Comfrey Oil

I injured my hand and I work using my hands so it was a long road finding relief. I was diagnosed with De Quervains tenosynovitis which is basically a form of tendinitis. I had a cortisone shot which worked all of two days. I was having to wrap my hand with sports tape, wear a compression sleeve and splint in order to work. I would ice it between clients. I was preparing to have surgery by a hand doc specialist as much as I didn't want to. I also attempted physical therapy. I happened to see a reel of Barbara O'Neil discussing comfrey can repair bone, tendons and ligaments. I ordered some oil and it worked. I applied it to the area twice a day and within one day I saw a change and by the end of the week my pain was gone. I use now for maintenance. I also tore the meniscus in my left knee two years ago and I have started applying the comfrey oil to the knee and can tell a significant difference in the amount of discomfort in the knee. Using the oil that cost me $14 saved me from surgery and missing work as I am self employed. Hope this can help others!

This sounds like trigger finger or Duyputrens contracture. I have it, I wrap my hand nightly in boron salve from Amazon and with a cotton ball saturated in DMSO. I also go to shock wave, not the one that bangs on you but an electric extracorporeal type. It's hard to find, but those two things are the only thing that I have found stop the pain and progression.

I find the statement of the amount of tablets somehow confusing. Each tablet of another manufacturer can have another dosage of Alfalfa, and other parts of the plant.

Hi There Posters!

The article below just might be the best article I have yet read on the dietary treatment of TENDONITIS.

If you remember (did you remember?) I posted that the following might be useful knowledge (but this article below, below, goes much further):

Carrot juice, Celery juice, Celery seed tea, Celery, also: Water, Lemon juice and Honey + a tablespoon of ACV+ a pinch of dried Celtic Sea Salt.

Hi Judi.

I use three different mixed ratios of DMSO and all from the same company.

I buy it at the health food store( a bit cheaper than online)

DMSO, LLC

Ghent, KY

No web site but a phone# 1-800-367-6935.

All three work for me.

DMSO for Tendonitis

I just started using DMSO gel on my shoulder and elbow, and I can't believe how fast it worked. You can't leave it on longer than 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes at the most but it starts to get very itchy. You need to wash it off or I just wet a rag and wipe it off. It is just the nature of DMSO.

I used it for shingles pain, many years ago and luckily always keeps this around, just in case. It helps with arthritis pain as well. But I just didn't think it would help with tendon issues. But then I looked here on Earth clinic and tried it out. And I am stunned. Again. It is just a versatile cream.

Thank you Earth clinic and all the people who share on here. I've remedied so many health issues, I'm lucky I found this website years ago!

For tendonitis, perform physical therapy to include stretching (Achilles tendon and calf muscles), strengthening, and use of anti-inflammatory methods, including ice, ultrasound, or iontophoresis. Iontophoresis is a treatment that uses an electric current to deliver dexamethasone to the affected area to reduce inflammation.

I had a tendonitis in my shoulder. I went to physiotherapy and was not be able to work for 7 months ( I had an Acro Balancing act ) until I went to another physio. He prescribed me a thee spoons of vodka or another spirit on a sheet ( or cut it in half ) of kitchen paper on the tendon then wrap it with cling film during the night.

Every night for a week until the inflammation is gone. Continue another week replacing the spirit with plain water. I was back to working in the circus after that.

Cipro Side Effect
Posted by Tony (Lexington, Ky) on 02/11/2018

I can believe this. I honestly think if I had taken the cipro much longer that a tendon in my arm would have ruptured. I noticed an unusual pain in my arm "towards the bend" that was never there prior to taking the cipro crap. I still feel random pains in that spot Sometimes lasting quite awhile. Now most of my pain is in my shoulder but I'm convinced the cipro had an affect on my arm too.

Cipro Side Effect
Posted by Wendy (Columbus, Oh) on 01/17/2018

I've taken Cipro on and off for years for regular UTIs (@ 3/year). Just now I'm realizing it was probably the reason I tore my left hamstring a couple of years ago....twice! Extreme pain, and I still need to walk carefully! I've talked with my doctor about a different antibiotic, if/when I need it.

I googled Cipro side effects, and here's just 1 of them: "sudden pain, snapping or popping sound, bruising, swelling, tenderness, stiffness, or loss of movement in any of your joints".

Also my nephrologist explained to me that it's very important to take a shower EVERY day, especially after sex, even if it's only to clean your genital area and underarms. Also, NO sugar in any form, eat healthfully, drink TONS of water, take good-quality cranberry capsules or drink PURE cranberry juice (with absolutely NO sugar); you can sweeten it with liquid Stevia.

Cipro Side Effect
Posted by Ray (South West) on 01/16/2018

I took Cipro for 2 weeks. I bent down to install a door sweep and 3 minutes later I was in severe pain after feeling something snapping in my knee. Quad tendon. The pain became uncontrollable. The EMT's had to carry me out to the ambulance after giving me 3 shots of pain medicine and the pain never subsided. In the ER my blood pressure went to 294 over 190 and I passed out. I had told the nurse that I had taken Cipro and she said that is just an antibiotic. I could not control my bladder. I was given more pain medication and returned a week later to another ER with the same results.

After 2 months in bed I can walk but I have pain in the thigh and back. Now I'm told I have lumbar pain and I have wonderful Physical Therapist's. I will start taking the ACV and Alfalfa.

After reading the many positive comments about alfalfa and tendonitis, I ordered some to try it. I'm happy for the people who found relief with the stuff, but it made my tendonitis ache and hurt more than it ever had. After a few days of taking it, the flare up calmed down for the most part. Tried taking one tablet a week later and the flare up started again.

I'm truly happy for anyone finding relief with alf, but for me its def a no go....

To suffering Patti of Florida:....

USA's "Nature's Sunshine" Alfalfa-Medicago sativa, 340mg each capsule, is what I have been taking for thinning and making the mucous flow in the nostrils better (sorry about that) and it does work long-term for that complaint for me anyway. I take a maintenance dose of either one OR two capsules a day with meals as it has the added plus of all those extra minerals, of which more later on, BUT for Tendonitis one would surely need to take at least their recommended dosage of 2 caps three times per day, again with food. I recommend taking them no later than 30 minutes after meals otherwise wait till the next meal. Some folks on this Site have had to resort to mega doses of Alfalfa to shift Tendonitis but you should check with your favourite doctor or serious naturopath before doing that, especially if you have other medical conditions. The Arabs were so fond of Alfalfa and what it could do for them that they called it the "Father of all Herbs". Don't discount their years of experience as they have been traders for centuries (like Sinbad the Sailor). It is supposed to put down such deep roots that they are able to "mine" the good stuff such as minerals and trace elements in the deeper soil. Whatever, it is certainly a product that contains a lot of diverse nutrition for the human body so should be more popular than it currently seems to be. Certainly, if memory serves me correctly there have been questions asked in the past concerning contra-indications for certain people so best check that side out before over-consuming. Start out with smaller doses if you decide to take this and slowly build up. That gives the body time to adjust anyway.

Tendonitis sufferers seem to have a problem getting nutrients and/or blood flow to the Tendons.

Mama to Many on this Site can offer you more on this subject and under "Tendonitis". You and I both know how painful it can be!!

And one must always remember the old adage:-

Life could be sweet.......if we would only take care of our feet". (Anon).

Cheers and good luck with the foot.

Two posts in the same day might be considered excessive but I will be out of character and keep it brief! Went to the Good Doctor and she sympathized with my knee having tendonitis in an unusual place for a couple of weeks prior. Apparently this normally occurs on the inside but I have to be different and have it on the outside! Typical! This knee never complained before! Doc gave me a sleeve of material to support the knee which helped quite a bit. Sometimes wore it covering knee-cap and sometimes had the thing just below knee-cap. Still not completely happy. Tried some creams I have on hand but still little progress. THEN tried alternate treatments with Grape Seed Oil and then Castor Oil rubbed into the sore spots for a few minutes each time. "Ouch" ..no pain = no gain. Tried to do this a few times each day and have to say I am impressed. Only took two days to show a difference but then everyone on this Site knows I am a Spring Chicken!

Cheers, Michael

Cipro Side Effect
Posted by Dallas (Amesbury, Ma) on 01/06/2017 6 posts

I wrote the first comment here on Cipro way back in 2011. My tendons have never been the same since taking Cipro and for a month or so, I could not walk due to my right Achilles tendon being so sore. I felt like walking would rip it apart. Thankfully, that has improved but my tendons are often sore. I am going to take some of the advice on this site, to hopefully detox.

But, for those of you who have been prescribed Cipro for a UTI, like I was, and don't know where to turn, I finally beat my almost constant UTI/kidney infection problem with Bill Munro's hydrogen peroxide inhalation method. Whenever the infection starts up, I just start back on this method and it is gone pretty quickly.

Oh - and BTW, it seems to me that the infection starts up whenever I eat sugars or grains. It seems it may be a candida issue with me.

Levaquin is another antibiotic that can damage tendons. I took it in February this year (2016) and have suffered since March from tendonitis in both arms and have a partially torn tendon in my foot. The doc wants it to heal naturally and said it may take a year or longer to heal. I am 65 and was very active up until this happened. It is depressing to be "down" but I am going to try the ACV. and maybe the alfalfa.

DO NOT USE A MICROWAVE for ANYTHING! A MICROWAVE KILLS all of the nutrients in food and water. So in essence you are eating DEAD FOOD. It also clumps red blood cells. Spend a little more time and use stove top and oven. I use a small convection oven and it doesn't take very long, it's not as fast as nuking but its a check of a lot healthier.

Hello Sheila from Portland!

I thank you most sincerely for those insightful, Tendonitis observations. The mega doses of Alfalfa that are recommended somewhere on this site as a default remedy of choice intrigued me but that amount would be very expensive over here to take on a long-term basis, so I was hoping for something just as effective but at a more affordable price. The Arabs call Alfalfa the "Father of all Foods" by the way and they have it in sacks in the Souk! ). I have been taking turmeric for many weeks and also ACV and honey for this and other benefits. I find that I can take more turmeric if I incorporate it into a smoothie: just sprinkling it over food will not be enough to make much of a difference I feel. In addition, I have been trialing the Cinnamon (Sri Lankan / Ceylon) and Honey regime after "pulling" with Coconut in the early morning. I am hoping that my increased consumption of Pineapple juice will get more Bromelain into my system. Ted's Boron treatment could be helping me too but I must be more disciplined with this, as I have a poor record of water drinking generally. Lastly, I do find that if I think too much about my tendonitis pain it does seem to increase until I make a conscious effort to put it out of my mind. Think lush, green spaces with a waterfall. I have not heard of serrapeptase before (my spellchecker hadn't either but came up with an interesting alternative! ). Cheers and thanks a lot for writing that wisdom.

I think the key supplements are alfalfa, bromelain, boron, and turmeric.

Tumreric in particular is said to be more effective than ibuprofen for inflammation, a study that used 500 mg x 4 a day.

I also am studying the work of John Sarno and using mind/body techniques. I basically ignore the tendonitis when it flares up and don't focus on it; instead, I focus on any negative emotions I might be repressing (usually related to work).

Finally, to stop the pain, try serrapeptase! This supplement in the dose of 120,000 SPU, taken without food, is an incredible pain reliever. I have had great success with this supplement, and after learning more about all the science supporting turmeric, am investing in a good quality curcumin supplement and will take it regularly.

I have a question for Earth Care and Contributors.

This site recommends Alfalfa as a premier remedy for Tendonitis. I am wondering which of the following would be the best herb to take for tendonitis:

Alfalfa, Bromelain, Devil's Claw, Ginger, Boron, Chanca Piedra or Turmeric? Do we treat tendonitis in a somewhat different way from (for instance) Calcification or Arthritis? Does it require a subtlely different approach? Also, does (or can) tendonitis involve an element of calcification?

I would be very grateful for some enlightenment on this mystery. Thank you in anticipation. Michael

I'm an athlete with mild but chronic tendentious in both of my achilles tendons. I've been self-treating them for about a year after dumping thousands of dollars into doctor prescribed physical therapy and prescription topical anti-inflammatory medications. So far my results have been just as good or better that the doctor prescribed therapy.

After seeing these posts on using alfalfa supplements I decided to try it myself. Amazingly the pain and soreness was significantly reduced by taking 18 supplements a day (9 supplements, 3 times a day). With that success I started to consider other, fresh sources of alfalfa that might work even better. Since I already sprout seeds on a semi-regular basis I decided to try sprouting alfalfa. Turns out that fresh sprouts are even more effective than the dried supplements! I've been eating a large hand-full of sprouts 3 times a day on top of stretching and rolling and have been virtually pain-free! Thank you so much for the advice on this website!

The alfalfa has worked for me too. I have tendonitis in my knee (goosehead) and read on here about the use of alfalfa to reduce inflamation. I'm taking 24 caps a day divided into four doses for the last three days and today the pain is reduced. I will continue with this dose for another week and then taper down. I am also taking apple cider vinegar and doing stretching exercises I learned at physical therapy.

Cipro Side Effect

For those with side effects from taking Cipro, perhaps taking Borax will reverse the damage as this detoxes flouride in the body and restores magnesium and calcium synthesis in the body which is responsible for joint and muscle pain.

It's very easy to take. I make a solution of 500ml filtered water and dissolve a rounded 1/2 teaspoon into this. Leave it to dissolve completely stirring occasionally. Then add 5ml of the borax solution to a glass of filtered or distilled water twice a day. At this strength you can't even taste the borax.

Hi. I didn't know if you still had problems with your infection, but I have never seen a bladder/kidney infection or kidney stones resist Dr. Schultz's K-B Formula and K-B Tea. He is in California and runs the American Botanical Pharmacy. If you follow the Cleanse he has (or just do the best you can to follow it) I can just about guarantee happy results. Even used it in the boonies of Bolivia for someone whose kidneys had become completely blocked by stones. Medical intervention saved her, but she was in extreme pain. There were no juicers out there, but after 1 week she had no pain whatsoever.

Am a professional masseur. Had had tendonitis of especially the right thumb a few years back, but somehow it went again. Have not had any problems for the last few years. Recently the problem came back. Thinking about it I realized that for about 2 months prior, I have been usuing different massage oils. Finished those and am now usuing grapeseed oil again -> thumb much better. Read that grapeseed oil has anti-inflamatory properties, so the two might well be related...

I've been trying to self-diagnose since we don't have health insurance and, as always, came to earthclinic. I'm assuming that I have either tendonitis or bursitis in my shoulders. I had injured my right shoulder several years ago and it took a while to heal on its own, but wasn't painful after that. I broke my right wrist the beginning of this year and was in a cast for about 5 weeks. I believe that was the turning point. Between immobilizing the right arm and overusing the left, I've been in pretty much constant pain in both shoulders... Neither one of them move very freely, so it could also be frozen shoulders. The ache and burning have been very difficult to bare. I started taking the 2 T. ACV and 1 T. honey (raw... very important... and local if you can) twice daily as was recommended by James... What a difference! I've only been taking it for 3 days, but I noticed the difference after the first dose. Just wanted to wait to write about it for fear that it was all in my head! Mind you, I'm nowhere near cured yet, but its been like taking a pain reliever and the burning is completely gone!! I need to search to find some exercises that will help me strengthen both arms without injuring them further, but I feel like that's possible now!! I will continue to take this morning and night! Since I store my ACV in the fridge I warm it slightly in the microwave (hope that doesn't alter it! ) and then put the honey in it to dissolve it, then I add ice water. I tried drinking it as a warm tea-like drink, but just didn't like it as much. The cool drink goes down very easy for me. Thank you earthclinic and everyone who takes the time to let us know what we can do to help ourselves naturally!

A TENS machine is wonderful for curing tendonitis or bursitis. It works like acupuncture. With a doctor's prescription your insurance company will pay for one for you. Just take the prescription to a medical supply store. Apply the TENS pads to the sorest spots and let it run for 30 minutes twice a day. Within three days you will be cured.

I was blown away when I started researching this on the internet and saw the damage this drug does to tendons. I can't believe doctors prescribe this knowing what it can do. My shoulders are weak and painful. I am now taking msm as I heard this repairs tendons and cell structure , I am also taking phenocane for inflamation and pain. Icing the area seems to help and light massage with Traumeel helps also. Any suggestions are helpful.

About 3 yrs ago I sprained my left thumb I worked 365 days a year in my janitorial business and though it hurt I kept using my thumb thinking it would take a little longer to heal but so what. I don't know when the tendonitis set in but I remember I couldn't use the thumb. I did research and no one had a cure. I am no novice with vitamins and supplements as I was taking quite a few at the time.

I did some research and the following are what I attribute to curing the tendonitis. Oh, I ran into some financial problems and stopped taking them it took about 9 months(I guess) for it to come back. Rescue 1250 10 pills a day, GLC 2000 per instructions, hyaluronic acid 50mg 2x a day, MSM 6,000mg a day(start slow), MSM cream 3x or more a day, serrapeptast 80,000IU's, calcium/magnesium 3,000mg a day. ACV 1teaspoon with meals and Ultra Source of Life liquid per instructions. I was already taking some of this anyway I simply added a few and increased dosages. I think the GLC 2000 was the key but its just a guess. I don't know how long it took to go away I just noticed one day it was gone. My guess is 3-4 months. U can experiment after the pain is gone and cut back on a lot of this it is pricey. I cut back on everything by easily 1/2. Good luck!

Thanks Tim and thanks to everybody here! And you are right, a bit of compassion and warmth when you are not feeling well (and even when you are) makes you feel so good..... I don't know what to expect here in Switzerland but as a rule in this part they are not very warm, or maybe they are but they don't know how to show it! We have a last appointment with the surgeon tomorrow afternoon and I hope he will let me come home sooner. Even if I can't do anything I am better off in my own bed with my books and my TV programs in languages that I do speak! My three children where born in Holland many years ago and although I quite like Dutch people the nurses were far too cold and impersonal to the point of frightening me. I was very young, no family around.... But I think that the fact that I was a foreigner didn't impress them either!

Sad to hear that you had to suffer so much but nice you had someone to comfort you! Great that you have recovered and we have you to give us good advice, really appreciated! You know, now people are becoming more and more distant it really makes me happy when I meet people who are warm and friendly! A while ago I was already suffering with my arm and had a horrific cold but had to travel quite a distance on my own by train. As there was an accident the whole schedule was turned upside down and my German not being very good made things even more difficult but I met this wonderful retired Swiss couple and we traveled together from then on! I think that we have now a lasting friendship and they will surely visit us when we move to our new home! So you see..... Many people may not be nice but the nice ones really make a huge difference and I am sure you touched a lot of people's hearts! Bless you!

Francisca, it seems you have many EC members thoughts & prayers going for you.

At your response, I forgot to mention that my devotion as a Nurse Assistant was also rewarded when I was hospitalized w/ non-textbook acute Leukemia. I had major pain and deep tissue damage to feet leaving me completely bedridden for almost 1 yr. But I had one nurse that gave me special attention (especially my feet) and we became good friends.

My hope is that you get some of this "Compassionate Medicine" in your clinic.

-BCAA (branch chain amino acids, use as directed) -muscle milk (protein drink, use as directed) I mixed BCAA into the protein drink.

-work out (exercise w/ dumbells, etc. ) 5 times a week

-stretch the tendon many times in the day, massaging the tendon (bring it to the surface) -after work out, ice tendon for 15 minutes, no more than that.

-Take Glucosamine Chondroitin W/ Msm triple strength 2 times a day

-the Glucosomin, stretching, exercise, and ice do it, don't leave anything out. After two weeks, take a day or two off doing absolutly nothing with that tendon.. then start back... You should feel it healing in about 5 days.. will be able to tell a huge difference in about 3 weeks.

Liz, I am sad to hear that you have the same problem I have. I have recently taken a 400.000 IU of Vit. D because in France you can take one dose which is good for a number of months (you can choose for three, four or six months). I didn't feel any difference. I have it in the upper left arm as well, better than the right as I am right handed. With me only half of the tendon is torn and it created a thickness on the top, the other half is stressed trying to cope. I couldn't go on like this because as I usually don't have pain I keep doing the wrong movements and then it hurts a lot. Two doctors warned me that I can overdo it any time and then it can really go so badly wrong that the operation will be far worse. One can get better with physiotherapy but it seems that you never really cured. I am afraid.... afraid of the operation, afraid of one week in the hospital, afraid of the six weeks with little movement and after that all the physiotherapy just now my husband is going to retire in May but I'm afraid that there is no other choice.

Thanks for caring and please keep me informed of how things go with you. I will try to do the same so you know how it is. Maybe it is better than we both think?

Ruptured Tendon

Francisca - Wishing you well for your upcoming surgery.

I have a very similar problem in my upper left arm that I believe is tendonitis caused by repetitive movement vs. An actual tear. I am still in the 'wait and see' stage hoping that the tincture of time will help. But, since it has affected my range of motion in that arm, I suspect I will end up having it checked out if it's not better within the next month or so.

I found that taking 2,000 IU's of extra Vitamin D helped loosen things up a bit. I was taking 6,000 and bumped it up to 8,000. I'm leary of going higher than that, but can't help wondering if going higher would have helped even further.

In any event, I just wanted to send along my wishes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

Tim, I am not particularly religious but God Bless You!

I am going into the hospital for my arm operation coming Wednesday as I didn't find any other alternative to cure my ruptured tendon. It will surely be a clinical Swiss clinic. I just wish I had someone like you around there.... Not speaking good German it will be a very lonely time. I can't imagine staying a week in that place....... Anyway, see you all when I am back and if I can't answer any of your questions for a while at least I will keep reading all your suggestions! God Bless You All!

Eliminate All Aspartame

The reason is the same for the way it was approved after years of being rejected by the FDA - MONEY. Read how Aspartame was eventually approved by the FDA - crooked politics and money.

Cipro Side Effect
Posted by Sophie (Pdx, Oregon) on 11/24/2011

I was sick for about 10 weeks it began with a yeast infection and soon I had lower abdomen pressure. Frequent urnination, fever and headache. Finally I decided to go to the doctor because all of my natural remedies seem to not be able to end the fever and pressure so I was put on Cipro I'm a vegan, and my doctor gave me 5 days worth told me take it for only 3 days, because I'm so sensitive. Well on the third day my joint and tendons were inflamed it was hard to walk or sleep. I'm amazed that Cipro is prescribed to anyone! After reading how dangerous the side effects are... even when you stop taking Cipro it can still affect your tendons 3-6 months down the road!! I was so freaked out! I drank 2 tablespoons of turmeric in water, vitamin C and magnesuim and I'm going to continue that for a few days. Instead of Cipro I'm taking garlic oil pills every few hours. After, I'm all well I'm going to do a Fluoroide Detox program.

Took drug for 8 days for suspected uti - negative. 62 yo male highly active bicyclist up until recently.

WARNING!

I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST TAKING CIPROFLOXIN!!

I am a 25 year old, 90lbs woman. I was prescribed Cipro for a UTI. After one dose, I felt extremely stiff, nausea, and was having difficulty walking. I decided to lie down (but had to get up to go to the restroom because of the UTI). When I lifted myself out of bed, I heard a loud pop in my achilles tendon and immediately was struck with intense pain. I could no longer put any weight on it--let alone walk.

Turns out after researching, I found out that one of the side effects for Ciprofloxin is ruptured tendons!!! I have greatly suffered from this drug and was unable to walk for months. Luckily, I did not need surgery as some of the tendon is still intact. Though, I am still unable to run on it, carry heavy weight, do streneous activity and that happened 6 months ago! I'm so young and I had to share my story because I don't want anyone to go through the same experience that I did!!

Please read all side effects and try to do research on prescriptions before hand, and decide whether the benefits of those meds truly outweigh the side effects. You may save yourself from serious side effects, a lifelong injury, and excess medical bills!!

Heres to a long and healthy life! ~

You may want to experiment with Zeolite.. I have tried both the liquid (Waiora= too expensive) and the powder.. (Zeoforce).... Preferring the powder for price/quality and the fact that it isn't multi-level marketed. I only take it on occasion but do notice it's effects... Seems to settle my system, lift brain fog.. Do some research on it... However, I am still a little cautious with it as I am waiting for more studies to confirm it's effectiveness in eliminating toxins..

Ted, what are your thoughts on Zeolite?

Cipro Side Effect

I too have been floxed. I will never take any form of the anitbiotics flouroquinillones nor will any member of my family. I took Cipro in January 2011 for an UTI and w/in 3 days my knees felt tight and stiff. By the 5th day my right knee was hurting and swollen and by the 7th day my left knee was the same. A co-worker asked if I was taking an anti-biotic and I told her I was, and she said it could be the cause.

Sure enough, after researching, I found that Cipro can cause tendonitis. On the 8th day I could not even walk and have been struggling to get back to normal ever since. I am not able to run, walk for long periods of time or do any kind of activity. I was completely healthy before taking this medication and now I feel like a handicap person some days. I am only 36 yrs old. Yes it does have flouride in it. It is posion and the FDA knows and still lets this be on the market. Levaquin is the same thing. I have had x-rays, MRI's, you name it, and according to the DR's there is nothing wrong w/me. It is very frustrating and I am hoping to find a cure on this website. Something to flush this poison out of my body. My wrists, hands, fingers, ankles, toes and kness have all been effected by this crap. If anyone has any suggestions, please help!!

WARNING!

For anyone out there with tendon problems ie: tendinitis (tendonitis) please beware and search this out on the web. If you ever take the antibiotic Cipro, or anything in the same family, take note that Cipro, or members of the same family, can cause tendon inflammation and even tendon rupture! This is along with a long list of other side effects including death. I have just been on Cipro, having started taking it for a severe kidney infection. When I started to get back some old tendon pain issues, I looked Cipro up on the web and sure enough, it can be a killer for tendons - even long after you take the medication. I finished my Cipro a couple of weeks ago, and the tendon pain is increasing rather than decreasing. I also had many other painful symptoms (back pain, neck pain, headache etc... ) while on Cipro. And the darned infection has returned! I refused Cipro this time around and am on Bactrim. I am almost afraid to look up the side effects of this drug. If it wasn't for the sake of my kidneys............
