Dear Kumar, I do NOT know of any country that sanctions BHT as a treatment for ANYTHING. The same is true of many if not most of the treatments discussed in this forum. BHT is sold as a food preservative. And as far as I know BHT is available in India sold as a food preservative. Also I am NOT a doctor and have NEVER pretended to be one. If you want whatever assurances a doctor can provide you NEED to see a doctor and use the treatments he or she prescribes....Oscar

Dear Ranjith from India. This a very hard question to answer.For example I am reading reports that China has lifted such restrictions. But even those reports are confusing. Many factors may apply for the different countries. What country or countries were you most interested in working in ? Job skills, age, and other things all matter. I truly wish I could help you with this. But I am NOT in any way up on this issue. If you can afford to pay a lawyer who specializes in this issue [ work visas for hepatitis B carriers ] that would be my advice. The issues are many and complex. If you can find a lawyer you trust he or she may be able to get you what you want and where you want.

Hi Yabyas...The only herb that will kill Hep B quickly is Chanca piedra(Phyllanthus niruri). Their is no suitable treatment against Hep B by modern medicine.This herb also works synergistically when taken with milk thistle(500 mgs twice a day with food).

Buy the CP powder form of Chanca piedra from a source like here.

Just boil some water, add 1/2 teaspoon of Chanca piedra powder and make a tea with it. Drink this tea outside mealtimes, two or 3 times a day. You can also take it with green tea for added taste and benefit. After taking this tea for about 3 month then have another check-up for your Hep B antigen count.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hi, I have Hep B since 2009, I was taken so many treatment not to the control the virus replicate, but finally I got one doctor no from Earth clinic, He advice to take BHT, I am taking since last three month it is quite good and my viral load are completely came down and the ALT, AST seems to good, but I hve the itching in whole body and it cant mange to terrible, the doctor said to take BORAX with baking soda but still it not to control fully the itching is running the hole body and I having the brain fog also any one can suggest the medicine for this would be appreciate. Dear Oscar: Thanks for reply, I started the BHT is just 3 month back only, but I have the itching from when I found the Hep B, it badly in the night time in all over my body espacialy in my arm , face head and genital area , it is looking like pimples and my skin color is bacame a grey in face. Daily night time I am getting worst means worst, after bed I could not wake up tired ness my leg nerve is paining and could not one step after wake up, due to every day I am wrapping my genitil area . Dear Kumar from India, I am NOT a doctor. BUT, the symptoms you describe seem consistent with some sort of skin infection. It could be many things only a doctor can diagnose. I know very many Hindus are compelled to bathe in the Ganges River. Did you bathe in the Ganges River prior to this onset of what appears to be some type of skin infection ?

When I was a child I caught a very itchy skin infestation that seems similar to what you have while swimming in an infected pond. It went away on it`s own eventually. I would think the doctors in India would be familiar with such skin infections. I wish I could help more but this is something you need to see a doctor to deal with....Oscar

Quick follow up: Ask doctors to test for new strains of E. Coli infection. Many doctors are not aware of this newly evolved disease. Drinking distilled water will help. Just drink a lot of distilled water. It won`t hurt you and should help....Oscar

Hi there, I went to get my physical blood work, and again, after a year I still had hepatitis B. When it was discovered in my blood work a year earlier, a naturopath doc suggested I take certain vitamins and that it would clear. My family physician had a presciption for me to take but I chose not to take it and take the vitamins. It obviously didn't clear and I am wondering how much BHT costs to order? Thank you, Milena

I hope my life is not coming to a sorrowful end, I was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B very early 2012. My liver enzymes were within range upon diagnosis and DNA was 5000 iu/ml.

I was adviced against fried, processed, sugar and fatty food, to sum it up I became a vegetarian and embraced Juicing of Carrot, Beet, Brocholi etc.I lived relatively an active life with exercise of four times a week.

I commenced Milk thistle, dandelion root, I repeated DNA test and LFT 6months later DNA:587, ALT 48.My DNA has been fluntuating between 113 and 287 iu/ml and ALT has been 54 at the highest (Last test was Oct 2013).My doctor feel my enzymes and DNA are good and I got confirmation from 2nd opinion (Hepatologist)

Symptoms has been very Yellow urine, fatigue/weakness and body itching, I had taken lot of Chanca piedra and organic coconut oil with multivitamins at various times.

The challenge I have is tremendous and rapid weight loss, its scary how I look as I have lost 12kg, I have lost muscles in my chest and arms and my lower tommy is slightly bulging and bloated with little intake of food its as though my stomach is bigger than my upper limb.I complained to my gastro all she could say was for me increase my food intake and I have been eating well in the past 8weeks yet....

I had Fibros scan done in Feb and the result was (5.8kpa iqr 0.5) I equally had a CT scan in feb and the liver was said to be in normal size.The scan I had last month showed the liver is not inflated.

Has anybody been in this situation before? What can I do? I need honest opinion and guidance please!!!!

So glad you are still here helping others to help themselves!

I feel as if we were just spit out of "the belly of the beast" like Jonah & the whale. The whale being the VA. Apparently Marvin is being declined a new liver based on the fact he used BHT and his hepatitis is almost in normal range. They are sending me the current scores, but are taking way too long to do it. We just returned from meeting the surgery team, and the head surgeon said the most interesting thing to me: He said, "God home and finish getting rid of the hepatitis C, because it will be a lot easier to do it now, than it would be after the surgery." He said this to us three times. I literally couldn't believe my ears! He was Chinese, and didn't have enough grasp of the English language to be cagey, nor apparently, to understand that in America we don't actually want to heal people -- we want the money!

The awful part is, that they saw his healing this aspect (the Hep-C) of his end-stage cirrhosis as such a challenge to the two new drugs coming out or some such attitude, that they are claiming I wouldn't be able to follow directions and didn't have the mental capacity to administer his medications properly, and so would "waste a liver."

So-- Marvin now (may I add, at long last, FINALLY), now have no other alternative but to go alternative! This just made for a shocking and rough drop on our heads from a steep cliff, but I am frankly relieved. They wanted Marvin to get even sicker than he is first-- eeking out every possible pain for a penny more. That being, he had to also get cancer first, which he still does not have! Then, after that, treat it with chemo, and THEN, AND THEN, AND THEN.

The poor man is on toxic overload, but we will seek a real, heroic, true doctor's second opinion next. My question is, when in such desperate straits as End-Stage, what do you think of doing Berkson Therapy and BHT? Marvin desperately needs someone to come alongside him, a docotr interested in helping him heal his own liver, and I am not a doctor so cannot of course give any medical advice whatsoever. Neither can you, so, just asking as a friend, what would you do? Only a doctor can re-evaluate the liver-toxic soup he is on, and try healthy alternatives that heal.

I must tread a little carefully here, but the hour is come and something must be done to reverse the liver--toxic compounds given to him daily to allow the liver to regenerate itself, let the BHT do it's job-- and let the man try to heal. The far-advanced cirrhosis itself, must be healed, now that he has almost no Hep-C.. I am saddened that we wasted so much precious time going down this merry road, with no effort made to actually heal Marvin, only to weaken him further and further.

The bright spot here, however, is that we are finally on the same page, and it has been decided for us, so now we only have a healthy choice as a viable alternative! For this, I AM GRATEFUL.

I went for a test last 6 months and the doctor said that I had hepatitis B. I asked him what I should do and he told me that I do not need any medication at the moment but I need regular check up. Anchy: Radio waves have frequencies. The frequency of the cells is not the same as that of pathogens. All diseases are caused by low electrical energies in the cells. All people have to do is increase the electrical energies in the cells. Pathogens are not able to survive in this atmosphere. Enzymes from raw food and live ferments and bioactive minerals from organic fruits and vegetables and raw grass fed animal products like hamburger and eggs increase the electrical energies in the cells. In addition to diet, it is very important to check your thyroid because 1) liver disease can directly effect thyroid function and 2) low or hypothyroid lowers the voltage in almost every cell in the body. So, be sure to have dr check Thyroid and supplement Iodine in some concentrated form; you can now purchase Iodized sea salt. L Tyrosine is also taken up by the thyroid to make hormones so it would help to take as a supl.

Anyway, it is imperative to optimize cell voltage for any complete recovery or healing to occur. In severe cases using a Zapper a few times daily will help. Some folks have the need to wear them for several hrs per day. A Zapper is like a second immune system and is proven to increase cell voltage.

Good day guys! I was diagnosed last Aug 2012 as a Chronic Hep B positive, I have my liver ultrasound and found out that it is normal. I was diagnosed of chronic Hepatitis B with vira load of 140200, liver tests says there are extensive areas of balloon degeneration, moderate infiltration of portal tracts by mononuclear inflammatory cells, some portal tracts show bile duct prolification and a few areas show mild lobular inflammation while some portal tracts appear fibrotic. I started using tenofovir and livolin almost 2 months now. What do you advice?

Missionaries, who often have little access to conventional medicine, have successfully used activated charcoal to treat Hepatitis. Here is a story of man who used charcoal to treat hepatits. (His story is about half way down the page.)

Basically, he took the charcoal internally and used the charcoal externally. You could try taking 1-2 t. Of activated charcoal powder in 8 oz. Of water twice a day. Take at least 2 hours after medication or 2 hours before, as it will affect prescription medication. If you are prone to constipation, be sure to get plenty of water. (And if you are prone to constipation, get that addressed as your body needs to be regularly eliminating toxins and not retaining them longer than necessary.)

You can make a charcoal poultice and put over your liver area each night. This is sort of a pain, but very effective. If you can get flaxseed to add to the charcoal, it makes it easier to work with and retain the water longer. (Charcoal must be wet to work. ) Mix equal parts of ground flax seed and charcoal. Add water and stir until it is jelly like in consistency. Spread over a paper towel. Cover with another paper towel. Put this poultice over your liver. Cover with plastic wrap. Use an ace bandage or something to attach it to your body. Make a new poultice each night. (You can make up a week's worth and keep the extras in the refrigerator.)

Dandelion tea is excellent for healing the liver. I knew someone who healed his Hepatitis C with Dandelion Tea alone. Start with 1 cup dandelion tea and work up to 3 cups a day. (Be sure to steep the tea for 15 minutes before straining.)

You say that your viral load is high. Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil is amazing for viruses. My son had mono once and nothing was working but then we started coconut oil he got well very quickly. Start with 1 t. morning and night and work up to 1 Tablespoon morning and night by the end of the week.

It is important to be drinking plenty of water to flush out toxins. (1/2 gallon over a day, herbal tea counts as part of this.)

Also, increasing your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables (organic, if possible) would be very helpful, too.

Teas, poultices, and dietary changes are a lot of work, but very effective!

Outstanding post and your reference to the web site "Charcoal Remedies.com" . Years ago I kept charcoal as one of my often used "nutrients" and occasionally took a few pills as a tablet, but the "Charcoal Remedies" site got me to realize the great uses of Charcoal as a poultice as well as an internal cleanser.

That web site had such good information and I so appreciate you sharing it. In fact, I stayed up for two hours tonight reading from it! The site has wonderful practical uses... Story after story and lots of MD's use of charcoal as well. I've always been fascinated by the use of "poultices" and now I'll include charcoal as one of the "go to" items in my array of practical helps.

Am I dying sooner please? Good morning, I finally uncovered that I've a chronic liver problem. And I'm dying any moment from now. My ALP alkaline Phosphate is 12. My total and direct BILIRUBIN are 22 and 14 respectively. HBsAg, anti HBe and anti HBc are all reactive. While HBeAg and Anti HBs are non reactive.

I'm thinking of withdrawing from my studies since I'm already dead. Pls I'm waiting for a medical advice from the Medical Expert. I've experienced mild enlargement of the liver according to radiologist. The liver show decrease parenchymal ecogenicity with with uniform parenchymal echo pattern. There's accentuation of the portal trisds giving the so called starry sky appearance due to inflammatory changes. He concluded that SONOGRAPHIC ARE THOSE OF HEPATIC INFLAMMATORY CHANGES MOST LIKELY DUE TO VIRAL HEPATITIS. However, whenever I'm lying on my back I do feel something is not normal in the right side of my chest, and it increasingly paining me. Pls I need more explanation.

After the first three months, I had a 25% reduction between my first and second test, and a 86% reduction between my second and third test. 1, 514, 500 to 168, 600 is amazing!
Though, it's hard to say exactly what has contributed to this. In addition to BHT, I started taking Chanca Piedra and Monolaurin these last three months. I also cut out a lot of my workout supplements/super dosing of vitamins.

- My sister was diagnosed about 25 plus years ago with Hepatitis B. I did not find out until today that she has been on Vemlidy prescription all these years. Doctors have told her that she can't stop taking it otherwise she will die. I don't know much about this disease but I am a firm believer in natural remedies and thanfully she is open to holistic remedies. It's so difficult as I don't even know about the viral count nothing. I read alot and here I saw much on chanca piedra which I found here. Dear Danielle, I will start my response by saying I also have NO idea as to what those numbers and their corresponding acronyms mean. Also, one of the questions you asked is whether or not the treatments you mentioned were safe to use if considering getting pregnant. I very much advise against getting pregnant until and unless this hepatitis B issue is resolved. So first concentrate on resolving this hepatitis B issue before getting pregnant.

If you choose to try the BHT treatment, use that treatment and none of the others. The BHT treatment does NOT work well with other treatments.

The BHT treatment is:

200mg to 350mg of BHT taken once or twice a day with water only on an empty stomach. People who weigh less need and desire less BHT. You have to find a dosage you are comfortable with.

The supplements that work well with BHT are:

1. Vitamin B12 in a daily dosage of 1, 000mcg [ micrograms ]. 1mg [ milligram ] is the same as 1, 000mcg.
2. Vitamin C in a daily dosage not to exceed 1, 000mg
3. A regular type vitamin B-complex tablet
4. A standard multi-vitamin and mineral pill.
5. The lipid monolaurin is OK to use.

Do NOT take any other supplements with the BHT treatment. Do NOT take milk thistle. Do NOT take vitamin E supplements. Do NOT drink grapefruit juice

In short: Keep the BHT treatment simple for best results... Oscar

Dear Ethel from Australia, I hope to be of some help to you regarding BHT dosage. It is a tricky issue. You have to find a dosage you are comfortable with. For people of average weight you should start out with no more than 250mg of BHT per day with water on an empty stomach. The more you weigh the more you need but it need not be that much. I myself was using only one or two 250mg capsules of BHT per day and I weighed about 175 pounds when I succesfully treated my hepatitis C infection. There are many people who tolerate as much as two 350mg of BHT per day=700mg per day. There are others who have adverse reactions to even one 250mg of BHT per day. These capsules are easy to pull apart so you can lower the dosage if needs be. You have to find out for yourself what you are comfortable with. For an average size woman 250mg of BHT taken with water only twice a day seems to be plenty enough and may be too much. If adverse effects are felt stay with one dose per day. Age is also a factor. Younger people seem to tolerate larger doses better than people over 55 or so. Trying to help, ...Oscar

Dear Ethel from Ausrtralia. You are a petite woman at only 100 pounds. If you tolerate the 250mg of BHT taken twice a day=500mg of BHT per day that should be plenty enough. If adverse effects are experienced lower the dosage used.

Now those B vitamins work well with the BHT treatment. Vitamin B12 in a dosage of 1mg [ milligrams ] which is the same as 1,000mcg [ micrograms ] is especially helpful. Also the lipid or oil monolaurin works well with BHT. Vitamin C in a dosage of between 500mg and 1,000mg also works well with BHT.

I do not know whether or not the other supplements you discussed will work well with BHT or not.

Many supplements do NOT work well with the BHT treatemnet including milk thistle and iit`s extracts, grapefruit juice, and others.

Dear Rob from Manhattan, The BHT does seem to be what cleared up that bald spot. This bald spot was quite obvious prior to my using BHT on a daily basis starting in 1997 when I was 48 years old. I am now 64 years old and that bald spot is still gone. One of the women at THE BHT CURES CHAT GROUP has also reported that an area of her scalp that had significantly thinning hair has filled in and improved greatly. Others have reported receding gums about their teeth filling in and becoming normal.

The more you look into this BHT stuff, the more health benifits you find if and only if you use sensible dosing. You need to find a dosage you are comfortable with. For me, a 200 pound male 350mg per day seems to be about right. If I use more than that on a regular basis I do experience an undesirable stimulant effect along with some stomach discomfort. When I was younger I was able to tolerate as much as 350mg of BHT twice a day=700mg of BHT per day. But I can no longer tolerate that much BHT on a daily basis without the adverse effects I just described.

This is no miracle cure. It is based on sound, proven chemisrtry. BHT very readily deactivates free radicals and reactive oxygen species.

For example when hydrogen peroxide is split or cleaved you have two very reactive and destructive free radicals called hydroxy radicals. Look at how simple it is: H-O-O-H , hydrogen peroxide becomes two O-Hs. BHT deactivates this by donating one hydrogen atom to each O-H and thereby becomes H-O-H [ water ]. This is done in pairs or two at a time. Then the two different carbons that gave up those one each hydrogens bond to each other. Those two carbons bonded to each other now satisfy the octet rule. Simply stated: the carbon atom`s need to have 4 chemical bonds to be a stable compound. There are exceptions to this octet rule also. But that is another fairly complex aspect of organic chemisrty.

Dear Leon from FL, We had at least one report that BHT taken seperately with water on an empty stomach worked very well with the herb chanca peidra taken seperately, not at the same time as a treatment for a chronic hepatitis B infection. So apparently these two different treatments do work well together for a hepatitis B infection.

There are numerous reports of both the BHT and the chanca piedra treatment working well for a hepatitis B infection and NO indication that they do not work well together.

I know nothing about salvia and have NO opinion about it good or bad.

Also for people with liver disease a moderate, regulal type vitamin B complex tablet along with a vitamin B12 dose of 1mg per day helps . 1mg [ milligrams ] is the same as 1, 000mcg [ micrograms ]. Vitamin B12 is sold in mcg [ microgram ] dosages. Also vitamin C taken in daily doses of 500mg to 1, 000mg does seem to help. But vitamin E supplements should be avoided because vitamin E supplements have been proven to enhance lipid coated viruses ability to replicate. Of course you need some vitamin E, but a healthy diet provides plenty enough. And importantly: BHT does NOT work well with milk thistle and it`s extracts.

I base my recommendations on the feedback available as to what works and does not work. And there is substantial feedback about all this in this important forum and others also....Oscar

Dear Semustwin from Sheffield, UK: I very much appreciate your thank you. I can only hope I am worthy of it. We, I was getting a number of very impressive reports at my now non-existing BHT cures group. I ended that group because of threats of legal actions against me by one of that group`s members. He had been taking BHT for about one year and began complaining about muscle cramps in his shoulder blades. He was treating a hepatitis C infection with BHT. When asked if he had ever had any testing done to determine if the BHT treatment had worked or not he said no, but was determined to cause me grief for my efforts. That is why I ended that group. I do not have the fortitude that Ted does. I am unwilling to spend my life and what little money I have fighting it out in court with such people.

Anyway, some very impressive results were reported with the use of BHT to treat hepatitis B and C. Many did achieve UNDETECTABLE with those viral load count tests. I very much hope you will be one of them....Oscar

Hi Samo, thank you for that input, it's very encouraging. I've battled with HBV now since 2011. I also take entecavir and my viral load is basically undetected but I get heat sensation on my upper back now for a year and it can be very uncomfable at night or when I'm not working or moving around..Fatigue is there too. For what it is worth I had Hep b 43 yrs ago when my son was born. The doctor was a specialist in this disease. He bioped me told me it was hep b from a dirty needle. 6 months later he did the same biop I was cured.

I have read a few posts from you about Chanca Piedra. Want to ask you a few questions:

My liver panel was abnormal about one year ago and had high DNA, but after 2~3 months, the liver panel(ALT, AST and etc) all changed to normal, and DNA decreased to <500; but I didn't monitor them for about year, so in this Jan, I had a test and ALT/AST are mild elevated, but DNA is about 10^7. Following my doctor's words, I just started to take baraclude a few days ago; and the doctor said I will be on the medication for the rest of life. kind of scared...

Say you and a few ppl here cleaned up the virus, so wonder if I can still take Chanca Piedra and Salvia Ligustrum, while I'm taking baraclude at the same time? or I have to stop baraclude?

Hi Jingle...As I've said, baraclude is a medicine with significant side effects. From the Baraclude website here are the reported side-effects of baraclude over the long term:

Lactic acidosis (buildup of acid in the blood). Some people who have taken BARACLUDE or medicines like BARACLUDE have developed a serious condition called lactic acidosis. Lactic acidosis is a serious medical emergency that can cause death and must be treated in the hospital. Reports of lactic acidosis with BARACLUDE generally involved patients who were seriously ill due to their liver disease or other medical condition.Call your healthcare provider right away if you: feel very weak or tired; have unusual (not normal) muscle pain; have trouble breathing; have stomach pain with nausea and vomiting; feel cold (especially in your arms and legs); feel dizzy or light-headed; have a fast or irregular heartbeat.

Serious liver problems. Some people who have taken medicines like BARACLUDE have developed serious liver problems called hepatotoxicity, with liver enlargement (hepatomegaly) and fat in the liver (steatosis). Hepatomegaly with steatosis is a serious medical emergency that can cause death. Call your healthcare provider right away if: your skin or the white part of your eyes turns yellow (jaundice); your urine turns dark; your bowel movements (stools) turn light in color; you don't feel like eating food for several days or longer; you feel sick to your stomach (nausea); you have lower stomach pain

If you are female, very overweight, or have been taking nucleoside analogue medicines, like BARACLUDE for a long time, you may be more likely to get lactic acidosis or serious liver problems.

I'm just hammering the point that I think Baraclude is a particularly dangerous medicine because it can cause body acidosis and is so obviously toxic for the liver and can even cause jaundice/cirrhosis over the longer term.

However, from the research, Chanca piedra has no known overdose limit and no known side-effects for the body over the short or longterm.

So it is safe to take chanca piedra and baraclude at the same time?

From the evidence above, common sense would seem to suggest that chanca piedra is the safer one to take for your condition. If you take baraclude at the same time as chanca piedra, then baraclude will act to weaken the body(acidosis) and weaken the liver(causing jaundice) while, at the same time, the chanca piedra(no side-effects) is trying to defeat the Hep B in order to heal the liver. Simply put, baraclude seems to work against the liver healing and Hep B killing effects of chanca piedra. So if it were me, I would just take only the chanca piedra every day and monitor my viral count and progress on a monthly or tri-monthly basis with the doctor as normal.

Yes, chanca piedra can cure Hep B. On the other hand, baraclude is only recommended to lower viral load. Modern medicine has no consistent cure for Hep B.

If you're start taking chanca piedra on its own everyday then you should work up to a maximum of four cups of tea a day taken outside mealtimes.

You can take chanca piedra tea as long as you like. Until you are cured.

You can take Salvia ligustrum with chanca piedra if you wish. But a good organic form of chanca piedra powder should be able to kill off the Hep B virus on its own in my opinion.

You should be able to buy wildcrafted organic chanca piedra online at Amazon or Ebay. I get my own supply of organic chanca piedra from my garden in the Philippines and prepare the herb myself.

Hi. My question is to Bill or anyone who can give me advice I just got my lab done. ALT 63; hepatitis B surface AB quant >1,000.00 ;hepatitis B surface AB qual reactive ; hepatitis B surface Ag nonreactive; hepatitis C virus antibody nonreactive. I'm confuse do I have hepatitis B? Can I start to take Chanca Piedra? Doctor told me to do more blood work in one month. Experiencing some pain in right side ander ribcage. Ultrasound is ok. Wasn't vaccinated. Please help. Thank you!

Hello. I am new to Hep B. I just found out about a month ago after having some blood work done. You say you were pregnant when you found out. My main question is about your pregnancy and children. hepatitis b: hi I have just done my test on 13/02/13 and I got hbsag +
Then doctor asked me to do further tests and they are
hbeag - non reactive
hbv viral load -101 IU/ml
anti hbc Igm - 0.08 negative
anti HBe - 0.14 (positive)

my doc has to say that I am having chronic hepatitis b with inactive virus and no treatment needed. but I cannot get rid of virus anytime and can't become Hbsag negative. please guide me with the same... Is there any chances???

Chanca Piedra is everywhere in Lagos, try Oyingbo market you probably will get it there the other name for the plant is SEED UNDER LEAF my part of Yoruba calls it EYIN OLUBI (do-do-re-re-re)

I have started a month ago with salvia ligustrum and to be honest I miss some days , sometimes I just forgot to take the pills... @ Muhammad:I have been taking Salvia Ligustrum for a month already (I have read that some people conerted to negative afer taking Salvia Ligustrum) - I try to take 9 tablets 3 times daily but sometimes skip intakes; and I take chanka piedra ocasionally; I am planning to continue with the treatment for two more months and then will do all my tests and will see.

Also every day I take Phyllanthus Comples which containes Phyllanthus amarus leaf (chanka piedra), milk thistle seed, and dandelion root.

Hi Tatiana, I have also been a health carrier all my life. Found out when I was pregnant w/ my first child, in 1996. My ex. husband never contracted it form me. I'm 37 y/o now and would like to get rid of the virus. I want to date again but it's been difficult for me to tell people that I'm HBV positive. I went and got some test done last month and all my lab values where good, everything was normal. My viral load was 1100. Please keep me posted on how it goes. I'm going to start on Chanca piedra this month and will keep everyone posted on how it goes. I've read that Chanca piedra has anti-viral activities and could make your viral load become undectectable. I'm also very scared of making my condition worst with these herbs. Can anybody let me know if they had side effects form Chanca piedra, tea form, when they took this herb. Then I will start on Salvia lingustrum. Hope to hear form anyone soon.

I've also read Max's story and its given me some hope. Max, did you take all three herbs Chanca piedra, Salvia lingustrum, and beta glutan all at the same time. Or did you take them months apart after you monitor your lab values? Be greatful of your reply. Thank you.

No, I took all of them separately. First, I took chanca piedra. Later I took Salvia for two months and I had test done that showed that my antigen is negative. Later I took beta glucan and I still take beta glucan with some breaks.

Hi Max, thanks for replying, how long did you take chanca piedra for? You had mentioned that you found out that you were a HBV carrier with your first pregnancy. How long did it take you to seroconvert? Meaning form the time you took chanca piedra to HBsAg negative. Approximately how many months did this take? I don't know if you got an answer to you question about the possibility of converting back to HBV positive. It could happen, when your immune system is compromised, such as in chemothreapyand you can never donate blood. I am so happy for you. Even though may people who are inactive carrriers live a long and healthy life, it must be a huge relief to be rid of it :) Warmest regards and thanks again.

Chanca piedra did not convert my antigen, salvia did. But chanca piedra made my virus load decrease. I took for several months. I see a liver doctor every six months and sometimes I asked my physician to run tests, then I could monitor results of chanca piedra and salvia. I also changed diet, became vegetarian, took some herbs for liver, drink green tea and water with lemon juice. I really do not know how much all other things helped me. But I know that salvia converted my antigen within two months. But before this my DNA was low.

Hello guys, Haven't been here for a while. I am still planning on doing the course with Salvia Ligustrum. I tried for a while but my stomach did not feel well so I stopped. Maybe the dosage 9 pills x 3 times a day was too much. Or my diet was not right. Do not know exactly what happened. I am still positive but will try again with both Chanca Piedra and Salvia Ligustrum.

If someone knows please let me know about the possible allergic reactions to Salvia Ligustrum and what is the right dosage to be taken.... What if I take only 3 pills x 3 times daily. Is it going to work?

I bought organic chanca piedra tea from David Wolf and his company Longevity Wharehouse. It wasn't expensive but you will have to get it shipped... I have tried natural stores and no one had it... you can probably also find it online at amazon.com

I'd have to say that you know as much as I do about the chanca piedra, but as I was looking at the source, GMO, pesticide and herbicide free qualities, I felt that the Sunfood looked good. The others may be equally fine.

I have been on this site for years, and know you can trust Bill's advice. He is a resourceful researcher and graciously shares his knowledge with us. He is a free thinker and sees connections between illness and ordinary herbs and products that doctors miss. He usually gives studies to back up his advice. So when he says chanca piedra can cure Hep B, I would believe him. I don't know about mixing it with your medicine. I've had severe Hep A and was told by the doctors in the hospital that it could go either way, so I understand your concern about overloading the liver when it is already compromised, but I'm not qualified to advise you on that. I hope you find the answers you are seeking and become totally cured soon.

But feel it is a tough decision just because I just started the medication a few days ago and am scared of stopping it now since it says it will be dangerous if stop within 6 months or 1 year without doctor's words... I wish I could come to this site earlier... I missed the golden chance. I cannot decide what to do, because I'm afraid of worsening the situation and missing the time window to treat the problem.
