Might I suggest the use of dates to both Q&A as I feel silly to reply to a possible 2006 question in 2011. Anton

EC: Hi Anton,

For the most part, any post on the site that doesn't have a date on it is pre-2006!

Hi Everyone,

Earth Clinic's June e-newsletter has just been sent out. Click here to read our latest newsletter on Vitamin C. In the newsletter you'll find the following two articles: one by Bill Thompson entitled, Vitamin C - More than Just an Anti-Oxidant and another by Daniel P. Kray entitled, Caution: Is There an Excitotoxin in Your Supplement?

We will be adding these articles to our Vitamin C supplements page as well: https://www.earthclinic.com/supplements/vitamin_c.html

Enjoy!

Hi Peggy.... Yes, I do supplement with an HRT. It works for me. I realize alot of people are not comfortable trying a HRT, but I did try all the natural products that were recommended, and did so much reading. None of it did the job like a low dose of Ogen. It's a conscious choice I made to stay on it. I hope the drink works for you.

I have the same problem Peggy so I have given up searches!

By the way, be careful with the hormone replacement therapy, I don't think that I would ever go anywhere near it although I am 53. If I ever think that I need something like that I will look for alternatives!

Still a little confusing. My posts do come up but then I click on them and a whole list of other information comes up on a page. Should be a list with just my questions and answers to find easier.

Thank you for all your information. I haven't started the morning drink mix yet and will probably wait till this weekend to start when I'm not taking care of the grandkids. You mentioned the "balancing hormones" etc. So I'm hoping that this is all safe to take while I'm still taking hormone replacement medication. I seem to remember you saying that you still took a low dose as well?

Peggy, I'm sorry, but I haven't checked this site for a couple of days. In answer to your question, I eat Vegan the rest of the day.... Started that about a little over 3 wks ago. Helps me with my energy level, since my system doesn't have to work harder to break down meat, dairy, etc. PGX is something I saw on Dr. Oz. He had John Gray on talking about balancing hormones, sex, etc. And the recipe was in his latest book and that's what I followed. He listed the PGX and after reading about it, it acts like a fiber to fill you up. If you google it, you"ll find it in some weight loss drinks. It could cause gas, so that's why you start out with 1/4tsp. and work up. Drink lots of water. I hope this works for you.

I love this site and the information on it BUT why is it so hard to get answers to my questions? I can't even find my posts and/or the answers to them. Should be an easier way.

After posting a recipe for fermented salsa under the fermented foods section of this site, I thought it would be a great idea to post healthy recipes in a section for that purpose.

BTW, I love this site, though I am a newcomer, I love to contribute my knowledge and experiance.

Hello, I was wondering if a page could be added for Oil of Oregano as a remedy? I understand it has quite a few uses and it is very potent. What do you think?

Andreea

EC: It is listed under supplements under oregano oil: https://www.earthclinic.com/supplements/oregano-oil.html

Hi Karivao... EC is a search-driven site so, in order to find what you want, you must know what to put into the search box at the top right of the EC page.

For instance, if you want Ted's recommendations for a flu cure, then just type "Ted flu cure" in the EC search box. If you want to know Ted's alkalizing remedies then just type "Ted Alkalizing Remedies" in the EC search box. In all these search results, you will only ever get results containing your search words.

The other method is to click on the Ailments tab on EC -- select an ailment and go to that page. As is the same on all ailments pages, track down until you see a list of sections for that page on the right hand side. Usually, at the top and with a dark green background there will be a "Question & Answers" section -- and this is where Ted(as well as others) also gives specific recommendations.

I have spent two hours reading this site but still cannot find "Ted's recommendations" that are so often referenced and would seem the key information that would be useful in curing that which ails me. Please indicate where these suggestions are located and take note that they are extremely difficult to find... If they do exist. Thank you!

Patti, I don't think that people refrain from answering other people's questions on purpose but if you don't come to the site everyday you end up missing postings. It has happened to me that someone seems to be waiting for an answer from me and I never saw it. Deirdre is trying to set up a feature so that we get a warning sent to us that someone is trying to contact us or that there are new postings on that thread, that way you can keep track of who is trying to get more information or maybe to give you information because that happens as well. I think that most people here are very helpful, I mean, I am sure of that!

It seems that when someone posts information that has helped them & then another person asks specific questions about the products they used or where to find it, they never seem to answer? Why is that? If you're going to post something that has helped you, please answer peoples questions. Thank you

Hello,

I'm new to EC and I made a comment on the HS page under Tumeric (04/24/11) and I didn't want my comment to be under someone elses comment, mine was a comment not a reply.

I just looked at my comment and it's under someones comment that has nothing to do with my issue.

I wanted to post my own comment - not sure how to do that - I just keep seeing reply.

Could you please tell me how to post comments on the HS page under Tumeric.

Thanks.

EC: Hi Justsayin,

Starting a new thread or topic is simple: Just click on the "Give Feedback" button on the right side of the browser window or the "Submit Posts" link at the top of the page and write your post!

We just deleted and reposted your feedback on Hidradentis Suppurativa in a new thread.

I don't think you can get NIGARI from Asian supermarkets........ even those Japanese ones won't stock it.

Hi Summer, Nigari is pronounced like the English Knee-Gah-Ree. (Gah like Got but without the T. Ree like Read but without the D. ). Look "Nigari" on Youtube for the supplement drop commerical. The woman in the beginning says it with an accent but the Japanese guy later in the video says it right.

Enjoy!
