Kidney help

Years ago, in 1998 my son was sent home from the hospital, on a friday, after one week, with a very swollen abdomen and swelling in his ankles. He has had a disease called Nephrotic Syndrome since he was fifteen, and he was then twenty-four. At that time he had been hospitalized over forty times for this awful disease. This hospital that had had him for a patient for nearly ten years, lost his medical file! So my son told this new doctor that when he is in a swollen state that Lasix in pill form will not make him urinate. He told him that the only treatment that would get the fluid off of him at that point was lasix given intraveinously.

Well, the doctor refused and kept on trying to give him pills. When I told the patient advocate about the problem the doctor sent my son home the next day with about two gallons of excess water still inside him. He could not urinate more than an inch of urine containing blood and pus. Well, I made him a bed on my couch and tried to make him as comfortable as I could. I knew that it would be nearly impossible to find a kidney specialist on the weekend. So I went into my bedroom and closed the door and laid across my bed and cried and cried. And then I remembered something I had read in a little book titled: '10 Top Herbs to cure big diseases' It said that cayenne pepper unblocks any blockage!

So I thought to myself it is worth a try. I looked in my kitchen cabinet and I had it in my spices. I thought I would put some in soup, and then I told myself 'No' because that is just more liquid in him he doesn't need right now. So I dumped out some big capsules and filled up four or five of them. I gave them to my son and within a four hour period, he urinated three long times! After that his pills kicked in and began working! He remained in remission for about eight years but it always flares up when he gets a cold or flu, or under to much stress.

I hope this helps.

I'm 86 and have High Blood Pressure and chronic kidney disease. I want to take ACV for detox and HBP, but ACV is high in potassium, which I've been told to limit. My kidney disease is in the early stage, but I'd like to know if ACV should be avoided? Thanks, Roy

It is through research, and my understanding that apple cider vinegar (with the 'mother'), actually turns body chemistry ALKALAI (ANTI-DISEASE); NOT ACIDIC. PLEASE RESEARCH FOR YOUSELF.

I was facinated with Brian of Australia Comfrey remedy for his kidney troubles.

I am a New Zealander living in Kentucky USA..as a child my Mum(part Maori) always added a few leaves of Comfrey into the cabbage etc,she also told me when I had babies to add a leaf or two into my babies vegetables, and I always did that.

Over my life I have ALWAYS grown Comfrey in my garden,it makes a wonderful tea for the garden plants, and my Mum would use it in her compost. The common name for Comfrey is Knitbone..because it knits together,it is an ancient herb.Unfortunately withing the last 20years some silly persons have over indulged (They must have drunk buckets of Comfrey tea) consequently comfrey has been labelled now.
I believe EVERYTHING in moderation..I have heard of someone dyeing from drinking too much water..if you understand what I mean.

Since living in Kentucky a long way from my Homeland, I have been able to buy a Comfrey plant, and my Comfrey is my treasure, I make a tea from her..I can gargle with the tea..I can add honey and a little ginger powder if I had a cold or flu..comfrey is great for the lungs..bladder etc.

Comfrey leaf if crushed (roll the rolling pin over to crush stalk) and put on a cut with gauze, and wrapped in plastic wrap, within 24hours cut will be sealed, do the same thing for bruising, grazing etc.. back in New Zealand many of the horse trainers use Comfrey for their horses legs when hurt.. Comfrey can also be dried out in the sun and kept air tight to use throughout the Winter..hope you are all healed now Brian.

Regards Jacqui

Eliminate Carbonated Beverages

Did you mean protein in the urine? Your husband would be in trouble if he didn't have protein in his blood. If protein in the urine is what you meant, the answer is probably that he is drinking a lot of carbonated beverages and that is causing swelling in his kidneys and letting the protein leak from his blood into the urine.

This is why I recommend that all people do not drink them and especially not let their kids drink them. While doing ambulatory care I ran across 4 children running from trace to 4+ proteinuria (protein in the urine). Trace is the least amount measured and at 4+ you look for big time kidney problems. Changing nothing but leaving off carbonated beverages on all 4 of them, 1 week later 3 of them were negative for protein in the urine and the 4th one who had the 4+ was down to trace. Her mother had let her drink one on the way to the clinic. None of these children had a UTI at the time of testing, but as I told their mothers, "If you want your children to keep the kidneys they were born with, keep them away from carbonated beverages". Even if you are lucky enough to get a match for a transplant, you will be needing about $l0,000 in medicine to keep from rejecting that transplant, and that medicine affects your immune system making your more susceptible to everything including cancer.

when 7 years old, I nearly died with nepthritis [ kidney disease ]. At 39 year old, the pain in that area made me almost weep and it needed to be stopped. I felt something inside said to fast, take only lemon juice and eat "raw" comfrey - I did this from 4.00 pm friday until lunch time sunday and I have never had a pain there since and I am now 68years old. "I thank God for Comfrey" - since then I have spoke to people who have also been set free of disease in the kidneys through comfrey and its healing "alantoin". I only ate about 7 hand sized leaves over 3 days.

Wonderful Corn Silk For Kidney Problems:

Corn silk has been used to treat various urinary disorders and is a diuretic.

In Chinese medicine it is used as a treatment for water retention.

Corn silk tea has a soothing effect on kidney, bladder and urinary problems, and can clear up pus, infection, burning or scalding urine. It will also soothe inflammation of the urinary passages due to gravel or kidney stones, and regulate the flow of urine (whether too much or too little), in cases of bladder drip and incontinence -inability of the bladder to hold urine-and urine retention or stoppage of urine. It seems to heal diseased areas of the kidneys, bladder and urinary passages and flush out uric acid, toxins and other poisons.

Castor Oil

I have always used Castor Oil Packs to strengthen my liver and kidneys. The liver can grow itself back if you take the time to do it.

You get cold pressed castor oil, wool flannel, a heating pad and a piece of plastic - I use a garbage bag. There are sites online that will explain it in details.

I put the castor oil into a sealed container with the wool flannel and shake it up. You want the castor oil to be dripping from it slowly. I then put the container into the microwave for about 15 or 20 seconds - just to get it heated up. I then put a couple of towels onto my bed or couch and lay down on them. Then I take the wool flannel and put it on my stomach. If you are trying to heal the liver, put it a little bit more over your liver, if you are trying to heal the kidneys, put it over that area. Then I put the garbage bag onto the flannel and then the heating pad - all the way on high (or as high as you can handle). Leave it on for at least one hour and meditate on what you are trying to achieve. After you are finished, wipe yourself off with a mixture of Baking soda and water to get your skin back to the proper ph.

Do this for 4-5 days on and then leave off for the remaining days.

The is a good book called Edgar Cayce and the Palma Christi. It tells of all the wonderful things that Castor Oil (the Palma Christi) does!
