Water and Air

I am finding that Water and Air are dissolving my fibroids. Yes, it sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it's true. Twice a day for the last two weeks, I've been standing up against the wall of my studio apartment breathing deeply, doing an exercise from the Book of Internal Exercises by Stephen T. Chang. (I inhale sharply and exhale while maintaining a stiff abdomen.) After the first day of doing this, I noticed my fibroid protrusion was lessened. Also, I've been drinking 5 glasses of lukewarm water a day, sprinkled with a bit of tumeric. The water seems to be literally washing the fibroids away as I notice what looks like to be be pieces of the dissolving fibroid membrane in my stool.

Could it be that water and air naturally contain the enzymes needed to dissolve fibroid membranes if concentrated? I'm becoming a believer.

I used Depends all the time :( I was scheduled for a surgery in August and since nothing seems to work I changed my diet to a Whole Foods Plant Based diet in May. The size of the fibroid went from 5cm to 2.9cm. YES to Flaxseeds meal, Rasberry, Yarrow, & Fenugreek tea, fruits, vegetables, grains, oatmeal, apple cider, monk fruit sweetener ... better if all is organic. NO to pesticides, sugar, dairy products, meat, coffee, process foods, alcohol, oils. In my case, Estrogen made them grow & Progesterone as well. This is a good source - https://nutritionfacts.org Also, Netflix: ‘Food Choices'. Changing my diet and adding a relaxation activity (yoga or knitting) It changed my life for better!

Grapeseed Extract

Well, Let me first say, I've had fibroids and ovarian cysts for over 7 years. They have progressively gotten worse and worse as far as heavy clotting periods, PMS, and weight gain. Basically my life revolves around my periods. I don't "do" western medicine so I only go to the doctor to find out what's going on. I'm also a vegetarian. My job is that of performer, so I've had to be meticulous about scheduling shows around my cycle. I'm so excited right now I had to share this immediately. It's early days, I'm only into day 4 of my period, but the change has been incredible. For a whole week before my period I did castor oil packs over where I consider the fibroids are. I rented movies, and spent every evening for about an hour and a half with the pack on my belly, and a heating pad over the area. Also, from the first day of my period I've been taking 2 (100mg) grapeseed extract tablets 3 times a day. They give me a bit of lose stool, but that's the least of my problems after all the bleeding I've endured over the years. Ok the report is: So far my bleeding has been cut in half, if not even more. A few very small clots, as apposed to huge clots. I feel different. I don't feel exhausted, and I'm thinking a miracle has happened to me. I don't know if it's the grape seed or the packs, but I am going to continue this procedure. I'm not sure how often I should do the packs, but I read in this forum that the grapeseed should be done only during your period to keep it's potency on your system. Oh, also something else. I had been taking BSM for over a year, (no decrease in bleeding, but other very good effects) and I read on this forum that House of Herbs had the most iron, so I orderd a whole case of it.. but the label is very sparse, and I think it might be sulfured, and that is not good because it thins the blood, so the only other thing I've changed is that I've cut OUT the sulfured BSM. I will update as I find out more, but right now I'm extremely happy. Day 4 and it's been a walk in the park!!!

i just found this site tonight. my dr wants me to have a hysterectomy, but i won't. i know that it is an unecessary surgery. i have like 10 fibroids. i timed my bleeding to the minute. i can soak up a superplus tampon and pad every 30min for 8hrs, day 1. day 2 its every 2hrs then day 3-5 normal. i rarely have cramps. i thought my case was bad until i heard about people being on their periods for 2 plus weeks. i asked my dr to let me try the pill, which he really didn't want me to being that the pill feeds the fibroid and makes it larger. anyway, the pill worked just a little, such as bleeding every hr for 8hrs instead of every 30 min.... i had to switch pills because my insurance accidentally found out that they gave me the wrong type. when i switched, it gave me an allergic reaction; switched again, still a reaction (made me break out in bumps/hives) was taken off until i go to my next drs appointment. i think the pill is still in my system because now i will break out in hives out of the blue, put benadryl on it and it goes away. i just found a site today that said 200mg of ibuprofen every 4-6hr will slow it down by 25-30%. i have been taken it every time i change my tampon which appears as if it works because i change every 1-2 hrs...(hope i don't OD) i am about to get off of work. i hope that ___ sells the molasses. i hope it works. glad i ran into this website. will keep yall posted.

I've experienced all the symptoms of Fibroids. I did BSM and it did significantly help; enough that my partner noticed the reduction in blood. I became a Vegetarian also to cut back on eating animals and consuming their toxins and fatty materials.

I'm using terramin clay (eat plenty of apples for fiber) now to stop the fibroids. What I have noticed coming out of my body now is astonishing. It's really de-toxing. I stopped using BSM and not solely use the clay, although I may return to the BSM for a little while longer. Both the clay and BSM are rich in iron, so my hair and nails are growing like mad and are extremely thick and strong. I'm now begriming to naturally lose the weight I gained from the fibroids. I deduced that the product will speak for itself and I'm not going to kill myself in the gym trying to lose weight. My appetite has diminished so that I eat one complete meal a day and one small one in the evening, if at all. My cravings for sweets is gone; however, I do chew ice - now I think it more to do with work stress than anemia as my eyes are white with no discoloration and the other signs of a healthy body are reappearing. I will say that I need to get into shape. Although, fatigued doesn't last long, walking up stairs just about kills me. I ordered the clay through cal earth minerals when I saw the discovery channel piece on its calcium ab/adsorption benefits too.

Just finished my second "normal" period thanks to BSM. Fairly certain that any fibroids are reducing in size as the pressure I've been feeling in a couple of places is now much less... but still there somewhat. Plus, 99% reduction in heart palpatations - and they were bad ones, very scarey.

Still waiting for the fibroid tumors to go, having faith they will. I've taken apple cider vineger for 40 years. It's how I keep my weight down. I'm glad we have this website to check out. I've also used Cayenne Pepper daily for about 3 years. Something is keeping me healthy, so I'll keep doing it. Thanks to all of you that take time to post. age 72, feel like 40

Warning:

I have done extensive research on fibroids and their cures from several sources (books, internet, etc). I learned that cow's milk is not at all good for those with uterine fibroids. I know some of you said in order to get molasses down you mix it with warm milk. This may be alright for those of you who do not have fibroids but for the others who do have fibroids, please do not mix it with cow's milk. You may use almond milk or rice milk. What I personally do is mix it with plain warm water and some apple cidar vinegar. Now I do realize that, for some of us, this may still be hard to get down, if so, go for the almond or rice milk concoction. The molasses is good stuff so people please take it religiously! Good luck. Like many others here, I just came back from the doctor's office and my surgery options were explained to me. My fibroid doubled in 2 years and is now 9cm. I am anemic and started having periods like a 14 year old teenager with a lot of clotting....also have lower back pain. I am 43 and the doctor said that considering menopause is still far away, there would be a good chance for the fibroid to keep growing and cause further complications.
He also pointed out by the way, that menopause only shrinks fibroids by about 30-50% !!!

I would like to avoid surgery at all cost of course, and went online to research natural options. So here I am. Just downed my first Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with a bit of juice, and love the taste of Blackstrap Molasses anyways so no problem there taking it straight up.

I have a question however regarding the anemia. I was prescribed an iron supplement and am now wondering if I should still take it considering the BSM is quite high in iron. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS?

Update 11/7/23:

Since last posting, I have started taking the combination birth control pill in order to get my symptoms under control so that I may work and take care of responsibilities. I have to be honest, I have not been consistent with my at home remedies. I have been taking a multivitamin, probiotic, and turmeric almost daily, applying castor oil in belly button and on lower abdomen after almost every shower, green tea with juice from 1 whole lemon 3-4 days a week, and finally ACV and BSM randomly. I have found that taking the BSM straight off the spoon and chasing it with water is the best method for me. I have also started getting IV therapy with vitamin C and magnesium, as well as a D3 shot and will continue that once a month (more often if approved by gyno) for the next 6 months. My MRI results showed 6+ fibroids with 2 being cervical. the largest 2 measuring 5.4 cm and 1.3 cm. At this point I am welcoming surgery. I want to enjoy my life again. My follow up appointment is 11/27/23. I will update again then.

I had fibroid in 2014 and I got it operated (laproscopic)as well. Now on Nov 2015 I came to know from my Gyn that I have fibroid again, I am very tensed as I am putting on weight, majorly on my Tummy. I dont want to get it operated again as I want to conceive this year. I came across this website and thought of trying it.

I started taking ACV(1 Spoon) and BSM( 2 spoon) twice in a day, please help me...Can continue with this even after I conceive or I cannot take BSM and ACV when I am pregnant.

Please advice me what I suppose to do as I want to have child this year as I am already 36 yr old and suffering from fibroid. What I can do reduce my weight and shrink my fibroid without any medical procedure and parllely I can plan for family and conceive.

I would really appreciate your advice.

Dear Scopa,

Ok, now I understand what you are saying about the urgency situation.

I would just try 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass water in the morning and 1 Tablespoon of Molasses. I don't generally mix them together, but maybe some do. My son takes Blackstrap at night to prevent leg cramps. You could do the vinegar in the morning and the Blackstrap at night.

I suspect that the fibroids decrease in size depending on many different things--including the size of the fibroids, the general health of the mother and the treatment method chosen. I hope you are one of the ones who will have it resolved in 6 months!

Regarding the charcoal poultice, here is a link with a video and written instructions on how to make them. You can make them and apply them over the abdomen at bedtime nightly or even just several nights a week.

Another thought - Frankincense essential oil is excellent for cysts and such. You might try massaged several drops into the abdomen each morning.

You mention in another post that you are dealing with hyperthyroidism as well. It is possible that is affecting the fibroids and as you work to fix that problem, your fibroids will be helped as well. Regarding that, I am sorry about that. I lost a ton of hair after taking a prescription for hypothyroidism. It was pretty discouraging!

Hi Sam,

Thank you for responding. I have been using the Apple cider vinegar straight. It does not bother me at all. I take the one tablespoon of the blackstrap then the apple cider vinegar once a day as Mama suggested, then about 20-30 minutes later I have to take my hyperthyroid meds (wish I didn't have to take those). As for the water I try to make up for it when I get home from work. It is really tough trying to navigate how much to drink during the day at work then having to worry about my long commute on public transportation back home. Someone in their early thirties should not have to worry about this. :-(

Wednesday will be officially a month since I have been using the remedy. I have not noticed any difference as yet. My cycle just started last night and it is just as heavy. We'll see if it the usual heavy and last the entire week.

@Mama

I went to whole foods and another health food store and neither of them carried the powder charcoal. They only have capsules. I will keep looking for a store that sells them. I just figured one of those big places would have it.

Dear Angela,

Apple cider vinegar pills might work as well. Some people find they do for a variety of conditions.

I think the blackstrap won't work as well in pill form. The pills often have an iron supplement too, which works well for some if the issue you are treating is anemia.

But blackstrap molasses has a lot of nutrients concentrated into it and needs to be taken as is. It would take a lot of pills to get the amount of nutrients in 1 Tablespoon of blackstrap. (And because of the added iron, I don't think you could take the equivalent of "blackstrap molasses pills" safely.)

Fibroids are caused by estrogen dominance. Meaning there is too much estrogen in the system. What can cause this imbalance is the food and products you consume daily. There are chemicals, added hormones and antibiotics in dairy, processed foods, meat, beauty products, etc. It's not caused by a fungus.

General Feedback
Posted by MJ (New Mexico) on 01/28/2023

Estrogen is exacerbated by the presence of fungus. And vice versa. You could think of estrogen as a perfect growth medium for fungus. So, truly, the two go hand and hand. It IS worth addressing fungal issues if fibroids are present.

I buy organic AND unsulphured, blackstrap molasses...get it at Whole Foods. I've been taking 1 Tbsp twice a day since August and have experienced good results. Still heavy bleeding, but manageable (was crazy heavy before and with huge clots). Practically no clots now and my period only lasts a week or less compared with three weeks. I'm a believer! TIP: Just swallow it as fast as you can. At first, I tried taking tiny "sips" off the spoon, but it's better to just get it over with. Also, in the middle of my cycle, I take a teaspoon twice a day instead of a tablespoon.

I just had to reply to inform other women about the effects of the use of ACV and BSM. I have been using the two for the past 3 weeks and I have to report that I feel as though the ACV is shrinking my fibroids since I am not able to feel them as I had before starting to use the ACV. It was so bad that it felt like the fibroid was pushing out the top of my stomach. Since starting the ACV I can not feel that pushing sensation any longer. In addition my period this month was so nice; I did not have the heavy bleeding like in previous months. My first two days of menstruation would be extremely heavy to the point it felt like a run away train that I could not get a handle on. But after using the BSM I had one of the best periods I've ever had in a long time. As I stated it has only been 3 weeks, but with the results that I've had I will continue to use ACV and BSM to see what the end will be and just because I feel better. For those who doubt I say what will it hurt to try this. We all want a more natural approach to our health so doubt no more and begin your road to naturally treating and possibly curing those awful fibroids. I hope this has been helpful and God Bless you ladies.

Hi Amanda,

I would first advise to avoid sugar whenever possible. Then I would advise to eat alkalizing foods. I have been reading posts on Earth Clinic for a few years now and have seen great reports on women using apple cider vinegar, blackstrap molasses, and even hormone balancing herbs like red raspberry leaf. A friend of mine who is a personal trainer here in Los Angeles believes that exercise which focuses on building core root energy is very important for women who have issues in the pelvic cavity, ie fibroids, ovarian cysts, bladder issues. She sends her lady clients to kundalini yoga, african dance and/or bellydance classes!

Please let us know what you learn!

Hi Tameka, I would take one ounce (approx. a shot glass full) of ACV with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda... When it stops fizzing, add about 12 to 16 ounces of water. I drink this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, then make another one and sip throughout the day when I am bleeding too heavily. It really, really helps! When a couple of hours goes by without sipping it.... I can tell by how heavy my flow gets. During really bad periods, I also take a glass to bed, and sip it in the night. Use a straw to keep it off your teeth if needed. When I am bleeding that heavy I don't care if I have a straw or not though!

Blackstrap molasses is also very good for this, but does not have as immediate of an effect for me personally. I take a tablespoon of it daily in my coffe. Love the taste.

Good luck to you, I know how miserable it is.... Take care.

To Ify (Nigeria) ---

For bleeding have a teasp. powdered turmeric divided to twice a day with some coconut milk or water. Use turmeric also in cooking veggies.

For shrinking fibroids use blackstrap molasses one to two tablesp. divided to twice a day with hot water slightly diluted and have with a straw to protect the teeth. This done for a few months.

For period it is best to leave alone at least for three days or more. Except ACV.

ACV should be good taken daily anytime up to one tablesp. with food or in drinks or water.

Let us know how it goes. Namaste, Om

1. From what I have read, people are using it mainly to shrink the fibroid, but it will also help with bleeding. For excessive bleeding, you can use the herb shepherd's purse.

2. I do not think there is a problem in taking them during your period.

3. It really depends on you. My wife is taking 1 Tbsp ACV (with baking soda in water) and 1 tsp BSM (in tea) 2 or 3 times a day. At first it was 1 Tbsp of the BSM but I reduced it because I was concerned about the high sugar intake.

You can also try mixing BSM with a very small amount of beet juice and aloe vera.

Many thanks for your replies.

So does this mean the ACV and BSM can be taken at any time? Like during periods and ovulation or are there separate times to take them? (Sorry, I just want to be sure :)

Again, how long should I take them? 2/3 months or more? I'd like to try for a baby as soon as the fibroids shrink. I'm 40.

Thanks again.

Hi, sorry to hear of your fibroids and all the associated health challenges. Blackstrap molasses will help you straight away- we are all different so the general dose is average you have to see how it works for you and the stage of your condition- if I am bleeding heavily I would take 1 tablespoon of Blackstrap Molasses washed down with a glass of water at least 3 times a day- the odd glass of water with 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar helps to stop bleeding too.

I suspect that we have these continual reoccurances because we do not change our nutrition. Once your diet becomes more alkaline this will help too- eat more veg and green salads.

If you read the fibroid section you will see that iodine is a great supplement to take to reduce cysts and fibroids aswell.

I think vitamins A and D from Cod liver oil helps too.

Organic unsulphered Blackstrap Molasses is great because the vitamins and minerals are in a natural state and easily absorbable.

Once your bleeding is under control and you are less anemic you can take a maintenance dose every day- I take 1 teaspoon, you'll have to experiment to see if that works for you. Good luck.

But since I started taking this mixture I have felt like my bulgy tammy has completely reduced. I am so exicited because I am getting back my normal shape. My periods this time were not heavy and took only 4 days unlike 7-8 days before. I also feel the tumor has reduced. After taking it for one month I will go back for scan to confirm and I will let you know my results. But I am already excited. Hi All! I tell you this condition is no joke.... I thank God for these online forums where we can share experiences. Well, .. 47 w/fibroids...and the rest you know. What has worked for me thus far has been loose leaf nettle w/raspberry leaf tea. Just make it w/equal parts. Try to drink it a week b4 "Auntie Flow", but she still comes a week early, tho her flow is not as heavy and she comes w/o the "dinosaur eggs". I do oatmeal often, and blueberries, walnuts, and I drink green tea, but need decaf. Finding it challenging to be consistent w/this regimen though, like I'd like. But noticed a difference fairly quickly-1. 5weeks or less. Of course when I can get organic, I do. But today I have started the BSM! , thanks to this sight and one I stumbled across re: BSM in the comments a mo. ago. Took 2tbs right from the spoon. Found I could handle that ok. "Auntie" said 'hello' today, and I know stress is part of her early shows. That's not new. Must continue to work on that thru-it-all! This condition can be so traumatizing that you just want to keep it from EVER happening again, so this month I'm doin the BSM, and I will start this weekend w/DIM or a combo cap of DIM and organic Maca, and Natto. It's finding what best works for the individual.. Praying for us all!

It's also very easy to make your own apple cider vinegar with apple cores and peels (as easy as making sauerkraut or kosher pickles), or your can use whole apples if you want to. It takes a few weeks, but it's very inexpensive and you know what's in it! There are many tutorials and recipes available on the web.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Molasses

Hi, Blackstrap molasses( unsulphered) does stop heavy bleeding take at least 3 tablespoonfuls with water and the flo usually stops very soon, there are lots of testimonies here that say long term use of Bsm shrank fibroids. Really these are general guidelines as we all react differently. There are other indications that fibroids are a symtom of iodine deficiency and vitamin a. You should check the vit a levels with a hair test first.

★★★★☆

Hello all. I am following up from my last post which was a month ago. This is regarding uterine fibroids. When I first started I was taking 2tsp of regular acv (it was all I had at that time) with 8oz of water, twice a day for the first ten days.

As soon as I was able, I got some Raw-unfiltered Organic ACV 'with the mother' and took 2tbsp w/ 12oz of water twice a day. Then I decided I wanted to add the blackstrap molasses, so I mixed 1tbsp of Blackstrap Molasses-unsulphured to the acv (twice a day). A week ago, I noticed weird changes with my stool. It became very soft then turned to diarrhea.

I never took this mixture on an empty stomach. I would eat, wait an hour then take the mixture. The diarrhea got to the point where I had to go to the hospital for dehydration. Mind you, I drank of plenty of water but it robbed me of my electrolytes and plain water wasn't replenishing it fast enough -as the doctor put it.

Once they put me on an IV and gave me fluids I was fine. The conclusion I came to regarding my bowels was mixing the molasses with the Apple Cider Vinegar because my eating habits found no possible suspects. What I decided to do was take them separate and see what happens.

Now I take the 2tbsp ACV w/ 1 tbsp honey w/8 oz lukewarm water once a day (in the morning). Then in the afternoon, I take 1tbsp of Blackstrap Molasses w/ 8 oz lukewarm water (once a day). The diarrhea stopped. Thank God for discernment. :-)

With that issue solved, I can talk about what changes have taken place with my menstrual cycle. As I mentioned before, I would get them every 20 days and they would last up to 8 days. Well, today marks the 20th day and I have not had my period yet. Last night I was out having dinner with a friend and I went to the restroom and I was spotting.

So I figured ok, its right on schedule. Well, by the time I got home, it stopped. It was strange because I didn't have the usual symptoms of breast tenderness, headache, bloating, fatigue or cramping; which is typical two weeks before my cycle even gets here. I'm just waiting for it to start and see how that turns out.

I don't know what this stuff is doing but its definitely doing something. I give the ACV & Blackstrap Molasses a thumbs up! Will return to share how the blood flow turns out. Peace and health to you all~ River
