This is a remedy I have seen other people use around me in India for arthritis. I teaspoon of ground cinnamon powder, mixed with 1 teaspoon pure, organic honey. Take it in the morning before you eat anything. And do not eat/drink anything for 30 minutes after. Drinking water is fine. You should see effect within a week, if not within days.

Hi. My sister has RA very bad (35 yrs. Old) Is currently taking weekly injections of Humira with horrible side affects & other RX pills. How do you take the cinnamin & honey? do you mix in hot water? I would love to tell her about "natural ways" to help w/ her RA thanks. Love EC"

01/22/2011: Lemarque from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia replies: "Hi Mountain Girl. RA as you know is an autoimmune condition, which firstly makes it very difficult to manage and in the advanced stages pharmaceutical intervention is often necessary to enable the person to function. Both honey and cinnamon are very good anti-flammatory agents and your sister could certainly take them combined in water (2t-spoons honey and 1/4 t-spoon cinnamon) but she may find it a little unpalatable. I would suggest combining them into a fresh fruit/vegetable juice or non-dairy smoothy. There is a very effective Vermont Folk Medicine remedy which she may consider. In a glass of water add 2 t-spoons of honey and 2 t-spoons of ACV and drink morning and night. She could simply add the cinnamon to this cocktail if she wishes. Hope this helps."

My blood sugar was consistantly 126, which is high pre- diabetic. I read the results of several cinnamon trials and began taking three 500 mg. capsules of it around two years ago. My fasting blood sugar dropped to between 89 -103, and has remained at that level. I am tested at a local senior citizens center once a month. It is a finger-stick test. A serum test once was 106.

I would like to know how much cinnamon on toast Jeff took and if there was anything else he did. I am having diarrhea with fever & am being treated for bladder infection.I am on antibiotics and I am trying to treat diarrhea naturaly. Appreciate comment."

[YEA ] 03/09/2009: Jo from Terry, Montana, United States replies: "I tried the cinnamon sugar toast recipe after having had diarrhea for five days. I made two slices before bed on the fifth night and went to bed. The next morning I didn't feel gas in my abdomen anymore. Then I put approximately one teaspoon of cinnamon in my oatmeal. By that night I was feeling 100% better."

07/09/2010: Matthew from N. Las Vegas, Nevada replies: "I have had steady diarrhea for two weeks now. I became concerned when I woke up with a mess in my bed! I take alot of vitamins and herbs and thought that might be it. I stopped them all two days ago and no better. I found this site and was looking for something around the house I could use. I tried a tsp of cinnamon on two pieces of toast each with some sugar. That was over an hour ago and the pressure in my lower stomach is gone and I don't currently feel a "pressing need" to run to the toilet! Thanks! I'll keep doing this and see how it goes!

Nausea

Diarrhea (ailment) and Cinnamon (cure): My boyfriend had a stomach virus and was in awful pain. He was throwing up and using the bathroom around every 5-10 minutes. It was to the point where he had nothing left to expell but water and bile. I finally convinced him to drink a tea mix I made. I used- 1 cinnamon stick, broken up with a scissor a big pinch of ground ginger pinch of ground mustard a pinch of ground cloves (or 2 whole) I let it steep from boiling to drinkable temperature. He started getting better almost instantaneously. It stopped not only the diarrhea, but also the throwing up and the incredible pain. I never saw anything work so fast!

WARNING!

For last one week I am drinking cinnamon powder and honey in water to reduce fat in my body as per your advice. But after starting to do this I have started getting rash on my face and scratching of my eyes skin. Please advise me whether it is because of honey and cinnamon. My skin was always smooth without any rash or pimples.

Sinus Issues

Each year I have sinus drainage which results in throat problems. I read somewhere that cinnamon oil is a natural antibiotic so I thought I would try it to treat my sore throat and sinusitus. Sincerely it works to assuage the complications that occur when these things are allowed to run their course without a series of antibiotics. Note that if you do not catch the problem in its early stages and you begin to develop an ear infection this will burn like crazy when it hits the eustration tube of your inner ear. It will cause no harm but it literally feels like your inner ear is on fire. It works to open sinus drainage if you use a dropper and place two or three drops on the back of your mouth's roof top. Larger doses cause minor stomach irritation. Pregnant women should avoid all forms of cinnamon like the plague; as cinnamon can cause premature labor

Bedbugs

Bedbugs can live for a year without feeding on anything. They can even live in a year (at least) in an empty apartment. Are you sure it was the cinnamon? http://www.wired.com/2014/10/essential-oils-fail-killing-bed-bugs/

I started having nose bleeds, again. My brother told me to sniff a little cinnamon and that would stop it and clot it. It worked.

I have been a type one diabetic for around 7 years and most of the knowledge I have about it has come from my curiosity about my ailment. I read an article about cinnamon in a diabetes magazine that suggested it helped blood sugar control, and I have been using about a table spoon in a half cup of apple sauce, and I have been finding that my waking blood sugars and throughout the day have become much tighter and I have lowered my insulin levels slightly because I simply don't need as much. I am still tinkering with the mix, but my blood sugar has definitely seen change for the better since I added some cinnamon

Be careful with cinnamon. There is a chemical in table cinnamon which is a carcinogenic. Don't take it over a long time. Make sure you buy the kind that is "Cinnulin PF". My physician has his phd in nutrition and is the head of Integrative Medicine. He rarely puts anyone on pharmaceuticals.
