Hey there Faith from Pdx,
Yeah, the "smoking gun" theory nails a lot of medical issues that track back to infection by virus/fungus.
Folks rarely put together an infection (even though usually bad...like mono or strep) and a condition six months later. The underlying culprit is the virus or fungus or both...a co-infection.
That's why I'm such an advocate for colloidal silver... or anything that used consistently might kill the invader. I won't turn my nose up at MMS or Iodine or ACV or the various "oils" that are virus/ fungus killers. The problem is most folks don't keep up the regimen long enough to finish off the infection.
And I'm an example!
I've mentioned a few times on EC how a Live Cell Microscopy analysis found fungus greater than the norm in my system. I had to increase my own CS dose to three times daily on empty stomach to kill the fungus. I had been taking a few tablespoons four or five times weekly...not enough to kill the fungus.
But I suspected the "smoking gun" so that is why I had myself tested.

I think the "smoking gun " theory may be right on.. heart issues may be from infections, viruses, parasites, and vitamin defieciecies can cause heart palpitations. I've been reading about is EMS electo-magnetic sensitivity that is the body is reactiong to WiFI. cell phones, lab tops microwaves and smart meters I think it is best to have land line for all electronic devices. I had a hidden dental infection a root canal extraction site infected the jaw bone. I had cavitation surgery as you know dental infections usually go for the heart. I also wondered if your taking coconut oil. It must be organic virgin coconut oil that is from fresh coconut because the it is harvested from dried coconut there is mycotoxins in it and it can also be in coffee peanuts, this is very allergic causing substance so be sure you trying the right kind.

Hi there David,
With symptoms that combine:
1. Definite Infection and
2. A Fib...
If this were me I know I had a magnesium deficiency AND the virus has attacked the cardio, usually the heart.
The combo requires...Colloidal Silver (three tablespoons daily on empty stomach away from mineral intake) for at least a month AND
Magnesium supplements. If you have Epsom salts, you can take ES baths three times weekly for a super infusion possibly more comprehensive than just oral supplement.
But with a problem like yours, I'd both take the baths and supplement with 500 mg daily.
Usually A Fib can be eradicated with just mag...but if there's a virus lurking, then the condition is much worse than irregular heart beat or fast beat. The TWO conditions (virus plus deficient mag) make for a potential disaster.
As usual my standard disclaimer .... I'm not diagnosing or treating or advising...I am saying what I would do if this were happening to me.

Hi, really interested in your comments about a 'smoking gun'. I had a severe throat infection over Xmas ( possible glandular fever ) and never been the same since. My heart palpitations started about 3 weeks or so after the infection and have gradually worsened to the point of being hospitalised in Mar and diagnosed with Proxysmal Atrial Fibrilation. I have visited the cardiologist on several occasions and have had numerous ECG's, echocardiogram, bloods, etc all of which come back clear. I am at a loss to what to do next and it is really starting to effect my quality of life. Any guidance / help yo. Are able to give would be very much appreciated.

I have been fighting skips for 4 decades, , , Magnesium powder eliminates them, however I have compromised kidneys and the amount I need to take gives me diarrhea which drains my electrolytes and make everything worse. What a dilemma. Dehydration makes everything much worse and few people take in enough water. Medical doctors know very little about my problem and it seems like we could use a real pro to help our plight. Oh to have Ted from Bangkok back again

Hi Mmsg--I'm the one you wanted to keep posting "piecemeal" but haven't been on here much. I get discouraged when I know what I have learned but it is not always received well. I see so many remedies for "cures" instead of making attempts to just eliminate the cause.
ABOUT THE APPLES: When you pick up the apple the wax transfers to your fingers and as you peel, the knife transfers the wax along with your fingers to the apple. Then you ingest it. The same goes for oranges and grapefruits. You cannot wash the wax off. However, I saw a post on here, I think, that gave a ratio of vinegar and water that would remove the wax after soaking for a short time.
It's not worth the trouble for me to do that. One time I had gotten some good ol' Ivory Liquid that was reported to be digestible (original formula) and scrubbed the grapefruit skin but I just don't want to do that. I learned about the wax from Jack Samuels. I sometimes get apples and scrub them but I also cook them before I eat them. Eating the skin is still important.
Because our fruits and vegetables have been genetically modified in one way or another, raw is no longer safe. I get the canned water/juice packed apricots and peaches for my fruit. They have been blanched and are easier to digest. Sometimes if they seem too firm I cook them a little more. I don't think I can give the brand name of applesauce I purchase but it is the only one in a glass jar and has "Natural Plus" on the label. I get the concentrated "country style" orange juice because it has the pulp. I cook all vegetables until tender.
Mmsg, I hope I didn't unload too much on ya!

Hi, Magnesium Taurate is preferable form of Magnesium for heart palpitation according to the "Magnesium Miracle" book. I have read several testimonials about how it helps, if you'd google Magnesium and palpitations there's plenty of info ..
Sea salt has some Magnesium as well but not enough to get the palpitations completely under control .. and you can only take so much sea salt safely without getting over board..

Hello David from Corsicana, Tx
Re your heart palpations...
When did the problem begin?...You mention a number of problems that might be associated...dizzy, nervous, sleepy and tired.
I'm always suspecting a virus lurking around causing all kinds of problems. And David, especially, I look for a TIME prior to the onset of the symptoms when one might have fought off a really bad infection like mono or strep etc.
Just checking...think back to the onset; did you have a bad infection prior to symptoms...think back six months to a year or so...a really bad infection like I named above. If so, then we need to discuss how to get rid of the probable causative agent...an infection of some kind. Now just because you can't recall one doesn't necessarily mean that no infection is involved but so often I discover a "smoking gun" in the form of a bad infection. Post again if you suspect a possible lingering infection, and I'd describe what I do to knock out such infections.
Hoping you get better...keep searching because there IS a solution!!!

Dear Lars,
You're correct that "propoxyphene" which was branded as Darvoset and Darvon, were found to effect the electrical action of the heart. In fact, you can still seek compensation for damages. Google, "Darvon darvoset lawyers" and you can find firms that will give free case evaluations.
If this were me, I certainly proceed cautiously but read the article on AEP (google: nutrition review calcium AEP...and you'll find an article that discusses how AEP works on the cellular level to HELP the electrical action). Maybe the AEP could help with the palpation damage done by the Darvoset.
Also I have found that without sufficient "magnesium" in the system one is almost certainly going to have heart issues. I take a lot of natural vitamin E (not the synthetic form); potassium and magnesium; calcium AEP and arginine daily. Those just for the cardio system.
I also might try getting magnesium in the system by taking a few Epsom salts baths two or three times weekly for a month. Two cups of Epsom salts dissolved in warm water and then added to a warm bath and soak for twenty minutes. The magnesium sulfate with absorb into the system and is reported widely to help calm and rejuvenate. Especially helpful in "a fib" issues.
Because papaya is such a system calmer, I'd also try a few tablespoons of that daily.

So what I have found to work for me is acupressure .. check utube for the points to press for stopping palpitations..Also the most unbelievable thing someone told me is that sea salt in a huge glass of water stops palpitations..and it does for me.. I'm 65 years old and have had palpitations since I was 16. I heard that the condition was caused by the Darvon or Darvoset pain med that I was given after surgery when I was 16. It has been taken off the market for that very reason. I have recently found that eating a Red Delicious apple gives me immediate palpitations, and would like to know why. I have them a lot when I get tired or exhausted. I have never had a doctor believe me when I complain about palpitations. They just treat me like I'm crazy or a hypochondriac. My doc now has me on Bisoprolol-HCTZ (a beta blocker) that sometimes relieves the palps but now when I miss a dose the palps go wild. I haven't found any natural remedy that has worked but am willing to try the recipes that you all have advised.

Sandy, your problem is most likely MSG poisoning. I had the same symptoms as you.your heart is beating irregularly, skipping beats, heart pounding, getting little sleep. Waking up with a panic attack. Things going completely out of control. Check the website msgtruth.org and many others, do a Google search, msg poisoning. It?s in almost every processed food. And hidden under ingredients on the label you will spices, natural foods, soy, enzymes and anything hydrolized. Keep a food log of everything, time you eat and record when you are having an episode. Keep in mind that all the food additives have at least 20 to 80% msg. The FDA lets the food processors hide this poison in the ingredients I have listed. You eliminate all processed foods and within 2 days your symptoms will disappear. If you accidentally get poisoned by msg dilute 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tater in 8 oz of water. Also drink 4 to 6 16oz of water to flush this poison out. Restaurants are to be avoid until you know what foods are most natural. Lot and lots of home cooking.
My name is Bob I am 59, married and my wife is a great cook. I've had these symptoms for 30 years and have wasted thousands of dollars on BS treatments from doctors. Holtergrams, cat scans, heart specialists. Now I am living symptoms free.

My first fish which was breaded and was crab must have had something on it like a sauce I never had before. Not sure what it was as it was in a restaurant.
The second shellfish was some raw shrimp which was plain and nothing on it but I have no idea where it came from.. It was only four so I assumed it was okay but from now on going to stay away from shellfish. Thank You.

This post needs to follow my post about the "magnesiun CITRATE" because it was correcting Beberobozo's misunderstanding about my post, thinking I was referring to "magnesium".
Magnesium is an essential mineral. "Citrate" is more than likely manufactured from corn. MSG can be created as a consequence of manufacture. Citrate is such a product. It seems like double trouble when using GMO's to "manufacture" the binders, fillers and capsules. As far as the magnesium oil, I don't know anything about that. I had been advised that any "extract" can be a hidden source of MSG because in the extraction process MSG is created. Oil is an extract.
Was your shellfish breaded or did you use a sauce that is not used on other food? I would have bouts of hay fever even as an adult until I learned what I was eating was breaking down my ability to tolerate different foods so I have a different opinion about all these "food allergies". There are so many variables.
In addition, there is a substance manufactured called mycoprotein that is fake meat/fish. It has been textured to resemble meat and is sliced, diced or shredded and used in restaurants.
By the process of elimination over the last twenty-plus years I have learned so much about how our food supply has been making us sick and the medical profession seems to be focusing on finding cures and/or quick fixes instead of acknowledging and eliminating the cause. The genetically modified food is harder to digest and even the "organic" produce is no longer safe. Not sure about this but the fungus in that soil may even be similar to the fungus used to produce the mycoprotein. I don't think anyone has full knowledge of what has happened to our food supply.

Hidden sources of MSG can be anything processed from corn (citric acid or citrate). I had very scary palpitations, referred to cardiologist, diagnosed with PVC (premature ventricular contractions) but found out it was caused by the magnesium CITRATE I was taking. Stopped taking the citrate formula and went back to regular magnesium and the palpitations went away. I still drink coffee with no problem and if it had not been for the kindness and friendship of the managers of the truthinlabeling campaign, I would have never known. It has been over a twenty year piecemeal learning endeavor that has saved my life. You have to read labels and, in addition, pay attention to the binders and fillers in any vitamins and/or supplements.

It is important to consume your vitamins from food sources. It is russian roulette while taking vitamin supplements, because there could be additional/unwanted fillers, etc. In them. Soy (in vitamin supps) is believed to be a hormone disruptor, and can be one of the culprits towards heart palpitations. Of course, there are other culprits which can affect the heart; environmental, genetic, medicinal, psychological, dietary, etc....
It is also important to check the water in your home. If you are using a water filter/purifier, I suggest having the water tested for minerals.
My body responds negatively (or so it seems) to apple cider vinegar, coconut, cruciferous vegetables (esp, but not solely, raw).... I believe in the blood type diet, but am finding it difficult to strictly adhere to the diet.
It is also important to have your blood checked for minerals, vitamins, arsenic, mercury, lead, etc..

Marie, have you tried going wheat and gluten free. Research reviews for the book Wheat Belly or look on youtube. Many people have reversed blood pressure after eliminating wheat and gluten.
The herb book I have by Isabell Shipard (wonderful book-google it) says that in controlled medical studies Hawthorn Berry was able to dilate the arterties and bring down blood pressure. It will also stop palpitations. It is one of the best herbs known from antiquity for the heart. High blood pressure is treatable. You just need to be under a Doctors supervision. Doctors don't want you to get off the medication as it is a lifelong money spinner.
Many people have been able to get of HBP medications by taking herbs.. Google it. You are responsible for your own health.

I was getting heart palpitations as well. Rather than take supplements (which may have nasty additives in them) you are better off seeking out natural herbs.
I started taking dried hawthorn berry in a tea form (mixed with other dried teas) and the problem has gone and not returned. Hawthorn Berry or leave is an old renowned remedy for heart problems.
Lemon Balm is also a great herb to take for heart palpitations (grow it fresh rather than buying it).

If the palpitations are due to MSG being eaten... (easy to do, that poison is in almost everything) then take 1,000 mg taurine. Taurine competes with the MSG and helps to clear it from the system.
Also, sometimes palpitations can be caused by being dehydrated, so a good amount of water can help.
I agree with what others have said re magnesium also.... take 400 mg a day of a good mag supplement.
Alkalize, read about it here on EC.
Last, but not least.... Look at electrolyte imbalance. I would eat potassium rich foods, and use a good pink hymalayan (spelled that incorrectly, I am sure! ) sea salt. Lots of minerals in a quality sea salt.
Good luck.... Heart palpitations are scary.... I know.

If you haven't already, please read people's stories on the Heart Palpitations page:
https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/heart_palpitations.html
Sometimes something very simple helps.
Caffeine and MSG are very common triggers. MSG is hidden in so many things - you need to look up "Hidden Sources of MSG" to be able to avoid it.
Blackstrap Molasses has helped people with palpitations and other arrythmias. You can take 1 Tablespoon morning and evening. I think the magnesium in it is what helps. Some people just use magnesium supplements.
Cayenne Pepper, Hawthorne Berry Powder, and Ginger are all excellent herbs for the heart. If my husband has some caffeine and then his heart starts acting up, he takes these herbs and it helps. You can take them daily.
It is encouraging that the doctors have not found a problem, but frustrating not to have a solution yet. I hope you find relief soon. Please be sure to let us know what works for you.

Hi Coconut oil is a big no no if you have Thyroid problems, it will do you more harm than good :-( I have been researching about this, and Cayenne Pepper seems a good one to try :-) Take it in warm water so your body is aware of the heat factor if you have not used it before. Take half a level teaspoon AM and PM, if you get palpitations inbetween, do the same again. There is not really a set limit to how many times you take it, and it may burn initially, warm heat not tissues burn, but it passes quickly, milk or yougurt will take the burn away if you really must use some thing. Water will not, but it will go on its own, I use this myself as I suffer terrible palpitation's and chest pain's to the point it feels like a heart attack. I use fresh Cayenne Chilli Peppers, but Powdered Cayenne pepper if I run out of fresh, with the freah pods, I use a pod split length ways in half, with seed's removed as your not suppose to eat the seeds, then I put it in a cup of boiled Distilled, or bottled spring water. I let it stand for 3 to 4 minutes so it infuses and the water is not to hot to drink, then neck it back, I lurve the stuff Masochist that I am!! Hahahha! Actually, I've used it for so long now I drink it like regular Herbal Tea although it's a spice, any way, with the powder just use warm water or par boiled not boiling, stir and drink it. It is also a life saver in the event of a Heart Attack, throw a few heaped tea spoons in water, it does not have to be warm in an emergency such as this and drink, this can be used this way for any one, it also heal's heart tissue's and promotes Heart tissue growth. I would put a heaped table spoon in if I were having an attack, and tap water would have to do if there was no other available or time to mess about. It also thins your blood out better than Warfrin, so don't use it if you are on blood thinners, but, and I am not saying 'do it', but I wouldn't think twice about blood thinners and taking it in a Heart Attack situation. It will make you warm or even sweat, but not always but this is fine. As its also a natural 'Detoxer' hence the sweating. Some people report a rush of energy and a sense of well being akin to a Spritual exsperence, and others, like myself, feel very relaxed and it help's my anxiety as well. I get palpitation's regularly through out the day most day's, an the Cayenne stop&s them right away, or in a few minutes. And if I am going out any where, I make some ready and keep it in a dark glass bottle and carry it with me at all times. Coconut oil did the same thing to me as it did to you the first time I used it, an I had to go and lie own, but I reackon it's because I took a heaped table spoon first time, and my body was not use to it, so I began again with half a level tea spoon and worked my way up, but definately do NOT take it with Thyroid problem's. I would like to think this was a detox reaction bc it helped clear up a fungal issue, but I'm leaning more towards it speeding up my thyroid and I am hyperthyroid to begin with.

Another thing that helps heart palpitations is taurine.... Especially if you are sensitive to Msg and accidentally ingested some. Taurine is an amino acid that really helps get msg out of your system. Just something to look in to. It is an inexpensive supplement. I always keep it on hand for racing, fluttering heart. Good luck!

Techniques to Reset the Heart Rhythm

I would like to hear more from the gentleman from Mexico.
I have always believed that a problem with my back caused my a-fib but, the Doctors just laugh at me and pat me on the head and say we are trained, its our job. The a-fib started after I believe I ruptured a disk in the upper middle of my back. Now when I use my arms to scrub or do heavy work with my back and arms I have an attack. I do the magnesium, potassium, fish oil, and calcium. Because it makes me feel better but, I believe it is a nerve that is affecting the vagus nerve and that is creating the a-fib. I would like to hear more from Fred from Mexico or anyone who suspects this may be a cause. What would you tell a chiropractor about the problem?
Thank You.

Avoid Lactic Acid

Probiotics are very important for digestive health, but current ones are grown on GMO corn - which is, well.... really bad for you. So, now a days people will get their probiotics from fermented vegetables like sauerkraut etc. You can get it at the store - avoid additives, or make your own - very easy and fun to do. Everyone should eat a little bit everyday.

It's disturbing to read all the various self-treatments being tried for arrhythmias. No one, including the medics, are addressing what I believe is the underlying cause. The body requires certain elements in balance with one another in order to function normally. Your body cannot produce minerals if they're absent, and drugs cannot take their place. The heart requires several different minerals in correct proportions to beat regularly. Rather than start experimenting by guessing which ones are needed to balance the ratios, seek a practitioner knowledgeable about mineral balance. They will do the proper testing (usually hair analysis) to determine your specific needs and you'll find that many other health concerns disappear when the body is given what it requires to function properly. There is no "silver bullet" and what works for you may be completely wrong for someone else. So if your problem goes away after taking or limiting certain minerals, the likelihood the same advice will work for your friend/spouse/in-law/co-worker/bookie, etc. Is near zero. BTW, I'm an O.D., and the most likely professions to be of help will be naturopaths (N.D.) or chiropractors (D. C. ) in the U.S. Most "mom and pop" health food stores can direct you to people in your area who may be of help.
Remember, it's all about mineral balance. G.B.

Re: Heart Palpitations:
Take magnesium. Google: Dr. Carolyn Dean Magnesium and heart palpitations.
Take EFA's. Google: George Eby Heart Palpitations
Monitor your Omega 6 and Omega 3 Fatty Acid intake. The ration of 6 to 3 must be NO MORE THAN 4 to 1. Take a good EFA (Omega 3). Spend the money on a good one, to save your sanity and your heart. (See: selfnutritiondata.com for the ratios of Omega 6 to 3 in many foods. ) Good Luck to us all. Lucinda

AW and Bill, Sorry it took so long to reply. I forgot about my account. AW... Yes I still use BS Molasses for my heart skipping. I've tried vitamins and other supliments, trying to guess which supliment I'm missing. Finally I gave up. It's so cheap and easy to just swallow 1 TB of BS Molasses a couple times a week. I notice I need it more around cold season or when I'm stressed. I'm sure my body uses more of whatever I'm missing at that time. Hope it works for you..

Also, Taurine regulates heartbeat and can smooth out tachycardia. It also helps alleviate other cardiac issues such as MVP and MI. It can also protect against cardiac side effects from drugs. This is a link to a non-selling page, with technical information on taurine's effects on cardiac functions and EKG results. Most doctors will scoff at it because they can't sell it to you.

Taurine regulates heartbeat. Taurine competes with cysteine, so be sure you don't have high cysteine levels.

My friend had severe heart palpatations that had me driving him to the hostpital one time after he had sat there for 8 hours with an irregular heart beat! The hospital did what they knew to do but nothing worked for him and gave no really useful advice.
For another issue he started taking magnesium and a little zinc. He didn't really notice that he hadn't had a heart palpatation until one day he forgot to take the magnesium. His heart went irregular by about 2pm. He started to get worried.
He remembered he hadn't had his magnesium tablet and within a few minites of taking it the palpatations had completely stopped!
Reading other posts, I wonder if that's why molasses has worked for some people as it has a good supply of magnesium?

Systemchip, There is something else to consider about your symptoms. Hashitoxicosis. It sounds like you are experiencing hyperthyroid storms. This can be fatal. What happens is you are swinging back and forth from hypo to hyperthyroid. TSH tests will never find this, nor will t3 and t4 tests. You must be tested for free t3, free t4, reverse t3, and reverse t4. If your heart is weak or comprimised from your thyroid then it can't handle things like coq10, ingesting virgin coconut oil and sometimes not even omega 3.
Have the tests done first. You may have a copper deficiency. It may be that you can not handle magnesium because magnesium helps your body absorb and use iodine. The iodine overload will cause: you guessed it, hyperthyroid storms. You probably need to work with an endo who believes in natural cures as well.
Have your hair tested and do a saliva test to test your cortisol level. Your hair test will be like turning on a flashlight in a dark garage. You will then be able to see what kind of car is in the garage. Copper is like the brakes on your hyperthyroid, zinc is like an accelerator good for hypothyroid. The fast palps sound like hyperthyroid which means take copper for a week then add iron because they work together. The opposite would be zinc and selenium which is good for hypo but bad for hyper. A cople weeks later then start to add a little bit of zinc because you need a proper balance of copper and zinc to have a positive functioning thyroid. Let me know how things work.

Avoid Artificial Sweeteners

To Dinma from Nigeria.. You asked about artificial sweeteners? here in the United States, we have many different kinds of things that taste sweet that are come from man made chemicals or from companies that alter the chemical components of real sugar. They taste sweet but are fake. Aspartame is one that is pure chemical and is man made. Another is called Splenda, and they say it is made from real sugar, but it is somehow altered so that it does not make you have a rise in your blood sugar levels. Some are not artificial at all, but come from sources other than sugar cane. Those include Sorbitol, Maltitol and Stevia. Sorbital and Maltitol I believe come from a plant called the Chickory Root. Stevia is a plant by itself that has been aroudn for thousands of years, and is just now getting recognition. Stevia does not affect your bloodsugar levels like real sugar and it has little to no calories. And it is all natural with nothing added to it. Sorbitol and Maltitol will give a little bit of a blood sugar rise, but it takes hours to notice. I woudl stay away from Splenda also known as Sucrolose ( and Aspartame (also know as Equal) I think Stevia is the best sweetener you can use.
Apple Cider Vinegar

★☆☆☆☆WARNING!
.. Any kind of Vinegar can cause heart palpatations. Vinegar speeds up the metablolism and therefore can cause palapataions. Hasn't anyone on here ever heard of the "Apple Cider Vinegar" diet? two or three tablspoons a day of it. It speeds up your metabolism just like caffeine, diet pills, speed, any natural suplement that is supposed to aid in weight loss, or any kind of stimulant. I have major heart problems and was trying to lose weight by eating salads for lunch and dinner. I used white balsalmic vinegar for the dressing and didn't realize this is what set me off on a two week course to almost being dead!! No one could figure out why my heart beat was all over the place. I finally figured it out on my own, but it has taken three weeks for my heart to heal from the damaging of it having to work so hard from the fast heartbeats. Hope this helps someone out there...

Cardiac Ablation
Posted by Kvnc (Triangle, Nc) on 05/30/2012
Cardiac ablation should be avoided at all costs. It causes FAR more problems--weakness, debilitating shortness of breath, etc--than the problem it is supposed to correct. COQ10, goldenseal and selenium in combination, strengthen the heart muscle and mitigate against the misfiring of the electrical signals. Cured my own problem in the face of the threat of ablation four years ago, and haven't had a problem since, which watching friends undergo the horrors of ablation, which, of course, cannot be reversed once they've killed portions of your heart muscle.

Cayenne!! This morning, my heart 'went out' at 6:26 am. I hesitated taking cayenne as have not done so before. Tuned in to this site, for courage and for reassurance. At 7:24, took 1/4 t of cayenne in one cup of warm water. Result: heartbeat/arrhythmia became more obvious, almost stronger. I kept reading, praying. Then, at 7:50, took another of the same dose. Again, more obvious heartbeat. I kept reading, searching the web. Suddenly, at 8:26, I realized that my heart was 'back in'. You all know the elation I felt, the tremendous relief.
I thank God for this site. I thank God for all of you who have shared your trauma and experiences with this terrible scourge. God bless you. Thank you, from the bottom of my normal, normal heart!! Lucinda
Adrenal Fatigue Connection
Posted by Travis (San Antonio, Texas) on 05/15/2012
You have to be carful before experimenting with electrolytes as a possible cause of your palpitations. The reason is that a low or high potassium level can cause palpitations and arrhythmias. A potassium overdose can kill you. Your doctor will need to check your blood levels.
