Raw tomatoes and I don't get along. Not sure why. I'm going to grow my own this year, organic-style. See if it's something added. Apparently, they mess with organic produce, after the fact, as well. Technically, they're GROWN organically but what happens to them after that is anybody's guess.

New to this site! A lot of posts re Lycopene? I have two tomatoes in my salad every evening, but am experiencing pain in my legs! This apparently is caused by the lectins in the core and skin

I have switched now to canned whole peeled tomatoes, and the leg pains have decreased markedly.

It is also worth noting that "force fed " tomatoes have a larger core and thicker skin.
