You can't overdose on D3. You can overdose on the other forms of D. According to Mayo clinic you can use 80,000 iu of D3 per week for kids under 18 for viruses. 20 minutes out in the sun gives you around 20,000 iu of D3.

Gina. It looks like more than a simple iron deficiency here. Watch Dr Lonnie Hermon Youtube videos for anemia. The issue is not that you are getting sufficient Iron, but that the iron or Red Blood is being depleted by disease like hemolytic anemia. In simple terms, something is destroying your blood. Have you any diagnostics like Blood Counts of White, Red, and Platelets???
Aspirin
Posted by Mama To Many (Tennessee, Usa) on 08/11/2015
Dear Art in California,
You recently shared a recipe to Oscar for a topical treatment for pain. That was quite fascinating! In your post, you also mentioned that aspirin had some anti-viral properties. I believe Ted has said the same thing.
I have tried to look this up and am not finding much information about it. I am not doubting it, because it seems to me that when I would take Alka Seltzer back in college, that it seemed to do more than just temporarily relieve symptoms. So I am wondering if you know any more about the anti-viral properties of aspirin or if this is something you have learned through experience?
I am always on the lookout for effective and inexpensive remedies!
If anyone else has thoughts or experience on this topic, I would love to hear.
Thanks so much!

Vitamin C
Posted by Mactwo (Beatty, Oregon) on 02/23/2015
Vitamin C is the most powerful of supplements for all virus. All vitamins/minerals are important for the immune system and whole body health. I have been for 52 years. At 83 years and in excelent health.
Eat fruits with the supplements. Increases the effectiveness.
Few people understand the crippling effects to the immune system by toxic refined sugars, processed vegetable oils, junk foods, chemicals in processed foods, all soft drinks, soy, soy milk, microwave, deep fried foods and artificial sweeteners. The excess sugars in the body are used by fungus, yeasts, parasites, diseases to grow and replicate. Cause allergies, bipolar, depression, obesity. B 3 has a positive effect on depression, nerve damage and bipolar. Research???

I would try taking vitamin C (as much as you can tolerate without diarrhea every two hours) and trace minerals, especially selenium. I have been reading some interesting research about how selenium drives out viruses. Toxic dose is believed to be about 5000mcg, supposedly as little as 200mcg daily shows benefit. Hope you get better and please let us know what works for you!

Paula: A 6 year old gets the flu, eats some ice cream and drinks a pop, and recovers. A 60 year old gets the flu, takes all the best remedies, and does not. The reason is the thymus. The thymus of a 6 year old is the size of a kiwi fruit. The thymus of a 60 year old is the size of a pea. Jack La Lane died at 95 from the flu. His thymus was the size of a grain of rice. The plan has 2 parts. Regrow the thymus. This takes awhile. Strengthen the backup systems. This can be done very rapidly. Before there was an immune system there were just individual cells. They have good defenses when fed properly. You can go on a raw whole food program. This includes organic fruits, organic whole sugars, honey, and activated barley for carbs, green smoothies from organic baby leaves, chili, and parsley for veggies, for protein and saturated fat take 4oz/day raw grass fed hamburger, 30g/day black chia for unsaturated fat, sun dried sea salt, skate liver oil, and 90,000hu cayenne. If you have not been taking a d3 supplement then scroll down to my earlier post vitamin b-1 for proper d3 loading. To regrow the thymus take reishi extract from Washington, Astragalus in liquid phyto caps from North Carolina, and colostrum.

When I was a small child, I was given radiation treatments to shrink my thymus. Apparently this was in vogue at the time, as I have friends who had the same treatments. Curious if anything different should be done than trying to regrow it at my mid-50's age.

Thank you so much for the recent newsletter and the testimonial by Dave Thomas. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It's strange that you sent it to me when you did because I've been at my wits end lately, fighting what I perceived to be a virus. Actually, my husband passed it along to me when he came down with it a few days after Halloween. It started with a nasty head cold with lots of congestion and I was shocked when I came down with it too because I haven't had a head cold in years, but I suppose being at such close quarters with hubby, it was logical that I'd get it as well. Anyway, no sooner was my husband's cold in full swing, I too found my sinuses congested to the max, and about the same time, we both developed a hacking cough which also involved a lot of congestion. This bothered me because I have NEVER been without CS in the house since I take it for practically everything, but for some strange reason, it didn't seem to be working very well this time. I had us both on a two tablespoon dose three times a day along with some herbal cough syrup and then added some extra vitamin C, D3, etc. along with Cayenne pepper capsules and Oil of Oregano capsules. I figured bringing out the big guns would surely knock out whatever was attacking us.
We had to stay home from work a day here and there since we had intermittent fever, though certainly nothing really high, and after a day or two, we'd feel a bit better and go back to work only to find that we were relapsing into the same state of being sick and feeling completely devoid of energy. Nevertheless, I kept us on the remedies and finally a few days before Thanksgiving, we were what you might consider, well enough to celebrate with the family, though not bouncing with energy by any means. Still, since we weren't feverish, had no head congestion, and only an annoying intermittent ticklish cough, we didn't feel that we'd contaminate anyone. So far we're still feeling almost back to normal, though here it is beginning of December and the effects of the virus....whatever it was... is just now fading away.
I have no idea what kind of viral infection we've had but needless to say that I was amazed that the CS didn't knock it out right away since we've relied on it so much over the past several years. It's been quite a learning experience and I don't know what if anything we should have done differently?
Any suggestions would be appreciated, though I know you can only relate personal experiences.
Once again, thanks for the timely newsletter and I look forward to the next one with anticipation. Best regards, Mare

Thanks for the reply Dave. I wasn't aware that drops of the CS could be used in the ear canal, or the sinuses, however I'll try that next time. I knew about using Hydrogen Peroxide in the ears, but since we were taking so many remedies, I didn't think to try that this time. And while I'm on about the ear canal....how often should the CS be applied?
Thank goodness we're all better now after relentlessly keeping on with the home remedies and hope it's the last we'll see of any more viral infections at our house. Stay well everybody. Mare

Hello Tim,
Thank you for your great question: I'm all for trying out different things...the eclectic idea. If you want to alternate, that's fine but I'd alternate after a full three weeks on one and then the Beck's and then the Zapping. Not all mixed. After all, if one works, you'd want to know that it was a specific one that helped. Then you go to another protocol with a different one, and that one maybe didn't help, so you know to eliminate the second...etc.
What do you think?

Looks like it depends on the severity of the case. For many folks, disease is usually well advanced before it becomes an obvious issue. So yes, try one substance for a few weeks and measure results, and if no results add another. Also, cleaning up the external & internal environment may be essential for rebuilding the immune system.

Hi all, I hope someone out there can help. I have been diagnosed with being infected with the Human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV). It is a particularly nasty and debilitating virus, symptoms of which cause arthritis and various pains, rashes on the body and sores/blisters in the mouth and gums.
I only recently found out I have this virus and believe I may have been infected more then 3 yrs ago, as it was then that I experienced all these aches and pains that the doctors diagnosed as arthritis. Anyway I have been reading various remedies on EarthClinic with great interest. In particular interested in using BHT to treat it seeing as Oscar and many others have used it to successfully treat their Hepatitis. Do you think BHT will work with the HTLV Virus ?
Look forward to your response thanks.

Hello Oscar & Bill from Philippines. I have had a problem with a pain in my chest that would radiate up into my jaw and ear on the right side and give me a panic attack. I had found that it was not a heart attack. I would feel spaced out when this happens. Would you have any idea what is causing this? I cannot drink a beer or enjoy it. I always have a taste in my mouth. If you have any idea on how to treat this or have a name for it, it would be appreciated. Thank you

I am wondering as a long time consumer of BHT (4 life extension), & a new consumer of Lyposomal (livonlabs) "C"; If the BHT might lessen the beneficial "lipid-coating" of the "C" (as if it were a lipid-coated virus)? Or, since viruses are not known to have Ultrasonic Vibration capabilities, perhaps this is not a problem & the BHT might help the "C" & visa versa? The bottom line is I do not want to give up the long term benefits of BHT, or miss out on the benefits of Lypo C... Thanks for any help you can give, Ray

Oil Pulling, Castor Oil Packs

I have been oil pulling 2x/day 4-5x/wk since Jun 14, 2010 and began using castor oil packs on my stomach Jul 19, 2010. I plan on using 3-5x/wk.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I am looking to rid my body of a virus as well as remove toxins. I am curious how long I should continue with this. I feel my symptoms are slightly worse but read this is to be expected. Should I continue? Should I choose one method only? Would love any suggestions people may have.

Hi Ted,
I was wondering if this sounds about right for viruses:
For the first 3 days take Aspirin (any mg suggestions?)
Take Zinc 50mg (either acetate, choloride or gluconate) for about a month max. You mentioned taking this in a crushed or chewed form..or powdered form...where can I get that?
Take 6 drops of 3% food grade h202 in 1 glass of water 4x a day
Followed by 1 fresh squeezed lemon or lime with 1/4 baking soda until fizz stops and then add water 3x a day
Take Magnesium supplements 250 mg a day
Take Chromium chloride, sodium vanadate and tungsten (should I take all 3 or just one, and if just one or all three how many mg?)
Would it be over kill to inhale the h202 as well?
What do you mean by salt form of mineral rather than organic form?
Do you think this remedy for 1 month could kill a low grade form of HPV?

Thank you Linda for your post. You are exactly right, I actually had to go to the ER the day after my post because my lungs had filled with fluid to the point that I knew that being stubborn would probably be my demise.Come to find out that I have pneumonia.Thankfully I sought care before my five year old rolls over to find that mommy is blue and cold. I suppose when all else fails, there is a place for the allopathic medicine. I'm just glad that regardless of my finances I went. You are such a kind woman for caring and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I think I will stick to the natural as usual for colds and such, but for the serious stuff I will stick to the pro's. Liquid HP for babies?
Im desperate! My baby and my entire family have what we assume is RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) a virus that appears as a cold with like symptoms but sometimes presents itself as a runny tummy. So the symptoms are very varied and no-one can tell unless you go for tests, which I dont really have th money for. The other thing is that you get infected and re-infected over and over. On doing some research they say that the only treatment, since nothing works not even antibiotics, which my baby has been on for about 2 months with breaks in between. Anyway the research says that the only possible solution is oxygen... so I thought maybe a few drops of HP?? Please tell me this will work, I've having sleepless nights for the last 2 months and its really getting us all down and more unhealthy. PLEASE HELP ME! If you have any info or guidelines as to how much HP I can administer to a baby and the safety of it used in babies, please let me know. It scares me to administer it to her - she's 9 months old by the way.

Paul, I am on week 3 of that same virus! Exactly the symptoms you are talking about. Light plegm, scratchy cough! I have tried high doses of vitamin c, vitamin d, elderberry extract, homeopathic remedies for coughs, multi vitamins. Would get better, then come back.
Since yesterday I am doing the hydrogen peroxide inhalation method every 3 hours and sipping straight apple cider vinegar with a little hot water added. Felt better right away. The straight acv has stopped the cough right away. I just need to remember to keep sipping it. Not so bad if you add hot water.

I'm not sure this poster worded this correctly. She refers to 3% and then "food grade" as if they are 2 things. I assume the 3% she is referring to is store bought?
Please understand that most of us purchase what is referred to as 35% FOOD GRADE hydrogen peroxide. This is very strong stuff so IT MUST BE DILUTED. In order to obtain the 3% solution you are wanting, you then mix roughly 1 part of the 35% hydrogen peroxide to 11 parts of distilled water. THIS now becomes exactly the same as the drug store stuff - "a 3% solution".... EXCEPT for it has no stabalizers in it. Please read up on this online. FOOD GRADE hydrogen peroxide is the one recommended for ingestion. While the other will work in a pinch and many use it, if you can obtain the food grade AND DILUTE IT- DO NOT DRINK 35%!!! You will have a 3% solution. If you are at all confused, please google it.
