May I suggest leaving your house for 3 days.4 to be sure the bugs all die off in your home.that way u can focus more on your owm treatment and less on cleaning out the house from them.i did it and it really helped alot.we have me my husband, 2 kids, 2 animals so u can see how the mites can add up fast learking around the house.iv gotten so that I can feel if one gets on me.so when I came home I felt the difference.

3/3/2023 After 3rd outbreak, duscovered this site. Soak was great help. took step further and made "mud bath" paste of 1 cup diatomaceous earth, 2Tblsp Borax powder, 2 Tblsp hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 cup warm water plus additional warm water slowly added to make brownie thick paste. sitting in dry tub/shower covered body hairline to toes with thin coating of mud avoiding eyelids and lips. let dry 30 minutes then showed off. repeated daily while continuing recomnended household cleaning and sanitation practices. Legs, arms and face totally clear after a week. continued daily "mud bath" another week to be sure any eggs hatching or nymphs were killed off. hope this gets a view. diemateous earth kills scabies and insects and is recommended as carpet treatment but inhaling dust not good. tying up diatomaceous earth in water based paste is the key.

When you are treating yourself for SCABBIES as well as other bugs, You also have to treat your house, car, clothes, and anywhere you have been....sit, sleep, etc. You have to treat anywhere the eggs have transferred to....floor. I hear Sulfur can be good for doing this. Look up how to do this. It sounds like you treated yourself and then got reinfected by your surroundings.

I stumbled onto psorinum in another group for sarcoptic mites. I asked a homeopathic doctor about it and they said that psorinum is like a polycrest remedy in that it can bring out other issues that you have either going on or were not active in your body. Do you know anything about that? I wouldn't think 30C or 30X potency would have that action. I have been dealing with mites of some sort for over 2 years. I have tried sulfur soaps and creams, using borax in the laundry, calendula gel or cream, coconut oil, colloidal silver soap, gel, and spray, chlorhexidine soap, neem shampoo and bar soap (yukky), homeopathic Lycopodium 200C, homeopathic sulfur 200C, Epsom salts, and I am now trying essential oils. I mix coconut oil with menthol, coconut oil with oregano oil, tea tree oil and menthol, and am have some minor successes with the essential oils and also Epsom salts. I purchased some psorinum awhile ago and have that and other potencies. If it works that fast ...???!!! Can you share more of your experience with it? Please?

Yeah, your are very smart to use the vinegar, whether is the apple cider vinegar kind or the plain clear white vinegar 5% kind, they both work to get rid of scabies. It is a cheap way to heal yourself. I mixed it 4 to 1 ratio in an old clean plastic milk jug with lid, with 1 part white vinegar to 4 parts warm water, doubled this in the jug and shook it up. Got into the shower and rinsed myself with plain warm water at first to open my pores, then shut the shower off and poured the contents of the milk jug all over me. Sometimes I put some first on a clean terry wash cloth and hit the itchy places well, just don't scrub it in, lightly go over the itchy spots to get it into their tunnels/bite holes in you skin. Then I poured the rest of the jug from top of my head/hair all the way down covering the whole body. Close your eyes because it will burn your eyes if it gets in them, which it did mine twice at the corners. I just wiped my eyes off with the towel and went on rubbing this into my body. Got out and did not towel dry but put the towel on your wet hair and let the body air dry. If you have a hair dryer use that to blow the itchy places where the mites and their eggs are and I kept my dryer on high heat and gently held it to the itchy spots as long as I could stand it to heat them mites/eggs up to where it would kill them. Some will come out immediately the first or second day you do this as they hate it. Heat will kill them as well as the vinegar. I gave them the old one two and they died over the course of a week..plus the vinegar will burn the first couple of minutes after putting it on but not real bad. I got brave the third day and put just the plain vinegar on it with a cotton ball and rubbed the remaining itchy spots with this. Not bad, not bad, I could stand it but others may have to proceed slower with this method than I did. I am almost a seventy year old woman and this worked for me and my husband. I did this vinegar water shower 4 times the first day, then 3 times the following day, then 2 times each day there after until cured. Took a week or so for the both of us to be cured, and may I say we had tried everything under the sun to cure us and who would of thought that plain old vinegar and water would do the trick? But by gosh it worked for us. Oh, plus I put the white vinegar in a spray bottle and I spray it over the mattress/sheet, chairs we sit in, the carpets/floors, the toilet lid, door handles, light switches, places that we touch daily. Also never wear the same clothing more than a day, night clothes included, put them in a laundry basket and in the hot dryer for thirty minutes, then they are ready to wear again, unless they are soiled, then wash in a hot water with a half cup of borax, remember hot water, hot clothes dryer and a hot hairdryer kills these little critters. I also put our blankets, comforter and pillows into the clothes dryer daily for thirty minutes, hot as the dryer goes too. And I know this is a lot of trouble to get rid of these mites but it is worth it to do it all and do it good if you want them to be gone from you and your home but just do it. This is war with them things so give them the boot out of your life. I was amazed at how fast this vinegar water worked on them and the next day my body looked so much better and felt better too...and my husband did this with me and he was so surprised to see how his body looked even just the next morning after doing the four vinegar/water showers that first day. I also put this stuff in a spray bottle to use on our bodies, plus put the plain vinegar straight after the third day on my itchy parts and what a relief it was. So, not telling you to do this because I am not a doctor and you travel at your own risk but you may be surprised to see how amazing this stuff really is and I hope this post helps others. I did not have scabies. I took a new cat that I just brought home, to the vet for her first visit. The vet told me my new cat has scabies. My cat came with SCABIES that, they can't get, hum interesting that an animal that can't get scabies has scabies, that it can't get, interesting how false old wives tales contradict the truth. Then the dogs got checked. The vet said the medicine I give will kill scabies in both cats and dogs. Now it's my turn to go to my Dr. to get rid of my scabies infection. I want to add a little to the T cell auto immune destructive response you mentioned. I have had a terrible time with my skin reactions causing sudden and unhealing permanent wounds that I constantly have to dig into and remove the little mite islands and tunnel systems that masquerade as new skin cell scar type tissue. The salacylic acid I figured out as I desperately dug through my garage and under the sinks of my home searching for something I felt I could tolerate in open wounds that the mites could not.
One new thing I've added in a revelation to the newest revised routine I'm practicing is implementing very religious vitamin and mineral daily supplements. I personally am terribly anemic so the blood attracts the mites and every paper cut or mosquito bite ends up a giant crater hosting a permanent bug festival. Iron and all the associated letter vitamins required for it's absorption seems to be changing the game in it's department of boosting my body's metabolic and hematologic functions and leading to actual healing of some long standing wounds. The prenatal vitamin is my personal choice for it's very complete coverage of vitamins and minerals we all require daily and many of us, without even realizing, have been lacking for longer than we have had buggy troubles. I suggest a long with the topical, and oral pharmaceutical methods used daily, make sure to add your super vitamins and skin health supplements such as vitamin c, callogen, and calcium, magnesium, and zinc. Our skim is the first line of defense and seems to be the weakest link in the forces we have to combat the bugs that Satan sends. Research the tissue and blood cell support elements as well as your immune health boosters. A nutritionist or dietician may be able to help a ton by getting comprehensive blood levels of every vitamin mineral etc you currently have, and show you the exact points of deficiency or lacking.
Lastly I want to throw this little bit in: I personally had to stop the antibacterial soap cleansing of my skin because I learned that prehistoric people did not struggle with this disease due to their healthy skin flora. There are so many bacteria and microscopic helpers that are also bugs and live on us without us ever realizing the defense they provide by eating and eliminating a ton of things that are a potential threat to us as well as their happy home in our pores. When we systematically remove these helpers, it's very hard to ever get that back. I'm going to do a bit of research on that note. Im now on a mission of possible clay, or volcanic ash mud type skin therapies that can reintroduce good bugs into my skin microbiome and hopefully give me an advantage over the rapid repopulations I see daily. Basics is the key I'm thinking as of late. Nature and dirt is all people had b4 modern chemistry and the bugs were never heard of till recent times. I'm gonna focus on that concept for now to keep me busy and not crazy!!

Guys thanks so much for all these posts, I had to laugh at "I just started crying, and mind you I'm a grown man" because I can 100% empathise. I was about to go hari Kiri over here but instead will get my boyfriend to pick up as much clove, tea tree, and orange oil as he can carry. No time for a doctor as I know exactly what this is, having had it before and am kicking myself for not having recognised the symptoms earlier. I guess the repeated saunas mitigated the effects but last night I felt the bites and was like noooooooooo. I dont was this deactivated earth is but I will simply try sticking everything including our mattress, armchair, shoes, clothes etc in the sauna at 90° for 30 minutes, if any of those bastards survive that kind of heat, they probably deserve to live and 10 points for effort. But yeah, hopefully not. My question is, how long do we apply the clove oil for?? Like a week? I read the Australian study also, that said clove oil has a kill rate of 100% after 15 minutes, but they didn't specifically if this means repeated applications. Also I will Clingfilm the car seats. Good call. And thanks again for the advice and the morale!

I know this question wasn't directed at me, but I also use D.E. as you do, or at least, I did; it took care of the problem.
I used D.E. and dry-rubbed it in. When using it on infections, rashes, etc., I have found that the wonderful, miraculous D.E. clings to areas where its needed, and falls off where its not. I do this first and then I hop in the shower.
(And don't worry, the D.E. doesn't ever attain the consistency of clay to clog your drains. Its too powdery for that.)
I do plan on buying, I think they're called "dry-scrub brushes" for dry rubbing before a shower, which I hear is good anyways. But for now, my hands do just fine.

For the past 11+ years I suffered from scabies that was not only misdiagnosed, but resistant to all prescription drug treatments. I had been researching for all these years for a permanent solution. I had been to hundreds of doctors and aside from being misdiagnosed, (e.g. eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, allergic reaction, etc.) and over prescribed steroids, ivermectin, permetherin, etc.) I finally found a promising cure.
Aside from finding the right remedy, I know now that everyone's skin and bodies are different and through trial and error found the appropriate mixture that has worked specifically for me. I have extremely sensitive skin and can't tolerate the majority of products (both prescription and OTC) as they often trigger adverse and allergic reactions. So remember when reading this that "less is more" when you first start out using the method and mixture ratio that has worked for me.
I used organic 100% pure clove bud oil, cold pressed 109% pure coconut oil, 100% organic pure aloe vera gel, tea tree oil face and body wash for sensitive skin, Loma Lux Eczema Pill (sulphur tablets) and white 100% cotton gloves (to sleep with on my hands to help prevent further injury of unconsciously scratching/itching open skin lesions during the night - to promote my healing.
For me the ratio of mixture that I found specifically appropriate for me was this.
1.) Seven (7) drops of clove bud oil to one (1) tablespoon of coconut oil.
2.) Two Loma Lux Eczema tablets once per day (taken at bedtime). My initial dosage was 3-4 tablets for the first two weeks.
3.) Put on a fresh clean pair of the cotton gloves daily at bedtime.
4.) Use of permetherin 5% spray to treat bedding (sheets, mattress, pillows) furniture and interior rooms on a daily basis.
Every other day in the evening at bedtime I would apply the clove bud oil combined with the coconut oil to my skin (from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet - including face, scalp, inside my ear lobes, under my toe and finger nails, etc.) And on the in between days I would apply the pure sloe vera gel several times throughout the day to promote healing.
The tea tree oil face and body wash I used throughout the day several times using a slightly textured wash cloth with warm water.
Honest to God I am finally feeling relief from the insane itching, my skin lesions are all almost completely healed. Most of the scabies and demodex mites have died and exhumed from my skin (hundreds of them). I am almost in full remission after 11 + years.
Currently I am researching for the best mite killing laundry detergent add-on and hope to update this post when I find the best additive.

Turpentine bar soap cure overnight. Lather your body up to 5 times and let it sit on your skin for 2-3 minutes then rinse off. Repeat as needed. Do not put anything on your skin after you rinse and dry. I ordered my bar of soap on Amazon Search Turpinetine Bar Soap by Diamond G Forest Products. It's the best 9 dollars I have spent. I also ordered the Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine to put some in the hand soap and hair shampoo to keep them off of me. Wash everything for the next few days to get rid of them.
I do Cryotherapy as well to freeze them suckers off of you. Keep in mind you will be cold, but you will see the parasite fall off your skin like dust. I praise God he placed this in my path to cure.

The immune system theory is partially correct. The other thing is, it might not be scabies! You may have an oak leaf itch mite. Just as bad, but you can actually see them. They are cream colored and half the size of a straight pin head. If you run your lint roller across the bed and get cream specks on it, more than likely that's what it is. Natural Genesis confirmed you cannot see scabies. They said Kleen Green only kills the mites it sprays; it doesn't kill any newcomers. So, you have to keep up with the washing/drying/vacuuming every day. Talk about the definition of insanity!

So we have a big garden and one of the tenants got a stray cat. Then they had the worst scabies case. First two days the itch was gone 50%, on the third day the itch was totally gone. On the 5th day, the rashes have totally dried out. For the first time in maybe 5 years, we are itch free n cured!
So we just take it 2x a day now . It has other health benefits . Since I started drinking it, I lost weight. But after using the bathroom gosh! It's like I pooped smth dead. So I'm thinking maybe the bitterness was just all over our system that all the mites just ran away!

I have purchased FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH for internal parasites (husband, myself, and two cats). And we also use it to “dust our carpets, beds, and even plants. It works by dehydrating the parasites, and works on most all types, including tapeworm. Besides killing parasites, it has good health benefits for humans & pets, and is safe for children.
For adults: At bedtime take one heaping Teaspoon in 8oz warm water, then follow with another half glass water. For children and also for small pets dosage is 1/2 teaspoon in 8oz warm water followed by additional half glass of water. I would do this for 30-45 days. Tapeworms will often come out in pieces. Can sprinkle directly on pet's food and mix it up if they won't drink the water. The website I purchased from also sells a duster container which the DE can be poured into to easily dust beds (also kills bed bugs) and carpets. Dust lightly on carpets, as it can clog vacum if sprinkled too heavilyI would suggest a GOOD QUALITY intestinal/colon cleanse after 45 days, though not necessary.

I wouldn't overthink it. The woman (above) is going to make herself sick Swiffering her floors 3X a day. I would use hot water and vinegar on tiles with some essential oil scent that is pleasant. That would disinfect the floors. You can track your progress by using a lint roller on your sheets. I use my iPhone flashlight to inspect the lint roller. I think bird mites got in somehow or I brought them in feeding the birds. A few months ago, my spouse spent a week at rehab, so I probably picked up something there as well. One guy said to use Irish Spring soap. I bought the aloe kind. It didn't sting, so I guess I'm better. I put aloe Vera gel on the red places. Get the purest kind. I might make the coconut oil with various essential oils to smother/kill them. I put cayenne pepper on biscuits and gravy. I drink tea with cloves. I put Listerine on cotton rounds in jars near each bed post. Next, I am going to use Windex Wipes on the windows and bed frame. I did a thorough vacuuming, but some heavy furniture is impossible to move. I might steam my cold water wash clothes. Remember, they live on a host—that's YOU!

I've used everything posted online and from doctors for scabies. The only thing that has worked for me is Dr. Clark Hulda Zapper. After the first day I was able to sleep through the night. I zap twice a day one in the morning and before bed. I put it under my armpits for 10min then off for 20min, then in my socks under my feet for 10 min then off 20 min then hold it in your hand for 10 minutes. Drink plenty of water you will get dehydrated.

Hi, I got moxidectin through a horse dewormer paste, you can order it online or even buy it at tractor supply! It eradicated a lot of my mites, currently I am not 100% cured but o can at least sleep at night. I am still going through many treatments to get rid of all of them. Make sure to do research on Moxidectin before you take it though.

If you don't see bites, it is probably the permethrin that leaves you with alot of itching. It is a neurotoxin. You unfortunately will have this for a few months depending on how long you used permethrin. Your skin will heal with time. Use Dove soap or any other gentle non sulfates and moisturize!

Important when you have scabies to wear latex gloves when showering or bathing so you don't spread scabies all over your body. And especially when wiping after using the bathroom or changing pads during period. Women don't use tampons during this problem at all!! Also, try to wear gloves as long as you can daily assuming it's not summer. Also always wear thick socks with diatomaceous inside them. Turn the sock inside out then grab some diatomaceous earth with inside out sock. Then turn the sock right side in. I used ankle socks. This along with consistent glove wearing kept me from spreading mites in my environment cutting down cleaning and helps to effectively stop the vicious cycle. These two steps also prevented feeling them inside and out. Not to mention keeping diatomaceous earth in my socks helps blood pressure and water retention. I do it to this day.
I also shaved my head bald. I'm not kidding. I'm a woman and I figured I wasn't going out or seeing many people anyway. It helped alot but I know it's not for most people. I also drank diatomaceous earth in water daily. There are miticide foggers also that help especially cause your so exhausted mentally and physically. And dehumidifiers and heat used together with all windows closed for as long as possible (you have to leave the premises of course. Try just hanging outside.) Always keep any furniture a few inches away from walls from now on. Never have any furniture, knick knacks touching walls. I also stopped hanging pictures and other things on walls to prevent hiding places for pests, parasites. From now on lifestyle means less is more!
One last mention is to keep any clothes, shoes, pictures, memorabilia, anything stored or not in immediate use that you would like to keep seal it tight in plastic from now on. This is important as a rule of thumb. It cuts down cleaning and having to throw things out for many types of infestation like mites, bed bugs and roaches. I hope this helps.

I have been taking very hot baths with tea tree oil clove oil and lavender soak for one hour does not work. I think it just makes them dormant? They come back!! I'm now taking borax & HP will see how this works, but how often do I do this is what I need to know??

Linda, go to Tractor Supply or Rural King, to the animal medicines. There should be ivermectin injectable, pour on or paste. You want the pour on one. The animal supply places have all sorts of things--dmso, povidone iodine, tar-based salves and so on. Stuff the people pharmacies have rejected in favor of modern pharma.

Yes, these mites hate heat .I was thinking to go to a stand up tanning bed? Permethrin. Never works. I've been taking hot baths with clove oil tee tree oil & Lavender essentials oils. I feel better for a while but then I feel them bite me again. I'm so fed up! I'm depressed, my son brought them home a year ago. Went to dermatologist she gave me permitherin and Ivermectin pills. I thought they were gone? Nope, I moved out with my son to Alabama They came back in March 2020 The dermatologist here was a bitch. Sshe was not interested in curring me They did mostly surgical procedures no money in curing me!! Drs don't help. Going to try the borax treatment/ I think my son's dog has mites too .this could be the problem I have treated him with mange dips and expensive shampoo! I'm beside myself now! Doing all the laundry in very hot water and let them soak in it for 30 min or more I spray my sheets with the essential oils and alcohol! Please someone HELP ME!!

So thankful I found this site. In 2021 this regimen of bleach/water still works. Particularly on page 2. I would add to use veterinarians formula antiparasitic/antisebhorrahic shampoo and lime sulfur dips on the animals. Be very careful and make sure to dilute it, using just a paper towel around the animal's face. It's very toxic to their eyes/nose etc. Also, don't go in the car for 4 days so the mites die off. Take a bath in 2 cups of bleach, 1 cup hydrogen peroxide daily. Spray down with a 4:1 or 5:1 spray of water to bleach, whatever your skin can handle. Then use lotions with essential oils to rehydrate. I also got a prescription of metronidazole which is an antibiotic/antiparasitic. Lots of times Take good probiotics to counteract it wiping out your good bacteria.
I want to Thank this forum for finally getting my home back. My husband and I are completely rid of Scabies because of this forum.. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Here is our story and what we did to finally rid our bodies and home from these relentless critters.
We tried the prescription creams and even took the pills that doctors prescribed and scrubbed my house and washed the linens every day, only to have recurrences every 4-5 days. After 3 failed attempts doing it the doctor's way finally I headed to the internet and found this website. I read all the different posts for what others were using and having success. I guess you can say I gathered a mix of treatments. Here is what we did to finally rid our bodies and home.
1) Wrap the mattress and box springs in plastic
2) Wrap the couch in plastic
3) Steam Clean the Carpets -- We added 1/4 cup Chlorine free bleach, 3 Tblsp Dr Bonners Castile Peppermint soap and Zep Carpet Cleaner to mix with our water. Not only did this actually do a better job on our carpets then the cleaner itself ever did, but our carpets were minty fresh.
4) Take the bed linens off the bed every morning and straight to the washing machine. Add borax with your detergent. Then to the dryer until completely dry, I ran mine for 2 cycles. Spray the plastic on the bed with 50/50 Cholorine free bleach and Water, let air dry.
5) If you have pets, bathe them with the Peppermint soap made into shampoo. Use a nit/flea comb to remove any eggs that they are carrying. No the scabies don't infect them, but they do provide them with rides all over your house.
6) Remove daily clothing in the bathroom and place them directly into a plastic bag to transport clothing and towels to the washing machine.
7)Bathe twice a day, make the water as hot as you can take. Add Tblsp of each -Dr Bonners castile Citrus, Tea Tree and Peppermint oil soaps to the Bath water and soak. Then wash with one of the castile oil soaps which ever one you choose for the day and shower off. Towel dry and spray entire body with a 50/50 mix of the chlorine free bleach and Water. Place towel in the plastic bag with the clothing you were wearing and off to the laundry.
8) vacuum carpets every day.
9) each day spray every room in your house from floor to ceiling (everything- walls, doors, cabinets, floor.. Etc. ) with a 50/50 mix of chlorine free bleach and water.
In 10 days and we were completely free of scabies from our bodies and home. I say 10 days because we were clear of any outbreaks in 5 days, but we kept up the cleaning regiment for another 5 days just to make sure we didn't have another recurrence in the usual 4-5 days when we were following the doctor prescribed methods.
You have to be completely ready to stay with the routine, if you decide that you are tired and don't follow through with the cleaning regiment, I promise you will be sorry. Just plan on starting over as though it is day one all over again. Trust me you can't win the battle if you aren't fighting.
Once again Thank you everyone for posting your remedies, I hope passing along our success story will help someone else. Please pay attention to your body because the chlorine free bleach and soaps are not for everyone and I wouldn't want anyone to have an adverse reaction if you have allergies or sensitive skin to any of the ingredients used, then don't use them, create a mix of your own that works for you.

There is also a purple powder that turns brown in the tub that pulls all of them out of your skin and you will actually see them when you drain the tub. It works by oxidation. There is a new super scabies that is nearly impossible to get rid of. Thank God I found earthclinic that told me about borax…..gone in a week. Please note... not everyone will see high concentrations of Scabies on their skin after drawing them out of the burrows with the scent of Sheep manure.
1) It depends on how badly your infestation is.
2) I have a condition called Myopia which is nearsightedness that can magnify the tiniest things with my glasses off. I don't know if this is a blessing or a curse as it freaks me out to see Scabies on my skin. I do know that seeing them after scenting them out of the burrow is a good thing toward reaching a cure. You out there with 20/20 vision probably won't see them without a magnifying glass. But this definitely works. Please be careful with how you handle Sheep manure. Gloves on please! Handle the shirt as though you are dealing with feces. Only scent the shirt and do not rub Sheep manure into the fabric.
Store Sheep manure away from the home. Sheep manure is not like cow, pig or chicken manure. It is not as strongly scented as these, but Scabies are drawn to it none-the-less. I have read a lot about the biology of Scabies. I have not read anywhere about how Scabies are attracted to certain scents. Having Myopia has given me an advantage I believe. I have seen them come out with certain strong scents.
If there is someone out there that can develop a scented product to draw these mites out of the burrow then please go to work! This is a horrible disease and we are waiting for help. 300 million new cases per year! I feel this is a far better treatment to try as you are getting Scabies to leave the burrows. Having them outside on the skin is a far better treatment solution than killing them inside the burrow with a topical. Borax Baths and H202 are recommended on this forum and I totally agree with this as you can keep your skin bacteria free. These mites are dirty and can cause a bacterial infection. I believe Borax baths kills Scabies that are on the surface at the time of the bath. Another thing that works to exfoliate the skin and keep it clean is Epsom Salts and Bath Salts. Please exercise caution and use common sense when attempting this and any other treatment. Research everything well before attempting.

Dear friends...I have suffered from a severe case of Scabies for 2 years.
Quite by accident I've come across a fast track cure. Here is my story... I went to the local hardware store and purchased supplies for gardening... seeds, fertilizer, sheep manure etc. The sheep manure stack at the hardware had some busted bags.
I selected the best bag I could find. It was heavy so I held it close to my body and lifted it into my cart. Two hours later I returned home and to my horror found Scabies had come out of my skin and were concentrated all around my chest and stomach area. The scent of the sheep manure had gotten on my shirt from lifting the bag and they are attracted to the scent. I took a lint roller to my skin then went for a borax bath. It is my opinion that this is a fast track method to eradicating them. Open a bag of manure outside...lay a shirt on the bag until you feel the shirt has picked up the scent then put it on for a couple of hours. Lint roller and see how many you collect. Do this outside please as this is manure.
You don't want to shed Scabies in your home either. After lint rolling your skin, head for a bath that kills what remains. Keep doing this until they are all gone.

Scabies treatment - very very concentrated sea salt bath. I was able to kill scabies mites and their eggs within 2 hours using an extremely concentrated sea salt bath. You can also dissolve a lot of sea salt in a little bit of water and rub it over your entire body. Keep it on for 2 hours. Do not rinse the salt solution off yourself. You can then apply 100% tea tree oil all over your body. Remember to steam iron your bed, sheets and clothes so that you dont reinfect yourself. Remember the salt solution has to be extremely concentrated. It will be enough to completely kill mites and eggs.

I have literally tried EV RY THING!!!! Perm 2, neem, clove, gr seed oil, oral ivermec, topical ivermec, orange, borax n hp, hp, rubbing alc, alc perfume, THE ONLY THING THAT HAS WORKED: OUT OF COMPLETE AND TOTAL DESPERATION: covered myself head to toe in hand sanitizer. Got 1 nights sleep w no creepy crawly. Next day: complete and total desperation>>> dollar store LA totally awesome cleaner with BLEACH. $1. Spray head to toe night rinse in morning. Next day I would use clove and grape seed oil just to MAKE SURE. At night do it again. I'm doing this every night until I don't feel one once of pinching or creepy crawly feeling then I'm prob do it for another few days then every week til nothing. I also vacuumed, washed everything daily, dryer for 90 minutes, covered fabrics w borax. Vacuumed daily. Dispose of contents away from me. Oh and if you're wondering where you're “getting them from” it's your dog.
Your dog needs borax water and hp dip after bath weekly to rid them. Go on YouTube and look up dog borax baths to see followed up with a frontline spot on their neck. ESPECIALLY if your dog is itching m, has dandruff and smells like gross cheese it's definitely them. All of their fabrics need to be washed in bleach and dried 90 minutes daily. The bleach cleaner and the sanitizer are the only 2 things that performed a true “knock down” of these little a$$holes. Ummm and yes you absolutely can see them. I've found 3 3 days in a row crawling on the light on my cell phone. I dumped a drop of clove oil on it and it was dead in seconds. They're the size of a pin head and they are beige. You'll feel less overwhelmed cleaning if you rotate 3 outfits and wash and put away everything else in your house for 2-3 months.

I got ivermectin from my doctor, because of serious eye mites. Ask your doctor for treatment. You must take this twice at least. Kills bugs first go, but then a couple weeks later you need to dose for eggs babies.
There are several threads about getting rid of these types of bugs. You can take a pinch of borax in warm water five days on, then on day off. Neem capsules, not neem liquid which is toxic internally. Di limolene gel capsules. Both of these are anti bugs.
You won't get rid of them if you aren't scrupulous about washing your clothes, and bed linens everyday with borax, detergent and high heat. If you don't you will get reinfected.

I stumbled onto something and got reading the reviews on the not-the-Nile site. It's called Nu-Stock. It's a sulfur cream and has a lot of high reviews for its intended purpose which is for horses - or just animals in general. Mange, cuts, scrapes etc. and, apparently, anything for which you could use it topically. But it also has some reviews for external use on people. I got some but didn't have anything to use it on.
It's pretty messy. Actually, it's VERY messy but you could easily squeeze it all out into a jar and mix it that way. It would be a lot less messy, too. I think it's in a tube so ranchers and horse people can just toss it in their kit/tack bag or glove compartment and such but you could definitely transfer it to another container. You'd want to really flatten it to get it all out so the ratio would be maintained when you're mixing it up. I think those who had trouble with it didn't mix it up and just got the oil that had separated when they tried to get it out of the tube.

This remedy makes sense to me. Turpentine has same smell similar to tea tree oil that also kills mites.
A bath with tea tree oil could work as well.
Eye mites can be killed with the following tea tree, peppermint and lavender essential oil.
A scabies remedy could consist of bubble bath with turpentine and the above essential oils, and borax!

Here in Kentucky, we use turpentine baths to get rid of turkey mites bites (infant star ticks) when we hike in the woods. It makes since that since scabies are a mite, it can be used for them also.

In this connection, a large number of indigenous preparations commonly used for scabies in this country were tested, and in course of this investigation oil of turpentine was observed to possess properties whereby the mite was quickly overwhelmed and was soon killed on contact outside the body.

To take a turpentine bath, pour a capful of turpentine about 1 teaspoon into a full tub of warm/hot water. Add bath bubbles to help draw the turpentine into the water because oil and water don't mix well. Humco Pure Gum Spirits is sold here at grocery stores and is made from real pine trees. Not synthetic made crap sold at hardware stores which will burn your skin we found out.
To make a topical salve, mix 1:4 Turpentine to Olive oil. Apply to infected areas.

Some suggestions:
- Infra red sauna if you can get to one
- Neem dry herb capsule internal
- d limolene capsules a type of orange oil
- Neem and Orange oil are used as bug eradicators.
For neem internal take only the dried herb, not the oil. Neem oil is toxic when taken internally.
- Pet MD benzoyl peroxide shampoo this has sulphur and salicylic acid. Add 1/2 neem oil to this. Neem is stinky and bugs hate it. This is to be used as shampoo and body wash.
- You can add peppermint or tea tree essential oil to make it smell better. Both these essential oil are also anti bug.
- Sulphur bar soaps from Amazon. Sulphur is drying be aware and does smell like Sulphur!
Above shampoo works because it goes deep into hair follicles.
I would also make a body spray with hydrogen peroxide and borax and spray your body after bathing. Just keep it around. Look on Earth Clinic for proportion. I believe it's 10 percent hydrogen peroxide, 10 per cent borax to solution.

This is what my friend did and it has cured her when others did not.
1 bottle 3% hydrogen peroxide
Water n borax ( 20 mule brand).
Big container to mix the solution.
Empty the bottle if hydrogen peroxide in the container. Then fill the empty bottle with water 3x . Each time emptying it in the big container ( 1:3 ratio).
Then teaspoon by teaspoon slowly add borax in it. Mix very well. When you notice that the borax is not dissolving anymore ( granules are left in the mixture), stop adding borax.
Use the solution as a soak on affected parts . 15-30 min per day or 3x/week depends on how you can tolerate it. On the second week of doing this, skin is very dry but mites gone.

Over the months I have been learning how to irradiate scabies. Yesterday I found your site.
This has been my routine (up until now) with no significant effects, maybe slightly worse:

- Weekly - Clip nails often

- 3 weekly Moxidectin 1/2 dose ? Full (neurotoxin)similar to ivermectin a stronger version

If in scalp I forgot to mention.
Try this blend borax powder, d - earth, neem powder. Get a powder shaker from Amazon and dust your hair a scalp. put shower cap on and wear as long as possible.
I had mites from somewhere, and did take ivermectin. My doctor said its one of the safer drugs out there and has long history.
It does work, two doses three weeks apart to kill baby mites.
Now any of these treatments will not work if you don't launder your pillow case and sheets with borax hot water and high heat. Same with combs, brushes, towels. You have to be a maniac.
Yes, a pinch of borax in water helps too with neem powder capsules NOT the liqud which is not safe to take that is only for putting on skin, or in shampoo. It stinks as bad as coal tar shampoos.

Try adding neem oil half a tsp to shampoo and conditioner.
Neem is effective against bugs. Warning it is stinky so use a shampoo with scent. I use a natural citrus shampooo as citrus oils are anti bug.
Additonally take neem capsules. The oil is toxic internally but not capsules. Also buy d-limonene capsules. Orange oil is used against bugs. I used both of these recent bout of some kind of mite and eradicated problem.
You can also try Diatomaceous earth. Use as a mud pack on scalp. Most bugs hate it. You can also dust your scalp with it, then wear a shower cap over it at night.
I also found dog shampoos with Peroxide, Micronized Sulfur and Salicylic Acid very effective. I used one from Pet MD. It is unscented, and gets into hair follicles and scalp well! With shampoos you can add neem, tea tree, sulphuric etc. leave on as long as you can then rinse.

Been trying everything as well for the last 16 months, I got them on a holiday to Hamilton island, well hope you're cured, I am going to try dmso with peroxide next, I found daily applications of sulphur mixed with lotion very helpful, I just cannot get them out of my scalp. Good luck.

Here is what I did that works, because bleach, borax, turmeric, onion and vinegar are way too harsh to apply on skin.
ORDER>> Neem oil and Tea Tree online (100% cosmetic grade).
GO TO>> grocery store an buy unrefined extra virgin coconut oil, buy several bottles of fabric disinfectant spray, medicated body soap and Sulfur shampoo. GO TO>> Beauty store and buy Eucalyptus oil, Peppermint oil, Rosemary oil. GO TO>> Natural food store and buy African Black soap with Tea Tree.
First>> strip bedding, wash with bleach. Spray fabric disinfectant on coach, chairs, carpet, Car seat
NEXT>> Shower with sulfur shampoo, medicated soap and african black soap. leaving soaps on body for 5 or 10 minutes with water off.
THEN>> Apply coconut oil, Eucalyptus and peppermint oils
REPEAT next day, soaps, shampoo, coconut and peppermint oils.
WHEN Neem oil arrives, apply that.

Have you tried clove oil in vodka and used as a spray? Lavender oil with peppermint oil in vodka applied as a spray may also be helpful. All three of these oils are considered helpful for detering these mites.

NOEL, ORH here, I got mites several years ago and nothing worked until I read that hi heat will kill them. Put all clothes a bedding in a plastic bag and washed in high heat. I have a sauna and got in it twice a day at 160 degrees. You right in that you can kill the adults and the eggs re-infect you. Thus it takes time to get them all. I was corresponding with a guy in England and he killed his with a Rife Machine. Scabies and mites are both parasites. Heat will kill them. I also had a ointment that I coated my skin with to prevent then from getting oxygen. When I get into trouble, I throw the kitchen sink at the problem and sometimes do not know what solved my problem. Just know that you must keep you clothing and bedding in plastic bag and wash daily in hot, hot water. ====ORH====
