Fibroids and Cysts
Due to a 6 cm intramural fibroid (diagnosed 18 months ago at 3,8 cm), I had been suffering terribly from heavy bleeding, debilitating cramps and breakthrough bleeding for over 15 months. On the 2nd day of my cycle, I would have to use 3 super plus tampons plus pads every hour for a 10 - 20 hour period of time. This was accompanied by such terrible pain that I couldn't walk without bending over. I would take 400 mg ibuprofen every 4 hours over a 24 hour time span, but still suffer tremendous pain. My periods would last between 7 and 10 days, though the bleeding was typically light after the 5th or 6th day. More often than not, I would then have bleeding or spotting between periods. As my cycles are relatively short (23 - 26 days), the breakthrough bleeding was obviously quite distressing to deal with.
Two and half months ago, I started drinking ACV twice a day with baking soda and water (1 tbsp ACV, 1/4 tsp BS, 300 ml water). Since then, I have not had any breakthrough bleeding. My periods, except for this last one, were so light that I didn't even use tampons. I rarely soak a pad within 3 - 4 hours and can sleep for 8 hours at a time each night! My periods now last approximately 5 days, with very little bleeding after that time. I still control the pain with ibuprofen, but it is no longer debilitating. I have been able to increase the dosage interval to every 6 hours within one 24 hour period, thereby reducing my ibuprofen intake to 1600 vs 2400 mg per cycle. I was also diagnosed with an ovarian cyst (3.5 cm) that might likely be a chocolate cyst. I had occasional sharp pains coming from my ovaries before starting the ACV, but haven't had any such pains in the last 7 weeks. This, however, could be due to the daily dosage of chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus -hard capsule 4 mg dried extract) which I have been taking for the last 5 weeks. I don't yet know whether the fibroid and/or the cyst have reduced in size, but I am feeling tremendously better -much healthier, less tired and run down. Also, I used to feel very depressed prior to my periods, but rarely feel this sadness anymore. I rode a rollercoaster of emotions, but this has stablised considerably. I feel happy and balanced most of the time, even the day or two before my period begins. I'll report back after my next ultrasound.

I was told about 4yrs ago that I had a cyst and fibroid. I took everything possible to get rid of them and nothing seemed to work including herbal pills and cleanses. Finally my aunt prepared a mixture of 5lbs of beets, 2lbs of carrots, half a bottle of non alcoholic red wine and 2 jars of molasses. I drank this mixture twice. The first one I took one shot glass three times a day before I ate for 15 days. The second batch I took two shot glasses a day one before breakfast and one before dinner. Your cycle should be heavy for the first couple of days. Alcoholic beverages are a definite no while taking this. I went for my ultra sound today and there were no cysts nor fibroids the technicians nor doctor could believe that they were all gone. I was also told that females should drink this remedy at least once a year to prevent any irregularities.

Fibroids and Black Strap Molasses:
After reading the success other ladies were having, I dediced to try BSM for my Fibroids. The last 2 1/2 weeks, I have been taking Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses first thing in the morning. I take a tablespoon, mixed in about 2 ounces of hot water and about two ounces of 2% milk or soy milk. My cycle started Monday and I am happy to report that I did not cramp for two days like before. I only cramped for a short time the first day. I had one heavy day and did not pass any clots at all. Today is my last day but I'm barely flowing.

I've read a lot of these testimonials and after reading so many women suffered the exact same conditions I have I really want to share something in addition to the molassas that really does make a life changing difference.
I too have had anemia problems all my life and they became severely worse when I developed fibroid cysts(myoma). After an ultra sound indicating some extremely large cysts my Doctor advised a hysterectomy was the only alternative in removing the fibroid cysts. I opted to get back with him about that decision. I researched for an alternative cure and what I found was a product called Fibrovan which not only rid me of my fibroid cysts in less then 60 days, but reversed my anemia within the first week. It saved me from having a hysterectomy and rid me of my chronic anemia.
After I rid my body of the fibroid cysts I then started a regular intake of a TBSP of molasses in my tea each morning as my sweetner and I have not had any anemia problems whatsoever in over a year. Mostly I have to give an enormous amount of praise and gratitude to the supplement but...the molasses too is making a difference in boosting my iron.
Dietary Changes

Just taking blackstrap molasses alone will take much longer if you continue to eat foods with added hormones. Fibroids are hormonal imbalances. You must detox your liver and remove all animal from your diet as well as all of the rest.. eating a majority of green leafy foods, remove every hormone and animal product from your diet and remove caffeine as well. then just wait,, it took me a year and my periods are finally at a place that i can actually walk around and work ...what a difference!!!

I have to say I was a total skeptic when I was reading about ACV & how it helps with menstrual problems. I suffered from fibroids & had 5 pounds of them removed last year. I also had been having a cycle about every 2 weeks which was driving me crazy that I thought having the fibroids removed would have cured. I tried ACV during the beginning of my last cycle & am very happy to report that it gave me a regular cycle of 28 days!!!! It has been over 2 yrs since I had a regular cycle of 28 days & this was done without the aid of birth control pill ~ YEAH!!!! Also, when I went back to the surgeon who removed my fibroids last year, he was surprised to find only 1 small growth of a fibroid. He said that he thought for sure that he would be going back inside of me again to remove more fibroids because typically they grow back after a year. I was so very happy about this :)

I sincerely believe that a vegan diet works combat fibroids. I have just started the vitex or chasteberry but have been using normal molasses for quite some time. I had no idea it was useful for shrinking fibroids because I use it to detoxify. A level tbsp. in a glass of hot water first thing every morning. I just have one or two heavy days and I feel more energetic since using the molasses because of the iron content. Also, my breakfast consists of oats, almonds, grounded flaxseeds, raisins etc.

I have been taking BSM for about two weeks now--and am keeping my fingers crossed that something wonderful is going to happen. The possibility of surgery to remove my fibroids totally scared me. I was scared not bec. I didn't want to remove the fibroids, but bec. I knew that there was a better way to handle the problem. Additionally, my doctor kept telling me that he was 90% certain that he would be able to remove the entire fibroid throught surgery; however, not once did he mention that the surgery indeed guaranteed that the fibroid would not grow back once removed. Luckily I discovered the BSM through this site and have been taking it since. The everyday bleeding has ceased, and I can finally say that I had an almost normal five day menstral flow. After all of the intense bleeding--when the initial bleeding began on day one--I was so scared that I was going to bleed so heavily. Now, I am confident that next month, I will have a normal flow. My rec. to anyone is---schedule regular/routine sonagrams. Don't let anyone talk you into surgery until you are completely certain that the fibroids are indeed in your way or are not shrinking. Last but not least, I just would like to greet everyone and highlight the fact that being able to share our thoughts/feelings/experiences on line like this is simply priceless. We are able to communicate and we are able to enlighten--what a powerful TOOL!!!

This stuff works! I have suffered badly from fibroids for about 3 years now. I have tried alot of remedies to no avail. I was scheduled to have a myomectomy. Then I came across this site and started taking the blackstrap molasses in September 2007. Three tablespoons a day every single day. It has a horrible taste, but it is SO worth it. Immediately, I noticed a tremendous change in my bleeding. I would almost hemorrorhage, but now it is almost a normal flow. I was absoutely amazed! I had been praying for a a natural remedy and I think I have found it. It has also helped tremendously with my anemia. Previously, I had been to the hospital 3 times because of fainting spells. I have also totally changed my diet and only eat natural foods now and I get foot reflexology treatments done once a month. Also, saying the Lord's Prayer 15 times daily is good too.(If you're religious or spiritual). I have made alot of progress, but I still get hard cramps, but my periods are about 70% better than before. Ladies, just try it and give it chance, because it truly works!!!!

Without warning, I started experiencing pain from the fibroids I was recently diagnosed with. It seemed like right after the diagnosis the pain started even though they had probably been there for a while. I would wake up having to take four ibuprofen tablets, and that was just to start the day. It seemed like I was constantly taking pain relievers. I was praying for a natural cure and came across this website. I immediately started on the black strap molassess along with the apple cider vinegar. The first day, I waited for the pain to hit, and I'm still waiting! I was amazed how quickly relief came just by taking 1 tablespoon of the molasses and 1 tablespoon of the acv a few times a day. I feel stronger, more alert and focused, and I don't have as many food cravings. I don't know why it works but it works for me. I went from being doubled over in pain for hours waiting for the pain reliever to kick in, to enjoying my life and being more active and involved. I just have to thank God because I, too, prayed for a cure and somehow I got to this website for the answer. Thanks to all for posting and I hope what I have written will help someone else.

re: Molasses for Fibroids... My last period was 18 days of intense bleeding. I was so wiped out and worried about what was happening to me. I could feel a small knot/buldge on one side of my abdomen and figured it was a fibroid. Found this site about 2 weeks ago and have been taking dark, unsoldered Molasses ever since. Will get BSM next time I go to a larger town. This period is 3 days now, very light and cramping only one day. I've not had a period this easy on me since going off birth control 8 years ago. I'm impressed and thank the creator(s) and contributors of this site. I think you've saved my parts. Me Happy.

Hi all, I was chatting with a lady at work who suggested BSM and ACV [apple cider vinegar]. For a year I have suffered with constipation, bad back and general tighness of muscles in the neck area. For 20 yrs i have had trouble with fibroids (had surgery but too multiple to remove all). On 26-5-07, I bought BSM and ACV. I took it right away, doses-2 large spoons of BSM in warm water, followed by 3 tablespoons of ACV in warm water. I done this morning b4 breakfast and last thing at night. The second day on it I had a very easy bowel movement and have done everyday since. My constipation is now a thing of the past. My back (which I had to get medication from the doctors for-didnt help) was cured during the week, along with the muscle ache. I sleep deeper and dont seem to eat as much. I totally know that this 'tonic' as I like to call it will clear my fibriods eventually. I also want to see after 3months how i do as I want to give it to my Auntie for her Arthritis. I thank you all for posting your experiences as this has given me constant strength and encouragement. I look forward to this journey and please if you are having or have had VICTORY over fibriods with 'The Tonic' then please post so I can read it. I am a big beliver in foods for healing and this sure is a testament to God's produce. smiles

For uterine fibroids or ovarian cysts, which have a high possibility of being caused by too much estrogen in the system, try Calcium D-Glutarate. It removes excess estrogen and helps with many female problems.

I just read that pain like that can indicate that the fibroid is breaking up and your body is ridding itself of the toxins that are in it, hence the pain with the treatment.

Hello everyone
After reading Ann's (Calgary) testimony, I decided to give Medorrhinum 1M ago for fibroids. I had a myomectomy 8 years ago but the fibroids grew back bigger and lots of them...with all the discomfort: anaemia, tiredness, constipation from iron tablets....
I took 3 pellets on 11 /11/15. I was sleeping longer but was sharp and fit upon waking up. Which is a miracle!
I took the 2nd dose on 25/11/15 ( my periods began that same day and came so calmly with no pain or symptoms at all! ). The 26/11/15 evening I started bleeding profusely with a lot of fresh looking clots but no pain! The more I bled, the better I felt. For the first time ever I didn't feel tired or weak after bleeding so much! My swollen stomach went physically down. My hair and nails grew stronger and looked cleaner, I could clean, tidy and cook, read. Usually I am bed bound in pain and can' t lift a finger!
My elimination is perfect (after every meal) or just after a walk! My mind is clearer, I can now read and remember...
I made a mistake with the first dose and took my iron and Vit D3 tablets 2 days after taking it. I felt very uncomfortable. I stop. Last Saturday(28/11/15) I felt sick and vomitted at night 11.45pm) but I was rather relieved afterwards and slept like a baby.
I am fit and look refreshed and "clean" usually I look weak and tired during and after my periods....
I read that you should not drink coffee and herbal teas with Medorrhinum. How long after taking it can I have coffee/herbal teas? I used to drink a lot of green tea, milk thistle... and ground coffee every now and then. I sometimes do crave coffee in this weather...
I also used to massage my lower abdomen with some essential oils. When is it ok to resume?
Are there other "Don'ts" when taking Medorrhinum? Please share with us. I will update my progress and hope everything goes well and will help somebody else. Thanks. Annie.

I know the Medorrhinum worked because I am now able to live a normal life. over the last 20 yrs. I had to stop all physical activities ( sports) due to the severe anemia. Since taking the remedy in January 2015 I have resumed all my regular activities. I now exercise several days a week, including weight training. I no longer have major blood loss during my menstrual cycle. I am able to work full time again as my energy is now normal, even high. I have been searching for the last 20 yrs. for a cure desperately. NOTHING else worked. Molasses, apple cider vinegar etc. - these are all band-aids. They don't work for women who are really suffering from fibroids.
Do not worry about side effects. I also gave this remedy to my 14 yr. old son. (1 Homeopathic remedy may also be used to treat certain other types of illnesses). The sideffect he had was sleepiness for three days and mild fever. The chronic illness he was having NEVER recurred after that (recurring cold sores/blisters in mouth). On the second day after taking the remedy. His mouth started tingling and later blisters started coming up (that was the sickness coming out from deep within his body) A few hours later the blisters disappeared. and NEVER came back again. The next day he was up and around like nothing had happened, playing and happy. That is normally how homeopathy works. (The fatigue shows that the remedy is working)
You have to remember with homeopathy that this type of holistic medicine works differently. imagine a tree trunk cut in half. There are concentric circles small in the middle going outward. That represents your body. Homeopathy takes the illness from deep down in your body (middle of tree trunk) to the outside in order to get it out. So you may see symptoms as the sickness leaves your body. Mostly fatigue. It is TEMPORARY. let it happen. It will not harm you. The sickness has to come out. Homeopathy is safe. It can also be given to babies. My side effects were as they were, yours may not be. Do it It works. You can also consult the website how-avoid -hysterectomy.com as I listed above if you want more info.
i did not go for further tests. I observe that I can walk, jump, work, play , think like a normal person now. My periods are completely normal, no heaviness now after decades. That's proof for me. Doctors were not able to cure me. I don't need to go back for any check.
Medorrhinum also comes in 200 strength. If you are really hesitant then you can try that first since it's not so strong. (Though the 1 m strength is best. )Take at two week intervals, 3 pills. Take , wait two weeks, then take again. Then stop. Wait and see how you feel.

★☆☆☆☆WARNING!
I was someone who had a big fibroid (8-11 cm) but little did I realize how big that really is until a doctor pointed it out to me. I didn't believe any of my doctors who said that I must consider surgery. I thought they just want to make money, that's all! I kept coming to this site most of all and read bleeding experiences of women whos bleeding would miraculously stop on ACV etc. None of these women reported their condition a few months from their severe bleeding episodes. So I kept hoping my fibroid would just disappear or at the most the symptoms would come to an end. I was WRONG. I would just keep looking for & trying natural remedies one after another while my condition kept getting worse and I ended up in the ER 4-5 times, with profuse bleeding, gigantic clots, high pulse rate (you can die if the bleeding isn't controlled) and was given blood transfusions multiple times, my levels had dropped as low as 6! Finally I relented for a surgery after struggling with pain, anemia, fatigue and bleeding for 5 YEARS! I have been the happiest since, with my energy back and am no more anemic for the first time in life and my blood levels are in the range of 12-14 without taking iron pills! My request to all women is, if you are consistently having severe symptoms, don't take health into your own hands or even surrender it to naturopaths. Just go to the traditional doctors! You'll be glad you did. Mainstream medicine and doctors saved my life! Please be smart to know when to stop trying natural remedies and when to trust the medical industry. This site is a great resource otherwise!

Deborah, I have been dealing with fibroids for almost 5 years. You may want to discontinue blackstrap molasses. Sugar, and high glycemic foods caused heavy bleeding in me immediately. I have eliminated symptoms, but I want the fibroids completely eliminated. So I have started researching again. One thing that eliminated excessive bleeding is taking fiber supplementation to detox excess extrogens, I like apple pectin best. You can also use grapefruit pectin, psyllium. Chia seeds may work. Leave white flour products alone too.
Lugol's Iodine
Posted by Bill (San Fernando, Philippines) on 12/28/2015
Hi Tonya...There is a great difference between taking a remedy like Dr Brownstein's proven lugol's iodine protocol against fibroids and taking another completely different protocol using kelp that delivers much smaller amounts of iodine to your body.
I mention this only because Dr Brownstein, in his Iodine book(which I've read) clearly states that even if you take 50 mgs of 5% lugol's iodine per day (8 drops), it will still take you between 3 to 6 months to achieve proper iodine levels for your body and for your thyroid. He also recommends that people should take at least 100 mgs iodine(16 drops) a day if they have fibroids or cysts. And there is just no way that store bought kelp can deliver that per diem dosage.
And no way will just taking kelp deliver dosages anywhere near what Dr Brownstein recommends for iodine and fibroids. I bought some kelp off the internet some years ago. I thought it was a good European brand. When I looked at the label I saw that one pill of this kelp extract delivered only 150 micrograms of iodine to the body. The point I'm making here is that everything is standardized and regulated now by the drugs companies -- even alternative nutrients. So if you're taking only micrograms of iodine from the heavily regulated kelp extract then I suspect that this will have very little effect on your fibroid problem -- because the dose is way too small. You will really need to take much larger milligram dosages of iodine (as recommended by Dr Brownstein) for any significant curative effect on your fibroid and endometrial problem.
