This website is great, thank you all so much for your comments and advice - without it I'd be in a lot of pain. The baking soda trick does work for me most of the time - but some days the pain does creep back. I find driving quite painful if I'm driving on a bumpy road - I try and drive as slowly as possible without annoying other drivers but it's not always possible. Does anyone else get this? I have ordered some cayenne and ginger capsules and I'm looking forward to trying those. The trouble with this condition, for me, is that every day is different. One day I can feel really fine - 9 out of 10 and the next day I'm back to 3 out of 10. Sometimes it's not obvious to me what I've done to make things worse. It makes it hard for my family because they never know what sort of mood I'll be in when they get home! I try and stay positive but it's sometimes really hard to snap out of a "feeling sorry for myself" mood.
Please keep all the advice coming - it is such a help and I hope that one day I'll be able to offer some helpful advice myself!
EC: Hi Charlotte, would you please tell us what ailment you are treating? Rheumatoid Arthritis? Fibromyalgia? Thanks!
Apple Cider Vinegar

I have used ACV for 4 days now, 3 x daily as I read on your site. I do not see any difference in my hip or body pain so far. Is it too early or should I try something else. The pain keeps me up at night alot, and I have trouble walking. Help

2 Years ago I went for a flu shot. The day after that I was in severe pain, (I could not walk) but only in the right side of my body. My muscles are in constant spasm from my neck, shoulder, upper arm, ribs, back muscle, my hip, buttock, knee and lower leg. No pain medication seems to work. Some days it feels if there is bubbles under my skin and also sharp pains in head and shoulder. I also suffer from severe IBS and insomnia.
The docters here diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and I am tested positive for the Epstein barr virus.
No medications seems to work. I came across earth clinic's site and started with the apple cider, baking soda and borax mixture and although it is only 4 day now, the pain is a bit better. The only side effect that I noticed is puffy eyes.
Otherwise I am in good health.
I would like to find out if there is anything that you can recommend.

Hi I just wanted to say that I have experienced a lot of physical pain, especially hip pain. Am always trying to find relief. MSM is amazing but I have tried ACV to some success. I started working with H2O2 about five days ago and am finding amazing relief. According to my Chinese medicine/ acupuncturist, all my pain is due to phlegm and dampness. The H2O2 is pulling so much out it's crazy. As a result, I feel amazing relief. Give it a try. Go to the H2O2 pages and read about it. I drink it according to the plan layed out in that section but, also gargle with it. I only use the 3% from the store.

Frozen Shoulder: Hi... OW! I seriously injured my right shoulder in June. I am seeing a chiropractor & a massage therapist & they are doing nice things for me. When I fell I also knocked my head, quite literally, off my block. So adjustments are helping; any ideas as to what else I can do? In the beginning I was talking so many painkillers I was fearful of harming my organs; found this site & started taking turmeric for the inflammation. I am unable to place my hand on my hip, bring my hand behind my back. Any suggestions? I miss kayaking. Thanks.

In January I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, in May with chronic polypoid cystitis of the bladder. I had general discomfort throughout my abdomen, flank and pelvic area- not sure what condition was causing what pain. Also had what I believe was arthritic pain in my hip. Only remedy for polypoid cystitis that doctor recommended was painkillers- I declined- or ibuprofen, which I did not want to take on a regular basis. Did some reserch on natural anti-inflammatories, and found lots of info on turmeric. I just went to my local drug store, and bought turmeric capsules, I think they are 500 mg. I started taking 2 pills 2x a day, for a couple of days, then decreased to 2 pills 1x a day, and after just a week or so I stopped taking them altogether. Amazing, but all of my aches and pains disappearred! No bladder pain- no flank pain- no hip pain! If I feel a twinge of anything, I take 2 turmeric, and that does the trick. I am hooked!
DMSO

DMSO: I know, I know, it's a solvent, used to clean aircraft and electrical parts. It has an odor, but what cure doesn't come with a drawback or 2?
This stuff literally can work in an instant, long term...I don't know the effects, but then, we all KNOW that Motrin affects the liver directly too.
So, I woke up this AM with shooting electrical pain in my left shoulder again, just wanted to go right back to sleep, couldn't hold it straight without weakness and shooting pains, feels like something is pinched or going wrong.
Swipe some of this DMSO clear liquid on my shoulder muscles, and poof! the sensations went away until right now and it is almost 18 hours later!
Now, what shall get rid of the pain in my hand and finger joints? I am awake tonight because of the intense pains in them, so I am on the internet here reading more about ACV and honey to relieve this, I had a good friend tell me about it years ago, before I needed to use it. Good skin and no pain in the old guys I worked with who all tried it one month on a dare...me being young, stored the info away in my brain....for the future. And my auntie, she told me her momma had poured it in drinking water of the hired milkers who they had working in their dairy. Problem is that she thought her mother was being mean in fact her mother was helping them to produce more work/milk in their cows.
Natural Painkillers

Ginger is a natural pain reliever. Just cut it into thin slice and steep it as a tea.
Mace and nutmeg are also good at relieving pain but do not take too much of these because this two herbs can be hallucinogenic.
Bromelain present in pineapple is a great natural antinflammatory.
Arnica and bilberry are good for pain.
Carrot juice are effective for back (siatica),leg pain, and arthritis!
Capsaicin! This is actually a component in chili peppers and also works well for back pain, joint pain etc.

In hopes of loosing some weight I started drinking diet pop. Before long I noticed that my hips hurt ALOT. I have been on celebrex for years to help with the hip pain, but when I started drinking diet pop the pain was so intense that I was doubling up on the meds as well as taking tylenal to help with the pain.Going to bed was horrible as it hurt so much. Once I stopped drinking pop all together my hip pain went away. I have stopped taking the celebrex and only need tylenal when I have over taxed myself.

Hi you all and Ted, Are the Apple Cider Vinegar tablets easier on the system than the regular liquid acv? Also I have candida and do not do well with vinegar.
I am desparate. I hav excruciating pain in my shoulders and and neck -I have arthritis and fibromialgia and now I am starting to have severe pain in my feet and am scared I will not be able to walk.
I am utterly exhasted and wake up around 2, 3, 4 am and sleep poorly when I do slleep this has been going on for months and months and months. I take deep sleep a supplement but it is not remedying the problem
I also have terrible digestion and it feels like my colon area is full of toxic sludge but am not sure which cleanse to do that is safe. I am too thin.
I HAVE TRIED SO MANY THINGS and I'm not getting better, any ideas? Sorrell

If you are or have ever been please look up opiate induced hypremyalgia. I have this it has been callled ME, FIBRO, CHRONIC PAIN, NEUROPATHY. Opiate painkillers cause it or opiate addiction. One is enough to cause it you don't have to be an addict!!! I have been in hell for many yea's. I tried telling DRS THE PAINKILLER WAS MAKING IT WORSE!!! PLEASE LOOK IT UP. THE ONLY WAY I CAN SEE OUT IS TOTAL DETOX. IT IS HELL!! BUT AT LEAST AFTER SOME TIME IT WILL GET BETTER. I AM SORRY BUT EVEN NON OPIATE PAIN KILLERS WILL NOT HELP. OXYCODONE STARTED MINE. XXX
Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation

Hello. I wanted to give you an update for another hydrogen peroxide inhalation cure. I wrote in a couple of weeks ago about how it stopped my flu in its tracks after a few hours (yes, I never got sick). Well, last night while I was asleep, my left neck muscle and shoulder blade went into a spasm. It was very painful and even more so when I got up in the morning. I went around yelping like a dog every time I moved my head or left arm. Anyway, after a few hours of this, I suddenly remembered that Bill M had written about how he used his remedy to stop a muscle spasm. I got out my little sinus spray bottle filled with h202 and did 6 quick squirts into my mouth (I like to hold my breath as long as possible after I spray and then spit out the left over peroxide). The excruciating pain jolts went away almost immediately and my neck and shoulder were back to normal after a few hours. Actually I can't tell you how long it took because I forgot about it until tonight when I realized that not only did I have no pain, but I had full mobility of my neck! I have had this same spasm occur lots of times over the years and it usually takes a good 2-3 days to recover. I LOVE THIS REMEDY!

Oil Pulling

I have been doing oil pulling for 2 weeks now. I use sesame or almond oil. The first time I did it at night before bed. In the morning, My dry chapped hands were noticeably smoother and more supple. My face has also become smoother. After 4 days, I noticed that a cronic pain that I had in my right side upper back and neck were diminished considerably and I could move my head from side to side without any pain.I originally tried it to relieve my nasal congestion which it does temporarly. I have also seen marked improvement in knee and other joint pain. I will continue to do it daily. I take vitamins and supplements, and see my chiropractor, but nothing has helped as much as oil pulling for my pain.

I have been taking sesame oil for pain for at least 2 months and I have had no results. I take it in the morning. Should I take it at night before going to sleep? I take it in the morning before I eat or drink. It would be difficult to space it out more than 2 hours before going to bed. Please advise. Thank you.

To Sandy: For all those other aches and pains - I swear by MSM - this is what our' bodies convert DMSO into. Remember all the controversy over that one. I have been taking it several years with nothing but good results, however I did read on EC where someone said had bad reaction. You can google to read about it before you try. It is akin to sulphur, but I have no trouble with it despite being unable to take sulfa drugs such as Bactrim.

Get from the internet a free converting program like formatfactory or super. Then you can convert the wav file into a mp3 file And put that onto your mp3 player.
