I developed psoriasis on the left side of the scrotum, after wearing a very tight boxer for inguinal hernia for 5 days, that irritated the area with friction. Then every more or less 16 days, I developed the scale. Itchiness too.
I had this for about two to three months. With the first application of ichthammol ointment the symptoms started to subside. By using it every day for three months I was totally cured with no symptom at all. Then for three more months I used it every other day. Before two weeks the ointment finished and the psoriases hasn't come back at all.
Ichthammol may stain clothes but not permanently. There are also shampoos with tar and sulfur for psoriasis of the scalp.
