Skin keratinosis & Iodine: I used a drop of iodine on a small patch of skin on my hand that just wouldn't respond to anything. It was like a small white scab. Each time the area would scab from the iodine I would tear it so the new application could get under the skin. After a couple of weeks the area was completely smooth and the keratinosis is gone. I used only one drop each application. I used the Lugols brand in liquid form. Since iodine stains your skin for a few days, if the area is on an obvious spot like your face, I'd suggest waiting until it dries then using makeup. At the same time as this treatment I used a tablespoon of SuperGreens PhytoFood from NutriPlex Formulas.
