? is it the same as niacinamide or is it a form of niacinamide?

I'm somewhat of a novice at this so i'm trying to educate myself in this whole process, which at times can be a bit overwhelming.

i've had little or no success in finding a couple of things on the list, such as tungsten, disodium edta, molybdenum & molybdenum. any suggestions on where to look for them?

last question - any suggestion on how to take all of these in a day without upsetting your system.

please respond in a timely fashion, as time is of the essence for me.

mahalo for your cooperation

How does one "clean" their body of endo? I believe I have some creating a blockage in my colon as my digestive system shuts down and behaves as if it is compacted (only the clear mucus comes out) during my period. Right now I am taking bioidentical progesterone, Mg, and have eliminated many chemicals. Idk what else to do other than eliminate wheat (so what that be a paleo diet???) and my mercury fillings and maybe go back to getting Apple Cider Vinegar every day (I did this up until a couple of yrs ago). (I recently go kicked off of birth control after being on it for 15yrs fro endo due to a blood clot and now, I am having to try to deal with this naturally). Oh, I have also been taking Fibrovan and am going to also try Indole-3-carbinol (I3C). I have also been taking Iodine. Thanks, Lahoma

Please read the book what your doctor may not tell you about menopause by John Lee, he has two pages in his book on how those cysts come about and how to deal with them....

Don't worry if you are not in menopause, he is a specialist in Ob/gyn for his life work, many women have looked to him for answers.

Eliminate Wheat

Endometriosis- no wheat. When you say Ginger, you mean fresh ginger, or powdered ginger?

Eliminate Wheat
Posted by Lauren (Whitehorse, YT) on 01/27/2009

Fresh ginger, Grind it yourself! Powdered ginger works in your food, but against your tummy it has to be fresh, it's more potent that way.

By eliminating Wheat from your diet are you eliminating Whole Wheat products as well? Sandra B.

Eliminate Wheat
Posted by Lauren (Whitehorse, YT) on 07/07/2009

You need to eliminate ALL wheat. Its in everything, so it will be pretty hard to do for the first few months, but you will feel better. I eliminated wheat, rye, corn and oats. Wheat is the main one to get rid of. But i developed an allergy to corn, so i went on a body detox. And never felt better. Now i can eat corn, oats and rye again, but NO wheat ever again. The pain was to much, to many hospital visits, to many surgeries. Wheat isnt worth it!

I'm glad it helped you! As for pregnancy try taking maca root, and cherry blossom. They will help increase your fertility

Thank you so much for the information and your update Stella. I had surgery 6 months ago to remove some the endometriosis and want to avoid any future female related surgeries.

I will try the milk thistle and nettle for my endometriosis. I am taking EVCO and turmeric on a daily basis for other ailments and love it and am seeing a positive effects on my body.

Multiple Remedies

Apart from the home remedies you can try a combination of ayurvedic and homoeopathic remedies which are 100% safe and natural, free from side effects. Remedies such as OM24 ENDOmetease formula and C46 ENDOmetease formula gives good results. They work on our body by correcting the hormonal imbalances that cause the endometrial tissue to implant in places other than the uterine cavity;restoring the female reproductive endocrine axis to normalcy;providing relief from symptoms like abdominal pain and strengthening the immune system so that it may clear the retrograde menstruation properly thus preventing abnormal implantation. Along with this you also need to do some relaxation exercises with meditation and yoga.

Yes iodine deficiency could definitely be the cause or part of the cause of your endometriosis.42% of women with endometriosis have thyroid problems.1 woman cured her endo by taking iodine http://www.topix.com/forum/health/endometriosis/TUA0R4LDRL0G919BH and quite a few women have cured their PCOS by following the iodine protocol.
