BHT, Magnesium, and switch to clean water for Gallstones; Gallbladder Attacks

Good day! I have suffered from gallstones causing gallbladder attacks twice yearly beginning fall of 2019. I have found a very simple remedy that allows me to cheaply treat my gallstones when they present each spring and fall.

Number 1: Most remedies will not work long term if the underlying issue remains present. For me one of my underlying issues is the quality of water I consume. My diet has already been modified.

Clean Water

I have to use a reverse osmosis system that adds minerals back in post filtration. Even more importantly is keeping the filters changed not just on time, but slightly early. If filters are not changed on time, contaminants and mineral deposits the body cant use are leeched back into your drinking water and will cause harm to your health.

For example: my current system is a single all in one filter system by Waterdrop. Filter life advertised as "1 year". Never go by this. Look at amount of gallons filtered instead. Mine is 950. The drain:waste ratio is 1:1. Means that for every gallon of water filtered for consumption; another gallon is drained as waste by the system. Therefore; I can only really expect to get 475 gallons of use from this filter. I use about 2.5 gal a day. 475 divided by 2.5gal per day = 190 days of use. That gives me roughly 6 months of filter life. I find when I get close to the 6 month mark, I begin to get nausea, dizziness, and gallbladder pangs and stabs as stones begin to form rapidly from my now unfiltered and contaminated water due to an overused filter.

My Remedy

  • is obviously first to change the filter, a bit early, (for me it's around 5 and a half month mark.)
  • I take 1/16 tsp of BHT (Butylated Hydroxy Toluene) as a 140 lb man, on an empty stomach, with 5-10 drops of magnesium chloride water (made using 1:1 water:magnesium chloride crystals)
  • I wash the above down with a tall glass of water (hydration itself dilates blood vessels and organ ducts to allow for more free flow)
  • I rub a dropper full of magnesium chloride water on my entire gallbladder and liver area
  • I sip on hot water or herbal tea (or sometimes coffee even) for 15 minutes, drinking tall gulps of regular water in between
  • Within about 15-30 minutes, my gallbladder's main bile duct begins to undulate and push stones through - felt as twitching and banding against my stomach skin.
  • I feel warmth as fresh bile begins to flow where the stone was blocking the ducts.
  • My nausea and dizziness disappear, and my appetite returns

If 1/16th tsp BHT doesn't do it, I take another 1/16th tsp and more magnesium as needed.

For my 70 lb dog, I give her the same remedy in a bit of milk if she has stones and her symptoms disappear within literally 5 minutes. She runs through my legs and appears to be having a seizure when she gets stones. We both got gallbladder problems a couple years after pesticide overuse inside our home. Every spring and fall we pass more stones but it gets easier each year.

The main underlying issue here was chemical poisoning causing organ damage. For this, we use sea kelp, cilantro, and magnesium drops altogether several times a week to continually detox. We mop-up with charcoal (1tsp with a few drops magnesium) once or twice a week, too.

So far we have survived. and thrived

I used to do castor oil packs (can get messy and time consuming) and make quart after quart of Chanca piedra tea. But this is all very time consuming and the chanca piedra tea is much more expensive to keep drinking than simply using less than a penny's worth of BHT and magnesium when attacks present.

Bear in mind that according to many systems of belief around health; and especially Ayurveda knowledge (4000+ year old school of medicine in India); every fall and spring the body goes through a natural but somewhat major detox. It's worse on those persons' bodies who have excessive toxins accumulated or do not care for their health actively. Gallstones appear to worsen during these times for individuals affected by them.

Chanca Piedra

I took Chanca Piedra for a gallstone issue I had. I have had some issues with my gallbladder for some time. Swedish Bitters (there's a non-alcoholic version) helped ease the pain, and if I had too much of something creamy (cheese, milk, yogurt) it would resolve it. But an ultrasound revealed a stone and the doctor said it wouldn't pass because it was too big.

I found also through research the Chanca Piedra. I bought a box of the tea off Amazon. I felt such relief quickly. I took it until the pain was gone, a few days. Then it started again. So I took it again until the pain was gone, a few days. I always stopped when the pain was gone. Within a month, it must have broken up and passed. I have not had pain or issues there since. I still have the original box with a few bags remaining, and I gave 2 bags to friends. The tea tastes nice too! ~ Lisa

Castor Oil Packs

I followed the SAD diet guide lines for most of my life. NO SALT, no fats. BOY did I live to regret it. FOR ME, I am one who loves drinking LOTS OF water. COME to find out, I was flushing out my sodium and electrolytes daily. TOOK ME years to figure that out.

Eating no to low fat diet, my gallbladder became very, very sluggish and wouldn't work properly. So in 2005 Dr recommend me schedule a gallbladder removal. Scan showed me having 6 stones. I know 6 stones back then was NOTHING!! THEY love to yank out body parts on a whim with out any trying to save it. BOTH MOM and sister got out theirs and never the same since, always having diarrhea. I didn't want that life.

Feeling I caught it in time, I did save my gallbladder with 2 weeks of hour nightly HEATED CASTOR OIL packs and months of weekly use to maintain. Changed my diet to more grass fed butter grass fed beef and beef fat, and LOWER CARBS no gluten, no sugars or potatoes, PERIOD.

Here is is 2022 and still have my gallbladder. I do have some issues few times a year, but I have found Im pretty sure its histamine issues, happens with aged foods or shellfish. I now eat GLUTEN FREE, sugar free (use keto sugars instead) Low oxalate food and low histamine food.

Older I got the worse I felt eating those foods. Yeah, I mess up few times a year, but only proves to me, I am doing the right thing other wise.

Epsom Salt
Posted by Ron (USA) on 12/13/2022 29 posts

Assuming the epsom salt has no additives like scents mixed in, or bath salts, I would personally be okay using it to make capsules from. I just used store bought. nothing fancy. be careful. I have had galstone issues a few years now, and theyre better. I usually only opt for epsom salt cleanses if im in real pain. because; well; it can be threacherous if not done correctly. Hulda clark for example; prepared her patients for a few weeks by having them drink herbal teas to prepare the kidneys and liver for the galbladder flush to come.

I personally drink BHUMIAMALAKI (phyllanthus amarus) 1/2 tsp at night before bed in a few ozs of hot water for a bitter tea. This is on recommendation from a certified ayurvedic practitioner I hired who studied in India. I had verified stones and polyps via ultrasound. After 1 year of dosing this medicine (and changing diet, and a few epsom salt cleanses), I shrank all my polyps be several millimeters and my pain is nill. I also passed many stones in my stool.

BHUMIAMALAKI can be AN ALLERGEN TO SOME> I became allergic after a year of use and had to switch to Chanca Piedra wildharvested herb to make stonebreaker tea daily.

Also on recommendation of my CAP, castor oil packs on the gal area (a tbsp on a paper towel, with a sandwhich bag taped over it to you skin using surgical tape)

If one insists on the epsom salt cleanse, this is how hulda clark recommends it:

https://drclarkstore.com/pages/liver-gallbladder-cleanse-instructions

If it were me, I would read the whole page, and follow the instructions very carefully, or I could cause the stones to get backed up in your bilial ducts, cause more pain, or other complications, and have to start over.

If you cannot take the apples, then use cloudy apple juice fresh in cartoons, and take a glass morning and night for two weeks before you do the actual cleanse. if you are in pain take a tablespoon of ACV with 8 ounces of Cloudy Apple juice sip slowly over 20 mins, and that will take away the pain. This worked for me.

Apples, Epsom Salt, Olive Oil, Lemon

Gallbladder flushing.

This curement with apple juice, epsom salts, olive oil and lemon really excellent curement, to save you from operation. However I suggest you find a practitioner who does this method, so to supervise this process. It is better not to attempt it alone.

Remember this information, since is of absolute importance. This I discovered it myself and then after some months I have read it also in another article. Probably someone else discovered it also, before I discovered have discovered it.

REMEMBER THIS INFORMATION, SINCE YOU WILL RARELY SEE THIS INFORMATION, IN ANY WEBSITE AND THIS INFORMATION CAN SAVE YOU FROM VERY SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES, IN CASE A STONE IS STUCKED IN THE GALLBLADER DUCT.

HERE IS THE INFORMATION:

THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN DURING THIS FLASHING, IS THAT A STONE CAN STUCK IN THE GALLBLADDER DUCT. YOU WILL FILL A DULL CONTINUOUS PAIN BELOW YOUR RIGHT RIB. IF THIS STONE IS NOT MOVED OUT, THEN IT CAN CAUSE ICTERUS, WHICH IS A VERY SERIOUS CONDITION.

THUS IN CASE A STONE IS BEING STUCKED IN GALLBLADDER DURING A CLEANSING, SIMPLY IN FEW HOURS AFTER THE CLEANSING (ABOUT 2 TO 3 HOURS AFTER THE CLEANSING), DRINK ONE TABLE SPOON OF EPSOM SALTS AND THEN ABOUT HALF AN HOUR AFTER YOU DRINK EPSOM SALTS DRINK ONCE MORE OLIVE OIL WITH LEMON MIXTURE (SAME QUANTITY AS YOU USED BEFORE, ABOUT 4/5 OF A GLASS WITH OLIVE OIL AND 1/5 OF A GLASS WITH LEMON).

THIS METHOD OF USING AGAIN IN SOME HOURS EPSOM SALTS, OLIVE OIL AND LEMON IS NOT KNOWN FROM MANY PRACTITIONERS IN CASE A STONE GETS STUCK DURING CLEANSING, THUS HAVE IT IN MIND SINCE IT CAN REMOVE STONES THAT MAY BE STUCK IN GALLBLADDER DURING CLEANSING. LEARN WELL THIS METHOD. IT CAN SAVE YOU FROM AN OPERATION.

Also in case you would like to avoid the olive Oil, Lemon, etc. protocol, whether you have small or large stones in the gallbladder, you can use directly Chanca Piedra capsules, without any Olive oil, Lemon etc. protocol.

Alfalfa

So grateful for Earth Clinic! I start each day with 16oz distilled water and 1 Tbsp lemon juice. I also take dandelion tea 1-2x, as well as bile salts, milk thistle, and ACV. But my gallbladder has continued to flare up at times. Today something felt off and I began wondering if a stone was stuck. So, researching today I learned of more herbal remedies: Collinsonia (aka stone root) and Peppermint leaf extract. Both of these help relax the bile ducts (very important), as well as reduce inflammation and promote the normal bile flow, which is an issue for those with gallstones. Slippery Elm too and the other herb was Alfalfa tablets. So I've made a good strong cup of peppermint tea (4 tea bags to 1 cp boiling water) as I have no extract yet, and will go out once feeling better and pick some up along with alfalfa tablets.

But again, I think keeping those bile ducts relaxed is very important to avoid a stone getting stuck which can be more concerning and problematic. Oh, and of course a 2-3 Tbsp ACV in a cup of warm apple juice. Also soothing can be one of those rice/corn microwave bags and place it over your gallbladder/liver. Now, I'm not having a full mind blowing attack of pain (I know this too well) but something wasn't right. Being prepared, I'm glad I bought the Collinsonia Root, great brand (initials SP)

I just want to thank everyone who posted here because it gave me the courage to try the natural route rather than have surgery.

I started having a strange pain on my right side that I basically ignored for months until one day after eating lunch and having an alcoholic beverage, within 20-30 minutes I had pain under my rib cage that was a little more alarming. I immediately related it to the food. I finally went to the doc, he sent me for an u/s and confirmed multiple stones, one being as big as 2cm. He then referred me to a surgeon which I never went to because I started researching all I could about gallstones. I'm a big believer in natural remedies and before going the surgical route I like to try other things. I wasn't completely against it just seemed so definitive and I don't do well with being told to do things without good reason. Anyway long story short I never got the surgery, I am eating like I used to and I no longer have pain. I should add after finding out I had stones the pain did get worst at night and I couldn't sleep well. So here's everything I did asap and nothing is in particular order. I just threw everything I could at this.

  • I stated drinking Chanca Piedra 1600mg 2 pills 2x's a day for up to 6 months.
  • I changed my diet immediately! No greasy food, no fried food, no sugar, no alcohol, no rice, etc. I instead ate lean meat with raw salad. My salad consisted of kale, radishes, carrots, cucumber, tomato, red/yellow pepper. Radishes are good for this so I made sure to always eat that.
  • I started drinking papaya juice and aloe juice mixed together with every meal. 1/2 cup of each 2-3's a day. I found this on this site, under pancreas ailments because I was also getting pain on the side of my pancreas so I wanted to fortify that. This also helps with digestion which your pancreas, liver and gallbladder all work together to do so I wanted to make digestion easy as possible.
  • I started drinking a lot of ginger/turmeric tea and I would add 1 tbsp ACV to it. ACV is great if you start having pain. It settles it.
  • I took a liver support supplement I found on amazon called Natures Craft Liver Support.
  • Okay and lastly I did about 4 liver flushes using the Andreas Moritz method. I could have done more but my pain finally went away after the 4th one and I got lazy.

I should add that though I ate so many apples and apple juice before the flushes, and I would get temporary relief it wasn't until I used Malic Acid (500mg, 3x's a day=1500mg for 6 days before flush) instead for the 4th flush that one *large* stone came out and after that the pain finally was all gone.

Its been more than a year and I still have my gallbladder, no pain, I sleep well, and I am able to enjoy some of the yummy things I used to like doughnuts, chips, fried foods, alcohol. I do this in moderation now but before I couldn't eat any at all or I'd have pain. I still eat my salads consistently and occasionally take some Chanca Piedra. I continue to eat as healthy as possible.

I hope this helps you to not give up!

More than a decade ago, I was on this very same site, looking for a health remedy for my father who was suffering from gallstones (due for an operation) and a number of other ailments like diabetes and heart issues. A man posted about the apple cider vinegar cleanse and I emailed him about it to ask more. He saved my father's life. We devoted a few months to his cleansing, and he avoided the gallstone surgery. His sugar levels returned to normal and he looked 10 years younger. I don't know if that man checks this site still, but to him, and to the moderators and the admin of this website, thank you. Because of you all, my father is still alive 15 years later.

Lemonade and Olive Oil for Gallstones

I may have already reported but haven't had any trouble since discovering remedies on EC.

I just drink lemonade in summer - and occasionally at other times of the year - and take a couple of swigs of olive oil from time to time. Seems to keep things cleared out. The lemon juice breaks down the "glue" that holds the crystals together as well as that which keeps crystals attached to the walls of the gall bladder and the olive oil just seems to grease the way on their way out.

Someone pointed out that the olive oil doesn't travel the urinary tract, which is probably true, but I suspect it is distributed through the walls and membranes, rather than the kidney/bladder path one ordinarily associates with the urinary tract if for no other reason than that it works and passing stones that should hurt like the dickens on their way through don't hurt at all, nor create blockages.

As it takes time for the crystals to grow, once formed, I suspect olive oil alone, in passing through the membranes, may actually do both jobs, detaching the crystals from the walls of the gall bladder when they're just small AND flushing them out but I like lemonade so I drink it anyway :)

Hi,

Can you please share the detailed instructions about how exactly you did this ACV protocol? Did you drink like 333ml (1/3rd of a quart) per day for 3 days? Did you dilute the ACV with anything? Did you divide in smaller doses? Did you eat/drink anything else beside the ACV during those 3 days?

Please could you please detail your protocol exactly, I really want to try it... What does vitamin D have to do with gallstone prevention? Thank you.

Chanca Piedra
Posted by Allison (Houston) on 07/10/2020

This is for those with low blood pressure who would like to take chanca piedra: take 1 mg of licorice root with some warm water that has 1/2 to 1 tsp sea or Himalayan salt added. If planning to take the chanca piedra herb for length of period, please monitor blood pressure regularly to look for hypertension as licorice root will increase body salt retention. Adjust as neccessary.

Just an update. I have changed up things a bit over the past two years and ox bile has really helped. I believe it helps with sludge. I take a 5000 iu with fattier meals and a 1000 with less fatty meals. Taking without fat will give you diarrhea. I still take C and occasionally use chanca piedra as a cleanout. I was taking the AF supplement but this works better. If I feel pain I take more, less when I don't. I can eat regular meals again, dessert etc. But I try to eat healthy with good fats. Someone did a study that I can't find, showing highest percentages of food causing attacks, I believe they were eggs, pork and full fat dairy. Fried foods are bad as well. I know, eggs, pork, butter, cheese and fried foods are the worst for me, I rarely ever eat eggs now. I can eat butter and cheese now with the bile supplement. Hope that helps someone, wish I knew about ox bile 10 years ago.

Of course gallstones would melt if heat was applied. Most "stones" are not made from mineral, they are chunks or balls of cholesterol. Cholesterol is wax. Wax melts when heated. However, I myself did pass a handful of these things and there was a sort of tough grayish-white possibly mineral skin around them. How would a flush cause THAT?

The following statement is from the Mayo Clinic:

"The most common type of gallstone, called a cholesterol gallstone, often appears yellow in color. These gallstones are composed mainly of undissolved cholesterol, but may contain other components. Pigment gallstones. These dark brown or black stones form when your bile contains too much bilirubin."

Those things you see "stones" that are floating are not gallstones. That is the olive oil that has solidified. Gallstones will only sink. So be sure, okay! I'm dealing with this problem now. So I understand what you're going through.

Sometimes if I use a pack during the day I will just leave it in place and go about my normal activities without the heat. But the heat really helps.

Recently I had an episode of bad heartburn, which, for me means I must need to do a gallbladder flush. (I used to have chronic heartburn/reflux which stopped completely after I completed a round of gallbladder flushes. Now I do them a few times a year as indicated by a return of heartburn.

I picked Wednesday of this past week to do the flush, but realized I didn't have a grapefruit in the house. Once I did lemon juice and olive oil for the flush but thought it tasted awful and not nearly as easy to get down as the grapefruit juice and olive oil.

I did have pineapple juice in the house and decided I would try that. I keep tweaking my gallbladder flush procedure to make it as tolerable as possible.

I think juices only on the day of the fast are ideal, but I needed more energy to function so I did have cream of wheat with blueberries for breakfast and a home-made non-fat pita for lunch. I drank carrot juice and pineapple juice.

I used the Epsom salt water at 7 and 9 pm.

At 11 pm I used 1/3 cup olive oil and 1/3 cup pineapple juice. VERY easy to get down and not bad tasting at all.

I used a castor oil pack over the liver overnight during the flush since that seemed to help a lot one other time.

Thursday I used Natural Calm to keep the flush going instead of Epsom salt. Epsom salt in the morning is nearly intolerable to me.

I had a very successful flush and got out a lot of stones. Seemed like more than a gallbladder's worth, so maybe some came from the liver?

Conclusions: Pineapple juice did not hinder and may have benefited the flush.

Castor oil packs overnight on the night of the flush do seem to benefit. Plus I sleep great with a castor oil pack. I didn't wake up until 5:30 in the morning. No discomfort.

JoJo, thank you so much for your post in 2015! I was diagnosed with gallstones over 2 years ago. The gallbladder attacks got more frequent and unbearable. Doctors wanted to remove my gallbladder. I refused. I tried a variety of remedies including baking soda and raw Apple cider vinegar for the attacks which did help sometimes. I didn't do any kind of gallbladder flushes. Then I read your post and decided to try the Alfalfa pills. As soon as I felt a gallbladder attack coming on, I took 1-2 Alfalfa pills and every single time I took the pills, it worked! The attack always stopped in it's tracks! Since then, I also discovered a supplement which claim to dissolve stones. Took those as per instructions and only used Alfalfa if I felt a gallstone attack coming on. I haven't had an attack in well over 1 year. Not sure if I even have stones anymore but I haven't had that confirmed yet. I will share the Alfalfa benefits in this site as well. Thanks again!

Thank you so much, I am going to look into this. I didn't even know I had stones until it happened that I ate lots of chayote leaves (in juices, smoothies and soups as my plant grows fast and they taste nice) and had one fall out. I started looking at my stools and sure enough passed more. Waxy, but pretty hard consistency. No pain at all. I think I also ate lots of apples and I like to drink water with whole quartered lemon (skin, and all)in it. I eat the lemon too. That week it happened, that I ate more of all of them. Anyway, stones were quite large - an inch of so long. I am looking now into herbal program, that I can do to flush them all. Chanca Piedra is one, and I am going to add Gravel root.

On April 23,2017 I first went to the Emergency Room with significant pain in my upper back about at the level of my shoulder blades. The initial diagnosis was a bladder infection that later proved to be incorrect. I spent the next week in bed taking pain killers which exceeded the dosage I was used to taking and only lasted barely 3 hours before the pain resumed. The following Sunday, April 30th I again went to the Emergency Room and had 2 MRIs and an untrasound. The diagnosis was gall stones. The stones were not blocking any tubes so emergency surgery was not necessary.

I went to my primary care doctor the following Tuesday with the diagnosis. The recommended treatment plan was surgery. A good friend referred me to Earthclinic.com where I familiarized myself with the recommendations for non-surgical alternatives.I started immediately with Stone Breaker capsules 3 times a day. I drank copious amounts of organic, unfiltered apple juice. I also took unfiltered apple cider vinegar and then switched to apple cider vinegar pills also 3 times a day. Within a few days I had no more pain. I did the flush recommended on Earthclinic and other sites twice one month apart. Apart from a good cleansing, I noticed no 'stones' being eliminated. By the end of May, I was taking the Stone Breaker caps and apple cider vinegar pills twice a day. I had added Chanca Piedra extract along with essential oils of cinnamon, ginger, and clove in juice once a day.Last Tuesday October 10th, I had a CT scan of the abdomen for another reason. The results came back with no issues with the liver, pancreas, spleen or other abdominal organs. No mention was made of any kind regarding gall stones.

Therefore I am a believer. Happy to have my gall bladder intact and happy to be living pain free with no significant change in diet.

Beets and Lemon Oil is what many people have told me. Standard Process has a supp for Gallbladder and it contains beets! Also, I am told Sauerkraut juice. I am also taking B6 of 100mg and Magnesium Citrate, I think 400mg or so. I also have cut out almost ALL oils except Avocado Oil which bypasses the Gallbladder. Apple Juice/Apple cider is supposed to be good also. I was told today that the big Olive Oil and Lemon Juice flush doesn't really work. I respect this chiro doc as he is very informed. Mostly, need to support the Liver. The gallbladder doesn't make the stones, the Liver does.

Gallstones are caused by your liver. Attend to your liver.

Hi there,

I had several smaller size stones 1mm-2mm from memory. I suggest for bigger stones to extend the cleanse to 3 or 4 days perhaps. After 5 years I'm happy to report I have not had a recurrence of gallstones.

It is challenging to eat only apples but the results are worth it. As the old saying goes - an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

I also changed to a healthy diet (Namely the Eat Right 4 Your Type - Blood Type Diet), regular exercise and meditation in the last 5 years, taking a holistic approach to my health and well-being.

Health and happiness to you all :)

Thanks fmg and Mama and Tim for your kind responses and anyone else I missed.

Thanks for the info.. I will look into the bio identical hormones..

I do exercise as much as I can...sleeping is on and off and I do tai chi and meditate for stress but yes I do have stress..

Bee, too much estrogen can cause gallstones, bioidentical hormones. Increasing fiber removes excess estrogen as well as increasing progesterone. Exercise keeps things flowing to prevent the stagnation that causes the stones. Reduce stress - major difference, better sleep reduces stress, lack of sleep causes stones, too.

The herbal combination of Milk Thistle/Turmeric/Artichoke is best, but for Liver/Gall, Artichoke alone is the best of the three. Dr Christopher's "Liver/Gallbladder" formula is excellent.

One of the side effects of low protein diet is the weak liver, so many vegetarians or vegans take Raw Bovine or Calf Liver Tablets. They are sold in most health food stores and have long been a favorite in those seeking strength or longevity as they are one of the superfoods. You must also consider the amino acid Ornithine; it helps me so much in the liver dept. Dr Balk says it is very important for metabolizing lipids in the liver.

A supplement of Choline/Inositol would also help.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for the recommendations.. I am eating a lot of raw foods and its helping so I cant do chicken livers.. I am trying to always detox and it helps but it seems to be taking awhile or my body keeps making the stones.. the pain is almost gone now but I do feel stones at times.

I will do the MT as I am already doing the turmeric.. then I read turmeric causes stones. so much confusion.I will try the cough drops.. sounds easy enough.

Next I will work on the liver.. as far as fungus not sure since I eat organic raw fruits and veggies.. but I will def. check into it.

Thank you so much

Bee: I once had the same problem and mostly resolved by taking Milk Thistle Seed. MTS is best taken with Turmeric Root and Artichoke Leaf.

Consider some Liver building nutrition like Raw or Cooked Chicken or Calf Liver. If you haven't any Mycoplasma infection, take an amino acid supplement of Arginine/Ornithine/Lysine. Since I got the myco I must drop the Arginine but don't function well at all without the Ornithine & Lysine. My Liver function goes flat without the formentioned.

Menthol Cough Drops, which also contain Eucalyptus, are my regular remedy for melting gallstones but if they get too many or too large the flush will be needed.

Not only mycoplasma but fungal infections in general cause increases in LDL Cholesterol and Gallstones so be sure to eliminate these pathogens as much as possible.

Yes, your body keeps making stones. Most people have thousands of stones stored in the liver. The problems come when they are a little larger than the ducts they have to pass through, that's when the gall bladder/liver pain comes and GB/liver flushes are needed. Many people go through the life with no issues at all because the stones are small enough that they can pass through unnoticed. So keep going. I find for myself maintence cleanses are needed every other month in order to have normal liver/GB function.

Dear Bee,

I will be interested to hear any other replies! Do you expel the stones during a gall bladder flush or are yours just passing with the Apple Cider Vinegar and Chanca piedra?

I used Apple Cider Vinegar daily for years for my digestion but they never got stones out.

I got many stones over the course of a few months during flushes. Now whenever I have a slight gall bladder twinge, I schedule another flush (about every 6 months.) Recently I was surprised to see a couple of the larger type stones. I too wondered, are these newly formed or old? I think I have read that once you empty the gall bladder of stones, stones from the liver can travel in to the gall bladder. Maybe it takes a while to get all of them from the liver and the gall bladder? But I have also wondered if I am just still making stones.

Hello my fellow suffers, I was experience pain at the same time night every few weeks a dull ache and pain nausea and low fever that lasted several hours but in the morning nothing like it was a bad dream. when to the doc who couldn't work out what it was after seeing 3 different ones who kept saying it as acid and prescribed me proton pump inhibitors which reduce acid and bile production, which I never took as I told them I did not suffer from indigestion or acid reflux, im not overweight generally eat healthy and exercise regularly male mid 40 so may be they didn't suspect anything? Then 3 months later had a gallstone attack freighting experience I thought I was going to meet my creator went to A&E did all the usual checks next day felt better so was being discharged when a senior indian nurse said do you have gallstones? didn't know anything about them so did research on line and as soon as read the symptom's BANG in knew it was gallstones, Doc arrange a scan which confirmed I had one 11mm stone and several others. Since the attack taking the apple cider vinegar apple juice and lemon milk thistle turmeric with a bit more healthy fresh fruit and veg no pain at night and 1 or 2 small attack's months apart felling 90% better and a lot fitter but have a slight soreness on my right side and gallbladder that wont completely go away, no matter what I take. After the docs found out they where gallstones they effectively would not offer me any treatment or medication other than removal of the gallbladder which im trying my very best to avoid, iv had a discussion with a particular doc twice and he says gallbladder is not needed and its a great operation to remove it and they will just keep coming back I keep saying to him why would I have this organ if was never needed in the first place? So I was getting a despondent with the situation of constant soreness and interment low pain after 5 months of ACV and lemon grapefruit ect the gallstones where still there presumable as docs wont do a second scan said the soreness is due to gallstone inflamtion I have NOT tried a the lemon and olive oil flush as it doesn't make sense to me as people have reported passing hundreds of stones some 1 to 3 inches in there stools how when the cystic duct is only 5 to 9 mm in diameter on average? Then I took CHANCA PIEDRA non alcoholic Tincture they recommend 5 to 10 drops twice a day in warm water I took 2 drops to test it, that night had a gallstone attack not a bad one but I passed a stone which I felt, I increased the dosage gradually increased to 5/7 drops over the next few days and when sleeping at night on my back felt what could only described as a train of stones or sludge moving down the cystic duct I am still passing them every now and again but the soreness hasten completely gone but do feel better. The CHANCA PIEDRA TEA is better for kidney stones and has the effect of lowering you blood pressure more than the Tincture dose.

Conclusion CHANCA PIEDRA REALY WORKS, however I would cleanse your body for at least a month before you take it. No alcohol which is probably the biggest cause of gallstones plenty of AVC lemon apple ect as you need to be in a position where your gallbladder and internals are healthy and can take the stones passing. Chanca Piedra works by increasing your bile flow and opening your ducts nobody really knows how it works it just dose God knows best, I don't know how many stones I've passed until I have a scan which I'm working on as the doc won't do it and is waiting for me with a scalpel in his hand so will update you. Be Gentle and Patient with your body it takes years sometimes to form gallstones so I can take time to heal Good Luck.

MSM

I am well acquainted with gallstones and the flush. I have one comment on " eating cleanly" as referenced above. Low fat diets and fasting, skipping meals are causes of gallstones. The gallbladders main job is to emulsify fats. A normal happy gallbladder squirts out a quart a day if bile. If it doesn't get the chance to do that, it concentrates and forms stones.

I learned over multiple times of the flush that something in my physiology was forming them faster and the flush was pretty exhausting. Finally I tried MSM after listening to a Mercola interview with Dr Stephanie Seneff on sulfur. That was the one nutrient I hadn't been sure to get. MSM combined with TMG ( a glyphosate detox nutrient made from beets) pretty much cured my gallstones and chronic 13 year diarrhea ( which originated from retaking childhood vaccines to get into nursing school, expensive mistake). I do have to be careful to stay on those as otherwise they come back quickly. I have also helped two people with gallstones, my husband one of them, and MSM worked within an hour.

Also, I had learned coffee is a gall bladder stimulator, and pops stones out 75% of the time and cumin is also a gallbladder stimulator. That's what I looked for, things that would cause it to squeeze. Not making it squeeze out ( low fat diets) will just leave old bile to concentrate.

What size of stone did you flush? Do I need to care what size of stone it is inside? What did you feel during the 2nd night? Did you go to toilet too often? Did you take any epsom salt? Many Thanks.

Actually they are false, flushes do not work. A lady went in to hospital and had her 'stones' checked when she carried on having pain and they melted when heat was applied. Flushes are dangerous and left many in emergency surgery.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Posted by Prioris (Fl) on 12/18/2016

Editor's Choice

IMPORTANT

I just want every one to know that it is the malic acid in Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) that softens gallstones.

One source says, it takes 1 apple to make 1 ounce of ACV or 2 tablespoons. One apple has 0.08875 grams or 88.75 mg of malic acid in it from what I understand.

Another source says there is 200 mg to 1000 mg per apple.

Another source says - The amount of malic acid in two apples is about 3 grams which is the recommended daily dose. If you are eating one apple then you will need to 2 and a half 600 mg tablets. Each pill needs to be taken with a cup a water.

So an apple may range from 88 mg to 1500 mg but this allows you to ball park therapy doses.

I see on the bottle of malic acid that I have that 1 tablet contains 600 mg. You'd also avoid that acid damaging your teeth.

Another piece of info - Apples have a combination effect because they also contain pectin which is an water-soluble fibre. This binds to bile and we pass in out in our stools. Therefore if we can consume more pectin then more bile will be passed and this forces the liver to produce more fresh bile which washes through the biliary system.

This means that it may be easier to take malic acid instead.

I can take malic acid without problem but I get side effect like migraines / neuralgia etc if I take ACV.

I've tried gallbladder flushing before and yes it was effective. now I've discovered something easier, faster & cheaper. take one glass of hot water with 1 spoon of calamansi (small citrus fruit) which is abundant in my country or lemon, whatever is available in your country before going to sleep. the following day you will pass it melted. You will see it semi-liquid and dark green in color. Do it once or every other week. Keep healthy everyone :)

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AND LAVENDER OIL

I have to say I was having the worst gallbladder/gallstone attack and came to earthclinic.com for help. I read that ACV and also Lavender oil helped this. I was desperate and reached over to my lavender essential oil and put one drop on my forefinger and stuck it in my mouth. Within 5 minutes my pain had subsided greatly.

I then put 2 cap-fulls of ACV into a drink. Within 10 minutes I felt 95% better!!

I have looked into research about ACV helping dissolve gallstones, so far I'm only 1.5 days in after a month-long battle. I have had oily/fatty foods without a problem!! I can't believe it is working, but I am going to stick to two cap-fulls of ACV twice a day in my drink in hopes to get rid of these gallstones I have. I've taken 3 doses of 2 cap-fulls for the past two days and have no pain! It is a miracle!

I am also now administering it topically to my boyfriend's unknown rash. I just put the first treatment on him and will update in the appropriate thread.

Thank you so much earthclinic!

Angie... (Gallstones)

No, I never had an ultrasound for gallstones.. I try and stay away from western medicine. I did have really bad pain exactly where the gallbladder is.. I checked a dozen sites about it.. plus since I expelled them they looked exactly like stones so I am assuming they are stones lol.. some were huge.. anyway; what I did was put half glass of apple juice in a glass and then two tablespoons of apple cidar vinegar. braggs organic and I drank it.. maybe once a day..then I drank a few glasses of chanca piedra tea (stone breaker tea) but not every day.. maybe every two days.. well I noticed that the stones were coming out in the toilet with a BM.. as time went on and it was a few months the pain subsided more and more.. I didn't do the whole flush because I was afraid so this is what I did. it takes longer but its so worth it.. sometimes I also drink lemons in water...sometimes I never even measured that apple juice . I just do things by intuiton.

B: If you have a chronic gallstone case, then it is most likely you also have liver disease. An herbal combination of Milk thistle/Dandelion/Artichoke will provide the antioxidant protection plus increased bile flow.

It would be wise to have some diagnostics done by a pysician as Hepeaitus is also likely.
