Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation and smoking:
I have been reading through many different forums on the internet and find wanrning sbout HP inhalation and smoking. I have also been trying to quit and have heard that after 72 nicotine is completely out of your system. My concern is, that using the inhalation method will break up all the nicotine and it will get into the blood stream and cause heart failure. how true is this and is there anyone out there that smokes and uses this method. I really want to start using HP inhalation cause of my congestion and shortness of breath but i am concerned about the side effects of smoking.

I am using food grade (diluted correctly) hydrogen peroxide with the inhaling method
6 pumps / 5 times day.
The 'nebulizer' also did the trip for me.
Once I tried this (from reading this post) I was amazed!
What a high I got and rush of energy!
Clarity and a great sense of well being as well.
I have been going through some 'healing crisis' since I tried a H202 bath and drank some 3% (food grade) as well.
Unfortunately many of the spray bottles we all find don't all work that well.
Many just spray a semi fine mist or even steams of liquid.
Then not much gets into the lungs.
A good quality one is needed or possibly the portable nebulizer.
I already had a nasal/throat steamer that I got from my acupuncturist.
It is really the same as the nebulizer but you just push your face into the cup and steam flows into your face. You can either set it for forced breathing or having it flow to you.
My nebulizer is not very practice to take around but first thing in teh morning wil do the trick!
I am going to search for a high quality nasal sprayer though (misting)

To Pam: I have been doing the peroxide inhalation on and off for the last 2 years and can tell you it doesn't necessarily give you more energy if you have candida and fungus issues. The peroxide is superb for viruses though. Try an anti-yeast diet and you should feel more energy within a few days!

I have been inhaling peroxide for about a month now-the first couple of weeks I was sick with laryngitis (I believe that was my body's way of getting rid of bacteria). Now when I inhale it, I only experience the positive effects of it once in awhile. The very first day I did it, I felt more alert, then I was sick with laryngitis, now I only feel alert and more energy once or twice a week (I am inhaling it every 4 hours or so and 5-7 sprays). Am I doing it wrong? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Just got to this very interesting site and have read everything from the top. Somewhere up there is a sentence that clearly says "We now do NOT suggest Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide due to its dangers if not properly diluted. See Page 1 for dangers."
Anyhoo I will be trying this very soon!!!

Have a QUESTION... If doing the inhaling with 3% hydogen peroxide I notice a white thick film developing on my tongue. Easy to spit out but is that normal. Also I am using food grade hydogen peroxide diluted to 3% by using 40ml of the 35% and adding diluted water to make up 500ml. How safe is that?

Ronald of Az,
Sounds like your husband has Community Pneumonia (formerly known as Walking Pneumonia). Have him checked out with his doctor. (blood test, x-ray as well as stethoscope lung sound screening will be performed)
If it goes untreated for too long (6 months), it can infect the heart and trigger heart failure and/or heart attack. (that's what happened to me - the latter)

{FOR HE COUGHED UP 100 TIMES ON THE 1ST DAY
50 TIMES ON THE SECOND DAY, AND APPPOX. 25 TIMES ON THE 3RD DAY.
HE HAS NOT USED THE INHALER SINCE THE 2ND DAY. WE ARE ON DAY 3 OF THE COUGHING UP WITHOUT ANY INHALATION OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE.

I did some experimenting on my own after reading numerous articles on H2O2 inhalation methods. I contracted some kind of virus that affected my lungs..with coughing spasms. I filled my cool mist humidifier with 1 gallon of reverse osmosis water and 2 ozs 35% food grade H2O2 and slept with this on thru the night for several nights. First thing I noticed, was that I was able to breathe considerably better with less coughing. This is strictly my own concoction..I was desparate, as conventional medicine was not doing anything for me. Thought I would pass this remedy on......

Same thing occurd with me, and I was told I had to start with a minuscule amount and slowly build to a maximum amount of I think it was 30 drops in 16oz of water a day. But you had to start with 1 drop in that amount of water and daily add a drop until you reach the maximum. I'm not sure about that 30 drops so if you search around the site I think you will come up with the right number.

I looked all over for a nasal sprayer without any luck. I then went to the Wall-Mart drug department and purchased a small bottle of Saline nasal spray. I took it home, opened it, and pried the spray tip loose with a knife and pulled it off. I dumped the saline solution and rinsed the bottle out. I then filled it about half full of 3.18% peroxide I'd mixed and replaced the spray tip. I covered the bottle with a piece of thin black plastic to keep the light from going through the plastic spray bottle. (As you know, light and heat affects the strength of hydrogen peroxide) I mixed the solution using 1 oz. 35% food grade hydrogen proxide with 11 oz. of disilled water. This has worked wonderfully well for me. Oh, I keep the extra protion of the solution I've mixed in the refrigerator until I need a refill.
Best of health to everyone. John

John, I had a similar reaction when I started this in October of 08. I have been battling Histoplasmosis for 7 years. My first reaction was to stop but I actually had tried everything else . I believe I read somewhere that the HPO can cause a die off ( in other words it is killing off infection, bacteria, fungus etc.) I added plenty of water and also the ACV and baking soda mixture as stated. I haven't tried the borax as of yet but I am I just have been reluctant. I can tell you this... It worked wonders for me... I also cut back a little bit on the HPO until I was feeling better. I did it every other day instead. I love this sight ... it has changed my life and I thank everyone's input. I hope you find relief too!

Hello John is it possible that you smoke or work around chemical fumes often as you may have sores in your lungs or something and the peroxide may just be stinging them so maybe you should back off so many sprays and spread them out over time instead all at once and see how it goes, i hope that helps and it goes away for you. Is H2O2 inhalation safe for my son who is on asthma medication?
This concerns H2O2 and particularly inhalation. I read the whole post on inhalation including the warning to smokers and individuals who have had medication via inhalers. My son was diagnosed with asthma a week back and as I have previous good experiences with drinking H2O2 (it eliminated my chronic sinusitis) I gave him a very dilute solution in fruit juice. Immediately his colour picked up and he says he feels great - but he is 7 and a sunshine, and says that of every medication I give him. He takes his cortisone by inhaler 2x per day as per prescription, but he coughs chronically and suffers from constricted chest, and as he is very active he was also prescribed Ventolin (a bronchodilator). With him regularly inhaling cortisone and having inhaled the Ventolin, would I cause a dangerous situation giving him H2O2 by nebulizer? Should I rather keep giving it to him in juice?

Hello i have tried out this about 5 months ago and i got 3 colds in a row before that,so i was on the net looking for ways to stop cold,s and came to this site somehow but glad i found it anyways i have been doing it for 5 months now and i have never breathed better and my nose is clear 24 hours a day and this is no lie. Also i have used 3% from drug stores and also have the Food Grade 35% which you delute it to 3% one once to 12 ounces of good water , or you put 35% in a blue glass eyedropper type bottle and there is a table to go by and its like this : take 3 drops put it in a 12oz glass of water 3 times a day then every day after add one more drop till you get to 25 drops then reverse it till you get back to 3 drops and stay at 3 drops a day 3 times a day. But spray pump works great also so its up to you how you want to use it.

Diluting 35% is a tricky business. You might have made too strong of a solution. This is why I tell people to buy the 3% from the drugstore and use that. It is easier, simpler and you never have to worry about the concentration. Please send me an email with your phone number and I will call you.

Bill, I am surprised you can't find nasal spray bottles in your local pharmacy. There are at least 10 choices at every grocery store and drugstore that I visit! Don't look for an empty one, you need to buy a saline or chemical solution for sinus and allergies and then empty the contents and sterilize it once you get home. Look for a nasal spray that uses a fine pump mist (printed on the bottle). Check the sinus and allergy section of any grocery store and I promise you will find a good number of choices. The bottle will cost anywhere from $4-$7. Remember to sterilize the bottle after you dump the contents with very hot water and soap, then fill it with your 3%.

Hello Ted,
My first experience with hydro peroxide was very scary, with a strange side effect. I used 35% FG-HP dilluted to 3% as I have read about. Then mixed 1 drop in a clean 4oz nasal sprayer with 4oz of distilled water.
I then ingested, (inhaled) two fine mist sprays by mouth. About 10 seconds after injesting I felt a very strange "hot rush like feeling" and my heart beat increased to a intense exercise level.
I felt very light headed & dizzy. However, my heart rate did slow down after a few minutes and I was fine except, my head and ears were very warm as if I had a fever...
My first though was that maybe I used too much for the first time.
The next day, I mixed one TLB spoon of the 3% in 32oz of the distilled water.
I took just three small sips, and the very same thing happened just not as intense..
I'm too scared to try it again. My question is: Do you know what is happening and why HP effects me this way?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

this response was under Inhaling Peroxide comments:
[05/16/2008: Jay from Altoona, Florida] "Finally in desperation I bought a "Ocean Saline Nasal Sprayer Inhaler" --emptied out the contents --and replaced the saline with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% straight from the drug store shelf.I sprayed the H202 both in my throat and nose and relief was immediate. "
Also, ebay has some nasal inhalers that you can buy:

Please not that these would be shipped from China and I expect the shipping time would be six weeks or more.

Question: Regarding Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Therapy: I have had difficulty finding nasal spray pumps. They are not available at my local Drugstore Chain. No luck with internet search either. Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation: I am a 40 year old African-American female. I started doing the Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalations on 1/10/2009 and I have already noticed a changed in my gray hair. I dyed my hair black a week prior to starting this remedy, and the gray usually resurfaces in about a week around the edges. I noticed the edges are majority black with a few strands of gray. I have gray hair all over (even gray pubic hair.) I have noticed that my gray pubic hair is now 85% black with only a few gray. I had a clogged gland in my breast tissue (a lump), and that has completely gone away.
I put the hydrogen peroxide in a nasal pray bottle and I spray 5 pumps every 4 hours. After each spray, I hold it in my lungs for as long as I can, then exhale through my nose. I do this 5 times. I keep the spray bottle in my purse so that I won't forget nor have the chance to miss my inhalations.
It burned my throat at first and I got hoarse, but that went away after a couple of days. Another thing I noticed is that my skin is clear (I have had acne since I was 12) and the facial hair I had started developing is minimal now.
I will let you know how it's going after another 2 weeks.
I am definitely impressed by this. I am not using anything else right now because I want to be sure which method is causing which results.

I starting getting a high feeling..I've had so many toxins in my body, alot of it was coming out, and it wasn't nice, but in order to be healed your body has to get rid of this stuff, so sometimes you will feel worst and then better, not the other way around...This is normal.. I have been having problems with my weight, and feeling like my muscles were wasting away...when I started inhaling Hydrogen Peroxide, I started getting my muscle mass back, and feeling healthier.. I love it, and This is the best thing for me... I think everyone should try it...

Im very happy and impressed with these more natural ways of treatment - still a little concerned about taking bicarb with the acv because of the possibility of it increasing bp..........has anyone answered that question yet? I noticed someone else asked about it.......J

Spraying H202 into the lungs will certainly help with relief of congestion but for sinus problems it is probably better to use 3 percent H202 broken down 50percent with water and ,using a nose dropper introduce 4/5 drops directly into each nostril.Do this by laying on a couch or bed with your head hanging over the side. It will sting somewhat (no use lying )but will be worth it in the long run.Depending on the severity of the blockage do this twice daily for 2 days once daily for 3 days. Of course back off or stop if you get full relief at an earlier stage.Best of good luck and happy New Year

You are on the right track. At 72, I have had sinus problems for a number of years until I began to do the things recommended on this site a few years ago. I have developed my own regimen which keeps my breathing open both night and day. I do Bill's hydrogen peroxide thing at daylight and dark. I also mix a nasal spray of 1/4 tsp of sea salt , 1/4 tsp of baking soda and 5 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract into 1/4 cup of distilled water. I spray this into my nostrials when I do the hp.
I then clean the mucus out as best I can. I no longer have to breath through my mouth and my headach's are gone. GSE is a natural fungicide and is used to kill black mold in homes that are deemed uninhabitable. It will do in lots of bad stuff.
We have a berry farm and use it on all our picked berries to prevent deterioration. Most sales folks spray it in their motel rooms before spending the night. As Hulda Clark says in her books.....mold, fungus and parisites are the root cause of most illiness'.

hi - i just wanted to ask if you have ever tried the sea salt and water remedy? you add sea salt (i think 1 teaspoon per cup of water - you can look up the exact measurement on-line - i just do it by feel) and hold one nostril and snort the water mix into your sinuses and it will come out your mouth. do this several times with both nostrils. they sell neti pots for this at health food stores - or you can use a baby ear cleaning bulb syringe - but i always just use a bowl. this should clean all the crud out of your sinuses so that good bacteria can be there instead of the bad. i've also heard that people had luck adding baking soda or apple cider vinegar to the mixture.
also garlic minced and a few drops of water added (take the clear liquid) and snort it works to heal sinus infections - but it does hurt for a moment. the sea salt mixture does not hurt.
