Hello,
I'm new to EC and I made a comment on the HS page under Tumeric (04/24/11) and I didn't want my comment to be under someone elses comment, mine was a comment not a reply.
I just looked at my comment and it's under someones comment that has nothing to do with my issue.
I wanted to post my own comment - not sure how to do that - I just keep seeing reply.
Could you please tell me how to post comments on the HS page under Tumeric.

Would someone please explain how to pronouce "nigari" phonetically? I don't want sound like an idiot when calling Asian supermarkets to make a purchase. :) Thank you

Hi Summer, Nigari is pronounced like the English Knee-Gah-Ree. (Gah like Got but without the T. Ree like Read but without the D. ). Look "Nigari" on Youtube for the supplement drop commerical. The woman in the beginning says it with an accent but the Japanese guy later in the video says it right.

Hello- been referring to this site for years... thank you.
I am very disappointed that Google fuels your search, and lately it has not been working properly. Google reports to the Powers that be aka the gov't. as to whom searches for what, from what I understand.
That's bad enough, but also, I have been using the search as of late, and it doesn't work. The links to pages on your site work, but the searched word is not on the pages returned from the search.

Thank you for your feedback.
I've just tested the search function on multiple browsers and don't see the issue you have written about. However, I have asked one of the programmers to test it out as well. If you can provide more information (ie., the key words you used in your search), it would be very helpful. You might try clearing your history and cache and then restarting your browser. The programmers make changes to some of the main files on the site quite frequently and if you have an old file from the site, it might cause some issues.

I have the same problem when searching the website. I put in what I'm searching for, click for the searched words to be highlighted, and they are not. It's very hard to find what you're looking for. I assumed that this was the norm. By the way, all my computers are Macintosh so I don't know if that matters.

I don't do searches anymore because I never manage to open the pages. The searches I have done in the past were connected with finding postings, either mine or someone elses, you see the headlines but then no page opens. Also if someone sends a link sometimes instead of opening the link you are sent to another EC page so I just copy the link and paste on another page. I just fill in the search option on the top of the EC page. I have to say that I feel less and less safe using the Internet as people can Google anything you write at any time, for many years. Not a nice feeling........ I feel that Google should be there for finding certain pages, not everything people write......

Hi, I have to agree with this poster--I just tried three of the mind and body "resource" links, and all three went no where. Specifically these ones did not work: cherokees.org, the "yoga" link, and the "edible wild" link. Some worked, but these three didn't. Just an FYI.

Hi there, The highlight does not work for me either. I don't use the search box unless absolutely necessary, as you go to the page and then you have to read everything to try and find the word you are looking for. The highlighted word/s used to show up and I could just scroll down the page till I saw an highlighted area. It stopped showing any highlights for me sometime last year. Oh and I use Windows 7. Apart from this I love and appreciate this site very much. Thanks.

two weeks ago I went online to ask a question about my dog having a bladder problem the answer I was looking for was not given and I chose not to accept the dr's answer but I was still charged.. the bank will not return the money it says I have to go to you.

Deirdre, thank you for setting this donation page for Ted. Why is it that you only come to know about Ted's concussions two weeks later? Also, I just come to know today even though I check the site everyday. Just a suggestion, maybe you can add a link or a tab 'Announcements' where only you can post like the 'About Ted' post so everybody can easily learn the latest news. I also receive the newsletter but not this one. Anyway, thanks for the great work on this site and please keep us updated on this.

Thank you for your feedback.
It is not unusual for weeks to go by when Ted is out of contact with Earth Clinic. He's been very busy treating patients in Thailand the past few years, so we don't hear from him as much as we used to. He did send me a brief email about his accident when he was able to type a few words and I called him immediately.
Having an announcements page is a great idea, thanks for the feedback. The problem is that finding a spot to put a link to such a page is getting very tricky lately. The site is already too busy, which is an issue we will try to address in the next design!

I just love this site, it has been a god send and much more. I cannot express in such few short words of how It has changed my whole life as well as my loving pets. I have a fungi disease, I had this disease since birth, it has progressed way beyond it's explanation in the scientific field, this disease has compromised my bone density to very thin resullts, my eyes, my memory, my attitude and much, much more.
At the present time I am 100% handy-capped; recently I had decided to give up and just let things happen, I was eating a half gal. of ice cream every two or three days along with my main meal and several candy bars, cookies and or a cake.
I strongly feel where there is fungus there are parasites. One of my doctors said there was algea present: one of these diseases the picture is a plant like growth that grows as long as the body, it also stems outward. The other statement here states: Toxoplasma gondi: two of my brothers died very young from toxins which caused heart failure in one and just plain toxins by the ?00000000 (thou. )I am now as of a week ago decided to take my life back and hold on because I plan on living a few more years. I never knew there was life after death until I found this website. Thank you millions for giving us this great chance at life once again. Here I was sitting here thinking no one cared, everyone acted as if they didn't dare go against Drs. orders, the worse case scenario is that it's sad that Drs. go to school for many years and are forced to cover up the govs. lies and schemes not so much for profit but for power.
I wish everyone the best in life, I hope for all to be healthy and take nothing for granted as I once did with my own life. With this website we can all make this come together & work to the best of our abilities. Thank you to all the people that sponsor this site. god bless.

I was reading one of Ted's cures and thought, I would really love to meet him and of course earthclinic staff and guests. Have you ever considered having maybe a fair or something like that? I think it would be so fun and people could exchange ideas and maybe holistic healers and farmers could sell their wares. Just an idea!

Thanks a whole lot to EC and its contributors. I am now into organic soap making business and THANKS GOD its gaining popularity because of its effectiveness. Why I have to thank all of you for reason that it had help me and inspired me a lot in combining my additives. I am using ACV, molasses, honey, turmeric, guave leaves, pomelo leaves, kamias leaves, aloe vera, rose hips, lemon, moringa leaves And incorporate aroma therapy oils in it. I also have my home made Toner and moisturizer which had helped a lot of people with skin impurities such as pimples, rashes, etc. My skin is great at age 51.
A dermatologist got interested and wants to order soaps for her patients. I couldnt have gone this far if not from your sharing. My soap business was just circumstancial never in my wildest dream that I would be a producer but this site had really inspired me. I cannot thank you enough. I love this site too!!! . I surf for an hour or so every day I am not working. I have recommended many of the remedies to my family & co-workers & they are so amazed. They come to me & ask what to do for this & this & I will refer them to EC!!!! This has gotta be driving the big pharma Crazy since so many people are going "back to old remedies"
