I have been taking Apple Cider Vinegar 2x daily since I read how amazing it was for you on this site a few months ago... (in 10oz hot water with a little raw honey) but today my friend who I got to start taking it showed me the most amazing way to take it- especially if you dislike the taste. She makes a tea pot with 1 bag of ginger tea, and 1 bag of apple tea and then adds the ACV. It was AMAZING! And great hot or cold - I really could drink this all day long - and you hardly taste the ACV. She carries it to work in a glass jar and sips it throughout the day.

I really believe ACV is life-altering in the best way. I feel like it clears out your body and being.

One of my friends was sick with a flu or a little virus and he took the recommended bath by Dr. Hazel Parcells - 2 cups of ACV in a hot bath - stay in for 20-25minutes till the water turns a bit cold.... And sipped a cup of warm water, 2 TBS ACV and some raw honey. He fell asleep for over 10 hours and woke up feeling better! He said his whole body relaxed deeply and I am sure in his sleep his body was healing.

I am convinced that ACV is something that we all need daily!

.. I have a wonderful recipe that is also very healthy... Boil 32 oz of water for a tea, turn off heat and add 4 tea bags of rasberry zinger, add 1 table spoon of raw honey and 8 tablespoons of ACV. Pour over ice and simply sip through out the day..... The tea and the honey cut the taste and after the first sip you almost can't stop drinking the stuff ...Enjoy

I have been drinking 1 tbls of ACV in 12oz of unsweetened Grapefruit juice and 1 tbls of Organic Honey 3x a day for 1wk. I have lost 10lbs so far and have more energy then I've had for a long time. The grapefruit juice dilutes the vinegar enough that all you taste is the juice. I almost want to drink it all day but I don't want to over do it. Can you over do ACV in a day?

For those asking what you can add to the ACV to make it sweeter, just add the ACV to a glass of apple juice and you can barely taste it. I just started with 1 t. In a small glass of apple juice and it just tastes like apple cider. I'll be increasing that to 2 t. Soon. I'll be experimenting with the ACV, water, and apple juice mixtures in a big bottle that I can sip throughout the day. I'll post the results soon.

I became a vegetarian 5 months ago and am also a breastfeeding mom. I thought my loss of energy was simply a side effect from the birth and being up a lot at night. I started the "tonic" you describe a few weeks ago - a friend suggested it to me. WOW! My husband and I call it our "hippie drink" - 1-2tsp black strap molasses 1-2tsp apple cider vinegar (with the mother) 1-2tsp blue agave in purified water (about 8 oz.) - it will really rev you up in the morning an make you feel cleansed.

I don't usually go for "health food" or "organic" or "natural" remedies... but I'm totally convinced about apple cider vinegar. I hope I don't offend anybody on this site; I put a big splash of acv in a 32 oz bottle with a packet of peach ice tea mix and lots of water and ice. I love it! Another recipe is to add a splash of acv and an equal splash of lime juice to 32 oz of water and ice. Sweeten with agave (another new discovery!) to taste. Wonderful!!

I have been racking my brain trying to come up with a way to get my kids to take ACV. Drinking it in water is out of the question, but today I mixed 2 tbsp ACV, 1/4 tsp baking soda in 8 oz of organic apple juice and you can't taste the vinegar at all. Just tastes like apple juice. This might be a solution for those who want the benefits but not the taste.

It is most enjoyable to mix the daily dose of apple cider vinegar with grapefruit juice - the slightly bitter taste neutralizes the astringency of the vinegar. I use one table spoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of grapefruit juice.

I add a little amount to salt to reduce the sourness of vinegar. I sometimes make a drink with lemon juice, water, salt and little honey or sugar and add some crushed mint leaves. The drink is refreshing specially during the summers.

I am surprised I haven't read about my ACV concoction, unless I've just missed it. I mix 1-2 tablespoons (depending on the need) with about 8 ounces of very cold all natural apple juice. I drink one first thing in the morning and about an hour before bed. I've learned to truly love the mix. It generally tastes like a very tart apple cider. You can adjust the amount of juice to control the dilution ratio of the ACV accordingly to your personal taste. It will obviously cost you more if you choose to mix the ACV with more juice. I hope this helps...

This is a tonic my husband swears by...1 cup/mug of warm water (not boiling,) 2 tsp. of raw natural honey, 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar and one tsp. of BLACK STRAP molasses. This tonic gets him going in the morning. He also uses it when he has worked hard and his feet/muscles are sore.

I started on acv about a week ago for weight loss. I started slow with one tsp and have been building up. In the last few days I have just been adding a splash to each glass of water I have, as I drink a lot durring the day. I make a tall glass of ice water with the acv and the juice of 1/4 a lime. It's quite good! The lime compliments the acv well and takes out some of the bitterness.
