lemon/olive oil cure

Woke up last week and discovered blood in my urine. No pain but the copious blood was startling. Two days later woke up with severe pain in left lower back. Found myself hyperventilating and exhibiting diaphoresis. At this point knew I had a stone, the pain was similar to what I experienced before passing a stone in 1989. The pain was unbearable, I resorted to drinking several litres of purified water, but only passed blood tinged liquid.

Finally I passed two rice sized particles, did not think they were stones since they did not look at all like what I excreted in 1989. Immediately felt better but was still passing lots of blood urinating. Woke up on day three of this ordeal with serious back pain and the inability to void. Desperate, went to this site and started taking the olive oil/lemon juice concoction. Retired to the bed for two and a half hours, felt a "kick" in my lower back. Went to the toilet and voided three more rice size particles. Pain returned, unfortunately, and tried another four ounces of the "cure". Had to urinate an hour later and passed two more rice sized granules. This time, however, there was no blood in the urine! Felt immediate relief which has lasted until today - a week later. Still voiding normally and am optimistic that I've dodged another bullet, or at least a stone! Good luck to my fellow sufferers, give this remedy a try, I'll be eternally grateful I looked up this site on the internet.

My husband was recently suffering from a kidney stone. The doctor said it was 5mm and needed to be removed via surgery. It had been stuck between his kidney and bladder for two weeks. He only suffered pain on two of those days, but when he did it was very intense.

In an effort to avoid sugery, and the cost associated with it, we turned to home remedies. First we tried the 2 oz. olive oil with 2 oz. lime juice. He took this about 3 or 4 times a day for two days. On the third day we added a mixture of 2 tbls. of olive oil, the juice of a 1 inch piece of fresh aloe, and 4 or 5 chunks of fresh pineapple. We blended it together and he drank it twice a day. This is a remedy his mother suggested that is used in her native country, El Salvador.

On the third day of using the olive oil and lime juice, and just one day after starting the Salvadorean home remedy, my husband passed his stone without pain. It was just like the other people on this website reported. We couldn't be happier with the outcome!

I have been suffering from kidney stones for 14 years! My first one occurred while I was pregnant with my first child, and then more came thereafter. I take Magnesium daily and my urologist prescribed another medication, but I still have stones in my kidneys. One stone on my left side decided to make a move. So, here I am several months later. The past week the pain has been pretty bad, along with spasms. The stone has made its way down to the opening of my urethra, but will not come out! I decided to try the two most popular remedies from this site when I found it. I first tried the apple cider vinegar, because I didn't have any olive oil. Nothing really happened with it, except for a severe tummy ache! The second day my wonderful husband got some olive oil and I drank that concoction (I must say it went down a whole lot smoother than the ACV!). I'm still having a little bit of discomfort and spasms in my kidney. Third day....another dose of olive oil and lemon juice. I can feel the stone wanting to come out! I'm wondering if it will with it being so low? Will the olive oil and lemon juice still work on it? Help! I'm almost ready to go to the doctor....

I learned a long time ago from Lee DuBelle that you must drink a lot of apple juice to soften stones before you try to pass them. If you have an active infection from the stone, you should take Vitamin C to bowel tollerance or enough to create a fever in order to fight off the infection as well. The apple juice softens the stones to cotton batton like consistency and they pass easily that way. I went to the emergency room once with a kidney stone and after that I researched natural ways to pass the stones. Whenever I feel one coming on, I simply drink as much unsweetened apple juice as I can (organic raw is best but any works) until the stone and gracel from forming stones pass.

I ended up in my urologist's office the next day. I could no longer stand the pain. I have always passed all of my stones (several, I might add). This one was lodged in my ureter and it was the size of a small butterbean(1.5 cm). I went in for lithotripsy the next day. I was in horrific pain immediately following the procedure, but I am much better now. I will probably try the lemon juice and olive oil remedy again, but will only do it if I feel pain in my kidney.

Yea! This is the second time I have had to use the lemon juice/olive oil mixture. I used ita couple of years ago and passed several stones. I started having problems a few weeks ago with stones and started using the mixture again. I think I have passes 4 or 5 stones this time on my right side. I must be getting used to the pain because it doesn't hut as bad as my first one more than 15 years ago. It seems like I have a problem about every two years or so. I am going to drink a mixture of the lemon juice/olive oil once a week just to keep myself cleaned out.

I have been wondering this very same thing: since I know I have numerous stones in each kidney, I am contemplating trying to purge all of them with this method if possible. When you say you passed several stones using this, was it painful? Did you need pain meds? Did it take longer to pass stones that were still in your kidney than ones that had already dropped down? Couldn't they get stuck, block each other, coming down the ureter?

Found out I had a small stone in each kidney 1 1/2 weeks ago (4-5mm). I 've had them before over the last 10 years or so... even to the point of 3 lithotripsies. It seems that each time I have a stone I look online to see if there is anything new. I've fallen for a couple of miracle treatments that supposedly "DISSOLVE STONES INSTANTLY"!. I prefer using a natural means of dealing with them, all in an effort to avoid another lithtripsy (or worse). I hear so many conflicting remedies, and am hoping to someday find the one that works for me. My doctor wants me back in for an x-ray in about 3 weeks or so to see what and where. I decided to try the lemon juice/olive oil (only have evoo right now) and can't say that there's been any change yet. I have some pain and darkened urine at times, but... I plan to stay with it at least until the doctor's visit. I'm also doing a mixture of unfiltered organic apple juice/hydrangea root, marchmallow root, ginger root, uva ursa, which I drink about a cup of 4 times a day (along with a lot of water). Seems to make me feel better and definitely keeps urine flowing . Last night before bed I gulped down about 2 ounces each freshly squeezed lemon juice/evoo and this morning I woke up not feeling that great. Strained my urine and found what looked like mucous of some kind, not a stone?! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and what it might be.

Olive Oil & Lemon Juice for kidney stones: A resounding Yea for this remedy. I woke up early 4th of July morning with excruciating pain in my right side and my back. I knew it was a kidney stone passing because I had them twice before. Waited until 6am to wake my husband up and take me to the ER. They took CT scan and confirmed 3mm kidney stone at the edge of my bladder (and another one in the kidney). They gave me IV pain meds in the ER and Flomax to open the uriter (tube leading into bladder). They gave me a prescription for oxycodone for pain. When I went home I waited until 3pm to take the oxy. but mistakenly took the Flomax again (its supposed to be only once a day). Realized this at 4pm when the pain was not subsiding at all. Took the oxycodone but then went to the web to see if there was anything I could take to help this all along as long as I had overmedicated on the Flomax. I saw the olive oil and lemon juice and decided to try it. My husband mixed 2 oz. light olive oil (not EVOO) with 2 oz. freshly-squeezed lemon juice and put it in a small jar. That was good so I could remix it before I took each sip. Finished that (held my breath while drinking) and then drank 10 oz. of purified bottled water (which I got from a health food store). I laid down and went to sleep until 6pm. I woke up, went downstairs, smiled at my husband for the first time since this episode started and then had a sudden urge to urinate. I saved my urine so I could strain it. It came out really fast, hard and a lot (not like the little bits from earlier in the day). When I strained it, lo and behold my kidney stone was in the bottom of the strainer. Oh happy day!! So bottom line, it took 1 1/2 hours to pass the stone after drinking the olive oil and lemon juice. Now keep in mind, the stone was just at the edge of the bladder so all it needed was a "push." I firmly believe this remedy is what did that. This is my third stone. The first one passed in about 5 hours and the second one took 5 days. So all in all, this one passed pretty quickly. P.S. The stone was the size of a beebee and had a pointy hook on it. Big yea for this remedy. Thank you all. I will definitely use this when the next one pops out (ugh!)

I finished reading your comments and mixed up the 2 ounces of extra virgin olive oil and the Lemon Juice...it went down so smoothly. I don't know if this will work, but I am willing to give it a try...I got the diagnosis of a kidney stone on June 30th and I have not been able to move it...I figure, what hurt can I do with the olive oil and lemonjuice...I just pray that it leaves...I will let you know what happens.

Remedy for kidney stones: 2 oz lemon juice + 2 oz olive oil, followed by 10 oz water.

I am 24 year old male PhD student. I had a kidney stone 6 years ago. I was diagnosed with a 4 mm kidney stone about 10 days ago, in my left kidney. It was quiet for a week and then a week later when trying to pass into the bladder, started creating problems and hurting like hell. I had to take hydrocodone to relieve my pain. Luckily stumbled into this website and for some reason believed that it will work.Tried the remedy once a day for 2 days. Unlike many others who stopped getting pain after they took the concoction, my case was different. I still got pain during the night and had to resort to the pain killer. On follow up, the doctor told me that I had two days to pass the stone otherwise he would refer me to a urologist. The third day, I tried the remedy twice, once in the day and once before going to bed. Still, no change and I got pain during the night. I was a pretty disappointed and thought I should give up on it. The fourth night, I mixed about 2.5 oz of each ingredients and drank them one hour before I went to bed. I had also walked a lot that day, that also helps. I had the best possible sleep, didnt even wake up once, no pain at all during the night. When I woke up at around 8 and peed through the strainer, there it was! The 4 mm stone was out!!Thank you Earth clinic and thank you everyone for sharing their experience. I am really grateful to everyone in this forum and the person who suggested this remedy :)

I have a 4.8 mm kidney stone stuck in my kidney for the last 18 months. It doesn't cause pain, but causes discomfort. Lemon juice and olive oil remedy (about 8 dosages) didn't get it out. I am wondering if it is not calcium oxlate stone, but it could be struvite stone? I haven't had an UTI infection, so not sure if my stone could be struvite. However, I read that to dissolve the struvite stones, the urine has to be acidified. Does anyone know if lemon juice acidifies the urine? Same with ACV? Thanks for any input.

Lemon is an alkalizer. I do not understand this, but if you use litmus paper on your urine you can see this (available at health food stores.) Try apple juice for an acid basis--I know it works on galls stones. Chris

I was diagnosed with 6mm stones which may is likely non-calcium as it doesnt show up in x-ray but only on CT scan. I have not experience pain and it believe the stone has been around for a while. Will the Olive oil and lemon juice work?

YEA, it works!!!! I've been in constant pain for 2 weeks, w/ one trip to the ER as I couldn't keep anything down, Not even pain killers. I've been scared that it was too big to pass, as I was told it is 3 cm, about 1". Called today and found it's 3 mm, about 1/8". Nurse had "misspoke" the size while reading the CT report. So I tried to pass/dissolve w/ this formula. I started at midnight as I could take the pain no longer.

I took the 2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil blended w/ 2 oz Fresh Lemon juice @ room temp. {it blended nice & smooth} Went DOWN OK & stayed w/ only a mild feeling of nausea. So I laid down to let it work drinking small sips of warm water to clear the oily taste from my mouth. After 15/20 minutes I felt a "warm" feeling go thru my kidneys and the PAIN started to dispel. In one hour the pain was GONE. At 1:30 I could stay awake no longer & went to sleep. The first time I slept thru till morning in weeks, PAIN FREE.

Breakfast as usual, oatmeal w/ honey & cinamon, was really enjoyed w/o the pain. Noon that day I really had to pee Bad and I caught a small white "thing" about 1.5 mm. Soft thing that I squished into the strainer. Stone ??? I don't know. BUT the terrible Pain is Gone!!!! I said "terrible" I am NOT pain free. It feels like I have been "Roto rooted" thruout the kidney area. Probably from that "thing" pulling free for weeks. SOOO, I will take another "dose" of Extra Virgin Olive Oil tonight just to make sure. It will be 48 hour since the first set as I find it hard to believe this can be healthy doing very often. (though if the PAIN came back I might do it oftener}

THANKS for the website and tips.

Hints:: Fresh Squeezed Lemons may have properties the are helpful. Everything at Room Temp makes it go down easier and stay down. {microwave may change propeties} Brisk Blend & Drink from the blender & it goes down easy. One Gulp and don't hold in your mouth.

Room temp. water helps keeps it down, cold water may spasm stomach & bring it up. I took this on an empty stomach!??? May have worked better, faster ???? I'm a fair size person 200#, 2 0z worked for me, you may need more or less per size??? I have Galbladder stones and they stayed strangely quiet thru the cure ???? Now, 36 hrs into the cure they are starting to rumble again. Hence, 2nd time around cure encouragement, maybe, just maybe it'll help them. Will I do this again??? YES daily if necessary!!! If you are in PAIN try it !!!!!!

I am 25 and have had kidney stones since I was 18. I recently had a urinary tract infection for which I was taking antibiotics. Well, a week after I was done with the medicine, I felt some similar symptoms coming back. I thought it was just another UTI. The next day I started having pain in my lower back on the left side. Of course, having kidney stones, I knew what was to come. I had lost my job the week earlier, thinking my insurance had been cancelled, I went online to see if there was a home remedy I could try. Then, I found this website. Of course, I was thinking there was no way this could work, but after reading one success story after another, I thought I would at least give it a try. I mixed 2 oz of lemon juice with 2 oz of extra virgin olive oil together with a wisk, then poured it into a shot glass so it would be easier to drink. I had to hold my nose to drink it, and the after taste was horrible. I didn't have a stomach ache like a lot of people had said. I continued to have some slight pain in my back. I took some ibuprofen and that helped while I was waiting (and hoping) for the lemon juice to work it's magic. That was 2 days ago. This morning I woke up, feeling much better than I have in the past couple of days. I went to the bathroom for my morning pee, but it was just normal. About an hour later, I was taking a shower and washing the privates, and felt something rolling around.(I know it sounds gross) I looked at it and it looked like a little brown stone. I made sure to save it, and after I got out of the shower and got online to see what they actually looked like. I had never actually seen the ones I pased before. It looked exactly like the pictures. I am a firm believer that the lemon juice and olive oil worked for me. I will deffinetely be using this from now on. I still had a small bit of pain, but nothing like what is usually accompanied by the passing of a kidney stone. This really does work, I am so glad I found this site.

Lemon Juice & Olive oil:

Last week I had trouble urinating. I had to go frequently but little came out. About every 2 min. I waited the night through and woke up with a pain in my lower back. I went through the day with tylonol and searched for the closest clinic late that night. They were all closed except for the E.R. I chose to wait it out till morning. I again woke up with excruciating pain in my lower back and side as well as lower abdominal pain. I also was still having trouble urinating properly. I went into the doctor and did lab work on my urine. The doctor said that I definatly have kidney stones with all the symptoms that I had. I don't have health care so I elected to not get the CT scan done therefore I do not know the quantity or size of my stones. He gave me oxycodones for pain and I would have to pass them on my own. The pain killers worked wonders during the painful experience but it had been nine days and only blood had come out. I then started to read this article about home remedies. I seen that everyone on here or atleast about 85% of the people had success from the lemon and olive oil. So I mixed up 2oz. of lemon juice and 2oz. of olive oil and poured about half of it in a shot glass and took it down. I had pain still for about five hours and a new stomach pain that was in a new place and it hurt really bad now too. After five hours the pain all went away and I was just waitng till it came back like it had all ten days. I went through the night without pain and finally in the morning when I woke up that is when the pain had been the worst I had none. That was today and I am amazed by how it worked that I am still waiting for the pains to kick back in. But for now I am so happy I found this site.

Thanks so much for everone who posts their feedback it really gave me the courage to test my skepisism. I hope that I am cured. Thanks!

Yes it WORKS!

I had an MRI done and it showed Gall stones and my Doc was ready to remove them. I was very skeptical about the lemon juice and olive oil. But it worked, you can see emerald green stones.

Start in the morning and drink lot of apple juice (softens the stones so they can pass). Don't eat meat or any fat. Eat only fruit and vegetables. It is recommended not to eat anything after 2:00p.m.

At 6:00p.m.:
Add 1 Tbsp. of Epsom salt to an 8 oz. glass of water and drink. (I add cranberry-apple juice to cut the metallic flavor.)

At 8:00p.m.:
Repeat the Epsom salt and water drink.

10:00p.m.:
Add 1/2 Cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice to 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Drink and go to bed. Lay on your right side with you knees tucked (fetal position). Stay in bed as long as possible.

In the morning:
Repeat the Epsom salt and water drink. You will have diarrhea somtime during the day after your flush. Look in your stool and you can see them.

After cleanse:
eat simple after the cleanse- like potato, chicken noodle soup etc. but no fried foods.
This was an answer to my prayers and a God send. Hope it helps.

My doctor said I have a 2mm kidney stone and I took the olive oil and lemon juice starting yesterday. I have had 2 doses of it so far. Just now when I went to urinate in the strainer there was what I would call white mush (so sorry to be graphic), sadly I didn't save it and it got down the sink-could someone please email me and tell me if this is my kidney stone disolving? I would love to hear from anyone that has had this experience. PLEASE email me, instead of responding to this board. I am new to this site, and I don't know how to get to my post to see my responses. I hope to hear from some of you, thanks Keri

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hi- I'd like to give a "Yeah" on this 2 oz. lemon juice and 2 oz.olive oil thing with a severe caution and possible correction. I was past 48 hours of a horrible kidney stone case and so I found this home remedy on the 3rd evening. As soon as I mixed 4 ounce mixture and drank it I felt really 'full'. Later it became kind of gaseous and horrible and after 1 or 1 1/2 hrs I deliberately 'expelled' the rest of this heavy mixture. The "Yeah" part is that the next morning when I woke up the kidney stone was gone, thank goodness!! But, I was left with 2 days of the worst stomach you could possibly imagine and 'expelled' more of this heavy mixture here and there on it's own. So how about backing off to 1 or 2 TBS of each, instead of oz? Please be careful as the remedy was just about as bad as the condition and I felt it my deed to warn you as I wouldn't wish as stomach ache like this on my worst enemy, if I had one!
