DMSO, Tea Tree, Neosporin, Sunlight for MRSA on Breast

I had a large, craterous, ulcerous, MRSA on my breast. Sick of reg Drs.- they haven't helped me in 10 years. I sought out a natural cure. I put DMSO creme on it then a band aid for a few hours. Then I put silver gel on it. contains real silver, also the band aid for a few hours, then I put tea tree oil and neosporin on it and a bandaid for a few hours. The next morning I exposed the area to bright direct sunlight (per my daughter's suggestion) The sunlight seemed to work the best- surprisingly! After 15 minutes of exposure it was 50% less redness around it. I did this every day and in a week and a half it was completely cleared up! I cannot take credit for the ointments protocol, I found that on a review on amazon. I think modern medicine is ridiculous in that we have to find our own remedies, whatever they gave me gave me bad side effects without helping the problem!

MRSA on right hand and forearm, spread to chest, and face. contracted mid march, misdiagnosed. Small stinging pimple on right wrist turned into huge infected ulcer with reddish purple ridges , painful swelling. Over next few months seven new ones appeared on hand and upper forearm. In the last two days two small ulcers on chest and a small red pimple on left side of face. May 24, Emergency room Dr. Prescribed new meds, bactroban and Doxycycline. I'm slathered in bactroban, day one of new meds when I notice one of the larger ulcers on my forearm is spreading. horrers upon horrers three new red inflamed pimples. Deep breath, stay calm, don't panic, do not scream. bactroban is not working but maybe the Doxycycline will.

I use Tea tree oil conditioner once a week on my hair for the controll of dandruff, works wonderfully and so soothing when I rub over my face. I had tried tea tree oil on my arm but I broke out in hives and my arm became more inflamed. I think if I wasn't so worried the light bulb would have gone off sooner. The conditioner is obviously diluted. I almost broke my neck trying to get to the bathroom. I mixed up five drops of tea tree oil in one tespoon water and added it to 1 tablespoon Holista tea tree conditioner. I slathered this all over my arm and in ten minutes the swelling and redness almost gone. I put some on my chest and face same reaction. Maybe this is the miracle I have been looking for, cross my fingers and a big prayer. Thank you for the info on diluting tea tree oil.

Ted's Remedies

MRSA outbreaks in Thailand? Possibly it comes from the pollutants and birds (excellent carriers for many diseases, bugs, etc) here in my home. However, boils outbreak I think is difficult but they tend to occur during the "vegetarian festivities" here in Thailand.

The reason why is really simple, most white flour which is used in cooking during the festivities is used in the food, so people consume more.

They are very acid forming food, next to soda pop that is banned in schools in U.S. at least, but not here. Some milk actually added fluoride, so that doesn't help either. These acid forming food, especially flour, do get easily contaminated quite easily with fungus, etc. The body's immune system simply stops for about 2 hours in presence of sugar, the fact that some cola adds phosphoric acid simply make things worse.

The outbreak, therefore is more tied to the diets which lowers your immune system, such as sugar, and white flour found in bread being the worse offender of these MRSA and an outbreak as well as weight gain often occur or coincide during and after the vegetarian festivities.

I am not a pro meat or a pro vegetarian either. What I am saying is white flour is one of the worse offenders of acid forming food (next to soda pop) and the rise in use of sugar often rises to coincide with the vegetarian festivities. I once got a terrible boils in the buttocks similar to Kathryn, but the source of it i knew to be ice cream, but chocolate or cocoa strangely enough causes pimples but not boils.

So the way to stop boils at least for me was taking plenty of zinc, chromium, vanadium and baking soda to alkalize my body. Drain whatever pus that occurs in the boils to dry them.

Being especially careful to avoid both sugar AND acid forming food is the best way to remove these antibiotic resistant out of the body. You don't have to buy an elaborate lists of kinds of acid forming list, just remember to simply stay away from sugar and flour. They are easier to remember, getting too particular can confuse you. Certain supplements, you need to be wary if you take too much as they too are acid forming, whose supplements name have the words "hydrochloride", such as pyridoxine hydrochloride, a vitamin B6. A better substitute is pyridoxal 5 phosphate.

Antibiotics no longer works with me, actually it had not work for at least 10 years now, regardless of the kinds of antibiotics I use. And this is why I have remedies to get around this issue for at least 10 years now. Ted

Niacin(B3) converts triglycerides and LDL to HDL... basically starving the staph. Higher Sodium Ascorbate content won't hurt either. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) might help as well. Ted's got the right idea.

New Strategy Cracks Staph Bacterium's "Golden Armor," Making It Vulnerable To Treatment -- 15 Feb 2008
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/97423.php
"Researchers have exploited a structural vulnerability in the "superbug" Staphylococcus aureus that in laboratory experiments and a mouse study opened the bacterium to treatment with an anti-cholesterol medication. This follows the 2005 discovery that a pigment provides a "golden armor" that enables staph to evade the immune system.

An article published Feb.14 in the online version of Science (Science Express) describes the study, which was conducted by researchers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the National Taiwan University in Taipei, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of California, San Diego.

After treatment with the drug - which had progressed through preclinical testing in rats and two early clinical trials in humans as a cholesterol-fighting medication - staph bacteria were about 15 times more susceptible to killing by hydrogen peroxide and were four-fold less able to survive in human blood, according to George Y. Liu, M.D., Ph.D., one of the article's co-first authors.""

MRSA control for a normally healthy person requires decolonization of skin and nostrils. MRSA typically hides out in the membrane inside the nostrils so you must treat all areas of the skin and both nostrils at the same time:

The decolonization procedure often recommended includes both of the following measures:

Apply 2% mupirocin ointment generously throughout the inside of both nostrils with a cotton swab ( but don't overdo and dig too deep inside the nostril) twice daily for 10 days and
Bathe with liquid chlorhexidene soap, washing all skin surfaces daily for five days. Daily bathing or showering using an antibacterial agent such as chlorhexidine gluconate is recommended during mupirocin treatment to improve chances of eradication. Alternative treatment with tea tree oil body lotion and shampoo have been shown effective in achieving decolonization, and have the benefit of being less harsh on the skin. Use a pharmaceutical grade Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash.

In addition to the previously described strategy to decolonize the MRSA bacteria on skin and in nostrils, you should also at the same time take internally dietary supplements of probiotics containing a variety of strains of acidophilus like lactobacilus acidophilus and lactobacillus rhamosus. Make sure the brand you buy has a guarantee of true potency. This product will be in the refridgerated part of a health food store and you should keep it refridgerated at home. Also youghert with live probiotic cultures and buttermilk also have lactobacilus acidophilus. Eat plenty of these. Feed youghert, kefir, buttermilk to your kids to strengthen their immune system. Eliminate sugar, gluten, alcohol, beer, wine, as much as possible. Drink lots of water cause as the MRSA bacteria dies, you need water to flush out the dead bacteria. May God help us all to achieve good health and to praise Him.

For Ref: Chlorhexidine glucanate ("Hibicleanse") is sold at Walmart; it is sometimes kept behind the counter, so you ask for it of you can't find it... Prices are better when you buy the larger bottles (sometimes you have to order the larger bottles; it takes @ 3 days).

Prices (Feb 2012)

small, 4 oz bottle: $5.97

meduim, 8 oz bottle $8.37

large, 16 oz bottle $13.72

extra large: the pharmacists is checking for a better/wholesale price/source.

The pharmacists cautions against it for full-body use; she says be sure to use as little as possible! Read the Warning Lable carefully!!!

(PS: Just posting Walmart prices because it is most accessible nationwide)

Essential Oils for MRSA--Just want to share my experience with the skin infection. I got it a month ago after travelling. First, my skin was itchy, thaen I got boils that were spreding to my but. I did not know what it was and in such cases I apply grinded garlic to the area. This time garlic was helping with iching, but the infection was not healing.

Eucalyptus oil
>I started using Eucalyptus oil twice a day and saw the difference in about 2 days. Most of the boils disapeared. I kept applying the oil until I could not see the pimples (about 3 more days). Then I made the following mixture and applied it ti the area once or twice a day just to make sure the problem does not come back: 1/2 tsp of basic oil (olive or avocado for example) 5 drops of high quality Tea Tree oil 1 to 2 drops of Eucalyptus oil.

It is important to purchase high quality oils. I got mine from Switerland as I was staying abroad at that time. Swiss oils are the best oils in my experiance. In the USA there is a distributor of Swiss oils - essential oil collection.

PS when using Eucalyptus oil alone, I was not delluting it, but I know it should be dilluted as they say it can burn the skin. I used one drop on a cotton pad and then tuched up the area with it. But it would be better to dillute it a little.

MRSA Tools that will KILL this Monster which Refuses to die! Twice a Day.. Once in the morning and once before bed take 1 Tablespoon ACV with the mother in some tea of choice.. Add to that 1 half squeezed fresh lemon and as much cayenne pepper as one can stand.. And here is the MOST IMPORTANT add to that 1 Tablespoon MANUKA HONEY from NZ.. It must be UMF 18 or higher... 18 is usually powerful enough.. If there are also wounds or boils.. Clean them with cotton ball soaked in AVC then apply the 18 Manuka Honey on the wound or boil.. And a bandage...

I have also had Great Success applying a sulfur "Refining" mask from a well known acne treatment company in place of the manuka honey on the boil or wound.. Or crushed garlic can be used.. If your doctor will prescribe for you the Mupirocin Ointment USP 2% this is also speeds the process.. Use it on a q tip and put it inside the nose.. Be careful not to inhale it into your lungs as this can cause complications... I Promise this will Kill the MRSA but if not careful you can get it again.. Be careful by Not eating sugar or white flour.. MRSA feeds off sugar and white flour.. It loves these products and gains strength from them.. We are exposed to MRSA all the time and especially in hospitals..

Its so easy to become infected with MRSA the main things to focus on are... Manuka Honey 18 or Higher and Sulphur to kill the beast.. And AVC with the mother for the PH issues... So the body is able to fight it... Take the tea mixture twice a day until well.. If the nose begins to bleed from being dried out... Discontinue the manuka honey for a few days.. But continue drinking everything else until the moisture returns then add the manuka honey back in... Drink plenty of fluids through out the treatment.. THIS WORKS!!

Topical Application of Povidone Iodine

For a MRSA Boil, Povidone Iodine 10%. Does not in the least burn your skin. It is the #1 way to kill MRSA topically. Of course it will only kill the bacteria topically, but for the surface wound and area nearby it is the best solution. I mix 10% Povidone Iodine w/a couple drops of neem oil and a couple of drops of 91% straight alcohol together for a stronger disinfectant with better skin penetration. It helps control the growth, and will kill the MRSA bacteria topically in less than 15 seconds. I have tested this in a lab and used the formula on myself for years.

I have tried almost everything to cure my MRSA.

Silver Biotics, Oil of oregano, ACV, diet changes, coconut oil, oil pulling, turmeric, GSE, black strap molasses, baking soda, campho, holy basil, zinc supplements, fasting, liver cleanses, manuka honey, hibeclens, kefir (acidophilus), tea tree oil, neem oil, baby powder, loose clothing, no alcohol.

The two that I have found to help the MOST (keeping the size and swelling down) have been manuka honey and turmeric. But NOTHING has stopped/cured my MRSA. It is so frustrating and makes me quite sad to have to keep going through this. My boils are heavily concentrated on my bottom. I can get up to 20 at a time just on my bottom. Sometimes they go down the backs of my thighs, but they are very limited to where they pop up.

I feel discouraged and so horrified at all the scars on my bottom. What am I doing wrong here? I eat 80% raw organic vegetables (but 100% organic all the time) I avoid alcohol and sugars. I eat meat maybe once a month. I'm absolutely at a loss and would love some help.

I made a list of things I take internally for most infections-colloidal silver, oregano caps/oil, olive leaf-Roex, Bee Propolis,* *monolaurin*, caprylic acid, goldenseal, turmeric, *baking soda*, Grapefruit seed extract,*Iodine* drops or sea kelp, cayenne, garlic, apple cider vinegar, alkaline ph drops/baking soda.Cloves for gum ailments.

Mix bag balm or oatmeal for topical with tumeric, cayenne, camphor, colloidal silver, sea salt, honey, baking soda, tree tea oil, iodine-hydrogen peroxide, hot compresses.

This should do it. I take in place of antibiotic perscriptions for anything that ails me. I take after surgeries also. You can also make misters or put in your humidifier. There is hope!!! I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in late jan of this year. I then got a bad case of multiple painful MRSA boils in perineal and genital area from the colonoscopy. It was not promptly diagnosed by my doctor, so the boils grew for 10 days with no treatment. 3 had to be opened surgically and drained. one left a large deep wound on my buttock...I couldnt sit down for 2 weeks and had to have a visiting nurse come to pack the wound. I was hospitalized on IV vancomyacin 4 days after the MRSA diagnosis and lancing, then Zyvox for 10 days when i went home. the MRSA came back a month later in early March. 10 more days of Zyvox, it went away, then recently - a later after i stopped the antibiotic -- two more small boils showed up in genital area....MRSA again. needless to say, the antibiotics are not very effective long term, and have wreaked havoc on the colitis, killing off healthy intestinal flora and bringing back the colitis symptoms even tho I was mega dosing on high quality probiotics Critical Care Ultimate Flora 50 billion capsules by NewLife(200 billion organisms a day total which helped but the antibiotics still created diahrea). I do a lot of natural healing things, take a lot of supplements, but MRSA is really tough!! I am refusing to do more antibiotics this time with these new boils, and am just starting raw organic unfilterd apple cider and turmeric powder 3X a day to deal with this latest bout based on these recommendations here. A book that has helped me A LOT (and that also promotes apple cider vinegar, probiotics and kefir) is The Body Ecology Diet by donna Gates. A recurrent infection of any kind is often due to an overacidic body, allowing yeast to flourish as well as harmful bacteria which taxes the immune system weakening it so it cant fight the MRSA. I am alkalizing my body using THE Body Ecology Diet. IF YOU HAVE RECURRENT MRSA, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ THIS BOOK AND IMPLEMENT SOME OF THE SUGGESTIONS!!! I have only been doing it for less than 2 weeks and it has already resolved the colitis symptoms (in spite of the multiple antibiotic rounds and in spite of my GI doctor saying it would take 6 weeks IF I were taking the anti-inflammatory drugs which im not). I had a massive yeast die off and I am feeling so much better. I believe with this book plus the turmeric I will finally beat the MRSA for good! I also suggest for those with really recurrent MRSA to consult a good herbalist as there are several herbs that are very potent antifungal/antibacterial and they can be applied topically and made into a tea. It is the western medical systems over use of antibiotics that created this monster, and while antibiotics might be a good short term tool, in my opinion you need to get at the underlying condition in your body that is allowing to come back again and again.

Are their other members in your immediate household? Often times reoccurent cases can be traced to other household members, such as children and spouses that can harbor the bacteria and me immune to it and end up unwitingly being dangerous carriers. Infectious Disease expert consult would likely be a good idea for every member of your household. Everyone you frequently come into close contact with reguarly should be looked at closely as being a potential carrier. Also, if you have a cat and have long term MRSA put your cat outside. Pets can be silent carriers, especially cats. Try cleaning your nose out with iso-blu twice a week and taking a bath with 1/4 cup (measured exactly) of bleach added into your bath water. This will help keep the bacteria count down on your skin which will lead to less infections. Also look into how you launder your clothes more carefully. The most important thing to pay attention too is frequent use of hand sanitizer, and changing your bed sheets every 2 days. Every 48 hrs!! This is a must. People with MRSA spend more time in bed, and this is the place most likely to be the cause of re-occuring infections. Bacteria from the bed sheets. 1 single MRSA bacteria cell can multiply into the millions in just 8 hours, this is how fast the bacteria replicate. Change your bed sheets every 48 hours and change your clothes daily, and keep your skin covered as much as possible with a light amount of clothing. Wear long sleeves and pants and keep all of your skin covered, protected and properly moisturized. These tips will help tremendously to cut down on your amount of preventable frequent re-occuring infections.

I feel I contracted MRSA from a hot tub. I was going through some stress at the time, and I was not eating healthy at the time. I tried many, many things, and this is what I have discovered for myself. RAW HONEY mixed with TURMERIC makes the best paste to put on any MRSA wound. Cover it with a bandage. Raw honey is a miracle! It contains so many enzymes that it can heal any rash or sore when nothing else works. I learned this from personal experience. Take all white flour and sugar out of your diet while you are trying to heal, including alcohol drinks. Try to keep your PH balance by alkalizing with 1 T. Raw apple cider vinegar and 1/4 t. Baking soda (good quality from health food section) mixed with nice cold water. Once in morning and night. Taste like plain seltzer water. Be patient! Everyday keep putting on a mixture of raw honey mixed with turmeric on wound, and it will start healing. Start building up your immune system and eat healthy, no white flour, no sugar, stay away from real sweet fruit, such as bananas and grapes while you are trying to heal. This is from my own personal experience.

It is now 2020, and I am healthy and well. I was able to clear up MRSA, using raw honey & turmeric, along with diet changes. Removing sugar & white flour which feeds MRSA.

I find that if I go through any stress, such as moving or a new job, it starts to surface. So I immediately get strict and stick to a paleo diet.

I start alkalizing, using 1T. Lime or lemon juice in water, with 1/2 tsp. Baking soda, twice a day. It taste like a sparkling water.

There have been times, that the MRSA is in my nose. I discovered a silver cream, that is used on wounds, that I put on a q-tip And apply it in my nostril. It clears up in just a few days. I have used this same silver cream on MRSA sores, and it also works really well, as well as the RAW HONEY & TURMERIC paste.

I can say with confidence, that I cured myself, and I am enjoying life. MRSA is everywhere on shopping carts, on many surfaces, it is important to get your immune system strong again.

On open sores, it is important to cover with a bandage and seal around it, using silver cream or raw honey & turmeric paste.

Hello Everyone! I have suffered twice from MRSA, both times contracted from a Doctor's clinic/hospital while being examined for something else. My husband also got it, from tending to my MRSA as directed by my Doctor. These horribly painful boils began as small pimples that grew quickly to angry purple lemon sized lumps. The 1st time I was treated with very expensive antibiotics ($2K) for MRSA, but antibiotics did not stop it the second time. In less than 2 months from the 1st attack, I ended up in surgery. Had to use a wound vac for 30 days afterward. The MRSA infection was within 1/2" of my aorta when surgical intervention was deemed necessary to save my life. Yes, I know much about MRSA. Or at least I thought I did. Always something new to learn, tho. Yesterday I itched at what I thought was a bug bite on my chest. Looked down to see that awful sight: a pimple. Carefully felt to see how big. A small amount of pus leaked out of the pea sized lump. Now, I had found Earth Clinic after the second MRSA attack. Had read about ground Turmeric & MRSA here. Last night I mixed some fresh Turmeric with just enough 100% Aloe Vera gel to make a paste about the thickness of honey. I painted the erupting boil, already painful & the size of a grape, with this mixture. The area was then covered with a large nonstick bandage & taped closed. I expected either a huge pussy drainage or a trip to the hospital in the morning, but managed to drift off to sleep. During the night sometime, I woke because of a strange tingling sensation. Resisted Temptation to itch or check under the bandage, and went back to sleep. This morning I am absolutely astounded! No drainage. No pus. No pimple. No boil. No MRSA. No itching. No pain. The only indication that there ever was any problem is a very tiny small hole where the pus leaked out yesterday. The Turmeric over the hole was of a different texture. Much drier, kind of hardened, and a little tough to wash off. This awesome home remedy is soooooo difficult for me to believe! It cost me less than 50 cents and about 10 minutes to try this simple cure. I must make sure MRSA has really taken a hike! So, today I will begin to drink Turmeric Tea as suggested.

Tonight I will repeat Turmeric Aloe gel = paste, and bandage. I am in tears of confused joy right now. Really. Earth Clinic, my husband & I are forever grateful to all of you! From our hearts to yours: Yay!

I used 2 Tablespoons of Turmeric and 5 Tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil and 5 Tablespoons raw honey, a few years ago. I would take it internally and put it directly on the site of infection about 3 or 4 times a day as needed for pain and swelling and then soak in hot baths or hot wash rags for pain and swelling as well.

I want to say that the info on the site is extremely helpful. Turmeric definitely works for MRSA, as does the grapefruit seed extract, and if you have heard of curcumin, it is amazing with three capsules a day. But it wasn't until I cut the bread and sugar out of my diet that I really saw the difference. I started to add banannas to my diet thinking it would be ok(too many- 3 a day) and it gave me a breakout within 30 hours, so apparently fruit raises the sugar in the body? I would love to hear some feedback.

Yes, usually fruits contain lots of sugar. I'm not sure about banannas, but from what I've read on other websites you should avoid fruit. On the other side of the barricade we have dark green vegetables that seem help.

I picked up a nasal staph infection at my mother's nursing home after she tested positive (twice) for MRSA. After 2.5 months of trying to kill the sore in my nostril, (and the irritation restarting every couple of days, and taking two rounds of antibiotics), I finally got serious about finding a natural option.

At this point, I found your site and called a pharmacist friend of mine who said to apply good quality turmeric. Knowing that aloe vera is anti-staph, I used the gel as a base. First, I'd dip a Q-tip into the gel and then the turmeric, and then applied it to each nostril. For the sinuses, I used GSE nasal spray (actually, I bought an additional bottle of the liquid, and added a few more drops to the nasal spray, just to make sure). I sprayed and blew a many times a day for 2 weeks. I needed to be consistent because no matter what I tried, it kept coming back. It seems to be gone now, thankfully and it's been five months now. What a relief!

Also, I am SO grateful for your site and for giving hope to people, when all other options have failed them. Thank you, thank you, thank you...!

MRSA Treatment -- I just wanted to help others that have contracted MRSA by telling them what worked for me:

People seem to think that MRSA only happens in hospitals and unclean environments - think again. I'm clean, and I'm healthy. I am a professional athlete, and I contracted MRSA somehow after I fell and injured myself (road rash). I noticed I started developing a boil on my arm. It just got bigger and bigger, until my whole lower arm started to swell. I went to the ER and got a shot of antibiotics - the swelling started going down. When I got home, I went to my dr. and had the boil swabbed - tested postive for MRSA. I was prescribed 10 days of Bactrim and Bactroban antibiotic. The boil cleared up, but less than a month later I broke out with boils again. The prescribed antibiotic did not help. After reading Earthclinic, I tried the following things, and have not had an outbreak since. Turmeric (oral), Manuka Honey (oral and on the boils), Tea tree oil (nostrils and boils), and Grapefruit Seed Extract (oral). I have discontinued use of everything except the GSE - I still take 5 drops daily. For those of you reading this - don't be discouraged - take care of your body, be vigilant and you can defeat this.

Ultraviolet blood irradiation has been around for about 100 years but fell by the wayside when antibiotics came around. Naturopaths still use it in the U,S. My naturopath said it would cure me in a few treatments but I have some puss that needs clearing up, so it's taking longer. I do feel a million times better when I go in. I was going to wait to post this until I was cured but decided to post.

SETH,,,,,,, we do UBI instead of flu shots. This year we got our Integrative doctor to mix our blood with H202 and he was amazed how red our blood turned. Sad that us Rednecks have to teach our doctors. We read and they don't.

Right now I have no clue if my Cardiologist will do my EECP or not. It will be off label and subject him to an FDA audit. He is spooked as all doctors are. I understand, but we are a sick, corrupt nation. It's only about $$$$$$$.

Nothing has helped my terrible case of mrsa more than urine therapy..I treat myself inside and out with it .I use other natural cures as well like garlic probiotic vitamin c essential oils h2o2 ect..but nothing I have found has made the anxiety and depression go away but urine. It also stops mrsa pain instantly and nothing kills a mrsa boil faster than urine..I drink it, I bathe in it, I soak my infection in it nothing has helped me more..

I find raw living garlic in tangent with urine works best I pee in an old glass pickle jar let it sit all day sometimes several days then crushed raw garlic added to it to soak and clean infection it works better than anything else I've tried..

If you are fighting mrsa I highly recommend it.

USA MRSA Epidemics

Posted by Brenda (Camden, Tn) on 08/14/2009

Please do another survey on MRSA. Been fighting it for 2 months and have been told by numerous medical personel that it is almost a epidemic here in West TN. I also have Lupus that seems to make it harder to get it cleared up. Thank you for you advice I am goiing to try the Natural way because the other is NOT working.

Is there a link between MRSA and Lupus?

Vitamin C is how I have been keeping MRSA at bay. A life saver. I take 2000-3000 mg a day. I also make sure I get at least 7 hrs of sleep a night and am trying to keep my stress level low. If I get a bump of any kind I put a band aid with triple antibiotic on it and increase the vitamin C dose to 6000-8000 per day. Your body does not store it but your stomach will tell you when you have had enough. I use the powdered one that you put in water and have had little trouble. This works well because I just make sure it is in my water bottle at all times when I have an outbreak. The outbreaks come when I let things slide and try to run on 5 hours of sleep or quit taking the' vitamin C . I have done quite a bit of research on MRSA/Staph and it's all about your immune system. Stands to reason that if you build up your immune system so your body can fight off the infection it will do just that. Seems to be working great!

Hi I have had bacteria from the hospital in a cyst on my bottom tooth. Since feb 2009. The bacteria was put into my body when I went to the hospital for a check for gluten. this was in may 2008. The doctor gave me amoxen and doxycline but the cyst just grew bigger. I saw a gum specialist but he wanted to remove 13 teeth which were not loose. The doctor sent me back to dentists who just wanted my tooth removed. I eventually found that 3 antiboitis worked to remove the cyst amoxen doxycline and ermine.

I went to the hospital for help when I became sick but the dentists also told the hospital not to help me. So I have a cyst on my tooth with bacterial.

I take 24000 of vitamin c every day to protect my organs.

I developed shingles on my brain and on my eyes because of this cyst. Stress makes me worse but vitamin C really works. I take over 40 different health products morning and night but the bacterial does not die.

In August 2011 the bacteria went onto my finger. My finger was in a terrible mess so eventually the doctors gave me the 3 antiboitics for 4 weeks. But pathlab did a culture and just said it was a yeast infection. The dentists have really got hold of so many so I cant get this cyst sorted out.

I bought antiboitics from america but new zealand took them. I went to the hospital for the 3 antiboitics as my eyes are now affected again with shingles. I saw the man who was so against me and he told me not to come back to the hosptial.

So I drink black tea which keeps my blood from getting too bad from the bacteria. The cyst on my tooth is pain less but the bacteria still comes out into my body when I am stressed. The three antiboitics together work to kill the mrsa bacteria.

I have a very allergic body and I can't take any pain killers I used to use doxycline for pain but the doctors refuse to give me any more.

So I use feverfew but doxycline is better. The mrsa bacteria has now gone onto another finger so I will try using natural things.

Good health to you all

vonni

Hi Vonnii, Quite a few people have had success with Turmeric for MRSA so I would be starting there.

Hi Maria, Go to youtube & look for liposomal vit c, it is self explanatory & you will then see what a wonderful product it is.

Vonnii, I can't help but reply as you sure do seem deep into the muck of it right now. I too have had my share of negatives associated w/ illness.

One thing I've been hinting lately here on E.C. is the power of not "one" agent, drug, nutrient, treatment, protocol, but a variety and combinations of things as the BEST option especially in severe cases.

There are many ways to support the immune system, Vit-C is good, but C alone is not enough. Consider Zinc/VitA loading, Iodine loading. Raw Thymus Glandular, Immune boosting herbs and mushrooms, Colloidal Silver (gargle, and drink), MMS.

Hope this helps and report any progress.

I believe that iodine kills MRSA. You could take it internally and apply the iodine directly to the affected areas externally on your body. If you take it internally you need to also take vitamin c, selenium and magnesium. If it is not MRSA, iodine will kill yeast as well so it should work.

For the shingles in your eyes, I would try colloidal silver and use it as an eye wash or get a dropper and put one or two drops in your eyes to see how that works.

I would stop the antibiotics you are taking because antibiotics will kill the good bacteria in your body and that will not help your situation, probably worsen it. To offset the damage the antibiotics are doing to you, you will need to take a probiotic for a couple of weeks. Taking 3 antibiotics at once is not good (my opinion anyway).

Spirulina and chlorella are good for blood cleansing so I would also try that. Vitamin C is also good to take.

Hi Louwrence (from Rustenburg), Have had a quick look, very interesting. The one I found requires a sonic cleaner, do you know a method that does not need one to make it? I have seen liposomal vit c mentioned here before but have known nothing about it. Thanks

Hi Maria, Sorry that is the only way to make liposomal vit c, the sonic cleaner costs about $40

Hi Maria - Regarding your question about needing to use an ultrasonic cleaner for making lioposomal Vitamin C, someone has posted a recipe using an immersion (stick) blender with good results.

Here's the link:

http://www.hawkeshealth.net/community/showthread.php?t=6456

It doesn't get the particles as small as the ultrasonic, but it might be good enough. Hope it works for you. Cheers, Bess

Hi Vonni You might try Grapefruit Seed Extract for your tooth. I had abcessed root filled teeth for years and it always worked. (NOT grape seed - different thing) GSE is a natural anti-biotic and won't destroy the gut flora like the pharmaceutical kind you are taking.

You don't have multiple problems - you just have a body that is overloaded with toxins and it's complaining in many ways. The doctors tend to treat each thing separately rather than your overall health so you must do for yourself.

Best suggestion would be, try the GSE for infections and supplement with vitamin B complex because the antibiotics will have depleted you. You must also take some probiotics to replace the gut flora or you'll have a problem with fungal infections which you don't need.

Do a detox. That means eating food that doesn't make your body work hard to digest as it's already working overtime to fight infections. Make veg soup and puree it in a blender like baby food. This way your stomach doesn't work so hard to break it down. If you can get a juicer then drink raw fruit and vegetable juices; They have all the vitamins and minerals your body needs plus protein and, because they haven't been heated, retain enzymes which means easy absorbtion. Also, this way you can take more nourishment without getting full up. You will need some fibre so have oatmeal or oatbran for breakbast as that de-toxifies. As much as you can, avoid dairy foods, gluten in bread, cakes etc. Anything with additives, caffeine, alcohol, sugar, strong spices and most meat. Fats are hard work for your digestion so no fried stuff. A little chicken is OK or fresh fish and as much raw fruit and veg as you wish. (There are ideas and instructions for juicing on Doctoryourself. Com, a non-commercial website)

Make sure your bowels work properly and every day. If needed use a natural laxative like senna or psyllium husks.

Get enough sleep and, since you sound stressed, if you have trouble relaxing then check out the Magnesium section on this site. Taking a 20 minute soak in a bath with Epsom Salts (magnesium sulphate) allows your body to absorb the magnesium without having to digest tablets and also draws out toxins. The sulphur in it also softens the skin beautifully.

Get some exercise or at least do some deep breathing in the fresh air several times a day.

Keep taking the Vitamin C and get of the meds as soon as possible. When you are feeling a bit better you should do a cleanse to get all the remnants of old medications and other toxins out of the system but I'm sure you can find ways to do that on Earth Clinic. The Apple Cider Vinegar is a good start.

You didn't say which tooth has the cyst. If it's in the front it would be especially tough to lose but you must consider it may be inevitable. That and the meds have been poisoning you for three years now and making you miserable. Believe me, I know how you feel. Poor treatment started by Health Service dentists compounded by later private treatment has left me with some very expensive gaps in my mouth. Unfortunately Socialised Medicine and dentistry leads to lowering of standards in the private sector of both professions.

Most important of all, have faith that you can heal. Isn't this a great site? Take care of yourself. Nickie
