BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I am writing in because for the last 6 months I had been suffering from an issue with Fibroids. I had non stop bleeding sometimes extremely heavy periods to the point were my blood count level was around 7.2 . at one point I was given a blood transfusion because of the amount of blood loss. I went to see my Dr. who did a biopsy and ultrasound and had determined that I was suffering from Fibroids and this was the reason for the continuous bleeding.

My Dr. gave me two options, to have an IUD inserted with no guarantees that this would work and may fall out or a Hysterectomy. I was also taking birth control pills to try to stop the bleeding as well with no results. I read the recommendations for ACV and Baking Soda for Fibroids and I decided to try it. The first couple of days I was not feeling too well, I felt really weak and had no energy, however , I took it for about 1 week and the bleeding has stopped. I now have another appointment to see my Dr , for another exam to see if the Fibroid is still there. I want to thank Ted for the recommendation and say I feel great! thanks again

Castor Oil Packs

HI DJ from Colorado,

Could you tell me how large your fibroids were? I would like to try a natural cure for healing from fibroids. I am wondering if castor oil packs can shrink all sizes of fibroids. I have a few, one is 7.5 cm, and a 4cm cyst on one of my ovaries. One fibroid is calcified.

Thanks so much.

Black strap molasses:
I had a protuding fibroid the size of a GRAPEFRUIT---that was trying to abort itself through my cervix. Before I almost bled to death I had it surgically cut out. It developed over 6 months and just after I was prescribed birth control pills (hormones)from an obgyn. I stopped the pills after two weeks but the fibroid continued to grow.

i gulped bs molasses from the jar after the surgery. Then i stopped drinking that nasty bsm and eliminated the birth control pills. I changed my diet. No meat, eggs,( which is full of hormones ) no fish, and minimal dairy products and (only if RBST free or goats milk.) LOW FAT, HIGH FIBER is good. I eat kale on my sandwhiches instead of lettuce etc.

I eat sour kraut and drink water water water. I HAVE NOT HAD ONE INCIDENCE SINCE 2003. THATS ABOUT 6 YEARS.

If I slip up on this regimen, I notice it. My next period is clotty, lasts longer, and is more painfull, the tint is red/orange. ---TIME TO get my diet back on track BUCKLE DOWN!

Hi, Can you tell me if you only used ACV or added anything else like lemon or baking soda. If you used ACV only how many times did you take per day and in what quantity. I am booked in for an operation in June for fibroids and would like to try it out. I dont want to lose my uterus as I dont have any kids yet.

I can truly say that when taking 2tbs. of ACV and a squeeze of lemon juice, it cured my fibroid and I lost weight. I went to the doctor and had the Mirena (IUD) placed in to control the heavy bleeding. During my 6weeks checkup the IUD apprently came out. I was sent to have an ultrasound done and the fibroid had degenrated. I also lost 22pounds in 6weeks. My doctor wanted to removed my uterus, but I prayed about it said no to the surgery. Thank God for ACV!!!!

Fibroids and Black Strap Molasses:

After reading the success other ladies were having, I dediced to try BSM for my Fibroids. The last 2 1/2 weeks, I have been taking Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses first thing in the morning. I take a tablespoon, mixed in about 2 ounces of hot water and about two ounces of 2% milk or soy milk. My cycle started Monday and I am happy to report that I did not cramp for two days like before. I only cramped for a short time the first day. I had one heavy day and did not pass any clots at all. Today is my last day but I'm barely flowing.

I'm 36 yars old, I just left my OB GYN, I had myomectomy 5 years ago thinking i would have kids within 3 years after the surgery as my Doctor suggested, even though I was not married yet and had no prospects...well here i am five years later in the same social staus with my uterus the size of a 5 month fetus. I had also taken a low dose bc that caused clots the size of my fist and drained me physically and emotionally. My doc suggested I would probably need another surgery but this would reduce my chances of being able to carry a child. Ive cried for the last 2 hours until i read your blogs...thank you ladies! i'm running to the health food store now and with a little prayer, faith, and acv and bsm I will be healed from these tumors!

for fibroids -stop all microwaved meals or foods. This works and works fast. I did this about 10 years ago and did not have to have surgery. Recently, last year, I got rid of the microwave altogether. I have not missed it at all. Heating up foods does not take that long. Please stop with the micro wave. Thanks

Fibroids and Anemia GONE!

I have wrote on here a couple times and this is my 1 year update. My anemia is gone, my iron has been normal for voer a year now and my periods are light and normal. I was in really bad a shape over 2 yrs ago and although I was only 40 my Dr. wanted me to get a hysterectomy. I refused and did tons of research about fibroids and anemia. This is what I learned:These are the things I did immedietly: Got off the pill, Fibroids are cause by estrogen so I figured why feed it more? I did the BSM in Cream of Wheat with raisins(cream of wheat, raisins and black strap molasses are very high in Iron and you will be feeling better)every morning, Apple Cider Vinegar with apple cider at night and watched what I ate and drank. Caffeine and alcohol effects fibroids and can make bleeding worse. Don't take your iron with calcium or calcium fortiifed OJ.

My routine for the past year has been:
Glass of green juice every morning ( I drink Odawalla), if I drink coffee I order a single shot only, and have only one a day. My vitamins are Garden of Eatin Perefect Food (more green minerals and vitamins) Women's Living Green Liquid-Gel Multi Vitamin, Irwin Naturals, (lots of minerals and vitamins from plants) DIM(helps regulate estrogen), B-100, Evening Primrose Oil, and occasionaly Iron Picolate during my cycles. I've come to the point that if I don't need the iron it will make me nauseated.

I'm telling you this has worked for me! And I tried all kinds of things! I read tons of books, posts, tried this that! But thak God I did not listen to my Dr. and get a hysterectomy! At one point my cycle was so bad I almost passed out! My iron was 24! So don't think maybe her problems weren't that bad! They were bad and I was really scared!

So, I hope this helps someone out there, our bodies are amazing and when they try and tell us something we just gotta listen and rethink the way we do things. Good luck and feel free to write if you have any questions!

Thanks for your sharing what brands to use after reading all the post I found yours most helpful on the type of ACV and BSM to buy. Some on here used the sulpured kind of molases and did not realize the sulphur would promote bleeding.

I hope they give this another try using the right kind. I was having clots as big as my fist while taking a low dose BC pill that used to help control my bleeding I am scheduled for Uterine fibroid Emboliztion at the end of March thank goodness for this site. My bleeding is just spotting now and that is great news.

Posted by Gloria Freeney (Rowlett, TX) on 02/01/2009

Hello! My name is Gloria Crawford Rowlett, TX, I am 44 years of age, I have been diagnose with uterine fibroids since 1996. As of Jan 2009 I went in for a yearly check-up at my OB-GYN and she stated the fibroids has increased in growth from 6cm to 8cm. I went to the Herb Mart and I was told about the BSM cause I was also told my blood iron was reading 35 which I wasn't yet on the border line of anemic yet, cause border line is 33. The OB-GYN stated I should be taking iron supplements everyday and I explained to her I can't take the iron pills, cause it makes my stomach hard and constipated. The OB-GYN stated she still recommend that I take the iron capsules everyday. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and thats when I was told to take BSM which I started taking since this week 1/29/09. Please help me out with this, my doctor has prescribed me with the birth controls since last year which has slowed my bleeding down a lot. My question is should I stop the birth controls while taking the BSM and how much BSM should I take daily. I was told by one of the specialist at the herb mart to take 1 tblsp twice a week.

Sincerely,
Freeney

I live in South Africa and have a friend who had been suffering with seven painful uterine fibroids for four months. Unfortunately, she couldn't afford health insurance, and in the Township where she lives, the hospital facilities are not exactly confidence inspiring. As result, she was afraid to go there for a much needed operation.

In desperation, she came to stay with me. She was at her wits end and almost suicidal from the never ending pain. I took her to my local doctor. After examining her he announced he could do nothing further, except prescribe pain killers and give her a letter of introduction to a much better free hospital. That hospital scheduled an appoint for a consultation some three months later. She was sleeping most of the day, unable to eat without vomiting afterwards. Could not bend over, nor have a proper bowel movement.

Even after the hospital consultation, she'd probably have to wait six months to year to actually have the op, as fibroids are not regarded as priority cases. This made her even more depressed and tearful. I started juicing for her; fresh fruit and veggie juices in place of meals. She got somewhat better and the pain was less, but she was still in very bad shape and zonked out from the pain killers and stress. Finally I gave her apple cider vinegar. One tablespoon in a little water, three times a day. Within two days she was totally free of pain. She had good bowel movements and regained ALL of her previous strength, energy and vitality within a week.

That was two months back. Since then she has telephoned me to say she feels terrific and thinks the fibroids are gone. She will not be going for that operation now! ACV IS A MIRACLE. (I understand it also works just as well for period pains.)

Does anyone know if they make ACV in a pill form? I am sure it would be missing something, but it would be better than not taking it at all! Thanks

EC: Yes, acv in pill form is available online and at health food stores. However, it's not nearly as effective as drinking acv!

I have been using the BSM and ACV baking soda remedy for about 6 weeks.Out of that 6 weeks i have been bleeding for 4, not always heavy but heavy in the last week .My stomach is not as hard and bloated as before, my cramps are less frequent and not as painful. I could feel the fibroid and it does seem smaller but I have very little energy and am so tired of the bleeding I am thinking could surgery be so bad....in spite of watching Suzuki's documentary called Sex,Lies, and Hysterectomies!

since it has been 10 years since i first noticed my fibroid I know it may take a long time so I am trying to be patient. Next I will add the mineral packs to my regime and see how that goes.Maybe i have had the fibroids too long!

I started using ACV just because I read that it was good for you. I had no idea it helped your cycle or fibroids. I discovered that on my own before I found this website. It should be organic with the "mother of vinegar" in it. This is the ugly looking stuff with little strings floating around in it. Otherwise, it serves no purpose other that salad dressing. My cycles were less painful. However, once I stopped drinking it, the pain returned. So, I am back on it and adding molasses this time. For people who say it's not working, make sure you are using the correct form. I do not know the size of the fibroid the Dr says I have but I know ACV has helped me.

no the doctor would not tell you about natural means to treat fibroids because it would keep people out of the doctors office there for interfering with his lively hood which is prescribing medicine and patients going under the knife. natural treatments take time. you have to be patient and give them time to work

I have a friend living in toledo, ohio where I stayed only three years ago, my gyn doctor is there who diagnosis me with Fibroids in 1996. I have a case where mine shrinked and one passed based on using a natural remedy my friend gave me. Take Flax seed water soluble capsules and make sure they are the purest form, along with lysine it works. The one that passed was stuck in my opening but the doctor pulled it out and tested it. He found nothing. When I stop taking the products one grew almost an inch. I have since began the regiment again, this time I won't stop till they are gone.

I have fibroid tumors, heavy clotting periods and anemia from this. It was horrible every month. I am 49 and every year for the past 5 years my doctor would say "they will disapear when you go through menopause" So my life isn't important now??? I found this web site and read about the Black Strap Molasses. I was sceptical, but was eager to try anything. I put a tablespoon with instant oatmeal every morning. I just had my first cycle since trying this. OMG it WORKS!!!!! No heavy day with clots!!! I can't believe it. I am so excited to tell everyone!

I have been using APV and BSM for about 8 days to trat what I believe are large fibroids. I also have pain in my upper right abdominal quadrant that seems to be gas because i get relief from gas relieving meds.

Anyway, my skin feels great but I still feel not so great. Rashs, itching etc. leaves me to think I have yeast issues as well. Long story short I mistrust conventional medicine and pretty much self diagnose when possible. New symptom to report is white froth and what looks kind of like cream in my urine.

i am 49 yrs old and have peri menopause, last period lasted 3 weeks with heavy bleeding for at least a week. My symptoms are keeping me home bound and usually experiencing some varying form of pain and discomfort. I hope and pray i can improve my health somewhat with the natural tratments on this site. I took 2-3 tblsp.each of ACV and BSM , yesterday i added 1/4 tsp.baking soda and started doubling my ACV treatment, once in the morning, once in the evening. Let you know if anything seems to be working.

I am a 40 yr old woman recently diagnosed with multiple uterine fibroids and blocked fallopian tubes. I am curious to learn more about the use of BSM/ACV. I've read the reviews posted on this site but remain unclear about how to ingest the BSM/ACV. I am currently adding 2 tablespoons of BSM and 2 tablespoons of ACV in 8 oz warm water twice daily. Is this adequate or should I be ingesting these first and following with water? Any suggestions? Thank you.
